Closed for renovations, no posts on social media to let customers know. We came from another neighborhood specifically for this restaurant, very disappointing.

Came here from across town for a saturday night 5-7 oysters and drinks and the door is locked and they arent open. Nothing on their very active instagram about this. Very upset!

My wife and I ate there last Saturday on the last night of our Montreal vacation. I had ribeye and she had lobster. The food was amazing! My steak was the best Ive had in years. The service was great, so was the atmosphere. Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessable to wheelchairs

review As a anglophone who is a regular customer who comes with french speaking friends I am really suprised when I come here... Almost no waiter speaks french and sometimes they ONLY talk to you in english. Even though I can understand them, my friends never do and im always the translator.. As a regular I also noticed that the menu has changed and most options have been removed. The menu is also weirdly translated, some things are in french only and some are in english only ... See pictures below lol. As for the owner.. the way he responds to customers and gaslights them into thinking he was there everynight something bad happens and says it wasnt true is a true representation of this place.

Frozen food. Bad oyster. Poor service. Over priced and me and my friends had the worst experience after spending over 2k on a birthday. I would highly not recommend. Many better places at a fair price. As the owner like to target folks and lie... I have this to add. his claims of fake reviews are false. All of this is true, there are plenty from other staff. Just scroll down to see. The fake reviews are the 5 stars from his friends. They also are running an illegal business and were paying us cash and pocketing what they were taxing us. Which has screwed alot of us on our taxes this year. And thats why theyre getting audited. Oyster are pre shucked, the lobster is precooked, the condition of their fridge is disgusting. Again wouldnt recommend working there or even drinking out of their glass ware. And Matt you and your concubine are getting slapped with notices from my lawyer. Should I add photos of the treating text you sent me and other folks that worked for you? Cuz I will.

Went out for a friend s birthday (party of 11). Restaurant was not that busy 3 tables were occupied but we were the largest group. I waited 1hr30 for truffle fries which had barely any truffle on them. Menu is not up to date as there was no chimichurri available yet it was displayed on the menu, then to top everything off, we were charged gratuity on top of the tax instead of being charged gratuity on the food. Might seem silly but everything adds up. Also, we waited 1hr to pay our bill. Laughable experience nonetheless.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. So many things went wrong! We got there and there was only one waitress (she was amazing) doing her best but service was extremely slow. Finally another man showed up and started to help her. We ordered the seafood platter with him and was never told that there were no crab legs left. It s only when we realized we were missing them and we told him that he said they were out of them and he forgot to pass on the message to the female server (but we ordered with him). So they were just gonna not say anything and charge us the full price? Anyways, when we mentioned it they offered us a dessert to make up for it but at this point we were so disappointed we just wanted to leave as there was also missing the garlic butter, knives and the pince for the lobster. We looked at the menu and since the crab legs were worth 40$ we asked them to remove 40$ off the bill and it was like it was the end of the world to give us a discount. It categorizes itself as a nice restaurant but the ceiling is falling. The mirror is all dirty and there is literally dust hanging from everywhere. Worst experience I ve had!

Overpriced unprofessional circus

Maybe it was F1 weekend, but it seemed like this just didn t quite live up to the hype. Nice room, service was pretty attentive, but the food let them down a bit. They were out of quite a few items. My steak and lobster was supposed to be a 10oz filet mignon and lobster tail. They were out of the filet ok. They said they would sub a ribeye. Fine by me. But I still only got what looked to be a 10oz portion of ribeye for the SAME PRICE!?!? Those cuts are no where near the same price. I was expecting the full ribeye not a small portion.

Literally the worst restaurant in Montreal

Risotto amazing

The experience was really negative. No salad anywhere to the surprise and disappointment of one of our guests. The cod was extremely salty, no way to appreciate it...in my starter of sautéed mushrooms there must have been goats cheese...nothing...unequal service. Staff rather untrained or trained for this type of restaurant. Several bottles of wine were missing...is the restaurant about to close?? I ordered a lobster linguini...45 minutes later someone came to see me to tell me that they no longer had linguini!!

Everything went well until we ordered our second dozen of oyster during their 5-7. Took 45 mins.

SCAM! Said that the are opened and that there s a deal for oysters 5-7 . THEY ARE A CLOSED , then we called nobody answered.

Our visit to guilt and ivy turned out to be our worst dinner outing experience. The first let down was a menu that s half blacked out. I had checked the menu online before making a reservation to ensure there was adequate choice. Turned out half the menu was blacked out in black Sharpie We chose to stay and selected from the limited menu available. Service was slow but we were tolerant. As we made our way thru the salad we ordered (which happened to be really good ) we began to smell something burning then the place filled up with smoke. So much smoke that our eyes began to burn. With that amount of smoke you d expect the fire alarm would go off. Mine did. Apparently they don t have the necessary fire protection in place. Having gotten so uncomfortable in the increasingly heavy smoke we left our table in search of an open window for some fresh air. I waited at the open window for 10 minutes waiting for someone working there to come and address the situation. I wanted to pay for the drink and salad we had clearly understanding that our dinner was done. No one bothered to come see to us. That s when I left. My only recommendation is stay away from that place.

Just popped in for a few drinks by myself and had a fine time. Atmosphere is classy and quiet. Service was quick (within seconds), and the staff are bilingual. Exactly what you d want in Westmount.

Bad restaurant. People dont get paid there

Went for $1 oysters and really liked the place. Great ambiance and excellent street parking availability in the evening.

I genuinely wanted to like this spot but it fell short on every possible level. They d overbooked/double booked so our table was only ready 20 mins past reservation. The service was abysmal and scarce, you will be forgotten. You have to practically plead for water. The food is some of the most flavourless and overpriced you ll find. I had to douse my food with s&p and hot sauce to make it make sense. For these prices and taste , you might as well go to those franchise surf & turf chain restaurants. The bathroom/WC good god. I ll spare the details and dealings. Let s just say that if a sanitarian inspector came by, it would be hard to justify something that dilapidated anywhere near a restaurant. What hurts the most was that this was a birthday celebration, I d give anything to undo this experience. Other guests were obnoxiously dancing on tables and screaming a few tables away from us without much protest from the staff. Their online marketing is great and drew me in but it s just a matter of time until word of mouth catches up with the projected illusion. I don t understand how something like this can exist in a neighbourhood like Westmount but heed the rating and run elsewhere.

Nice place but too classique for me

I was introduced to this restaurant on instagram and it caught my attention with the mention of $1 oysters 5-7pm. Parking on the street was easy to find on a Thursday and we were greeted warmly at the door. I had booked spots at the bar but we were the first guests through the door so they let us choose any table. The decor is modern and clean. We were served by Melissa who was helpful, cheerful and attentive. We started with the oysters and were impressed. In fact we ordered 2 dozen more. We also ordered filet mignon, salmon, French fries and Brussel sprout kimchi and were happy with our meals. I finished the night with a carrot cheese cake and coffee. Although on the expensive side, we were very happy with our dining experience and plan to return, particularly for the oyster special.

The first thing you see when you come in is a bunch of grey bus bins in front of the kitchen on the lower level, which isnt visually appealing. As we neared our table, I noticed a large tear in the leather bench. The menus were sticky on the outside, and had food stains on the inside. There was a very cold draft coming in from the nearby window, and we asked to be moved. The food, for the price, wasnt anything special. Our bill was nearly $500 for two people, for which price youd expect to be blown away by culinary genius, which we were not. Dont get me wrong, nothing was bad, but nothing was particularly memorable. We enjoyed the oysters, although three of my dozen had shards of shell. The grilled mushrooms were also good, but again, nothing mind-blowing. The salmon tartar was good, but the avocado slices underneath the fish macédoine were unripe, and unpleasantly crunchy. My bone-in ribeye was cooked and seasoned well. Note that sides are extra. My partners risotto was good, but slightly under-seasoned. My partner mentioned it had a supper-club vibe, which I would agree with, if there was a dance floor. Service was great, and our waitress was attentive and pleasant.

Went for a birthday. The food was pretty good. The vibe is beautiful. The service was good too. Maybe its because we were a larger group (11 ppl) but it was easier to just say forget about getting water because the servers had to be ask multiple times before it happened. Other than that, it was a nice restaurant. I would recommend it for a night out or a cute date night.

Bad experience the restaurant is rotten there are big rats most of the merchandise is rotten a great lack of hygiene among the cooks no one respects the standards of hygiene and safety I am sure that this restaurant will not hold up well I advise people to go to this restaurant

My wife and I took my elderly mother to this restaurant, and we all were very impressed. It is hip, and the staff extremely attentive, all of them. I found my filet mignon tasty but off tasting even once cooked again so the waitress did not charge us for it. Everything else was to die for, absolutely divine. The $1 before 7pm oysters were a perfect start. Desserts were phenomenal. Superb restaurant that I would recommend to anyone who appreciates gourmet food with a cool atmosphere.

Food & service were mid (subpar) I ordered the herb crusted lamb rack that was not even herb crusted :( And the bone marrow risotto where the marrow was totally dried out . 1$ oysters were nice But I wouldn t go back if it weren t for oysters

Very good food. The only downside is that the music is super loud, you cant hear yourself talking. We were with a hearing impaired person, we had to insist on 3 occasions that the volume be lowered a little while explaining our friends disability. We even asked to change tables. After the 3rd time we saw a little difference. Little advice: access for disabled people does not stop at putting a wheelchair ramp, it is also ensuring that hearing impaired people can also enjoy a nice evening at the restaurant with friends. It s 2023. A little empathy please

I had a fun experience for my bday especially since i had a lot to drink. Food is mediocre... my guests told me only later that they saw things come out of the freezer and they placed it under heat lamp and bags of french fries from like mccain bags. Waitress was super nice and friendly. Another guest of mine asked for a short espresso when it came he questioned it , as it looked and then tasted like dirty water he asked the guy if this was a short or long and the guy there gave him so much attitude and rudeness saying the coffee is all the same here meaning that they dont serve short or long espressos ....my guest didnt want to start a scene so he let it be

Best Oysters I ever had! Im hooked

In 2 words: Absolutely Awesome! Great atmosphere! The staff is kind and professionals, the chefs very skilled and the waitresses talented. The food, without exaggeration, is cooked to perfection and presented so beautifully. Dinner at Guilt & Ivy exceeded our expectations and will go down as one of our most memorable meals ever! There should be a special 6 star-rating for this place !!!

Paying premium prices only to get attitude from the staff. Their drinks are good but there s just so many better restaurants in Montreal.

I wish i could have given this place more stars but unfortunately it fell short in many aspects. First off love the vibe of the place. The ambiance is great, music was fun and at a perfect volume to not have to yell across the table, and we all had a great time. We arrived around 8:20 for our 8:15 reservation and got seated right away. We got our first round of drinks pretty quickly and everyone enjoyed them. But then we didn t see our waitress for another 35 mins. We were all ready to order. I had to get up to go find her. After ordering all our meals it took almost 30-40 mins to get our appetizers. We also were told they were missing 3 things from the menu (burger, tuna tataki and beef carpaccio) 3 pretty big staples on a menu. It took a long time to get the food but again everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Now for the mains. Which came out close to 10pm 2 people ordered the octopus. On the menu it says 2 full tentacles, when we received it was a plate loaded with olives and 4-6 cut pieces of octopus. For a plate that cost $45, it is def not worth it. We asked the waiter and they said thats what it is. I looked at the menu online before i arrived and chose everything before hand. So when i ordered a monte carlo potato, and received a baked potato loaded with sour cream I was a bit confused. When the waitress came by she said they changed that item on the menu would have been nice to know while I was ordering i never would pay $12 for a baked potato. Even 12$ for a monte carlo is expensive. Other than the cold french fries that also came out, everyone else enjoyed their food. The owner gave some shots to my wife and friend while they were waiting in line for the 1 bathroom there is for the whole restaurant wonder what happens if that stall goes out of order? There was also a reoccurring smell of smoke from the kitchen floating around the restaurant..must be bad ventilation in the kitchen. So all in all it was a very expensive dinner which could have been a lot better. Staff were all very nice and did a great job, wish the service was a little faster. Will we be back? Not sure

Adorable place, but oh not as expected for the food. Their advertising is on point which I will give that to them and brought us there. Good deal for the Oysters at it was a Thursday. I asked a tabasco and the waitress gave me a almost empty and so crunchy dirty bottle that I didn t took any The prices seemed decent until we got our plates (12$ a side, please look at the spinach plate, we were really disappointed). Plus they came at least 5 min after our mains. The ribeye, my bf felt it was way too salty. Finally, the service was basic, the waitress had her speech but didn t upsell anything. She was dragging her attention only to my bf as she assume he would pay the bill. It shows it s more an after-hour place.

Slow and mediocre service, since we were a group of more than 6 the tip was automatic so no effort on the part of the servers. We waited 1 hour for starters. We arrived at 6 p.m. and left only at 10 p.m. I dont recommend.

I had a very good experience at Guilt and Ivy restaurant! Very good value for money, the $1 oysters are premium, the platters are generous, I loved the lobster mac n cheese. The place is small and intimate. I ate at the bar and really enjoyed the service!

I recently made a reservation for my parents and me at Guil & Ivy. While the food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy, it wasnt particularly upscale. Unfortunately, our dining experience was greatly impacted by the poor ventilation in the dining area. As soon as the service began, the whole place was filled with the smell of grilled steak. Although I dont want to exaggerate, I couldnt wait to leave the restaurant and get some fresh air outside. When I asked our waitress if the ventilation system was broken, she explained that the smell was normal and that if we have a few orders of steak, its normal that it smells a bit. I dont think its acceptable to dine in a place that is filled with kitchen smells, no matter how the food is prepared or presented. To make matters worse, the smell of the grilled steak clung to our clothes and followed us all the way home. I feel bad for the staff members who have to work in such an environment for their whole evening. Its a real shame because I genuinely enjoyed the food, but I dont think well be returning anytime soon. I want to make a side note that Im aware that restaurants are not required to provide complimentary items. However, I thought it might be helpful to mention that they dont offer a small dessert on the house if youre celebrating your birthday.

Atrocious I would have given 0 stars . never go there, it s by far the worst restaurant I ve tried in my life .. . The quality of the food, the service, not to mention that on more than 5 occasions they came to tell us that we had to leave by 10 p.m. when we had an 8 p.m. arrival. Bad management, horrible wine list, really ordinary atmosphere, smell of burning and smoke everywhere in the restaurant. Seriously, he charges a price worthy of a real high-end restaurant without delivering anything at all. Owner should go take notes in other restaurants because it seems like No one knows what a real service it is to justify its astronomical prices and its quality/customer service. Never never go There . Worst experience

Cozy. Beautiful, intimate place. Excellent steak. Good service.

I went there for a birthday party. We were a large group. We were seated very quickly. I ordered oysters and the surf and turf platter to share. The oysters were delicious. However, the surf and turf platter was tasteless. I did mention it to the waitress she did try to make it right, but it was too late. I gave my platter to my friends because they were still waiting for their food. The manager did come. In the beginning, he thought we ate the platter. I told him no, and told him I had given the platter to my friends. I told him that I wasn t trying to have a free meal. It was just the food was bland. He apologized and offered us some shots and drinks, but they should do better. Their prices aren t cheap and frankly, it was money thrown in the garbage. Plus, I think there is an issue with the air system. At some point, smoke was all over the place. It was uncomfortable. The staff is friendly and attentive, but I didn t like my experience.

I had the pleasure to celebrate my birthday at Guilt and Ivy and I couldn t of pick a better place. From making the reservation to leaving the place the service was A1. We were a group of 25, service was fast enough considering the good, the drinks were good and the food was amazing!! I recommend the lamb . Special thanks to Melissa that was amazing and sweet to my group. We will be back for sure.

Horrible and shameful experience: arrived at 6 p.m., they told EACH guest to leave at 8 p.m. even though there were 15 PEOPLE and all present before 6:30 p.m. Its a real shame. No adequate serving time for a group, a reasonable time for a group of 8 people+ is 3 hours (all major restaurants in Montreal are like this) and at the end of the meal they brought us the bills without asking, but we wanted desserts & we were asked to eat them at the bar. a real joke! We dont stay if we dont consume, lets agree! They decided for themselves not to bring anything except for the person celebrating their birthday. The service and management are very poor, no professionalism for a so-called high end restaurant. No ventilation either, the smell of the grill sticks to clothes. Avoid going there for special events, you will avoid embarrassing yourself in front of your guests. i do not recommend.

Great place for date night.

Looks like this place is trying to survive by charging no-show fee even though we called and cancelled our reservation in advance. A few days later I was still charged $50 no-show fee for 2 ppl which is quite disappointing. Regardless of emailing them nobody got back to us. Definitely we aren t get back there under any circumstances. With such customers service $50 won t help this place to stay long. Amen!

Went with my friend for happy hour ordered their dollar oysters, burger with truffle fries and lamb chops alongside a dry martini. Everything was delicious and fresh! Their kimchi mignonette caught me by surprise how tasty it was!

Bad service charge 18% for a group of 6 or more even if we didn t get a decent service

Food was okay, service and atmosphere is bad. Had to have argument with everyone and prefered to go elsewhere afyer the starters. A diner hasbetter service and people are better!

The food was great, like the oysters, but we left before taking a proper dinner... the service from the manager was not great. The white wine was not cold. Overall experience was bmveru moderate, af least the oysters were great.

PLACE TO AVOID!!!! FRAUD !!!! $$ They load noshow even if you are present. They will not refund you. They dont respond, and tell you that Libro is the problem. I had to go to the restaurant to get a $200 refund!! YES $200!! The 23 year old manager made me wait and ignored me in the entrance. He GAROCCHED my $200 in bills. This restaurant will be a flash in the pan. This is fraud.

I really enjoyed this place! We did oysters and cocktails and then stayed for dinner since we were having such a fun time! The service was amazing and engaging, the vibe of the place was fun, and the food was really tasty!! Oysters, tartar, lobster ravioli and the brussel sprouts were delicious! Will be back!

Dinner for 2. Aesthetically nice place. Food was good. Very overpriced for what you get and for where you re situated. We ordered oysters as starters before our main meal and they forgot about them. The waitress was sweet and offered us shots on the house after i informed her that they forgot our oysters. We appreciated that. They were also pushy when it came to selecting a wine bottle. Overall, if i m looking to go to a higher-end place, i d rather go to the old port, eat just as much & pay 3/4 as much. This place advertises their place well, but not worth it in my opinion.

This is the worst service I have had in a restaurant. We were brought our drinks at the end of our meal. Then to apologize she tells us that she will give us another free drink. My friend ordered a moito virgin and since there was none we offered her sprite with juice inside. Subsequently, I ask for the invoices, and at the same time she brings us the free drinks, when we leave (she had probably forgotten to bring them) When we receive the invoices, her famous mojito virgin is $14 even though its sprite. So we mention to the waitress that this is not normal and she persists to tell us that it is the same thing as me. In short, I do not recommend this restaurant and even the table next to us had several problems with their drinks.

everything tasted the same tbh. cocktails are fine, oysters don t taste like much. tuna tataki lacked flavors. it s just fine. i wouldn t bother going again tbh the staff is great tho, super welcoming super friendly.

Excessively long services 1st cocktail received in the second course plate of seafood, without tongs, no crouton for tartare bossboy did not clear the full plates, intense heat on the third floor.. They excused themselves with a round of cocktails, fine. But I do not recommend this place, It is very expensive for the experience obtained. My advice would be to have more staff and a team of experienced servers to offer this type of menu. But for $600 total its a big no. You will see further down in the comments the arrogance of the owner who mentions that we were 10 people, but in reality there were 4 of us.

Came here for dinner with friends and had an amazing experience. Cocktails were yummy and our server was really sweet.

I have received very good service every time I have been there. Their happy hour special on oysters and their cocktail are a great discovery. The dishes tried were delicious.

From their service to their meals, I have to say this restaurant will not survive. The worst was how poor quality their bone marrow was. I immediately called the waitress to advise her that it was simply bone and no marrow whatsoever. She came back with another marrow-less bone. Not only will I never set foot in this restaurant, but I will advise my friends & family to not waste a penny at this spot. No hard feelings bur simply a disaster of a restaurant.

It was my first experience at guilt and ivy and certainly not my last. The food was amazing and so was the service. From 5 to 7 they have 10.00$ drinks and 1.00$ oysters which is always great, I had an amazing time and i would definitely be back

Great food. Everything was delicious. Risotto was so good. Our waitress Melissa was so nice and very attentive. We were very lucky to sit next to the bar so we got to appreciate the bartender Khaled his drinks were amazing and he was very nice and friendly. This restaurant is a must. My second time and will definitely come back a third time.

Beautiful place and cocktails are WOOWW!!! but the service was realllyy slow and bad felt like its under stafed.. we needed to call the server everytime. Food was good but oyters are a mess the person who opens them is not gentle clearly.. over all nice place!!

We celebrated a birthday dinner and it was a lovely and delicious experience! We came for the happy hour oysters, the service was amazing and the food was excellent! Dietary restrictions: There were dietary restrictions among us and the chef personally came to describe the menu, he was very knowledgeable of the ingredients and allergens.

Restaurant that you barely see when you walk through Sherbrooke in Westmount I discovered it on Instagram and it was worth the detour. The staff is pleasant and the food is not bad

The blurry generic pics doesn t do this place justice. I was here a week ago for my sweet coworker-friend s bday. Man does she have good taste. I m a vegetarian transitioning to pescatarian. Our waitress (forgot her name - libra, blonde, with these awesome big retro glasses) happened to be someone who was well on her way in that journey. She helped me super tediously. I started with the Grilled Season Wild Mushrooms (no picture sorry not sorry, I was too enraptured). Phenomenal. No words. Jaws-dropped for the entire table, I say that unapologetically. Cooked so perfectly, it resulted in a perfect pull as well. Then the big moment of truth, Salmon Fillet & Asparagus well-done the way I like it. This was my first time eating Salmon by the way. Gosh it was so perfect. So filling. You could feel the freshness as well. And my favorite part was that crispy-almost-crunchy-but-not taste. I ll be back. P.s. Great Moroccan bartender who kept the entire place in high spirits. Thank you to our/my waitress helping us feel expensive and worthy of this delicious food

Place was horrible when I left I had diarrhea clearly something was not up to date there the service was rude and took too long over low quality place for Westmount I would never step foot in that place again

Very very expensive.

Reserved a table for a saturday night because the menu had a lot items rhat sounded good. Parking was easily available and free. Service was good. Waitress was friendly and checked in often. The drinks werent great. Old fashioned tasted watered down with basic bar ice and the mojito was far too sweet. Food was by far the worst part. From starters to mains, nothing hit quite right. We ordered the fried calamari and black truffle steak tartare and neither were good. We waited a long time for our mains and the waitress was kind enough to offer a round of drinks on the house. Once our food arrived, we realized that an extra round might have been necessary. The filet mignon was nothing to rave home about, and the octopus might have been thrown on onto a fire straight out of the water with the amount of flavor it had (not to mention that it took 10 seconds to cut through it). By the time we were done, we were so underwhelmed and aware of our two hour reservation time coming to a close (due to the long wait time) that we didnt even try to order dessert, and called it a night. Definitely part of the latest trend of restaurants more aimed to appear fancy than to give you what you pay for. Considering the amount we paid, we expected more.

For the price, I was expecting a high end restaurant. To summarize this in its simplest terms: imagine if the sports cage served Lobster, that is Guilt and Ivy. The lobster, clearly cooked the day before, was cold, dry and earthy. When we tried to explain the situation, our waitress ignored us and the manager laughed at us. If you want to spend $300 on a mediocre dinner, by all means, go to the Guilt!

Too bad we cant add a video because apart from that we had whole lobster platters, scallop pie, meat and more. I have nothing to add except that they eat like Pashas! There were 3 of us It s just Goodbye!

I recently dined at Guilt and Ivy for a reunion with two close friends, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. I m at a lost for words about this place or maybe still on a high from last night lol Where to begin the food is delicious and whatever I haven t tasted, I m convinced it will be just as delicious as what I had! The cocktails are bomb, they are not just nice to look at, they taste amazing!!! At last, the service, I must admit it s been hard to find good service since the pandemic cause of the lack of staff or just the « joie » of working all together but this place reminded me of what good service felt like and the feeling was great! From the bar tender, to the waiter & the bus boy, all amazing and kind people! I would recommend this place to anyone who s looking to dine in or drop by for a drink. Definitely a do over for me!

Delicious evening with the most tasteful risotto bone marrow in town . Fresh Oysters with caviar to dye for ! Chef made my steak the way I love it! Medium rare perfect! Awesome cocktails . Can t wait to go back , next time with my family .

Dissapointing experience. The food was very good, but the service was terrible. Management did not do anything about it. Too bad, because the food was good. But the service was terrible.

The food was below average and the service was the worst I ve ever witnessed. By way of example, among many, they didn t have enough utensils and forgot it was someone s birthday at the table. Everything was overpriced. Matt and Alyssa were extremely rude. I would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy.

Absolutely amazing experience! My girls and I had some great cocktails and a beautiful seafood tower. Oh!!! And you must not forget to get the truffle fries :) Perfect start to are weekend.

Wanted somewhere special to go on a date: i hit the jackpot with this little gem of a place! Great atmosphere with a unique but cozy decor. Food was beyond what I expected (could not eat enough of the sea bass). Deserts are to die for! Drinks well I could of had many many more but I was working the next day. Our waitress knew exactly when to come by and see how we were doing. A+++

Guilt & Ivy is a great restaurant for a fun night out. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is energetic and classy, and the staff is amazing. RJ, the bartender, makes incredible drinks. Servers, Melissa and Carol, are very kind and attentive. And Matt, the manager, makes sure you and your party have a fantastic dining experience. I highly recommend the oysters with caviar and crème fraîche. You won t be disappointed after an evening here!

Ok seriously hands down the new IN SPOT of Montreal. The food was amazing !!!!! The bone marrow risotto is to die for !! The ambiance and the staff are just incredibly pleasant. We went with 5 friends and tried a lot of different dishes on the menu + wine and it was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend !!!!

Tried Guilt & Ivy for the first time with my boyfriend last week after seeing all the hype on social media. We were not disappointed ! The staff was amazing and very attentive to our needs not once did we need to ask for water refills or more drinks. Service was quick and there was a great pace between appetizers and the mains. As soon as we were finished with something, the empty plates were removed promptly to make room for the next ones. The food was also amazing ! The menu features a good variety of options for every taste and some dished you dont see often. The bone marrow risotto was a favourite for the both of us, as well as the oysters (served with caviar and crème fraîche) and the octopus. We had the best time and our waitress was super nice and friendly. Definitely do consider this spot for date nights, work dinner or anniversaries ! I know well be back very soon with a couple fo friends !

Fantastic Food and Amazing hospitality, Best lobster tail ive ever tasted!

A multi-tier restaurant with 4 half levels (which makes it, visually, kind of cool yet intimate...with only a few tables per floor). Classic modern contemporary dishes like salmon tartare and caeser salad along with bone marrow risotto. We had a fairly large group and the accommodate all of us well. The service was attentive and no failings. The only, small, downside was the resto was a bit smokey because the open kitchen was below us...but it was not an impediment to the meal. Parking: We got lucky and found a street spot immediately in front of the restaurant but Sherbrooke in Westmount can be a bit tricky... Wheelchair accessibility: This is a hard one as there are many stairs with just a few steps just to enter...

First experience and unfortunately below my expectations I expected a lot more from a restaurant in this area the food was very bland without flavor and without taste fortunately the oysters were fresh and their mignonettes delicious The marrow risotto was not I only tasted spinach .the burger was overcooked and the tuna tartare lacked punch!!! Beef Carpaccio was horrible a huge slab of beef very chewy. Went for dinner and was advised that they have a 2 hour limit during our dinner.spoke to the owner who was not sympathetic even after spending 400+ hes only concerned with serving his friends. Will never go back there. Much better places with better service at more reasonable pricing.

The new york strip and the oysters was really good, however, we where a bit disappointed about the tuna tataki and the beef carpaccio. Not much flavor in the tuna tataki and the beef carpaccio was too chewy. Dessert was good.

I great restaurant with an equally great staff and food! First time dinning at the restaurant and staff created such a warm and welcoming environment. The bone marrow risotto: mouth watering and incredibly filling! Mussels & Fries: Very well cleaned and prepped without any overlap or over powering taste and fries that refused to not be crispy! 100% would recommend for any occasion!

Response to owner: Please dont look for reasons to seem like you were not in the wrong. I would not give you a bad review if you werent, especially knowing how hard the restaurant industry is. First of all we were not 22 minutes late, we parked at 6h05pm. There was a short line when we got there. The table time is 2h, from 6pm (our reservation time) to 8pm. It was 7h45 pm and we were asked to leave. We were still in our time. We had our jackets on and we were waiting to get a container to take our food home. Someone telling us to leave is completing unnecesary. I will gladly change my review if I can come back and good time. I wish I had the 5 stars experience others had. We came during the 5 a 7 oysters on a tuesday, the service was terrible. As soon as we sat down, we ordered oysters, and it took more than 1h to get them. (Why have oyster night if you cannot sustain the amount of orders?) Then, our waitress was completely gone for the rest of the evening. She only came to see us 30 minutes after seating us, we were starving. We wanted the burger but there were no more? She left the table so quick we didnt even get the chance to ask for something else. The mocktail mojito tasted like water (all of us thought this). After we were at our table for 1h30mins, another woman came to ask us to leave the table because they need it. Firstly, there were other available tables, secondly not one person was waiting at the door to be seated and thirdly we havent even been there for long? What a terrible experience, especially after I recommend this place, im so embarrassed. Two stars for the oysters being really good, everything else was a zero.

Beautiful restaurant and atmosphere, service is subpar, not very attentive . The only one attentive was the busboy serving water. Bone marrow risotto had no bone marrow, however the oysters were excellent. Overall okay experience, expected it to be a little better with the pretty penny you pay.

The portions are good, and food is very tasty. The music choice was excellent as well as the vibe!

Need I say more !!! we went for dinner with a few friends and like always a few arrived late, that being said, we sat at the bar instead and was welcome by 2 amazing bartenders, had a few drinks which were very original & recommended we LOVED IT ( sorry forgot what it was called) & amazing Oyters that followed, 45 min later our friends arrived wand we were seated. The food was inpecable the seafood, fillet migon... cooked to perfection and the service was Top noche they are very attentive to your needs and requests, even asking if anyone had any food allergies etc, wow never been asked before... we really enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend that you try them out, you will not be disappointed. I Need to go back soon, getting hungry just thinking of their mouth watering menu there is something for everyone Vegetarian options: many options like salads or pasta etc Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options and also lactate free options but I LOVE cheese so much that I suffer somewhat afterwards ... but worth it Kid-friendliness: I went with my kids as well, they loved the burgers, a bit big but they enjoed every bite & the crispy fries ... wow next time I am having a burger as well with wine or beer of course Wheelchair accessibility: on the main level

We were charged $150 per person for a small starter and a supposed steak and seafood platter. In the description, it said lobster tail, giant shrimp and octopus. The platter was in fact a small cheap plate of filet mignon, an overcooked lobster tail, 1 small shrimp cut in 2 and two 2 cm pieces of burnt octopus!! Frankly, I cant believe they dare to charge such a price for such a mediocre meal. At Makro its $150 for 2 people and you get a real platter of steak, seafood with 2 sides and sauces that is 100 times more worth it in terms of quality, quantity and taste!! In short, I dont understand why this restaurant is so highly rated, but in any case, I dont recommend it and I would certainly never go back there again!

Service was great, but that is about it. Thé ventilation in the place is horrible, smoke from cooking came all the way up burning your eyes . The food is not that great salmon was over cooked .

Overall bad experience, I would never go there again , reserved one month before, they sat us beside the door we froze the entire night we were wearing our coats, food is ok nothing to die for, need lots of attention to detail to stand up to there image
