We when for dinner on Friday night and we were able to get sitting in few minutes. The waitress recommended the sweet temptation roll and was a great choice! The kokai cake was our dessert and it was so good that we will go back just for the dessert. And of course the sushi because is excellent.

I placed an order by phone and when I went to pick it up they left me waiting for 1 hour. The innkeepers response was that they had a party that came before me. It seemed disrespectful to me because if youre going to let me wait an hour, just dont take my order or tell me theres an hours wait. I wont get the customer service any worse.

Worst service I had in a long time, I ordered yaki soba with chicken and shrimp, he forgot the chicken, I ate it anyway, because Alejandro never came to the table after we order,mi wife and friend got their food after I finished mine finally he showed and told him mi order was missing the chicken, he blamed the cook but I know he forgot, I wait 1 hour to order another beer,he never show up,Worst of all he never apologized, he have to go to front desk to pay the bill, when I got the bill he charged my chicken, he blamed the computer again, horrible service

Went to dinner with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday after ordering we had to wait at least an hour to get our dinner served and after that the waitress came to tell us that we had to leave fast because there was another reservation waiting when it wasn t our fault that the food took so long. Very disrespectful and rude, can t recommend a place that treats customers like this. By the way they charged us $82 only for setting up a table for 10 people.

This is great place when you talk about food. But the service when you come in is horrible. The person that welcomes you doesn t even smile. It feels like they don t want you to come in to dine. The last few times I have had to beg to get service even when all the tables are empty. So sad because it s a place with great potential but definitely not coming back.

Being regular customers, we ordered through the establishments website and the order was canceled without notice and we were charged. We called for 30 minutes straight on the phone and they never answered us. We went to the place to find out what was happening and they told us that the order had never been received and that we should complain to the company subcontracted by the establishment. We explained to them that we had placed the order through the website that owns Kokai with their own domain and that they could not give us that answer and they told us that they could not solve the matter. I repeat, we have been regular customers for two years and all the waiters know us. The explanation and the poor treatment and mistreatment they gave us is a shame. Some scammers.

Decent food, service staff needs help! Four servers, place is empty I arrived at 6pm I was the only table inside. My server had one table, I waited 10 minutes to be asked for what I wanted to drink, she took my order and never came back to the table only when I requested another drink since I was out about 5 minutes before, got my drink and she never came back again! Has potential just need to focus on customer service this is key!! Provide a great experience, customers will come back, hope this helps!

If you like torn up menus, skrillex music on high, and haughty servers, this place is for you. We ended up not eating there so not sure about the food. At 1:30 on a Saturday and the place was deserted. You be the judge.

We were frequent customers (1 to 2 times a week) but we will not return! When you order takeout they deny you sauce: we cant give free sauce for FREE? We paid for rolls of $20 dollars and up, I wonder if asking for a little sauce for the roll shouldnt be included? What a shame, we have eaten in many sushi restaurants and they all include sauces and ginger. Here they deny it to you, because they say they do very little every day.

I when for 1st time, and to my surprise I noticed that the restaurant was empty at lunch time, I order a Bento Box , and I have to said that I never eat a bad an taste less Bento Box before, a cheap and bad quality on the fish , you can tell that it was make with a really bad quality products. Don t be surprised when they bring you the check, because they charge the tip in advance , but not the 18% they charge you the higher one 22%, my partner ask the lady why, and she said because people don t leave an extra tip really!!!! . Well if you want to waste your money and have an argument with them because of the tip , please don t go there.

I was delighted to discover in the back an incredible view of the lake on an open-air but covered terrace with high tables for two or shorter tables for a group of four people. The menu is very complete! I loved the soup and the roles. Highly recommended the Geisha with rice paper coverage! So its a place you have to visit

Last weekend I celebrated my Engagement Party at Kokai Sushi & Lounge - it was a total success! I ve had the pleasure of trying out their three locations in the past and I knew the food and the space at the Weston location was ideal for my gathering. I had planed for 35 attendees and their patio was perfect to host my event. More people showed up, but they were very flexible and helped me set everyone up. We had multiple appetizers, fried rice, two sushi boats filled with a variety of rolls, and a very refreshing sangria. The service was attentive - the only hiccup was that the main entrees took a long time to be serve. Overall, my family had a great time and loved the food! They allowed me to set up a dessert table and I brought champagne for the toast. They provided the table and the champagne glasses! If you are thinking about hosting your event here - I would recommend it. Try to keep your party around 30 people to keep it more confortable. Thank you Kokai Sushi & Lounge, it was an amazing party!

I placed a takeout order over the phone for 9 rolls, including one without shrimp, which I got. They will be placed separately for an allergic person. I paid over $140 for this and it turns out that the The allergic persons roll was in poor condition and all the ones that had avocado were black. What a lack of respect and care for those of us who order takeout. The person threw it in the trash, what a shame.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT CUSTOMER SERVICE. My wife, son, and I decided to go for dinner last night as we are new residents of WESTON And I have worked in management at one of the car dealerships for a long time .When we arrived, the place was not that busy, and they were two open tables, eventually, after waiting for them to clean one of the tables, they sat us down. After waiting a good 15 minutes, we realize no one had even walked over and asked us if we wanted water ,drinks or any appetizers or any sort of food at all. It s not like the place was busy. They might have had a total of six tables with people, and it looks like 3 waiters or waitresses. They weren t even busy.When we looked around all of the staff were chatting like it was social hour, same goes for the seven people they had behind preparing sushi and it looks like a couple manager standing back there. After being ignored, we decided to stand up and walk out and go to another restaurant to eat dinner. This is a terrible way to treat any customers, especially people that are new to the City of Weston. Whoever the owner of this place is needs to rethink whoever he has managing his restaurant after hours when they go home and if the owner was there when we let no one asked if something was wrong. TERRIBLE SERVICE STAY AWAY . I will make sure no one from my Work eats there ever again and will never recommend this place to anyone.
