I have been coming to this restaurant for over 15 years. We have typically always had good service and good food. I have ordered mega sushi boats and come in about twice a month for dinner. However, over the past few months it has become more and more apparent that they are driving costs out of their product and serving less quality and quantity. We ordered the fresh spring rolls (have krab and shrimp in the roll) and there was about 90% iceberg lettuce shoved inside and not much else. We also ordered the sashimi appetizer platter and the fish was not fresh at all. It seemed still slightly frozen. We mentioned this to the bartender and she shrugged it off and we left at least half of the food on the plate. Their rolls have also been shrinking in size compared to in the past. If the new management is listening, I do hope you turn this around as you are going to continue to lose long term customers.

I really love this place! The food and atmosphere are very good, I ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp and had some delicious Italian Pinot Grigio with my meal. I sat at the bar, Yumi (the bartender) made me feel welcomed, she is very friendly and took care of my order making me feel very special and gave me some other meals suggestions for the next time... Ill be back soon to try them.

Quick place for lunch very quick service and an excellent lubch menu option with salad, soup and sushi plate for only $20

Dishonest restaurant. I placed an order through Uber Eats last night. While processing the order, I noticed the delivery address was incorrect, so I changed it to the correct address. However, I received a message that the restaurant would not be able to deliver it. I immediately canceled the order but was still charged. According to the restaurant, they had already started working on the order. This is impossible and dishonest.

Beautiful restaurant, the staff was very friendly and assisting. We enjoyed our experience and our server was very adorable, she made sure we had a pleasant dinner, definitely will visit again in the future.

I had a wonderful lunch with my older daughter we both ordered Thai lunch specials with soup and salad, along with two pcs eel sushi mine with rice ,my daughter noodles. These both had great flavors along with very fresh vegetables. These dishes were too much for lunch so we had leftovers to take home. I totally recommend Moon for lunch or dinner.

I had been to this place before and I liked it but my last experience was not the best, my 3 different entrees had the same strange taste at the end, which was not pleasant, the service was too fast for you to order everything and leave in one go time! The sushi was delicious but I already had bad experiences and it didnt provoke me so I left it! I dont think Ill go back

Good food and service. I eat here often when I visit the area. Recently, I had exceptional service from Chen. I couldnt eat the sides that came with my entree, so without me asking, he made substitutions. When I was finished, he had the extra sides I couldnt eat packed for me to take home to my wife. Also, the new manager, Jo Jo , was very welcoming and accommodating.

Moon Thai has delicious food, and a very fun atmosphere, but is very pricey. You will definitely spend at least $50, unless you go during happy hours. Outside of the price, everything else is pristine. Food

The food was delicious, and a large menu gave everyone lots of choices that you are sure to find something to your liking. Prices were on the high side but for a special treat it was worth it. My biggest problem was the restaurant was dark so it made it difficult to read the menu. Vegetarian options: Plenty of choices for both vegetarians and meat eaters

Food was good, can be a choice for vegetarians but the place itself is really unhygienic, you can feel the floor is sticky because its dirty and the tables ( especially for groups ) were terribly dirty and sticky, you just dont feel like eating looking at them. They dont even bother to clean properly neither they covered with the table cover. Think before you ! Hope restaurant will do something about it ! Vegetarian options: Had few vegetarian options

Overpriced, food very average and not worth it. If you expect that quality and price in Weston would be better, you are wrong. Very dull Tom Yam Goong and really less than average Pad Thai. $7 for the mini soup and $20 for the pad thais it seems too much.

In the middle of dinner, the area in the back of the restaurant started smelling like propane was leaking. The waiter was nowhere to be found. The smell was so strong that my wife and kids had to leave with the headache. The food was ok, but the service was lousy. The interior of the restaurant looks too worn out and kind of dirty to have a pleasant experience. Bathrooms are dirty, like in the 3rd world country. If youre thinking about going out there, I would go somewhere else.

Love this place... They have a short list of dim sum items that you can order as appetizers... Their Lamb is delicious... Also love their drunken noodles. Food

The worst mochi ice cream EVER. Don t order them!!!!! They probably left them in the freezer for so long. they got thick ice chunks on them. I bit into them and the mochi CRUMBLED yikes! Hope they get better, fresh mochi ice cream. Beautiful place but the food was just ok.

This is the Bad Review I had promised the Owner/Manager last night. Our response to poor service, foods well below expectations and lack of care. We had the worst of Service by Johnny, who was argumentative while serving Dinner before we were able to eat the Soup..leaving a very crowded table and did not return to make space. The Soup lacked taste and product, especially being Hot and Sour Soup....there was very little in it....(chicken, tofu, bamboo shoots, eggs and mushrooms). I could not believe the Tuna Roll Sushi is better at an all-you-can-eat Buffet. It had so much rice and so little Tuna along with so few small pieces. The Moon Thai Lamb, (Rack of Lamb) were paper thin and very well done with sticky tasteless sauce and had only one Shiitake Mushroom cut into quarters. Our friends with us had Shrimp Pad Thai which was dry, had very little sauce and had hardly any chopped peanuts. The Baked Barbeque Pork Bun was delivered as a Steamed Bun. The worst part of our meal was the attitude of Management as we left. During Covid, we truly enjoyed and recommended this restaurant.......NO MORE!!

My husband ordered a soup. The soup had a worm in it there was no apology only jokes. The waiter said more protein as he laughed. Never again!

Very good place if you like Asian food, pad Thai, sushi, tempura prawns and much more. They offer you different levels of spiciness from 0 to 4. Its not cheap but its not too expensive either.

Don t expect much for $24 for the curry. All you get is a small bowls worth.

I had their veggie soup, which was excellent, and I had their spring rolls, but they were fried and overpriced. I believe their non-fried spring rolls were probably pretty good except the cost was over the top. The atmosphere was very nice other than the air conditioning is over cold. The waiter was absolutely excellent. He was attentive, considering I was eating alone and not ordering very much. I gave him a decent tip for as much as I spent, which was not much since I am on an austerity budget. Would I eat there if I had a lot of money yes.

The food was not tasty. The red curry was too flowy and more water. The ginger sauce with rice was too watery. not enough the money they charge.

My wife and I love Asian food have had several great dining experiences recently, unfortunately this was not one of them. I guess I should have checked recent reviews. It has been a while since we ordered from Moon and this is the first time I cant call it a 5 star experience. Prices have gotten out of hand and the food quality has declined. As others mentioned here the $24 chicken curry was the biggest disappointment. About 6 small slices of chicken and a few vegetables in a very thin sauce - more like a soup than anything. We also had the Tiger Tear (spicy beef salad) and again very limited beef and dry - the sauce was way too light. If this was a $10 to $12 appetizer that would OK but for an $18 main dish it was over priced. The Pad Woonsen and chicken Pad Thai were tasty and reasonable portions but once again at $20 each they are over priced. All in all our dinner was over $100 and should have been in the $70 range. On the positive side I will say for the most part the flavors are still very good. Its a shame the portions and prices are so far out of line.

Business lunch. Mediocre food at best. Lousy service. The ice tea I ordered didn t show up until after the entree when I reminded the waiter. At that point i asked to add one sprite. Waiter came back with one glass having mix of ice tea and sprite. My colleague asked for steak and rice and after long waiting the waiter brought little cup with stickey rice and insisted that what was ordered. To finish off while paying the Waite head the audacity to choose on my behalf the 20% top option after this bad service.

This is the first time ordering from Moon Thai, I had heard highly about this. The staff was really while ordering and picking up. However, I was little disappointed, with food. We order takeout, Tom kha, fried rice, red curry. Traditional Tom kha has coconut milk and this Tom kha no coconut milk. Red curry, had generous veggies but they went too easy on curry . Plus cauliflower in curry and Tom kha took me by surprise, I have never seen use of cauliflower in Thai food. Finally, the fried rice was too dry.

Ume, the lovely bartender here was delightful. I m going through a hard time with my husband in the hospital and I came just to relax. She is amazing. Made food recommendations that were excellent, made me an amazing Tequila Cosmo and lessened my load. She was so great I came a second night. The food was delicious but, her lovely upbeat personality made me come back.

Spent $130 and Ordered from their website, they forgot 2 items from the delivery order. Called and was meet with we can not refund you for missing items. You need to contact our 3rd party delivery service. Mind you I ordered directly from their website, worst customer service i have ever experienced. I wish I could give them zero stars for the way they treat their customers!!!

Service was not friendly or professional. It seems the waitress forgot about our food. Brought the rolls and forgot the soups, what at the end we had to eat every thing at the same time!! The children menu was a piece of meat floating on soy sauce!! This place was our favourite for sushi . And good service not any more!!!!

Very old waiter seats me with no menu, expects me to remember the menu, and then when I ask for a Samurai, he gives me a Santa Monica instead. I ask for a red blend, and he gives me a cabernet instead. Hes not the only waiter doing this. I wont be coming back.

On 10/28/23 we decided to give this restaurant a try. We ordered take-out: Chicken Pad Woon Sen and Steak Pad Woon Sen. Both meals were mostly noodles and onions. There was very little chicken (almost no meat at all) and only 2 small (tiny) strips of beef. There were no scallions, bean sprouts or tomatoes in either meal, contrary to what the description says. We are very disappointed and feel like we got taken. Almost like the joke is on us and it is not like the meals are inexpensive. After I got home and discovered this, I wanted to come back and demand a refund but my wife talked me out of it since I was very angry at the time.

Excellent food

I had the Pineapple fried rice with shrimp and very good. We had the spring rolls veggie and chicken. I liked the veggie better but were good. Others had sashimi sushi and that was very good too. One had chicken teriyaki and she enjoyed that very much.

I had a great time! The ambiance was amazing and the service was really great. One of the workers named Madi was really sweet and her service to my friends and I were exceptional!

Ive been eating here for 15 yrs. The one time I got a fly in my salad. I called to ask for a refund for just the Salad. They never provided the refund. So now. Ill post the pictures of the massive fly in my food.

Moon Tai continues to be a stable platform for Tai. We have now been there several times despite living 12 miles away. We are not really sushimi consumers. But everything else has been spot on for us. As always everyones experience might differ slightly. If you go be sure to ask for the Calamari. A favorite of ours

The Moon Thai and Japanese restaurant was excellent!!! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! My waitress was Fani and she was very accommodating and attentive to our wants. I absolutely loved her as our waitress. She was knowledgeable and answered my questions very well. The food was really good. I ordered the Chicken Katsu and I had it for the first time and I enjoyed it. The atmosphere was very chill and the cherry on top was that they held the door for us when we left. Definitely will be back!!

One of my top Restauranrts I visit with my family. They have an extensive menu for both Japanese and Thai dishes, with several different optiins for curries, dumplings, sushi and more! To start i usually go for shrimp dumplings, and my personal favorite dish is the Massaman Curry. If you arent too ethnic there is always the Garlic chicken (moms fav)

Super friendly service, and great food! As someone with Celiac, reactive to cross contamination, I was very grateful that they were aware and had gluten free soy sauce (Tamari) that I could use. I didn t order anything that I was worried about possible cross contamination happening with (I ordered sashimi, rice, edamame, and steamed vegetables) and had a great experience (did not get sick and really enjoyed my meal).

Bring a jacket, they keep this place too cold. The food is good.

First and most important, this restaurant is open late! That in itself would give it an extra star or two, however, not only was I able to get a late meal, I left happy and full! The parking lot is dimly lit and the windows are tinted but when you walk inside your whole world gets a little brighter. You re greeted by a beautiful host who quickly seats you and, almost instantly, another happy person greets you at the table eager to help you satisfy your hunger! We had the veggie spring rolls, veggie soup and drunken noodles and Pad See Eiew. The meal was fantastic and affordable! I will definitely return when I m back in town! Happy people work here!!

For a nice night out or treating ourselves, Moon Thai is a go to. Theres a wide variety and Ive never been disappointed.

Nice place,it s our second time coming with family. There was no wait Thursday night, which was great. We had sake, 2 rice dishes and a assortment of sushi and 3 great appetizers. It s a must try if your in the area. The staff was really nice and attentive. We try to visit every summer.

The atmosphere is amazing such a great scenery. The food taste authentic has well. Don t have to pay for parking which is always a plus.

We used to go to Moon Thai frequently. Terrible experience tonight. Get home the rice ( brown) smells terrible. Tofu and veggies are hard to screw up but essentially tasted like salt. On top of this their prices are up 25 to 30%. I don t mind paying for great food. I won t be back.

We were truly in the mood for some delicious Thai food, and with the bad late afternoon Florida weather, we decided to order and have it delivered. DO NOT DO THIS! Patron BEWARE! The person picking up our $100.00 order took our food and disappeared, which means the restaurant never asked for pick credentials . Two exhausting hours later in phone discussions with both the restaurant AND Door Dash, and we finally got our money back. Door Dash - who stole our food - never refunded our delivery cost. Ridiculous!!! This stuff may happen, but response is KEY! We shouldn t have had to exert this much effort to get our money back! We shouldn t have been questioned about our customer loyalty! We shouldn t have lost one penny!!! We shouldn t have to doubt whether our meal will ever show up! We will NEVER eat there again! We will NEVER agree to Door Dash service!

Got the Moon Thai lamb and it was good with a different twist on preparing lamb. Got a slightly sweet bit flavorful taste to it. Would definitely order it again. Dining experience was good overall though it took awhile to get our food served.

Used to be my favorite restaurant for 10 years but last 2 visits were terrible. This time they brought us wrong appetizer, main food was cold and not appetizing. Our waiter never came back to check on us so finally I went to the front and said something to the manager who did not care or even respond to what I said. Sadly won t be back again.

Their lunch specials are very good and with soup and salad. Prices are reasonable and good value. Besides being very tasty.

Very disappointed with recent Thai food orders. Average price per meal take-out was $30 so not cheap at all which is fine because the food is usually worth it but when you continue to barely find the chicken you ordered in your pad Thai and your Penang curry you begin to feel ripped off. The last order was handled through Uber eats (who were on point with their service) and I called the manager to complain and he said I needed to complain via Uber eats and they will refund me and this ticked me off further. Not interested in wasting my time further . Will just simply avoid ordering Thai food from them in future.

Update: My latest experience has been terrible so Im changing to 1 star. Ordered takeout and the drunken noodles w pork smell rancid like they used old pork. The madai nigiri tasted so bad and fishy, not fresh and Ive had madai fish at many other places and this was nothing like it. Called to ask for a refund and was refused outright. For the price I expected better from them. $20 for a noodle dish and $24 for 2 pieces of sushi. Never again. ----- Love this place! The green curry is amazing. Although their tom yum soup doesnt taste right, most of other dishes are really good. Try the pad see ew!

First time trying out this Thai and sushi Restaurant. Soup and pad Thai was very delicious, can not complaint! But my basil beef dish was cold in the first place and server took it to reheat or recook( dish came back with out bother to change new plate) and it was flavorless too! Pretty disappointed!

This place was AMAZING. Me and my boyfriend had our half a year anniversary and we wanted to do something special so we simply searched up mango stick rice near us and picked the nicest place, and we don t regret it even the slightest. The host, was super nice, had a nice conversation with her on my way out. In general, everyone there was delightful and extremely helpful. And the server? Our server was Nick, and he was top down one of our best servers ever. Me and my boyfriend had ordered the Thai Tea and that changed our lives. It was absolutely amazing. We got pan fried chicken dumplings for our appetizer, and they were simply amazing. Especially with the AMAZING soy sauce, personally Im not a big soy sauce fan, but this place had such a great soy sauce, not too salty at all. And the sushi??? To die for. They were amazing. Our server brought over this sauce for us to try, it was a bit spicy but yet flavorful I cant recall the name, but it was amazing. The prices were great. Very affordable. And then the dessert???? We had the donuts which were AMAZING, I was tempted to buy more lol. And the mango sticky rice??? For my first time trying it, it was amazing..My boyfriend even put the sauce from the donuts on top of the mango and it was just phenomenal. Very chill place, loved the setting, loved the people, loved the food, there s nothing I would ve changed about last night. I definitely recommend coming here and giving a nice tip to these wonderful people. We will DEFINITELY be returning next payday, without a doubt. Don t second think it. Just go here! :))

The food tasted good and was served really fast which is great. The waiter was nice and the hostess was also really nice. My only complaint is my salmon rolls will not hold together. So it was tough to eat with chopsticks so I ended up eating with a fork. If it wasnt for that they would have got a five. I also found it a bit pricey for the quality.

Weve been dining here frequently since 2019, had not been back since 2021. We even brought friends visiting from abroad to dine here. However mark-up of menu prices have soared and are ridiculously high and over, over priced !!!! There are plenty of other Thai Japanese restaurants in the Weston area with excellent food and MUCH, MUCH lower prices !!! Avoid eating here !!!.....

Thank you for making my daughters birthday special. The manager came and talked to her in person and when he knew it was her birthday, waiters and employees showed up singing. She felt really special! And she asked to go to Moon Thai for dinner.

Moon Thai and Japanese Restaurant was a wonderful experience. From the moment you walk in the door the friendly staff is taking care of you up until the time you depart. The decor is amazing and the bar area stunning. The food was spot on. And Sushi was super fresh. Thai Menu with both sticky rice and Larb.

I love this place. And it feels like being at home. The attention of the staff is unique

Great place! Food is always good, friendly staff. We have been going here for many years, but last week was the first time I tried their wonton soup bowl! It was the best I ve ever had, tasted like my mom s!

All the food was good buttt.... I have never ever had a volcano roll topped with conch instead of salmon. When I ordered it I didnt even look at what the roll contained because I have ordered volcano rolls at many many restaurants and have always had salmon on top not conch or what really seemed like calamari. Wasnt happy with this roll.
