Here at la Perla we work hard everyday to exceed the expectations and allow you to feel like you are spending a day in Peru. With our array of options you can choose between many traditional dishes. We have a combination of outstanding food and excellent service so you can enjoy your visit to the fullest and feel at home. Ceviches and much more!!! Come Enjoy!!!
Attention attention! This is a real Peruvian restaurant owned and operated by Peruvians. I love La Perla. I am so annoyed with Colombian restaurant owners who operate fake Peruvian restaurants in South Florida, Bogota and Medellin. Colombians should stop with their fake Peruvian themed restaurants and fake Mexican restaurants.
The service was awesome! Juan took great care of us. The food was delicious, and the service was fast and polite. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a visit!
Really good food, the crew is very nice, pizco sour is a must
Amazing everything. Delicious flavors, amazing flavors. Ceviche mixto was incredible. Corvina Flambé was amazing. Everyone loved their meal and everything was perfect and arrived quickly.
The food was excellent, seasoned on point. The drinks are great. Their appetizers are also good. We were lucky to go in before rush hour, so our food was out fairly quick. It’s located in a strip mall, and it’s the corner store.
This place is absolutely fantastic. What an amazing dining experience. The food - Phenomenal. Walking into the restaurant the smell of good food was in the air. The Red Sangria was actually good! I was pleasantly surprised and the service of the entire staff most of all our waiter Jorge was top notch! Indoor & Outdoor seating is available. Family friendly plenty of menu options for adults to choose from and a kids menu as well. Recommendations: leche de tigre ceviche (get it spicy - it's soo good), the Peruano ceviche, Shrimp arroz chaufa, Steak Saltado (medium) and sweet plantains (maduros). See pictures!
Last time I had an authentic Peruvian ceviche was in NYC and couldn’t find anything alike in Florida until I came across this restaurant. The food is amazing and there absolutely no doubt about it, my only concern was the service. For a restaurant with food this good the service I received was not up to part, our server made the experience an 8/10, I had to call on him as it seems that he just forgot about us or didn’t care to check in on the table. Overall I recommend this restaurant for its food and ambiance.
What a great place to eat fish food and everything else! First time we went and not the last one for sure. Affordable prices, fresh food, exquisite plate presentation, and great service. The ambience is very comfortable with a touch of elegance. Highly recommended. A very nice place to eat alone, with your partner, friends, or your entire family.
Absolutely amazing food and service. Will go back as often as I can.
The food is not great and the service is average. Some to improve. . The food is not great and the service is average. Something to improve.
Good Peruvian restaurant. Great Lomo Saltado and Jakea.
Very good food and excellent service
All very excellent
Great service and the food is amazing
Our favorite Peruvian Food Restaurant! We have been coming for many years and never disappoint
Total disappointing experience with my plate Ceviche Callao. I recently dined at this place last nite I found it licking artificial flavor, so I asked for some salt when the waitress returned with my plate, I noticed they added what tasted like artificial lemon juice instead of fresh. It completely ruined the dish for me also to make matters worse, I was still charged for my plate that I didnt eat it. Overall, it was a frustrating experience in my first time. I hope they can talk w the 2 cheffs and improve their dishes in the future.
Quiet and sober place. Decent food, but doesnt live up to the Peruvian food reputation
Great food, and really nice service.
Our server Juan was very helpful and did an amazing job! The food was very good. I recommend it
One of the best Peruvian eateries in Broward
Years of going to this restaurant, it never disappoints us!
Its not the prettiest place you can find but the food is excellent . The staff is very attentive and the chef takes great care in the preparation.
Unfortunately, this restaurant isnt what it used to be. Im not sure if its gone through a management change or something. The service wasnt the worst, but it wasnt good either. The worst part of it all is the automatic gratuity (18%). I think this is a mistake as there is no incentive to provide good service. What used to be one of my families staples has turned into an overpriced underwhelming dining experience. I hope they straighten up, although I dont think Ill be returning anytime soon.
Best Perúvian food
I loved it, we ate the chaufa rice and the rice with seafood and they were exquisite
Delicious food, pretty presentation, generous portions & great service. Amazing overall. Thanks!
My friend made reservations. Upon arrival, we were greeted very friendly and escorted to our table. They place was very nice and clean. Our waiter was good, food arrived in a time matter.
Excellent service
The food is great! Real Peruvian food. Big poetions Vegetarian options: Seviches, Parking: In front od the restaurant Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible
Excellent site, for me it doesnt fail. I have come about 5 times and each time they impress me more. You cant leave without trying the ceviche
wonderful food.
Great, delicious ceviche!
Lunch combo 2 was great
Did not like this place. Food was not great, service was bad. Atmosphere was like eating from a fritanga. Would not come back and I don t recommend this place.
Great Food
Always delicious
Lunch especial
Spectacular site. The attention and food 10/10. Very good music. There was a super professional singer last night.
The sample platter was terrible I went last Thrusday , the ceviche was cold no flavor the causa cold and the shrimp inside ice cold we told the server but nothing we pay and left is the first time in that place thats was terrible.
Good sea food
We found a blue rubber band in the food (arroz Chaufa) and a piece of plastic in my Ceviche. Disgusting.
Amazing place, delicious food and amazing staff
I called for a delivery, the person who served me was spectacular, the food was normal but my boyfriend almost lost his teeth, in the rice with seafood we found some very small white clams that could not be seen, they were almost confused with the rice, I write this for the precaution of other consumers
Great Peruvian restaurant. I loved their chicken saltado and causa de pollo
The best Peruvian restaurant in Broward without a doubt!!
I ate churrasco a lo pobre, I requested medium. The worst meet no flavor and chewy.. not luck today with the chef
EDIT. I was at La Perla yesterday and was disappointed. The traditional ceviche was not good. I had a soup which was ok. The food portions are still generous but I won t be back. Embarcadero 41 is a better choice.
The true flavor of Peru, very tasty and very well executed recipes, great experience, I recommend it without a doubt
Great food and service. If you want really Peruvian high class food, this is the place to go.
I have been going to La Perla for years now and it has never disappointed me. Their seafood Jalea and Pescado a lo Macho are my favorite. Chicha morada is excelent and their desserts too. It has become a little pricey over the years. Service is alway A+.
The chicha was very delicious and the food I ordered is the pearl sampler 100% recommended. Parking: Full wide
We ordered Chaufa Especial and it was delicious, the atmosphere and service were good.
Great ceviche
A very nice place
Nice place, good atmosphere. Excellent service.
Took a much needed wkd. vacation from NYC. This place is on point!!! We tried few dishes to share/taste. Stellar aroma and tastes filled our taste buds and pallets; remincint of so many hidden treasures in Peru. I am half Peruvian, and my mom, from Chile, was a cook for some celebrities too! We are no strangers to the exemplary delicacy of cuisine that Peruvian food offers! Enjoyed: Lomo Saltados smoky flavor, Ceviche, Leche de Tigre (Would go back just for this)!! Choritos a la Chalaca, Aguadito y Chicharon de Puerco. These were some of our favorite foods. Attention was just that - they were attentetive, helpful and very friendly. Refreshing to experience - THANK YOU to all at the restaurant! I dont necessarily do reviews however, when a hidden gem is found - it is worthy and worth sharing!! Highly recommend, planning on my next trip back - as A Must Go Back!!
I never thought I would give a bad review here on the pearl of Weston, but the ceviche I ordered through Uber Eats was so delicious, it wasnt good at all. I felt a lot of the acid in the ceviche to speed up the ceviche cooking. I didnt feel Not at all the lemon or salt or anything that tastes like ceviche, my boyfriend ordered jelly and he gave me a little of his squid chicharron so that it tastes a little delicious but the squid looked like chewed gum but those hard ones, ps bad experience I called to give constructive criticism and wait for some offer or some solution because I spent 19 dollars on that ceviche and ps he didnt tell me anything about solutions and whats more, the same manager hung up on me I think its important to put this review not out of anger but so that you He knows about ceviche and he likes the taste of real ceviche. PS dont buy ceviche there!
A lot of good options to eat... the sampler dish and the Jalea are delicious
Dry beef, average neither good nor bad. The regular Aji de Gallina. The big disappointment was the ceviche, garlic flavor, overcooked and heavy, very poor quality, dry, I ordered it extra spicy and they didnt make it....
Everything very good
Pleasant and family atmosphere. Excellent food, good service from Samy. Recommended.
I usually go here in small parties but this time around it was 10 of us. The service was not good. We had to ask for things 3-4 times before they finally bring it. Too slow. I think os because they incluede the tip in big parties, so they dont care.
What a great meal, the seafood saltado was great, highly recommend!
Thank you La Perla. Ever since we tried your food, we havent stopped talking about it. 1. A little pricey 2. Food flavors and presentations are amazing, & Service as well. 3. There is not a long wait to sit or to serve you, and 4. Worth the long drive. We had a good time. | Sharing & Recommending
Great taste and good service all the time!!!!
Excellent option for Peruvian food! Congrats
So the atmosphere is good but the food is even better with a little bit of spice to every bite. Each plate is decorated fancy such as the kid menu Alfredo and the Salsa de malecos but overall 10/10 good service and good food
Amazing peruvian food, everything we tried was exquisite.
Best Aguadito!!
This has become our Peruvian restaurant of choice until today. The ceviche is usually top notch but today it was very bitter. The lemon destroyed the plate and all they had to say was we change providers . It s a shame because the food here is usually really good.
Amazing food and service. Best fried fish I ever had. Definitely recommend.
Never order fried wonton. Ask, do you have fried wonton? Yes they answered. How many come in each order? 6 answered . When I got home they were chip???!!! Yes chips in the shape of triangles The rice was more or less chaufa and the red noodles with chicken chicharrón menu was red noodles with frozen chicken nuggets!!!!! The ceviche was good
Great food, and value. Loved the ambiance of the patio space.
Its ok, nothing to write home about.
Outstanding! Food and service was amazing! We had the fried red snapper! Wow, Delicious and fulfilling! Coming back soon for sure Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free and lactose feee options! Parking: Plenty of spots to safely park Kid-friendliness: Your kids will love the many fresh sea food options
The delicious food
The food is delicious here. The service is great as well. We had the ceviches and lomo which tasted great. I live 30 minutes away and I will drive there even if took us longer to get there. The flavor of every food served here is authentic. The drinks are very nice too. The desserts can improve. The Picarones were not very good. The have tables outside and inside.
Giving it 4 stars because the service has always been good here but for some reason every time I order the conchitas a la parmesana they always come out raw. I don t mind eating raw when it comes to sushi but this isn t sushi. It s a baked scallop with cheese that should be cooked when it reaches the table. This is probably the 3rd time I ve ordered this appetizer from the handful of times I ve been here to dine and always the same issue. I always return them so they can recook a little more but I feel like they stick in the microwave lol maybe not it s just my thought. But I wished the food came out cooked how we order it. other than that very good food options and the service is good.
Amazing flavor, good amount and to Go containers are great the way they put all together
Great food and drinks
Awesome place. Delicious fish, amazing fried calamari!!!
Nothing unusual tipical Peruvian cuisine
Its ok
Excellent staff and excellent service and excellent MEALS
Bad experience, not fresh food
I had not been here in a long time. Food was not the same as it used to be. Lomo Saltado meat was not tender. The flavor is different. Did something change? New cook, new management? What changed?
I had a very uncomfortable experience yesterday. I have visited this restaurant several times because I believe it offers pretty decent food. Yesterday 3 out of 4 main dishes that we ordered were tasteless, we couldnt finish with first 2, so I asked for ají de gallina (pretty simple plate, it is hard to be wrong with it), and I had to ask for salt. I may say that causa limeña was good, as well as chicha morada and crema volteada (desert). When I asked the ají de gallina, I told the waiter about how bad the food was. Then right before living (bill of course was already paid), I emphasize waiter about the quality of the food. Basically because I wanted to come back. My surprise was that someone that is supposed to be the owner or the manager approached my table and told me two things that were inappropriate: 1. She told me that probable I like food with more salt than normal people. This means she didnt understand the difference between low salt and tasteless. 2. She told me to go somewhere else if I dont like the food. I told her that I have visited the restaurant several times but yesterday food was tasteless. Im sad... basically because I couldnt understand what was the objective of coming to my table and making me feel so uncomfortable with my family next to me. It would have been so much easier to approach and say: Im sorry that you didnt like food, I promise next time it will be much better. That message would have reinforced my idea to come back. Instead, I promise I wont.
Very fresh and tasty!
The best ceviche and Peruvian foods. Everything delicious. Incredible and unmissable place
It has the facilities, the place, the staff and all the possibilities to make it one of the best places for Peruvian food, however I must tell the truth and if it is bad it is not the best either... The food tastes like more American food than Latin food or more. specifically Peruvian, we hope in the future if we visit it again it has improved all aspects...
New find for us and will add it to our repertoire of good places to eat. Great Peruvian food....
Really good place
Hollyshit!! I found my Peruvian restaurant hidden in Weston Florida. My lord I ll star with the cheesecake with maracuyá (passion fruit) never knew it existed but dear lord it was amazing. Next the CHAUFA rice mix steak, shrimp and chicken to die for the portions are hardy so share lol. Now the Ceviche was HELL YESSSS. The actual sauce made in was the topping in my rice am a fat boy trapped in a wanna be runner teenager lol service was great we sat outside with this amazing weather yup it was raining that didn t stop me lol ambiance awesome environment family oriented that s for sure.
Delicious! Traditional Peruvian food. The lomo saltado was on point. The seco de Res was delicious, but I would of like the beef to be a bit more tender. Service and staff were thoughtful, courteous and very professional. A+ for them. Parking: Strip mall style parking, plenty of it. Kid-friendliness: Entrees are sized on the bigger side. Ok for kids to split.
Frozen food . Cau Cau was hot in top and freezing inside and in the button. Anticuchos not very good clean, with the skin and veins , and hard as a rock. Disgusting!!! My son in law order Aji de Gallina , and after two bites , he left the plate almost intact. My grandaughter order , tallarines Verdes and told me , that the one that her mom made , are alot better. The restaurant used the green Pesto that is sold in Publix . Honestly , was a disaster the all meal. The waiting for the food terrible and serve the table for parts , when some are done with their meal , others still waiting. Worst experience for the occasion. Verguenza deberia darle a los duenos y al personal del restaurant. Never again. My recommendation, look for a better place , this is one of the worst.
Very good taste of the food and service
Delicious Peruvian food, nice presentation, large portions, great service: fast and attentive staff, indoor and outdoor seating, and reasonable prices. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent food very good staff worth going to eat delicious
Great tasting Peruvian food. Its better than another Peruvian that we visit in the Orlando area.A bit pricey but you get a lot of food.
THE BADEST THING IVE EVER EAT, I HAD A HAIR THE CAUSE I ASKED FOR!! AND THE FOOD TASTE LIKE OLD!! I LIKED THE FOOD VERY BADLY!! AND VERY EXPENSIVE BY TASTE!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK !!!!
The Lomo saltado and the noodles saltado are red onion. A few days ago I passed by after a long time and I found this surprise, I should have returned it to the kitchen but I was with foreign friends who didnt want them to feel uncomfortable. I hope you take my comment into account.
Great outdoor covered seating. Live music and great food! You ve got to go and try the ceviche.
Food was amazing. A lot came on the plate so it was worth every penny will be coming back soon.
We really enjoyed the food, it s very clean and the design is nice. Even the bathroom was well maintained. The AC was quite cold, and we felt a little rushed with picking up our plates (if there s still food in our plates - I don t want you to ask me if I want a box. When I m don t I ll let you know, let me enjoy my experience in my own pace). Gratuity was added (18%) to a our bill, table of 4. Be aware when / if tipping.
Excellent service, thank you Jorge, your attention was super special, it made us feel very well cared for
Right expectation in temperature and taste of foods ordered .
We went to the restaurant, I told the waiter that the food did not taste good since the oil was old and they had not changed it for days and he had no answers nor an apology nor did the manager come to tell us anything, the flavor is not that rich. I wouldnt go back again since the food is not of quality.
It is a clean place..very fresh its food and very friendly those who serve us...
Amazing food! Excellent! Fresh! I would eat there every day! Kid-friendliness: Great Food : 5/5 |
100/100
Great outside Sunday seating. Service was great and relaxing! Ceviche was fresh, and all other dishes tasty. Shouldnt be disappointed folks!
The worst birthday dinner I had, the waiters service was good but he has to pay attention to the details of the customers, especially in these situations. We ordered salted noodles, but they changed the burnt meat, it was still salty. The anticucho, the meat was tough, my daughter doesnt like to say anything out of shame, and she took it all home. The cau cau, that tripe looked like they had taken it from the cow and cooked it without washing it. We ordered the churrasco medium rare and it is well done. The manager or the chef never came to the table, not even the delicacy of celebrating a birthday. An ugly experience, this restaurant has been in decline for years, I have been coming to this restaurant and it was a failure this time.
Just want to say Thank You to the Chef Pamela We had an excellent time and the waiter Enrique gave us an amazing service. The food was excellent. Will be back really soon.
Have your Piscojito, that drink is not to be missed, a delight, a good place to eat and enjoy
Best peruvian restaurant!
I love visiting Peruvian restaurants looking for the flavor of my land. The food is quite acceptable, the atmosphere is super active with live music and the reception staff is super attentive!!!!
I went yesterday with a friend for dinner, this was my first in the restaurant. Both ordered churrasco, I ordered it with green salad and potato. For our surprise the food came to the table literally in 5 minutes or less. Of course the steak was already cooked and they heated it up a little bit, the potatoes were not fully cooked, they were also reheated, this is inaceptable. All the restaurants prepare the meals at the time people ordered. The food was terrible, this was my first time in La Perla Weston and the last one. Esto no es tolerable ir a comer a un restaurante y la comida que se sirvan sea recalentada, como es posible que un churrasco medium este cocinado en menos de 5 minutos. Terrible servicio y terrible comida, todo frio.
For a quick stop this place dis the trick. The drinks were done well. Food was also tasty. Service was ok but we were low maintenance so I guess it was fine. Id come again. Kid-friendliness: Its a family oriented type of establishment. A night out with well behaved kids will be fine. Wheelchair accessibility: The tables can accommodate for wheelchair accessibility.
We have come in the past and will continue to come in. Place is great and food is good as well
Great ceviche and great pisco sours
The food was nicely presented, and the flavors were on point. Didnt have to wait long. Coming back!!!
We as a family don t hesitate about visiting La Perla again, again and again lost count simply perfect. Location, venue, service and ambiance. My kids love the menu and will strongly recommend ceviche mixto and Lomo salteado. Thank you for everything and will see you soon again..
Why push your patrons (table for2) to sit outside or wait when there are many empty tables inside and no one waiting, It has happened to us twice here and this time we decided to leave and eat at Vignettos Italian which is in the same center. Glad we left, Vignettos never disappoints.
Good food but Not enough variety in the menu, spetcially on appetizers.
Best food and service ,great price as well
The food was great and the menu offered a lot of options. The service was good too and the music was lively while not being loud.
Food and atmosphere are ok. But we were charged 18% gratuity on a party of 4. And the receipt had an additional space for a gratuity (additional gratuity) which most people would have taken it as a place to put a tip, so we would have tip double. The waiter showed us that it was store policy, written in tiny letters at the bottom of the back page of the menu. Never seen anything like it for a party of four. It s an outrage. This is not even a touristy place by the beach. It s a restaurant located in an upscale neighborhood in SW Broward.
I always come back to this place, food is great and the service from all of the employees do not disappoint. Excellent!
All good, this is my local Peruvian restaurant, food is great always
Unmatched staff, food and customer service
Not goot food and they want add 30% tips in account, is no rignt for this place
Delicious Peruvian food!!
Great House wine. Solid Ceviche.
Excellent place for family enjoyment, with super exquisite food and excellent service
Our first time here.We ordered the Sampler Platter Ceviche, Char Grilled Octopus,Calamari /Fish and And item very unique and tasty dont remember the name. Everything was delicious!!! Will definitely be back. Food : 5/5
Great!
Very well attended
I grew up going here and used to love it. No clue what happened but the quality has gone way down. Such a bummer!
Ive been coming here for over 10 years. My wife is peruvian and we both love peruvian food, and this restaurant has the best peruvian food in the area. Weve had lomo saltado, seco de res, tacu tacu, aji de gallina, causa, choros a la chalaca, and a few other dishes. All the dishes are excellent and do not disappoint. In recent years Ive just been doing takeout from here rather than dine-in, so I cant speak to the atmosphere of dining in much, though it seems fine for that too. Since Ive become a regular, the service and attention I receive is outstanding -- they treat me very well. Im a happy repeat customer, and hope others enjoy this place and their food as much as I do.
Excellent Peruvian restaurant
Solid neighborhood Peruvian restaurant. Anticuchos and special fried rice are delicious
Our food and service were excellent. We had a sampler with a variety of their dishes that was excellent that included ceviche, octopus, causa, and sushi. I had the lunch stir fry special. So much food. Huge portions. I highly recommend this restaurant. Enjoy!
Delicious food, atmosphere, service. Parking: Im the front Kid-friendliness: Outside seating Wheelchair accessibility: Easy
Not the quality of Peruvian food l had before
Everything is excellent but very expensive
Very expensive
This restaurant has very delicious food, their fish fillets are nice and their juices are very flavorful. The service was great as well and theres a lot of good seating options. Overall, it was a great experience.
Standard Peru oan food. My wife likes the causas of this restaurant in particular.
I was in Weston La Perla, the food was very bad, I ask to talk with the chef and the service told that it is not possibly and ask for the manager and told cant eather, I pay all price $55 but the food has a lot salt and was terribly. Just the service was good. I dont want back, I spent money to be sick with my stomach. Bad plan!! I was at La Perla in Weston, the food was terrible, my meat had excessively salt and I got sick with my stomach for a couple of days, I paid $55 for a dish that I did not eat, the waiter was friendly and when I asked to speak to the cook he told me No Maybe and the manager didnt help me either. I dont recommend returning. My experience was terrible. The people there are not responsible for the food. If I could I would put 0 stars.
