We chose the 12oz rump steaks, and it was absolutely gorgeous and very tasty .would definitely recommend this place.

Had been at home without power for almost 12 hours and came here for some much needed warmth and sustenance!!! We ordered the tower and it was superb! The burgers were so good as were the ribs! Chips were some of the tastiest around. The whole thing was amazing. My son went with a snickers brownie and again it was on point so soft and indulgent! And last but not least the staff, everyone we saw was friendly and spoke with a smile. Our server was brilliant even teased my son about the amount he could eat. Best meal Ive had in ages. Will be returning with friends lol

We attended as a party of 4, food was very nice and came out fast, shame there s no draught beers to go with your meal, all drinks looked to be coming out of cans. While I appreciate the decor is meant to look rustic, it can still be clean, if you aren t gonna dust the weird glasses in boxes on the window ledges then take them away they just make the place look dirty. Last gripe is tip, 10% tip is automatically added to your bill, sorry but a tip is not automatic it should be deserved for good service which was not what we were given on the evening we attended. Staff had little interaction with us and it would help to remind customers that burgers don t come with chips so that patrons who may miss this on your menu don t end up hungry, upselling sides would better your staff engagement with customers too. Overall good food but experience needs a little work.

I had a meal there with 4 people and had to leave early. I ordered a steal and chicken wings. They forgot my wings and brought then out late. The average steak served on a roof tile was nothing to write home about either. When asking to settle the bill the said they couldnt split it and asked me to work it out myself from the menu. So I paid for mine and included a tip. When my friends settled up later, the staff added my wings onto the bill and said I hadnt paid for them and charged my friend an extra 10 quid. I found out and phoned the establishment and they told me I would have to get everyone to send their proof of payments and then they would check CCTV to see if had paid cash. I dont know what kind of clandestine receipt system they are using but it is Weston super mare after all. Overall, it is nice that they are giving special people jobs at least

Had dinner here the other week and loved it! I had the Bare Grills burger, my partner the ribs. Both were delicious, and even the chips were to die for, crispy and *really* well seasoned. As a true pickle lover, I can also say that there house pickles are some of the best I have had. We were really too full for pudding, but were kindly offered free cheesecake as they hated to throw it away (it was just before closing, guess it couldn t keep another day) and that too was absolutely amazing. Everyone in there was also *really* friendly, excellent service all round. Can t wait to go back to try more things, there were so many other tasty sounding dishes!

Sat patiently waiting for around 10 mins, even after collecting menus for myself etc. The people that had food, looked great, the atmosphere was good. The staff running the show had no organisation skills whatsoever, cleaning a table before serving us and I watched them leave the food for well.iver 5 minutes.

Came here to celebrate our daughter in laws Birthday, The food was great, the service was brilliant. I ve not been here before but will be back. A very small gripe if I have to have one, the music was a little loud making conversations around the table difficult. Parking: If you are lucky, you might find some on street paid parking, if not there are some multi-storey car parks in town but you will have a bit of a walk to and from them.

Not a great experience and wont go back because of it. Told us we had an hour and then table given back (we said no problem) but most of the food was cold when it arrived (properly cold) so we didnt eat it. They also forgot to bring the free drink with childs meal so we got that at the end. They agreed to take something off the bill as not enough time to replace; bill comes and its blue light discount applied (which I actually have one) so asked for that discount to be applied additionally; the girl on the bar upstairs HAD ATTITUDE. The technology just doesnt allow it) so no further discount and feeling a bit off that they gave us discount for cold food hidden as blue light. Then with all the huffing and not being able to do it we asked for service charge to be taken off; she grumbles yes. And then proceeds to charge the full amount anyway; had we not asked for receipt immediately it wouldnt have meant her calling her Manager up who gave the refund immediately. I had NO issue with this being resolved in a fair manner; but her attitude to the issue was terrible. That said the loaded fries (seperate bowl and piping hot) were delicious. But I wont be back.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with BARE Grills Smokehouse in Weston-super-Mare. After placing an order totaling £55, only half of our food arrived. When I contacted the restaurant to address the issue, they were completely unhelpful and dismissive, instructing me to take it up with the delivery driver instead. Despite the driver confirming that he only received one bag from the restaurant, BARE Grills Smokehouse refused to issue a refund, leaving me out of pocket with cold food. Their blatant lack of customer care and refusal to take responsibility is appalling. Given this experience, I can confidently say we will never be ordering from BARE Grills Smokehouse again. Its a disgrace to the town when businesses like this prioritize their profits over customer satisfaction. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs.

Came years ago and thought the food was exceptional, i was less impressed on my recent visit but still enjoyed - cool looking restaurant, staff were all excellent; very friendly with quick service. Worth the visit!!

Awesome awesomeness super Gurt lush but my eyes are bigger then my belly and ordered loads so couldn t finish it all . Nasty greasy food

Wandered along the sea front at Weston, spotted the Bare Grills sign, checked on line, made a reservation and 40 minutes later we were eating, great food, great place and amazing staff, they were also helpful and happy. Next time we are in Weston we ll be back. Food

We were one of those nightmare tables where half the party turned up late. The staff were fantastic and we were so grateful for how welcoming and understanding they were. The food was amazing. Everyone agreed we would definitely be back again.

I had heard this place was amazing. Honestly it was ok. Food quite pricey, nothing that makes it stand out. Wings disappointing, no boneless option. Go for the experience but I wont be rushing back Food

Arrived at 6.30 and didnt eat till nearly 8 o clock. When the food did arrive it was wrong and when it was corrected it was only just warm. There wasnt enough heat to make the cheese soft let alone melt it. The meat was dry and tasteless. If there wasnt any sauce on the burgers they wouldnt have had any taste at all. Unfortunately it wasnt an great experience. Other reviews are very positive so perhaps our experience was a one off?

Was able to grab a table without booking but very disappointed when I asked for no barbecue sauce and I got my burger with it on. Meaning I had to wait for them to recook my food while my wife ate hers. The music was to loud for me cant really have a conversation while having your meal. Food was good but a little to much fried onion on it.

Great food

Great food, something different from the normal chain pubs and restaurants, the food was amazing, and the portions are really good.

Unfortunately bare gills has gone slightly down hill with food taking over an hour and a half during dinner service and this happened on two separate occasions, drinks being forgotten after ordering and overall lack of service was terrible, the staff are friendly and kind of helpful when they are around but just felt like we were forgotten about and had to wait a very long time for sub-par food, the quality of the food being served has also declined from when they first opened everything was just a little over Cooked and dry. This restaurant used to be one of the top BBQ places in Weston now it just feels tired and worn out. Parking: Very little parking available near to the restaurant

Melody was absolutely amazing! I came here with my partner and he thought the same. Were not from here, were from Leicester. We travelled down for a day out and had no idea where to eat until we saw the reviews for here and decided to give it a go and Im so glad we did! Partners steak was cooked to perfection and was so tender that you could cut it with a butter knife and my burger and loaded fries were to die for! Will be returning asap. Had the Bacon Burger with chips and onion rings. This place is amazing. Best burger Ive ever eaten , and the onion rings were huge. Nice atmosphere and the staff were quick , friendly and helpful. Highly recommended .

What a great place! Went on Sunday. There was a mix up with the food. One dish came out a few minutes later, only a few minutes and they insisted on knocking the price off the bill. Amazing food!!!! Had smoked pulled pork and seasoned fries. It was delicious. They managed to squeeze the 2 of us in, even though we hadnt booked. I would recommend booking as they were really busy , it was about 6pm on a Saturday. Staff were very polite and friendly, Would definitely recommend

I had Food here the other day and it was immaculate, there were 2 chefs a young female and older gentleman both made my food to exquisite standards, my steak done by the female was one of the best I ve had in a while and I m very impressed. We used to rave about this place to all our friends as a few years ago it was our absolute favourite place to eat , a go to restaurant. While the food is still good it s not mind blowing like it used to be , it feels like the focus is on getting the food out faster instead of the attention to detail that used to go into it , it all used to feel like it was made with love and passion but the spark seems to have gone a bit, i would rather wait a bit longer for better quality. Steak was overcooked , the burnt ends were also not as good as before , Mac and cheese while good was not the right texture and the sauce was too runny, I had to send my burger back twice as I asked for it to be well done as I m pregnant and it came out twice still pink , third time it was correct. The dirty fries and burger once correct were on point and delicious also the shakes are amazing. It would be good to see the old Bare Grills reappear and have real passion again

Went to bare grills as I have heard nothing but great things but sadly left underwhelmed and will likely not be returning. Decided to go for a tower sharer. Brisket was like leather and was tasteless/cold. The same can be said for the ribs which were just awful cold and tough with no flavour.. my friend s burnt ends were like eating rubbers.. chicken wings dry and Mac n cheese overly runny. The only thing that was edible was the burgers and dirty fries which again wasn t anything too impressive. Kitchen appears to not have respect for the food they are serving as our order was constantly incorrect. I would like to point out that front of house staff were pleasant and sadly had to answer for the kitchens incompetence. Real shame

A huge piece of succulent chicken breast with the crunchiest of coatings and that rich buttermilk flavour. With sriracha Mayo and a properly decent piece of bacon as well as the burger salad trimmings in a brioche bun - this really hit the spot. We were starving after all that sea air and larking around on the beach so these were very quickly demolished. Arlo did find the sriracha a little bit spicy so I was more than happy to oblige and help him finish that off .. (there was a kids menu available but he insisted that s what he wanted ). With our burgers we ordered curly fries and corn on the cob - Arlo s choice! Beautiful in their simplicity and ample portions for us to share between us as the burger was the real hero. So happy to have found this restaurant amongst the usual sea front offerings - and already craving a taste and thinking about when we can next drive down to try more of this wonderful menu. Service was Swift and efficient, the venue had a great ambiance on a Sunday afternoon and pricing was very reasonable.

We have been to this place twice. The food is amazing here and the portions are very generous. Just wish we had a Bare Grills in Kent.

Booked a table for 9:15 on a Friday night as we walked through the door we were told we had 40 mins to eat and get out. Service was rushed I had to ask for a glass for my drink as one wasn t provided or asked about. This is certainly more like a McDonald s than a proper restaurant. Food

Absolutely loved coming here - definitely my kind of place, country music was on, plenty of JD and the atmosphere is very calm. We were served by a lovely girl called Alisha who went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect and as it should be - definitely well deserving of a tip and a well done from the boss. The food was delicious and just the right serving sizes; I went for the filthy pig with some fries and onion rings, while my friend went for the big combo meal - we both enjoyed ourselves and will definitely go back, and recommend to friends.

First time dining here (on 11/2/24) and we all thought the food was fantastic with generous portion sizes. We all had the steak and it was cooked to perfection, just how we asked for it. We didn t wait too long for our food either, despite them telling us it may take a while as they were busy. We appreciated them telling us this when ordering. Service from Melody was great and we ll definitely be back again. Thank you for making it an enjoyable experience :)

Waitress clearly new and clueless with no warmth or customer service skills. Forgot to bring things we d ordered and served a bottled real ale without a glass. When we asked for a glass she brought one which was absolutely filthy dirty! We couldn t believe it! Had to ask to change it and that just looked at it and searched for a clean one (which wasn t an easy task!). Food was ok but cheese dish was cold in the middle (couldn t be bothered to send it back) and had to wait for some things because the waitress got the order wrong! Still then tried to charge us for item not ordered. No apologies given for what was a pretty shabby service, in fact I m pretty sure they wouldn t even have realised it was poor service (clear lack of training). Staff sat around on mobile phones, chatting to people who just walked in to see them, and not very attentive. The toilets stank and you could smell it through the restaurant. It s safe to say we won t return back and am surprised they are still open if this is a regular occurrence. Very disappointed. Owner should be concerned!

Great food. Big portions...choose wisely! Can be cold in there, especially in the winter months so wrap up warm. Parking: Some street parking close by. There are a number of carparks in close walking distance. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible. No step. Always prebook and ask for a downstairs table if you have a wheelchair or issues with stairs. Booths are fine bit there is a step up. There are tables available downstairs with no step but some are benches.

Atmosphere has 3 stars because when me and my 2 young children went in we got seated and waited for food etc.. but the bloke who was like running the place constantly was swearing i didnt like that for my kids to hear. Swearing, laughing so loudly it was like a bunch of teenagers running the place. Music blaring. Very small restaurant and very hot inside !

Good food, but you need to order everything separately, so if you get a burger, thats all you get. The ribs were dry and not very good. The burger with pulled pork was nice. Would of been good to know about the chips etc before ordering. You need to order chips etc etc as a extra. If anything, its a little bit pricey.

We visited here as a family group to celebrate my sons birthday. After ordering, it took 45 mins for our meals to arrive. I must admit none of us were impressed with the quality or quantity of the food for the money paid especially as fries etc were extra if you ordered just a burger or hotdog. Ordering more drinks was difficult and the condiments requested as none were offered finally turned up when everybody had finished eating. The toilets were awful especially the mens which reeked and were full of water. Drinks whether alcoholic or soft were expensive too. I had a cranberry juice which tasted nothing like it and appeared diluted. The building lacked atmosphere and it felt like we were sat in a large wooden pallet on chairs salvaged from a 1980s abandoned school. All our party were extremely disappointed after reading all the rave reviews online in terms of both food and service. One of our party is a restaurant manager for a national catering company and was appalled by our experience. Needless to say, we wont be returning.

Bare grills its very nice burger shop tipi al american and foods are fresh and taste great quality. Prices are available. Staff very friendly. Worthy to visit on Weston.

Had to ask for table to be wiped soon as we sat. Staff all seemed a little tense and defensive. Acoustics awful and was echoey. Food dry, when pointed out to them we got no response. This place has amazing staff and the smell of the cooking enticed us in to book a table. 15 mins wait perfect. However Im so happy we ordered the platter to share, the disappointment was real I can honestly say I think the tastiest thing was the fried jalapeño peppers. The steak strip was tough as old boots and the coleslaw was watery and tasteless. The ribs cooked to almost perfection but tasted like bottled store bought bbq sauce. Chicken wings lovely and Crispy on the outside but no flavour on the inside. Fries were Im sure straight out of a packet from an Iceland store and although cooked perfectly again no real flavour. We smiled paid our bill, left a decent tip. But informed the rest our our coach trip party to not waste their money. I think they knew we did not enjoy the food as I said we ordered 1 platter as neither if us has a huge appetite but left more that half the platter untouched. We got fish and chips from a nearby shop. Tasty.

Watched my food being sat there waiting to be served for 8 minutes under a heatlamp so when I got it, it was kinda like warm and the onions had become chewy.

Friendly welcome and service from all staff there. Authentic decor which was welcoming. Food was amazing! The burnt ends where just amazing! Portions where good value for money. Definitely go back when im around next

What a place food was very good staff were friendly and professional

Our first time in here,we had heard good things ,so thought wed give it a try, service is good, food was not so good, my steak was fine, my wifes was not, it was supposed to be medium but was almost raw,and had to go back to be cooked,the waitress,a lovely young girl called Alicia handled this nicely and quickly,it did mean we could not eat together,but other than that everything else was fine,we will be go back and try again,as we enjoyed what we did have.A very busy restaurant,but plenty of friendly helpful staff to sort you out. A lot of swearing at one of the tables,which is not nice when youre with your wife,and there are children in ,but thats not really the restaurants fault, although they could ask for it to stop?All said and done ,we mostly enjoyed our visit and will go back soon.

Honestly, if you only have one night in Weston and need to eat, go here!! The food is insane! Soooo good! You will not be disappointed

Disappointing, we had hot dogs, chips and onion rings. The dogs and chips were just ok, but the onions rings were very greasy. Not value for money.

Not sure if I visited on the bad day, but for amount of money spent per person. Food lacked wow factor. Everything was fine and cooked but did not feel wowed by it. The grill certainly needed some sauce. The ribs were fantastic and to die for. I cant fault the food but certainly was missing something I cannot pin point.

Food was ok, had better. Ribs were dry and did not fall off the bone. Service was very slow, waited over 45 minutes for food to come out and waited so long for the bill we had to go and ask again for it. Only nice thing were the pulled pork dirty fries and the burger was ok, wouldnt go back.

Had a lovely meal, best steak Ive had in years, service was brilliant, good was excellent, would highly recommend!

Very rude stuff. And very unprofessional.

Would have no idea how good or bad the food was, as we were dumped at our table and left with the menus for 15-20 mins. No apology that they were busy, although they didn t seem to be, no offer of drinks while we waited, NOTHING! Waitresses walked by our table with no acknowledgment that we were there, so we had no option but to walk out!

Heavenly taste and the service is marvelous. Reasonable prices and cozy surroundings. Variety of wine and drinks would definitely make you feel great. First time tasting a pulled poke dish.

Delicious burger! My partner had the ribs and they were also great.

My partner and I enjoyed the Monster Dog and Smoked Pork Ribs, with 2x milkshakes at Bare Grills. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the meat was very tender and tasted of good quality. Fries were well seasoned and you cant go wrong with Corn on the Cob. The Crispy Onions the Hot Dog came with were delicious! Both shakes were absolutely delicious! Overall the food and drinks were fantastic. The only thing that let this place down a little was the cleanliness. The menus were very grubby, and the desert menu, which was printed on paper, was very crinkled and had food over it. It wasnt a great first impression, and the place could do with an overall clean. But, despite this, we would definitely recommend this place, staff were friendly and food was tasty!

The food was really good but the music was a bit too loud.

Great restaurant. Food was delicious and was very impressed with the menu and waiter. I have a sight impairment and commented how good the menu font and layout was. The waiter explained the menu was designed to be accessible and that they are currently working on a audio menu! 5 star for being so inclusive.

Amazing thought the chips were something else, then we hit the bbq tower,my god too much too list but it was all the best weve had by far. I can eat but was beaten today. (says for 2 but could feed 3 easy, only 2 burgers then though but like i said feed 3 easy). Says it all when they have takeaway bags because they Know how much food they serve. Please come to Swansea.

Food and service were excellent, we ate early so atmosphere 4 stars as it was a little quiet. Jordan and Alisha were our hosts for the evening and looked after us very well. Kid-friendliness: No problem, kids of all ages welcomed
