We had given it a 5 because we really liked everything, but unfortunately, we went back, and it was a total disappointment. We waited an hour for our food, watching as they kept serving food to other tables. When we asked about our order, they simply told us they would start preparing it, even though we had already been there for over an hour. So, we asked for the bill to pay for the drinks, which were the only thing they brought us, and we left. They’ve lost some customers because we won’t be coming back. They don’t know how to manage the restaurant when it’s full. They didn’t even apologize. ……… Food and the presentation were awesome. Cozy place. Tons of flavor, the baos were amazing and the tuna tataky had a great kick to it. Definitely would come back
Came here for our first time and the sushi and Ramen were both great . We liked every dish we tried. We had the pot stickers and tuna Tataki for appetizers. Then the tiger roll, volcano roll, kao tempura, crispy salmon,and then the beef Ramen. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. It's a quaint small place with nice decor. Def worth stopping in and trying. We will be back for sure .
I was really taken aback by the variety and freshness of the ingredients in the ramen dishes. The soft, flavorful ramen noodles and delicious broth really stood out to me. Additionally, the service was fantastic and the chef was incredibly friendly and accommodating.
I tried out the new Ramen spot in Weston. They are located at a part of the strip mall that is not high traffic. I noticed this business by chance. The atmosphere is nice the decor is chic and modern. I was greeted by a waitress warmly. I think the manager or owner was there at the time but not sure if she welcomed me. I order an appetizer Tigher Roll which was delicious 😋. For my main course I had the Vegan Ramen. The sign of a good Ramen is the broth. This broth sadly missed the mark terribly. I've had Vegan Ramen that was full of flavor and had complex notes and spices. The vegan Raman at Kao tasted like water with a dash of salt and pepper. To remedy this I asked for different sauces and additional spices. The waitress brought a nice sample. It still tasted like salty water but now with additional spices. I won't order that again. Finally for dessert I ordered the brownie a la mode. This was simply De-lici-ous. The brownie was moist and chocolaty. A nice end to a nice day. Highly recommended. Will I go back, probably. I spent $56 dollars for this three course meal which included a bottle of Snapple.
It wasn’t the best sushi I’ve had in the area, but it was good! I got the volcano roll and it had some of the best presentation I’ve ever seen. The flavor of the mock crab was pretty overwhelming, however, more than I’m used to. If I visit again, I will try the ramen: my mother got it, and it looked amazing.
New Sushi and Ramen spot near home! Unfortunately it just didn't deliver. Now it wasn't bad but there are much better options nearby. The atmosphere and decor are wonderful, the service not bad but it does seem they are still working out the kinks. The food presentation was excellent, but unfortunately it all fell apart when it came to the flavors. The tofu in my miso was still cold borderline ice. The sushi and the poke were swimming in spicy mayo, and although the pork belly in my ramen was excellent the broth was flavorless. My family loves ramen and have had many many many bowls of Ramen in our lives LoL. Good Ramen lives or dies with the broth. Unfortunately I don't plan on going back, but only because there is another Ramen restaurant nearby that IMO... by far better in the flavor department.
You don’t have to travel to Japan to taste the best Ramen- it is right here in Weston!!! Heavenly, rich, and flavorful. Thick, chewy noodles and all the right toppings.Our waiter was great; he gave us so many recommendations and really made our experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Terrible place to order from. I asked for a salmon avocado roll, which I have had no less then 7 time there, they said they couldn t make it, that I had to order a specific roll from the menu that they couldn t do anything special. So I proceeded to explain thinking that they were confused and they came up with the same answer. So I told them to check my history as it was a phone in order and I had so much history of the exact same order and the lady reiterated that she wasn t going to. I asked her if she was the manager and she said yes, although she spoke barely English. Very disappointing
A great find in Weston! Very fresh and high quality sushi. They have a fabulous special on Thursday evenings. Awesome service by Camila. Highly recommended
The tonkotsu ramen is top tier! I eat ramen pretty regularly and they sure make it well. Definitely the best in my area.
Great food, service, and experience
Service was terrible, the waitress did not take our order properly and missing some of them, food has a good presentation but tasteless, I do not recommend this place. Sorry!
I went to the restaurant around 6:30 pm and they were closed.
This was a latin inspired sushi and ramen joint. They prepared us an amazing take on tuna tartare that tasted like ceviche. Then a Ramen that was delicious. Great attention to detail, right down to the perfectly cooked, marinated egg and firm soba noodles. The broth kept me coming back. My only recommendation was to serve fresh tortilla with the tartare; it was good enough to deserve it. Try them out.
I love the variety of unique sushi rolls! The ingredients always fresh. The prices are fair and they have very good service!.

yo so we went here to eat like hey its new lets try it OH BIG MISTAKE! so we ordered a poke bowl right i said salmon and rice no sesame seeds or anything right she comes back with it covered in black seasame seeds and soy sauce after i said i want nothing on it ok thats ok we asked her to remake it ok yea she comes back and i see the salmon is some weird shade of orange im like that dose not look right like at all mind you ive been to multiple high quality sushi restaurants i dont think any have given me salmon that looks like that before and i took two bites of the fish after seeing it looked funny oh wow its not even cold and its just not right and so i send that back and the waitress is clearly new to the place aswell but heres the other issues there making sushi in the KITCHEN theres so like clear thing ontop that all the sushi is visible and staying cold at right and then i look again theres SUSHI RICE IN SOME CHEAP PLASTIC TUPPERWEAR THAT IS NOT RIGHT ITS USUALLY IN A BIG RICE STEAMER AND we also saw after we returned the bowl back he grabs some plastic like stuff to cover the bowl in some sushi falls out of it and he picks it back up with his bare hand after it just fell on the counter ok look ive seen most sushi places counters also have like plastic wrap over them for a reason and he picks it back up and puts it back in the the bowl ! and there was still a peace of salmon on the counter from it and then after he puts the plastic wrap over it he takes it back to the kitchen and puts it in the fridge like hes gonna serve that to someone ..IF YOU EAT THAT YOUR GOING TO GET SICK NOT FRESH AT ALL BEING MADE IN THE KITCHEN INSTEAD OF THE BAR Uhm ..red flag and the lighting in there is orange and just weird and there was one other couple in there aswell i hope they dont get sick from eating that sushi DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT BAD QUALITY SUSHI AND POSSIBLY FOOD POSIONING DO NOT EAT HERE WITH THESE UNPROFFESSIONAL CLOWNS !!!
The food is exquisite, from the noodles, to the ramen and the best sushi in my top. 100% recommended. I have taken many friends and they all have the same opinion.

I went with my dad to try Kao for the first time, and it was excellent! The environment was simple, but pleasant and inviting. The customer service was fantastic as the employees were accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious, as the bao buns and ramen was really good (though the noodles were less ramen and more udon on my end, but regardless still really good). The tiger sushi though, while not bad, wasnt great either. Despite that little hiccup, it was all still amazing, and I would gladly come back again and try whatever else they got on the menu.

This may be the only bad review I have ever left. The ramen is so mid. - The broth is really off, not creamy like Tonkatsu should be. - The ramen noodles are actually Udon noodles. - The edamame was definitely frozen also why is edamame in the ramen? The restaurant wants to be a night club so bad. The atmosphere does not fit the suburban strip mall that its in and they bump generic tech house. Service was nice but I was the only one there. If youre looking for a more authentic dining experience the Italian restaurant down the street is much more value for the money you would spend here. I think the sushi is great! We ordered the spicy tuna and Buenos Aires rolls; also one that has guava! I love the chill atmosphere. It is a great low key type of place. Also, Michelle, the server is absolutely amazing. She was courteous, friendly, mannered and efficient! I would definitely see myself going there often going forward.

This place was an amazing dining experience. Everything from the atmosphere, the food, and the service was excellent. I enjoyed eating some chicken noodles which were fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place for a great quick bite.

Very good service from the entire team. Yesterday I shared with friends and everything was excellent, the pork ramen and the huancaina roll were impressive, all the food was excellent.
The food was very good and the service guys were super professional and nice.
Tourist opinion: Our server was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations. The sushi was very fresh and tasted great. The sauce on the spicy edamame was very flavorful, but wasn t very spicy.

Yesterday we were at this new KAO branch in Weston!!! Very good atmosphere and service The sushi exquisite and of course it couldnt miss premium Japanese beer. This restaurant is 100% recommended to eat there or to order takeaway.
Food was mediocre. Nothing to brag about. Service was good. Not worth the price.
Everything was delicious, I m not a big fan of fusion sushi but this was actually amazing. Service was quick and everyone was attentive. Atmosphere is nice for a family gathering or casual drinks. 10/10 will come here again. I can t for the life of me remember the names of the servers but every person we interacted with was super nice.
First time trying Kao Weston. The volcano sushi and tiger sushi were full of surprising flavors (hint of lime, hint of sweetness) Fresh and lively and enjoyable, just enough kick in flavors. Pork dumplings were delicious! Beef ramen was full of flavor as well. Looking forward to trying different menu options next visit. Welcoming, friendly employees. Nice atmosphere. Very clean too.

BEWARE EXTRA FEES! Me and my friends (only 5 people total) were charged a large party fee of 20%. No one was even in the restaurant so it s not like they were busy!!! Not to mention this is not some high end luxury restaurant there is no reason to charge that, nor were we informed! The noodles were 60% onions and the sushi I got was not even sushi! It was fried rice! Very disappointed. I really wanted to like this place. The inside is pretty but SO NOT WORTH IT. Also I accidentally forgot my to-go box and I come back not even 5 minutes later! They tell me they threw it out and didn t even compensate me very rude.

Best sushi in Broward!! I have tried a lot of sushi restaurants, but never like KAOS. For the price you get what you pay for and more. Great atmosphere, excellent service and even better food. 5/5!!!

Unfortunately I must say that the basic things of a restaurant were not realized today! The food was delicious, but the service and customer service was totally terrible. While we were waiting for the food, we saw how 4 families had to leave due to the lack of attention at the table. They didnt clean the tables, but after a long time, that gives a very bad impression. Todays manager was not focused on those essential details in any restaurant. On 3 occasions they came to bring us a meal that belonged to us. It is a small place which should be of first class attention. I hope they improve!
Very subpar ramen for a premium price. Their tonkotsu broth lacks any of the signature richness or flavor that tonkotsu is supposed to have. It tastes like they over seasoned the broth and didnt let it cook enough to develop a flavor profile. The noodles were also not cooked right and tasted of rice wine, which youre supposed to cook down until it compliments the dish, rather than standing out instantly when you take a bite. But it shouldnt take a customer teach the chefs how to cook the food thats in the name of their restaurant. For a $19 bowl of ramen, this is the last place in the area Id ever go to again. Go to Shimuja or Poke Ramen over in Davie if you want good ramen. KAO is mediocre at best but everything is just as expensive as the premium restaurants nearby. Waste of money.

We arrived very late and there were no customers, but the owner was very attentive and told us to sit down, that they would serve us. The service was excellent, we were not rushed to close. The rolls are the best sushi I have eaten in Weston. I will definitely come back to try others and the ramen. I recommend it 100%! .
