Great service and food! Definitely try the mango smoothie! I still get goosebumps just thinking about the last one.
Don't let the outward appearance keep you from visiting this place! The food was delicious and the menu looked great! I ordered a burger since we were about to travel to Central FL, and I wasn't in the brave sorts to order anything with beans and rice. 😅 But if their food is anything like that burger, I'll be back for more! The seasoning on the burger was SO delicious!! It was cooked to perfection and was soft and juicy and fresh tasting! The "pink" sauce on it was delicious! Even my mom's hot dog was amazing! The service was great, and even the environment felt like a comfortable mom and pop restaurant. We got the special deal and with 2 drinks, 2 basket of fries, burger and hot dog, the entire meal cost right around $20 before tip! By far, way better than a fast food $10 meal! Before you head north on Alligator Alley, stop here and grab a quick bite to enjoy. The entire trip was great because I was still full and satisfied from the food!
I enjoyed and excellent expresso to start the meal. For my entree I got the fried mojarra with rice salad and sweet plantain. This was excellent as well. If you’re headed up north on 75 I would recommend grabbing a great meal here before going up alligator alley where choices are slim.
Las Rikuras De Weston is a hidden gem with a fantastic vibe! Came here with my coworkers for lunch break. The food is amazing – I had the whole fried snapper with sweet plantains, and it was incredibly flavorful and a great portion for the price. The restaurant gets really cold, so being a sweater. However, the service could use some improvement. Our server wasn't very attentive and didn't go over the menu or understand menu-related questions well, likely because he only spoke Spanish. Additionally, we had some issues with the payment process. We were splitting the bill across four separate checks, with one using Apple Pay. Unfortunately, the server wasn't paying attention and ended up charging the total amount to three cards without asking. Despite these hiccups, the overall experience was positive thanks to the delicious food and inviting atmosphere. Just be sure to double-check your bill if you're splitting it.
This was an unplanned stop. Getting drowsy due to driving, so we stopped for gas and something to eat at about 8 PM. We had never eaten Columbian, but it was a true delight. We went with the Hamberguesa Especial + Francesas. Special hamburger with beef AND chicken + fries. The food was great; very tasty. The menu was both in Spanish and English. There were MANY choices. The service lady was very nice, patient and friendly. The food came really quickly. Seemed like a favorite stop for the police too...there were 3 dining there while we were there. The bathrooms were well-kept.
This is such a hidden gem! We stopped for gas after leaving Miami and did a search for restaurants. Las Rikuras De Weston was literally next door. The food was absolutely delicious! We had tamales, pork chop, empanada and Arepa. Had enough for dinner as well. Definitely owe it to your stomach to eat here!
I have been a regular customer of this restaurant for the past 4+ years. In general the food was very good when we started ordering here, and the service was as expected. However, in the last years this place is losing its touch. Not only the food is getting worse and worse, but the service is the worst. Just today, I ordered a "parrillada de carne" for taking out. When I arrived home, there was not beef (carne). I called immediately to report the problem. Even though they gave me the beef, they made me feel like I was stealing from them because according to them they put the meat in. Look your recording, guys! Looking forward for a genuine apology. On the other hand, as you can see in the pictures confirming the lack of beef plus the arepa was all burnt, yellow potatoes were rancid. At the end only the beef was very good.
food is good but the service is not. waitress doesn't come back to check on you or refill water or ask if any other drinks needed. treat this place like an in and out. don't have high expectations.

The worst experience, I felt like I was blatantly robbed, I ordered a small soup to go that doesnt cost more than $5 in any restaurant and they charged me $10.17 for a small container of soup without any companion. And the worst of all was the attitude of the lady who served me, when I asked her why that price she answered that that was what it cost and that next time I should ask the price before ordering. Awful!!!! I dont recommend it at all, they are thieves.

Well, an order for Uber eats. They confirmed me and the delivery time was 30-40 minutes. After 30 minutes this restaurant canceled the order (not Uber) without any explanation. Thats super frustrating if youre thinking about getting your food when they told you, think carefully before ordering here. I tried calling the number and they didnt answer either! I have screenshots of everything. Not good at all!!!

Tonight I ordered 3 breaded chicken because Im sure the sole of the chefs shoe is softer than what I bought. A real lack of respect. I dont know if they changed the owner or the cook but it was really horrible. Never more!!
The restaurant is very small and lighting is a bit dark. My family and visited this place twice, the first time was better & second time the food wasnt so good. Pan de Bono was cold inside as if they took it out of the freezer and heated it up, it wasnt freshly baked. Tostones was soft and not fried crispy. The service wasnt as good as our first visit. Im a bit disappointed as I was hoping that this place would be our go to spot for Columbian cuisine in Weston.

I asked for rice and chicken. I expressed that I was having stomach issues recently and just needed some grilled chicken breast cooked with nothing and plain rice. The rice had a bit of a weird smell to it so I asked the lady if the rice was fresh. She said yes, done today. At the end of my meal she brought a new rice for me to try, this one was actually fresh. The one I had was definitely not. I should have trusted my judgement. Las Rikuras lost a customer today. Im never going back to this negligent place where they give me old rice.

I been to the restaurant at lest 3 times and I have to say the service is lacking . They take for ever to bring you the bill. There is only 2 waitresses and they can t no keep up with the front register, to go orders, and the tables. They desperately need one more person.

Terrible experience at Las Rikuras my wife and daughter ordered a parrilla criolla and I ordered a picahna. My food came and my wife and daughter kept waiting for half hour for their food. I called the waitress and she was like oh I didnt put in the order did you guys ordered something else. Then they had to wait another half hour for the parrilla to be ready.

I had lunch on a Wednesday, Menu of the Day. An extremely bad Carrot Soup. And a plate of smoked cutlet, rice and salad. Tasteless and bad. Very friendly staff. I suggest you change the Menu. And learn to make soup.

Customer service, the food, the juices were horrible, no one asked us if we needed anything else, the box where they gave me my hotdog had a mosquito. Everything was terrible. I would come back or recommend anyone to eat here.

The most mentally disabled people in Weston work here... Theres no way theyll ever get my order right... 3 times they made the same sandwich wrong, Ive never seen anything like that in my life. The food is good, the take out service is horrible. If it werent for the food I would never go to that place.

Small, cozy place. The girls that serve are friendly and customer oriented. The Colombian empanadas are marvelous! They have enough filling and the flavor of the meat one is delicious; the cheese empanada is really full of cheese!. Lots of candies and snacks from Colombia as well as sodas. Gotta have a Postobón cola and for dessert, torta vinada. For those interested in having lunch, they have specials and you can order through GrubHub.
Typical Colombian food, well attended and good food
I found this place while looking for something different in the area. Man, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff that translated the menu for me. Not being Hispanic, I didnt know what some items were. When my food came, it was better than expected and a sizeable portion too I have been back several times and I have never had a bad meal or experience there.

Driving thru to the gulf coast and stoped for lunch. The bandeja paisa was good, the special of the day was okay, breaded chicken breast, white rice, French fries, and a chicken soup. The soup was good, the rest was not Colombian at all. The prices for for was okay, the bill adds up when you order the juices, juices are really big you can do 1 small pitcher for 2, the juices and limonada was good.

Delicious, they serve very nice and the food is of good quality.... EDIT: Understaffed... Big time Understaffed... A single guy doing an excellent job with more than half of the tables full with very little... The poor guy, takes orders, prepares drinks, serves food, attends to go... hes not worth it!!

This was my first time at Rikuras. I went specifically for a side of rice and beans but when I got home the beans looked like they opened a can of beans and warmed them up. No flavor and watery. I also ordered the arepa with carne desmechada was excellent and the front desk girl was awesome. Please improve your red beans!!!
Simply amazing. Best breaded chicken ive had in a loooooooong while. Service was quick and food came out fast and hot. Food comes out just how my mom used to make it in Colombia. Compliments to the night time cooks, they never let me down.

Service was awful. Waited about 20 minutes at the register for help. Was ignored then only helped when I started grumbling loudly. Should ve taken a hint and left but I was in vacay and super hungry. Food was okay. I got empanadas and arepas. Very bland and dry.

How stupid I was to not open the packaging while I was at the restaurant. How disgusting is a ham and cheese sandwich inside a hot dog bun and the worst thing is that everything is cold and they didnt even heat the bread. As if the fact that they cant use Cuban bread wasnt disgusting enough! It was the minimum for Gods sake. This Is the trashiest service I have ever received why is a ham and cheese sandwich inside a hotdog bun why is everything cold! you could have at least pressed the sandwich so that my cheese is melted. If you ran out of Cuban bread let your customers know dont just use the first thing you find inside some cabinet this bread is probably expired based on the quality you provide please do better I spent 20 minutes to waste my time. Highly disappointed.
The chicharrones are the best in town, the chicharrones are the best in Weston, I really like almost everything in that restaurant, they serve you giant jugs of fruit juices, anyway recommended

Las Rikuras has really great, authentic Colombian food. My 7yo loves the hot dog- its prepared with little fries and special sauce just like in Colombia. The cantina (or weekly food order) is a great deal. You get lots of food for a low price. When we anticipate having a very busy week, I order cantina for the week and pick up dinner daily. The entree usually comes with a soup and 1 meal can easily feed 2 people. Every Friday the special is bandeja Paisa. Even our picky toddler likes the food. You wont be disappointed!
The food is extremely good, authentic and delicious. Great atmosphere and the people there are very nice. Every time my wife and I head to my Miami, we always make sure to stop and eat there. We enjoyed the food.
