My wife and I had a decent enough meal here, but the prices were shocking and the service was very lacking. The waitress seemed to be annoyed that we had come in, gruffly took our order, and after delivering our coffee and meal disappeared until it was time for the bill. When she handed us the machine to put our card in, the suggested tip options started at 20% and went up to 28%. I nearly laughed right there. the suggestion was the quarter of the bill for that kind of service? I had a 14$ dollar breakfast burrito. I believed that would come with some sort of sides, but no. As a professional cook myself I know that the markup on that burrito and nothing is insane. The small single cup of coffee I got (because the grumpy waitress couldnt be found) cost me 4$. I feel like I could have gotten about the same for much less at a decent gas station. Buyer beware.

Cold matzo ball soup. Bagels didn t come with the tuna salad until half an hr later. The right arm doesn t communicate with the left arm. Our waitress seemed new but very nice.

I don t typically write reviews but I can t stress enough how much I recommend this place. Good food, energy and prices. Truly no place like it, I always feel welcome and of course the amazing food keeps you coming back. Best bagels in Weston hands down. Kid-friendliness: Felt very kid friendly and loved the way the staff interacted with us and were very welcoming. Again, you can tell how much the staff treat each other like family and the energy is just truly unmatched. Been coming here for years, will be coming here for many more.

Recently they started sneaking in a 3% credit card add on. They did not mention it on the phone when I ordered. They did not mention the fee before I paid at the register nor after I paid when I asked how much the bill was. They are the definition of thieves. Disgusting

Food was above average but the service was not.

This place is a legit bagel shop with quality food in terms of taste and quanity. But overall the quality is average at best. Barley any salmon on my bagel. The bagels are small to average size. Most shops offer larger than a bagel from Publix for example. They were almost smaller. The price however is ridiculous. Weston prices for sure. I paid $25 for a coffee and a nova lox bagel. Should have been half in any other type shop. Really cant justify the price here.

Been coming to Mitch s for almost 20 years. The service now is atrocious and the ownership should be ashamed. No manager on-site to even deal with the situation. Outdoor table COMPLETELY ignored. The food finally came and was cold.

Could be a better experience if they have a server with more enthusiasm in the morning. Not sure if Ill be coming back due to the older server lady seems to not want to be at work. Causes the service to move really slow. Makes you feel that youre not wanted there. My experience.

I stopped in this morning for a sandwich, and I have to say, their corned beef Reuben was incredible. As a New Yorker, I ve had my fair share of delis, but this place blows them out of the park. Im picky about my sandwiches, but this one was perfect. Place was clean, employees were very kind. Highly recommend this spot to anyone I can. A hidden gem I ll definitely be back!

We had a good experience there. The bagels are not bad. The portions are big. The service was cold from some. But was awesome from others. The hostess didn t say hi.

They sat us at a table out back. We waited 15 minutes and nobody came out to ask us if we wanted anything. We went inside and asked to sit at the open table.. they only had 1 large table that they could have separated but they said no and preferred we go to Lucilles Diner right door . Customer service TERRIBLE. THIS is why probably why they downsized as people dont go back.. I definitely wont...

Best bagels

Went there for the first time today! Felt like some chicken soup. Well normally getting chicken soup out is always disappointing, especially when you make really tasty chicken soup nothing compares to homemade, but there chicken soup is the best I have ever tasted, it actually tastes like homemade! There bagels were also amazing! Definitely will be going back to try more dishes! Totally recommend!

I visited Mitch s Westside Bagels for the first time September 14. It i was not what I expected. I love the old school vibes the place was giving off. I love how you can see the food in the display as if you are at a deli. I am a big fan of Nutella so I ordered their Nutella French toast. The portion size was amazing and the fruit they put on top was fresh. As far as customer service goes, I did not feel pressured to hurry up and order and was given time to enjoy my food. The menu was easy to understand and my waitress was kind and polite. This was a 10 out of 10 experience!!

Had breakfast with my wife at Mitchs we ordered the hangover and it was great the bagles were very good we are originally from NY and this place is the closest to NY bagles. Very clean and the service was friendly and professional, will be back soon.

Went there for a bagel for the first time! I thought it was just a bagel shop, but its a full restaurant with a deli. And my salmon bagel was delicious! The service was excellent! Especially the young lady at the counter. So enthusiastic, friendly and welcoming! Ill be back there soon!

I won t recommend this place to families with young kids. The waitress (50s) was very rude, she will ignored my kids (5 and 7) when they try to tell her something. Also, she call out my kids because they were playing with the sugar packages (who does that). Also, I had to go to the kitchen and ask for water because they won t come to us after delivering the food. In terms of food, the beagles were good I won t order anything else. Coffee was burned, pancakes had a generous size for the price but bad quality, including the bacon. First and last visit. We won t be coming here anymore.

Place was clean and spacious. We sat outside which was a nice. Service wasn t so great, she didn t have patience taking our order and wasn t friendly with our kids, she even called out our son for playing with the sugars. Food portions were impressively big, specially the pancakes. They could be shared by 3 people. The bathroom was out of order and they didn t have a changing table. Kid-friendliness: No changing table. Waitress called out my son because he was plain with the sugars.

This place is my breakfast go to. Great food and always clean. But you have to ask for Lynn when you go! Shes sweet, efficient and gets the order right!!!

Carrie is an excellent waitresses., had to send back my food. Was missing bacon and cheese from my meal. They made a new one for me.

Extremely expensive deli. Just moved back from Manhattan, NY where everything is known to be more expensive. Surprisingly enough, Mitch s is actually more expensive than any other Midtown Manhattan bagel place. Not friendly staff, ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese which was $12.95 and a bagel and butter toasted which barely had butter. My bagel wasn t even warm and after asking for more butter, they just gave me the cheapest butter to add myself. Would not recommend or be back ever again.

Came in over the weekend for a to go order and Sandy was so nice and helpful in making sure I got everything I needed. Will be back again.

We had a late breakfast today. Sitting in the patio was very relaxing. The server was extremely nice and suggested I get the Nova avocado toast. It was really good. I enjoyed it a lot. The coffee was good. My wife enjoyed her muffin and large fruit bowl. The turtles in the water were playful. My wife and I were able to relax and enjoy our breakfast.

It was my first time eating here and I was super excited to try it as the menu had a lot of options and looked like a cute place. My server was Carrie and I ve never had a worst experience in my life. I was a server/bartender for two years so I totally understand when you re busy/ in a rush, however she only had two tables other than us(who were above 40+ years old) in which she attended to their every need, however my friend and I (in our 20 s) were treated horrible. Along with another young girl I saw trying to pay her check for 10 minutes next to us as she ignored her. Everytime I tried to order she d already be walking away before I could finish and I d have to shout what else I wanted as she continued to walk away from me. Throughout the meal I had to call out for her because she never once checked on us, never had water, took 10 minutes to get syrup because the first time we called her over for it she forgot it and went to her other tables instead. When my friend asked if they had strawberry cream cheese she laughed at her saying they haven t had it in ten years, and then it took 15 minutes for our bagel to come out when tables next to us kept getting their food (we got a plain bagel with butter and cream cheese on the side, came with no butter). When putting down the French toast on the table I had to grab the plate because it started sliding towards me when she quickly slid it on the table..When asking for the check she took my friends cash and walked around serving other tables for another 5-8 minutes while we waited for our change. She was extremely unprofessional, rude, and inattentive. Never had a worse server. I don t like posting reviews but I would ve never treated my table like this! We left her $2 but honestly I still feel that was too much, gave her money to feel like a burden lol

Food is excellent and real Deli, hard to find a good deli anywhere these days Most have cut the quality of their meats by using a less expensive cut like top round instead of using First Cut, they charge top dollar but the cut of meat makes the difference Mitch s Westside is excellent and can t wait for them to open in Hallandale
