Ordered for pick up. Gave away my order to someone else and had to wait longer for the food to be remade, and did not offer any compensation for their error.

Husband picked up our dinner order tonight and we were missing many items. I called the restaurant to let them know and the lady argued with me saying she packed everything. I tried to tell her the items I was missing (35+ dollars worth of food) and she continued to argue with me. Why would I lie ??? After our argument she finally agreed to send me the missing items. Wont be going back

New to Windsor and tried a few takeout places in the area. Blue Sky Garden is by far the best. Food is fresh, great service.

Went to the restaurant today and had an egg drop soup without any egg in it and way too much thickening. Also they charged me extra for no reason and didnt tell me ahead of time, I dont like when a restaurant does that to you. I definitely will think twice before going there again.

Since New Year s Eve is a busy day for any restaurant, we decided to order our food ahead of time and have it delivered. I put the order in at around 9:30am. One of the items we ordered was the stir fry chicken and snow peas. I got a call as soon as they opened to let me know that they were sorry but they couldn t make the item. I was actually at work and they called 5 times trying to get a hold of me. I ended up getting something else. Not only was the food great, as it always is, but what awesome customer service! I would recommend Blue Sky Garden Restaurant anytime

We went for my husbands birthday. We went early on a weeknight. It wasnt busy - the staff were very friendly and prompt with service. The food was the best Ive ever had in this area.

I have order from Blue Sky before and it was really good . Order last night and the egg rolls were so soggy and full of greese i could use the greese to cook in a frying pan . So disapointing when you have company over and you tell them it was really good that i had ordered from them before .Do something about your egg rolls . They are aweful.

We come here for dinner because they have the best Chinese food around. There is always someone to greet you when you come into their restaurant. Food arrives hot, and the service is great! They have Gluten-free options, which not too many places can offer!

Terrible, gross, tasteless and there was a grey glob of something in my Hot and Sour Soup. If you are 70- 80 years old you might like this underwhelming Canadian bastardized attempt at Chinese cuisine.

I will never go here again. We placed a large take out order for over $200 and when we got home, realized one of the dishes we ordered had pork. This wasnt specified on the menu and we dont eat pork, so we went back with the dish and said we would like to switch the dish without the pork. They refused and started arguing, we didnt even ask for a refund, just a replacement dish. Absolutely horrible customer service, for a $10 dish out of $200 they made such a huge fuss. And the food didnt even taste good. Dont waste your time going here

4years ago I ordered from here and was so disappointed i swore i would never order from them again, fast forward to today and not to many great chinese food places that will deliver in the east end, and not sure if they changed cooks or owners but food was tremendous, quick delivery, food was fresh and hot, THANK YOU BLUE SKY

Between the constant incorrect takeout orders and the growing prices, compounded by the fact that there is excessive added cost again for Visa AND debit transactions.... Ill be ordering elsewhere in the future. Its sad because weve been a customer there for many years.

Delicious Singapore vermicelli and General Tso chicken

This was my first time at Blue Sky Garden and it wont be my last. I wanted to write a review because they deserve it more than most. My Daughter and I always order 2 things at Chinese restaurants, Cantonese lo mein ( a noodle dish) and sweet and sour chicken balls. one is simple and one is a bit more complicated. Many restaurants get one of them right but it is a rare thing indeed to get both of them right and guess what, Blue sky did. the food was hot, tasty and quick and the service was great and with a smile. I cant say enough how pleased we both were with our visit. Our server also recommended the spicy Shrimp dish to us and boy was that good too. I have found my new favourite Chinese food restaurant for sure and I will be back. Blue Sky, do what you can to not lose that chef and thank you again!

Ordered based on recommendation from a stranger, and they were bang on! Good prices and portions for our takeaway order, which was ready on time and still hot when we got home. Tastes were acceptable and would definitely return. The interior was nice, so dining in should be pleasant as well. Food

Was really hoping to love this place but I was very disappointed. Growing up in a Chinese family I know what chinese food is supposed to be like. My kids love noodles so we ordered two different noodles (chow mein and rice noodles) and some other stuff. On my drive home with the food I could smell something that smelled burnt. Sure enough, when we got home and opened the containers (both noodles) it was a terrible burnt food smell (ever burn soup and smell it...thats what it smelled like). The veggies and noodles were visibly black. I called to advise them I was disappointed and even my kids wouldnt eat it. They returned my call to tell me thats how they cook the noodles, theyre supposed to be burnt. Im sorry...Ive been eating Chow mein my whole life...actual crispy chow mein and never once have my noodles smelt BURNT nor have they been visibly burnt. The smell was nauseating. I have my go to Chinese restaurant in Windsor but I thought Id give this a try since Lakeshore doesnt have authentic Chinese food. Unfortunately, not a good take out experience for my family. I hope this doesnt happen to others. Waste of my $ and a 20 min drive to pickup!

The food and portions are amazing, as all of the staff. But for whatever reason, wait times are insane. I ordered food at 545, told 1 hour. Its now 755, and Ill still waiting. Not that busy in here, and Im not the only one. Unfortunately, with this. Will be our last time ordering from here. Staff and food are great, and it sucks not to support a local establishment, but when people are relying on you to come home with food and more than 2 hours after ordering...only reason for the 1 star

Food and service was amazing for the Billy Joel / piano man dinner / music show but acoustics in the room were very poor though the band was good.

A very quiet lunchtime visit, making atmosphere difficult to judge. Food was freshly prepared as you would expect and very generous portions, but extremely slow delivery from the kitchen spoiled an otherwise good experience.

I eat here alot. It does get busy during dinner. I def fecommend paying with cash (you get a discount) and over 35 dollars a free dish --fried noodles. Amazing. Everyone wears a mask... There is dine in available (its during covid so i would check first). Ive ate here many times with no issues.

Found a pebble/rock in my chicken fried rice. Ive ordered from here a few times and the quality of food has been low... The owners can respond how they want but its not my job to find out how a rock got in my rice. If you walked by the back of this place and saw inside there kitchen you would know the standards are pretty low. Send you a photo of the rice I threw out instantly? No thanks.

Boy, has this place sure gone downhill. Was great when they first opened, now they cant get an order right! Will NEVER eat here again. The fried rice tastes like bad breath, if that makes sense. General Tao portions are VERY stingy, not to mention no spice. Tastes like ketchup smh Extremely disappointed.

I usually love getting food from this restaurant. The amount of food you get is great for the price you pay and and it taste great. I always thought the staff is exceptionally nice and friendly in contrary of any other Chinese restaurants I dined in, but today the waitress inside was strangely unfriendly to a point of ruining my mood. She was rushing us to order and walked away from us as we were ordering. She couldn t keep up with her job and the restaurant was not even 50% occupied. It was obvious she didn t enjoy herself working there. Besides the service of that one waitress I strongly recommend this restaurant!

I went in for lunch today and had the #2 combination plate. It was very enjoyable and the portion was huge!. Also, our waitress was wonderful. I will be bringing our sons in soon to try. Thank you!

First time trying Blue Sky Garden. We will definitely be back. We tried the General Tso chicken, Veggie spring roll, bean sprout noodle. Plus a few combination plate. Everything was delicious and the portions were great.

Amazing combos and family dinners alot of food

This is the first time we have been to the Blue Sky Garden. We heard the food was good by some people so we had to give it a try. The service was fast and the staff was fun, friendly attentive. The food was excellent and you get a lot for the money. We definitely will be going back.

Decided to grab food on our first time in the Windsor area. When we initially got the food the person seemed annoyed by our presense and did not have a good attitude towards us. We got combos 5 and 20, most of which was just straight rice and was bland, dry and without flavour. Now on top of all of that my girlfriend was unable to finish her food because it was disgusting and she became unwell with alot of pain soon after we disposed of the plate. Will not be giving business there further.

Good selection of of asian american foods with some authentic chinese food. This is good because I perfer the authentic. but my Sisters perfer the asian american. Its best to pick up your order as their delivery area is quite small and they charge for debit use. So have cash for your order if deliverd. Over all well worth the effort.

My son was visiting from out of town, so we ordered here. After he finished his 3rd plate of food, his comment was I didnt plan to eat that much, but it was so good.

We were looking for a local chinese resturant and after reading the reviews for Blue Sky Garden, we decided to give it a try. There was a hair in my rice which I communicated to our waitress, her and two other resturant employees dug it out from the rice claiming that no one there had hair of this color. They took it to the kitchen, came back and held it in a way that implied it was my hair. I have long blond hair, not short coarse grey hair. Then she proceeded to tell me that she would give me a discount but I would still be charged. I had no interest in finishing my meal, wasnt looking for a free meal, was charged full price, however, the tax was deducted. I was insulted by their assumptions, response and lack of professionalism. Truly pathetic.

This place is a joke. Worst chinese food I have ever eaten. Called and placed an order for pick up and was told on the phone when it would be ready. Got there on time, paid my bill, and waited another 40 minutes. So obviously they dont make your food until you arrive and pay first. The food was definitely not worth the wait.... it was terrible will never go back.

I picked up an order and was received lemon sauce rather than gravy and I am allergic to citrus. They literally Brought gravy to my home. Food is spectacular. I will always recommend.

Service was EXTREMELY slow on Christmas. They were definitely overwhelmed with all the call-ahead orders, but the food was delicious once we got it.

Unfortunately, this was terrible. Undercooked seafood. Overcooked beef. Grease-saturated spring rolls. Old, burnt noodles and rice. Bland. Cannot recommend.

Ordered dinner for two. Fried Rice was quite salty and dry...seemed as if it was sitting pre-made for a while.

Couldnt believe what a horrible meal we brought home. No taste on any item, cold, soggy, an they didnt include our freebie which we were entitled to after overspending on such a disappointing meal - it was even listed on the receipt for us to receive free item. No more favourable recommendations from me. First couple of visits were great, now they have gone down hill in a huge way. Called them with above message, they could not care any less!

Great food! I am new to Windsor and I love Chinese food... this is the best I have found so far! The staff is very friendly and professional. I had the pleasure of interacting with Josh. He was great! The food is a bit more pricey than other restaurants, but the quality mostly makes up for it Ill definitely be back!

Please be cautious when going or ordering food from here. I was dining in the restaurant July 23 2021 for lunch and found a cigarette butt in my food. I m dealing with it however I think people should be aware if they chose to eat here.

Admittingly, they took a long time, they said 45 minutes for pickup, but when I got there it was another 30 minutes and a lot of other people were waiting. Got to say everything was good, portions were generous and we ate for 3 days. Only other gripe is they didnt have the usual plum sauce, but duck sauce which nobody liked. Not a deal breaker, we had our own.

Brutal experience. An hour and a half for delivery, the wrong fried rice, no sauce for the chicken balls, chop suey all over the delivery bag. Lots of other places in town instead of theses guys. Avoid at all cost.

Come here regularly when I come home from Toronto, with my great aunt and uncle as well as my mom. Service is always very good, and the food as well. Very reasonable, highly recommend.

Amazing customer servace. Always tables available even during a lunch rush. Very cheep beer if your feeling like it. Cheep food, but amazing quality for the price. I always get the Lemon Chicken and Beef with vegetables. Always fills me up for $12 The beef feels like its just melting in your mouth. 10/10 Will always take the extra 35 minute drive to go there.

I ordered from here for the first time, this past week, and Ill definitely be returning for more! First-off, their online ordering system is fantastic! I found it very easy to use and loved that it actually verified with the restaurant to get an accurate timeframe for me to arrive. With one minor exception, the food was delicious. The mixed seafood with black-bean sauce was very tasty; it really hit the spot. The Szechuan beef was outstanding; Sweet, savoury, a little spicy but not overpowering. And the Hong Kong Style Sweet and Sour Chicken was some of the best Ive ever had. They all left me wanting more! I found the Hot and Sour Soup to be lacking in a few ways. The flavour wasnt great and it was very thick, to the point where there were clumps of congealed starch in it. Also, in a large bowl of Hot and Sour, I normally expect several shrimp and some pork and this bowl had none. Disappointing but not a deal-breaker. The person who gave me my order was very friendly and upbeat and - despite the dining area being closed to guests - I could see that the restaurant was very nicely decorated and appointed. Solid 4-star experience and, if the soup were remedied, it would be a 5 for sure.
