DelVecchio's Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant in Weston

Walked in for a slice, 2 pies on display, both with 2 slices that looked from yesterday, so I asked the experienced pizza business boy, any FRESH pizza he answered, what, huh.

Hours are wrong and customer service for pickup was rude.

Excellent place for pizza and Italian cuisine.

Antipasto salad was good Enjoyed the Sicilian pizza.

I m not a pizza lover but have eaten it all over including NY that people says has the best pizza. BUT!!!! I had the lasagna pizza here and I m hooked!!!!!! When I say HOOKED. The best pizza I ve had in my life. Life changing lol definitely going back. Very nice staff. Quick service!

The pizzas we ordered were sooo good and the garlic knots were so French and tasty! We ordered over the phone for pickup and our order was ready and hot in the designated time.

Do not order from these people. The food is overrated and extremely over priced and the lady Cecilia answering the phones took 19 minutes to take my order for two pies and a two liter. Had to repeat my information multiple times. I was very nice and patient. After ALLLLL that time wasted she then tells me she is not sending her driver because the $5 tip WASNT ENOUGH to deliver LITERALLY across the street. I don t leave reviews but this experience was that bad!! La torretta has better pizza and way better service. Enzo s too!

My mom & I visit Weston every year and always make DelVecchios one of our stops. We usually eat there at least 2xs during the week of our stay. Weve never had a problem until our last visit a few weeks ago. The young man behind the front counter continuously played with his hair, running his fingers through his hair and flipping it around on both occasions during our visits. The second day we stopped he continued to play with his hair and then make and serve food. Then he and the young lady whose hair was very long and not tied back were making pizza up at the front counter. Neither of these individuals were wearing hair nets, hats or had the hair pulled back. This was very unprofessional and unsanitary. We were very disappointed in this visit. Please do better!

Anytime I am in Weston I stop by and get a pie. Best pizza in this part of town.

Pizza was overcooked. Crust was like cardboard. Called to complain and tapped the crust over the phone so they could hear how hard it was. Good pizza supposed to be soft so it can be folded. THEY DID NOT CARE. NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY. They do not even deserve the 1 star

I saw an employee pick up a piece of pizza with her bare hand to warm in the oven before serving. Vegetable pizza slice I had, vegetables were more raw than I would have liked.

The worst minestrone soup I ever had. They make us wait for 25 minutes for a soup that taste like water. Not even beans in the soup. I feel rudely scammed. Food

I had Leos minestrone, and it was terrific. Very flavorful, no watered down soup here. We also had a few slices which were very good also. The staff was prompt and friendly. Very clean restaurant, including the bathroom.

This is a long standing Weston staple offering classic Italian food and NY style pizza. Highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a great slice of pizza for a good price. The restaurant itself lacks seating, but it s okay, pizza is better enjoyed on the couch at home. Highly recommend this location.

Great local pizza joint that s been around for ages! Loved the pizza and stromboli we ordered recently. The pizza crust is my favorite part honestly. The delivery lady was also very nice!

Went to try a new place other than Enzos Pizza. We ordered salad and pizza. Question the cleanliness of the employees as we sat. Salad and pizza came within 5 minutes... Pizza was obviously not made fresh! When attempting to take a slice it seemed more like pizza toppings on spaghetti than pizza dough! The pizza did taste ok but... Recommendation - ask for crust work done!

My family and I come here at least once a month because we love the food! The garlic rolls, pizzas, and pastas are all delicious! We drive all the way from Kendall so that says alot. We always sit at an outside table because I bring my yorkie along. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful. Lisa is so sweet. Her table service is A+.

The times I went were an excellent and top quality experience. I highly recommend it the tomato sauce was delicious. I am sorry to read current opinions where they say that the service has deteriorated, I hope it improves, because I remember it with great affection and the whole family loved the food

Went here and the food was good. That said the service was rough. We ordered online and it said 30 minutes for pickup. We got there and they said they didn t get the order because they didn t have their machine on and we d have to wait another 30 mins. Wouldn t recommend ordering online here since they seemed surprised anyone would.

New staff, nice people.. Pizza was great, as was the garlic roll I ate! Service was friendly and attentive. Beer was cold ... good times. ( yes, yes I know, but Im an American and we like our beer cold).

I am a repeat customer when I went to pick up my order I requested 2 liter coke at which point the cashier informed me that my new bill was 7 dollars higher than before I added the 2 liter coke. When I asked him why it went up by that much he said the 2 liter bottle was 7 dollars and that they match competitor pricing. Are you kidding me 7 dollars for a 2 liter bottle their clearly ripping people off here. When I asked him if he could remove the Coke he stated that he had already charged,me and couldnt remove it. Tell you what theres alot of other Pizza places in the area. This company just lost a customer because I will not be going back. Ripping off people in a time of economic troubles a not the way to go you are just adding to the issue. Good food horrible customer service.

We ordered from DelVecchios last Friday and asked for delivery. The delivery arrived when promised and that was the good news. I had mentioned to the person taking the order that the first order for delivery was supposed to be free delivery according to the message on the computer, however, she knew nothing about that. The two 10 pizzas were just fair besides being very overpriced. I ordered a cup of soup and paid $5.75 for half a cup. The pasta dish I ordered was terrible and the so called marinara sauce tasted like a cheap tomato sauce. There are so many good italian/Pizza places in Weston and I will NEVER go back to DelVecchios. If you are looking for an overpriced pizza and tasteless pasta and high priced cup of soup, this is the place!!

The food is excellent! New York style pizza was incredibly delicious. Spaghetti with meatballs was also scrumptious. This was our first visit to DelVecchios but we will definitely go there again.

Very disappointed in the service/quality today. I placed an order early for a later time. The restaurant never filled the order because we dont take orders that early but the app allowed it. So the restaurant just didnt fill the order and didnt contact me. When the order was late and I called and was told they would rush it and that it would be an hour later. Over an hour later, no food. I called again and they assured me the driver was almost there. 30 min later, still no food. I called and was told hes almost there. Its a 10 min drive. By the time the food arrived, it was cold. And our school had some very hungry children.

Ordered through their website the first time and they missed the word pepperoni on the title of the item so I only got cheese pizza. I called the store and they were rude and told me to call the third party online ordering service they use to get a refund FOR THE PEPPERONI ONLY which is optional 4 bucks lol. The second time I ordered through a food delivery app. It took them ONE HOUR AND A HALF to deliver a pizza to my work less than 10 minutes from the store. Called the store and they said it didnt take 1 hour and a half(but I had the email confirmation with the time of the order). They said the estimated delivery time in the app is not accurate and it always takes about 1 hour and half for the orders to be delivered(umm its a pizza.. not a 3 course gourmet meal!) again they refused to cancel the order or give me a refund because the driver was on his way already. He called me just a few minutes after that and I told him itd been a long wait and I didnt want it anymore. Luckily the delivery app gave me a refund. No worries though. Weston has plenty of other pizza parlors for me to order from

Worst Pizzeria in Weston FL. Absolutely No custom Service visited today 11/3 time 6:30pm, Todays Staff was Horrible. Place was empty and all the employees were just sitting around doing nothing but chatting. Came in with my family no greeting and the employees just stared at us. Finally the young lady said someone will be with us. We said well be outside to order. 10 mins later no one came out. Terrible service and the guy who makes the pizza is just sitting around being lazy. No wonder this place has no Customers. We decided to leave and have some great Italian Food right up the block at Trattoria most go . Dont go to DelVecchios worst service in Weston FL. I will not come back to this location only the one in Davie FL, in which the pizza is 10 times better then Weston.

The pizza was good, we also ordered pasta that was with over garlic slices that effected the sauce. We got the pizza right away, the pasta took Time they forgot to bring us the garlic bread after we reminded them they brought it but we already full. So service wasnt so much and the pasta disappointing but if you like pizza it was good.

I feel very sorry for the owner of this place, I arrived at 8:30 to order 4 pizzas, the lady who served me told me that they closed at 9, that they only sold me takeaway and that I couldnt eat even outside or inside. . It wasnt nice at all to be honest, on the outside door it says they close at 10, this is going bankrupt. Of course we went to eat at their competition

Just had a delightful pizza dinner here at Del Vecchios Pizzeria. Started out with their garden salad. Their regular size is enough for several. Get it with shredded mozzarella cheese and creamy Italian dressing, so good! Of course, no pizza meal is complete unless you get garlic rolls. Next up was our freshly made pepperoni pizza with onions. Our server was top notch. We will definitely be back! Yauza!!! Parking: Plenty of parking.

Terrible attention from all employees!! They dont have staff for the demands they have and they dont mind telling you to your face that its 20 minutes, you wait 30 minutes and they tell you 20 more minutes!! I want to say first off the service was good. I liked the fact that they had a lunch special for 2 slices and a soda for under 10 dollars is pretty good. Buuuttt... the pizza was a No for me. I cant even say that the taste was terrible, it just didnt have a taste it was like eating paper. They are undergoing renovations, they may want to think about revamping the pizza recipe.

Not the same restaurant I remember from 2001. Under remodeling, dirty tables, counter service, first come first serve tables, no menus, some kind of plastic in the garlic rolls. Ate pizza anyway but disappointed.

Just picked up our order. Pizza had wrong toppings which happens. However, my sons calzone had a cup of sauce on the side. The cup was placed in a DIRTY NUTELLA LID! Can you imagine how many dirty hands had touched that lid?! The lady answering the phone did not apologize and was actually rude.Upon returning the calzone at their request, I saw how filthy the restaurant is especially the front door. The pizza man had his mask under his chin and the lady wasntt wearing hers either until she came to the register. How can this disgusting place be open?

Ordered take out - chicken parm with penne and garlic bread. Walked in to friendly atmosphere.. very clean. Order ready right on time. Glad I ate this meal in private because I literally devoured it. My face stayed in my plate until I finished eating. The chicken was tender, sauce just right and the bread was to die for. Absolutely delicious and filling. A must go to restaurant when you are in the area.

Best pizza in Weston- their team is amazing!! We recently moved to Florida and were thinking that Weston wouldn t deliver a real pizza spot. This place brings it! The pizza is sooo good! NY style, stuffed, great fresh toppings! Crust is always perfect and the garlic rolls are yuuummmmm! We are so happy to have an awesome neighborhood pizza spot with friendly welcoming staff.

The pizza was prepared on time as promised and delivered on time even though the delivery driver ran into difficulties getting it delivered (with no fault of his own) he did not give up. absolutely horrible experience. my foreign friend who doesn t speak english well didn t understand what gratuity meant and left w/o tipping so 2 of my friends and i were YELLED at by a rude waitress who knew it was my other friend who didn t tip, but continued to yell at us. a woman in glasses behind the counter was also yelling. all of us still tipped, although we shouldn t have. never going back and i recommend those seeing this dont either.

Amazing experience! Sydney (our waitress) was extremely attentive to our booth and all of our food was more than delicious. Coming from the New York area, I rate this pizza as a 9/10 - we ordered a pizza pie, ravioli, salad and Nutella pizza and everyone thought everything was delicious. Once again, staff was splendid. Everybody treated us with gratitude and kindness and welcomed us with a big, heartwarming smile. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!

WOW!! Just wow. I ve been to a lot of different pizza places over the years. I like to check out different locations, especially when traveling. (Up and down the east coast) if you like thin crust then great BUT even if you don t still great. Why, you may ask. Well DelVecchio s knows how to make that perfect in between of not too and not too thick. The cheese!! A lot of places think the more I add on the more my customers would be happy.!! FALSE moderation people. This restaurant has just the appropriate amount and cooked just excellent- not over cooked where we see charcoal and not underdone where you wonder why the cheese isn t cooked through. Now let s talk about the staff!!! INSANE!! Insanely AMAZING! Not only did I receive a great meal but the staff was beyond attentive and really wholesome kind people. They accommodated my needs whether it be where I wanted to seat or the volume level of the television. A GIANT shout out to Nichole. She was a pleasure to meet and she should get recognition for her outstanding work ethic. Thank you for opening a great restaurant with amazing staff. This really made my entire day.

In Weston. Great Pizza. They have lots of things on the menu though. We get plain pizza for the little ones and vegetable for the adults.

Been coming to this place since I was 15 years old. Saddly the management service is so bad we were not allowed to eat there last night as my 3 year old was eating something else. The manager and waittress literally told us we don t need you just go to another place to eat that was more then infuiriating, sad just sad. Will not ever come back and all the people to told about this situation were absolutely dissapointed and not coming back.

For weeks I have been placing the same order on Friday nights. Always pepperoni pizza and mozzarella rolls with no garlic or garlic butter (allergy issues). Last night when we received our order, the pizza was way overdone and hard and the rolls had so much garlic that my family members who can eat garlic, could not eat them. One of my kids choked because there was so much garlic. The meal was terrible and I wasted $33. It will not happen again. It isn t hard to look at the order to see that garlic should not have been on the rolls. This mistake could have made my family member extremely sick.

I waited 25 minutes in the phone to place an order, I call again they hang up, I called again and I tried to place the order for Wednesday for the school, she answered at first her manager is out, then she said I can not place order because they are way to busy for Wednesday 11am they can not take any order seems to me they don t want us as a clients.

I ordered the DelVecchio s Supreme Pizza, when I opened the box everything was in huge chunks impossible to eat, I could barely taste the cheese. The pizza was super cold and the crust was really disappointing. I wouldn t recommend this place.

Delicious NY style pizza. This is one of my favorite places for pizza. I went with my family this weekend and we had the sweetest and most attentive waitress, Marissa. She told us it was her first day doing this, which was surprising because she did such a great job of being attentive to our table s needs. Will definitely keep on coming here and would love for her to wait on us again. My kids are usually picky eaters but they always finish all their food in this restaurant!

Great food, the employee that took my order was just over the top nice!!! Thanks!! Its hard to maintain patient these days with such different ways to stay open and deal with customers. I would suggest though, to accommodate and use the window by the door to take orders, makes it easier and smoother and less physical contact with people. Just a suggestion and my humble opinion.

Order through Grub Hub Delivery driver by the name of Juan your best driver claims to have hand delivered my order to a male in his 20s at my home, 4 people live at my home 2 adults well over 20 and 2 children. The girl who answered the phone said there was nothing she could do since the order was handed to the man at my house my husband whom I had on speaker then said we wouldn t be calling to say we didn t get pizza we have kids waiting on pizza, She replied that her driver wouldn t lie so I guess we re the liars, my husband then says I am on my way to the restaurant to show face and have the delivery driver identify that he handed pizza off to me. The call ended there we make it to the restaurant the doors are closed. Make it back home to have police cars in front of our house as if it s a crime scene. According to the officers the girl at the restaurant called crying/ Shaken and said my husband threatened her and the driver and that he arrived at the restaurant banging on windows pulling on the doors. SERIOUSLY!!! I went to the restaurant with my husband, he pulled the one door handle that was available it was locked, all the other doors had tables in front, so I want to know what doors did he bang on and pull on? No way a threat was made to anyone! I m really offended that this even occurred and taken to this extreme my kids were frightened never again will I order from DelVecchio s. What was supposed to be family pizza night ended with a horrible experience due to lack of poor customer service and a horrible delivery guy there s only one place in my community with the address provided.

Pizza is great, Weve been coming to DelVs for over 10-15 years... however, the staff is inexperienced to provide mid-top level restaurant service. Every time we dine in, we are waiting on something, silverware, salads, water or a drink, extra napkins, hot sauce or anything extra (ice, x-cup, straw, box take-home, etc...). The Pizza is really good but the Mgt should provide better training, evaluation every 30 -60 days, increase earning based on performance or Sales. I bet the pizza maker is getting good $$ to create a quality product, which they do every time.

I called them, got placed on hold not once, twice, or three times.. But four. By the fourth time, I already knew what he was going to tell me, so I said Hey, this is the fourth time you guys have put me on hold. He scoffed and said Well you re just going to have to wait then! Customer service is horrible. I will not be doing business with this place ever again.

The absolute worst attitude I ve ever witnessed esp when the food is so low grade. Don t ever waste your time eating here.

DelVecchios has hands down the best New York style pizza around! Their sauces is out of this world! There prices are justifiable with the quality of food we received! I was extremely impressed with their Covid 19 protocols! They had a pick up stationed outside, mask of mandatory, and they sanitized the pen right in front of me! My son is in love with the garlic rolls, and of course their chocolate cake! Will definitely be back soon!

DelVecchios is awesome! My son is obsessed with their pizza. Their sauces is so good. They even have this great take and bake kit for 15.99. They give you everything you need to create your own pizza at home. Great idea for a family night we do this couple times a month. Don t forget their homemade garlic rolls, they are outrageous. Also thank you DelVecchios for being so Covid cautious. We appreciate you and your staff. Can t wait to bring my son in for dinner when this is all over.

Just picked-up a to-go order of pasta and pizza a few hours ago. I was able to walk up to their pick-up window; so, no need to go inside, which I greatly appreciated. Ate the food once we got home - delicious. Great sauce on the spaghetti and ravioli.

Great Food, and April 20, served CBD PIZZA! We enjoyed several meals here! Great prices also! Small, but cozy family place! Plenty of shopping and parking here! NO! WE DID NOT TRY THEIR HEMP JUICE PIZZA!

I got the garlic wings and they used fresh garlic to make them. They taste great. This restaurant also offers take out should you prefer to eat elsewhere. The only issue I have is the beer selection is weak. They only seem to carry a few light beers. I would recommend the owners expand their offerings.

I was craving pizza so I stopped in here for takeout. The staff was courteous, not friendly and the pizza was just OK. If you are craving pizza and in the area it would fit the bill. I ordered pepperoni pizza and it hit the spot but that was about it. Nothing memorable.

Two stars kind of speaks for itself, if youre hungry and just want food this will fit the bill. If you want good food had somewhere else.

It was OK kind of the experience. Pizza was not delicious as expected. Tip charged as 18% is again too high.

I ordered a pizza for delivery from their site. It said it would be 45 minutes to deliver. It was ordered via their website / slice app. I never received the pizza after over 1 hour and 15 minutes. I called slice, they lied and said its on the way, after an additional 30 minutes, I called (chatbot) with slice and then the told me, its still being prepared???. I then called the restaurant and they said they lost the order, offered to refund me but couldnt find the order... I said that I was hungry so I wanted the food. They told me thed delivery it it in 40 minutes after taking my order again on the phone. . An hour passed, and I called them again, they said its on its way. When it got here, the delivery driver insisted I sign a receipt that had nothing to do with my slice order. I received my order 2 hours and 45 minutes after it was placed on a Monday evening! I placed the order at 7:15, it was suppose to be delivered at 7:45-8:01pm but showed up at 9:45pm. The pizza and garlic rolls were cold. This is perhaps the worst service Ive ever received. They get two stars because at least they answered the phone and tried to help. Dont use slice, dont order food from here, they dont deserve your business, the Pizza probably would have been good if it were at least warm.. but with all the Pizza providers in the neighborhood, Im sure you could find someone who provided a better customer experience and value.

If you re looking to fill your stomach yes you can eat here but there are so many better things to eat. I first had the soup and it was okay, if a little greasy. The garlic roll was very greasy but still flavorful. My main course was the eggplant parmigiana with pasta. The eggplant was simply gross, it was covered in grease without balance of flavor. The pasta was the only pleasant thing on the plate but it felt just like it was: some macaroni with tomato sauce. I also had the cannolis, while my standards are high when it comes to cannolis, they were by far the worst I have ever tried. The filling was passable if a little bland, however the shell tasted like flavorless paper. Publix has better cannolis for a cheaper price. IHOP has great cannoli pancakes. It s sad. The Cheese Course is about a block away and serves exceptional food. I will say, that the waitress who served me was exceptional. Very sweet and attentive to the food and was very attentive. Extra star for service, as deserved. Overall, the only way I d give this restaurant another shot is if I try their pizza, not anything on their a la carte menu. I did overhear some of the employees talking about how they are short on staff. I hope they get quality people to help them out. While my experience was less then ideal, I wish the best of luck to DelVecchio s.

Calzone was really good!

I ordered 2 lunch specials: 1st order cheese pizza add pineapple, garden salad with ranch and coke. 2nd order cheese pizza add pineapple and ham, garden salad with ranch, cheesecake and sprite. Delivery driver came with the 2 orders of pizza and cheesecake. Asked about drinks and salad. He came back with 2 cokes. Called the restaurant and was given to manager. He said it wasn t a part of order. I told him I m looking at my order and receipt online. He said he would have driver deliver 1 salad and not charge me. I told him he can t charge for something I paid for. He said he will correct it and hung up in my face. When delivery driver came back with salads and correct drink I had him take a picture of order and give to manager.

The pizza is very good- it has quite a unique taste, different in comparison to most pizza. The location is very good in Weston Town Center, and it is convenient. DelVecchios is a good option for a quick and easy lunch. The prices are also pretty low.

We ordered takeout. They did not comply with our instructions. They also forgot to include our soda, garlic rolls and bleu cheese dressing. One of the waitresses gave us a 20.00 credit for getting our order wrong. When I called to place a new order, the general manager told me that he could not honor the 20.00 credit as apparently the waitress did not have the authority to give the credit and that he was going to fire her. He was very rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I love the pizza and the ingredients.

Despite waiting long for our pizza, it came out incredibly greasy, even worse than the wings to which the BBQ was slathered on carelessly. As a US Firefighter stationed near New York during the 2001 bombings, the waiters mocking of a picture of the twin towers is degrading and incredibly offensive, and all of this is not including the massive price for this mediocre meal! 1 star for mediocrity and the carelessness of everyone working here. I expected more from a highly rated restaurant. I would not recommend coming here unless you want grease and obesity.
