Good service, good food, friendly staff, good value, esp early bird morning breakfast special.

Breakfast on a Saturday morning was delicious. Great service. Great atmosphere. Fantastic food!

Ordered two crispy chicken sandwiches, the chicken was entirely grey. I couldn t bring myself to eat them, was very off putting. Fries were good though.

I ll visit this place for breakfast every time I m in Windsor. Really perfect home fries, good scrambled eggs and fresh coffee. Also very well priced. I ll be going back for sure!

Chill spot for an early brekky. They had plenty of open tables at 7:30am, though they were starting to fill up a bit by 8. We were grabbing a quick bite on our way to the train station. They were super nice about our being in a rush. Good food reasonably priced. And they were also kind about me being unable to read the menu correctly before coffee, lol. I had the classic, eggs toast bacon and homefries (basically fried potatoes cubes with salt, very tasty). My dining partner had the avocado toast (they already own a house, its fine), which was more loaded than expected, but pleasantly so. All tasty! The coffee was coffee. Nothing super fancy, but did the job. Putting on my list for places to hit when I have some time before catching the train! Remember to bring change for the parking meter, or get the Windsor parking app. Parking: Theres a few street parking spots, metered. Theres more parking in a lot nearby, not sure of the cost difference. No free parking that I saw.

The food is possibly the best meal I ve ever had, all the food was hot, came fast, and incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and nice for a street diner. Our waitress was incredibly kind and such an amazing person, one of the best restaurant experiences I ve ever had.

The food is very fresh and delicious, and the service is exceptional. It definitely has a diner vibe with few tables, but many seats at the bar as well.

I decided to try this restaurant today and was severely disappointed. They advertise their one meal as stuffed with cream cheese French toast. There wasn t even a small even layer of cream cheese. The French toast wasn t even toasted at all. The bread was raw. Not served with syrup either so I couldn t bring myself to eat it. I also did not ask for chocolate chips but they were added. It was honestly really disappointing. There a lot of really good French toast spots in Windsor so I wouldn t recommend coming here.

Worst experienced we ever had. They let us waited 1 hr and served others who arrived after us. One table just came like 10 mins and served right away. They dont even notice that our orders have never been served yet. We decided just to leave and pay the coffee. Maybe because we are Asian. If theres zero star, thats my score. Not recommend to anyone. The only mistakes us we did not read the reviews before we went there.

Since the new management change this past October, the last 8 or so Uber eats deliveries have been great! Everything was fresh and delicious and great prices too. Then I get my breakfast sandwich and home fries this morning and my mouth is coated in rancid oil. Absolutely disgusting, basically a completely inedible order. Hopefully the business sees this and ensures to change their oil out enough but that was super nasty to eat. Probably will just cook my own breakfasts (even though I d much rather have a lazy, stay-in-bed Sunday ) or maybe drive to Kava in Lasalle for their delicious almond croissant.

Had a great experience at Chatham Street Diner this morning. My boyfriend and I went in for the January Special featuring two cinnamon pancakes, two eggs, sausage, bacon and toast for a score of a price tag at $6. The service was awesome, the food was great and overall a good atmosphere and a great deal. Will return every day of this month to get that special. Parking: Parking out front, super convenient!

Went for their January breakfast special today. A huge portion for only 6$. The service was good and we didnt have to wait long for our food. I especially liked their potatoes and the bread they use for toast. Will be back again.

Was really looking forward to trying thier breakfast. Waited to be seated. Waitress seemed like she did not wanna be there. Not a very welcoming 1rst impression. When seated she asked if we wanted coffee we said yes. Not sure what the proper etiquette is to wait but we waited 10mins no coffee and walked out. Maybe she was having a bad day ....I would like to give this place another chance one day. It would not be fare for me to rate this place at this moment. But when entering an establishment for the 1rst time a hello with a smile would be a good start.

Great affordable breakfast spot in the heart of downtown Windsor the food was excellent and the Server was very polite and professional I d definitely recommend this place for a nice breakfast support local thier Buisness hours are 8am-2pm they are open 7 days a week !!

Upset with my experience going here today. Went to get breakfast, was told we had to sit at the bar when there was a table open (and never used the whole time we were there before close) and multiple tables became open afterward which we were never offered to move from bar. Served coffee and waited 10 mins for sugar and spoons. Ordered 2 breakfasts and waited 40 mins (there was only us and one other table) with no refill on coffee or update, only to be given our food finally and offered a coffee refill from the thermos that had been sitting on the counter for the last hour we had been there. We used to love going here but not sure if there s new owners/management but the staff there now needs to care more.

Paid for cheese and onions on both homefries($8) did not receive. Eggs ordered over easy 1 broken 1 over hard 1 ok.

Its a nice place to grab breakfast or brunch, offers some good options. But the food could have been better. Egg Benedict was not upto the mark their Hollandaise sauce was quite flat. Omlette was good. The atmosphere is good and wasnt too loud. Needs to improve on the taste of food.

I had the waffle strawberry creamcheese with bacon, and my wife had a delicious breakfast. Coffee was hot and served immediately. There was a problem with another table, and the owner/server was able to handle it diligently and patiently even though the customer was a bit over the top with complaining. We were so impressed by this restaurant. Definitely a go to for breakfast anytime!!

Amazing food and service! I had seen the diner had a March special on so decided to try it out. Not only were the portion sizes huge, the food tasted great! The owner came over and introduced himself and asked how our food tasted. And our server was also very friendly. My children were entertained with the colouring books and crayons available. Got breakfast delivered, crammed everything in one container, three eggs, potatoes meat AND the side of pancakes that for $8 should have been a bit bigger than McDonald s,had the big breakfast with three meats only got three tiny pieces of bacon , very disappointed

Best hashbrown potatoes Ive ever had. My husband and I were super pleased with our food here. Delicious and not too expensive. Our waitress was friendly and welcoming. The only downfall was that there wasnt a lot of seating, despite how big the dining area was.

Ordered through Uber Eats. Took an hour to be delivered for the worst food I have ever tasted. I ordered a club sandwich but asked for no meat, I outlined in the special instructions exactly what I wanted on the sandwich and they didn t even bother to read it. Much to my dismay, they delivered me a sandwich with not one thing I asked for. The fries were also horrible. I wouldn t even give this place 1 star but 0 wasn t an option.

Not very busy. Walked in and was greeted from the gentlemen at the back. Let us know from back there we can sit back there. Walked over there was one table available. Server was not overly friendly but wasn t rude either. Took about 40 minutes to get our breakfast from the time of ordering. I enjoyed my breakfast, was tasty. Home fries were the best I ve had. Season was spot on. Will go back.

The food we had was great, steak is on point and cooked perfectly. The owner was very polite and very attentive. Will go back again and will be visiting their other restaurant as well. I had an omelette with mushrooms, tomatoes and can t have bread/potatoes. I was offered sliced tomatoes which were actually good, didn t taste like a greenhouse. My fiancee had eggs Benedict with steak. His eggs were done the way he asked and the steak was done med rare. Very soft and full of flavour. Go give it a shot.

The food was really good, $5 special got you a ton of food! However it was completely tainted by the service experience, we were placed and everyone got their order who were after us, before we were even asked what we wanted to drink, I felt like you had to constantly bug and ask to be served, and when they took our order they said we couldn t order over easy eggs or the kitchen would be mad because of the extra time we had 2 options of eggs to choose from, to another lady next to us, they said the same thing and she had to constantly ask for drinks/food etc. It was unfortunate as the food was delicious but the experience with service there was just not the best, the staff wasn t rude, they seemed understaffed.

2 years ago this place was amazing was sad to see there is new owners and everything taste and looks different they are using the same menu but nothing is like the old hood home made food it used to be .

This place is always our go to when ordering. We ordered via Uber eats. A standard breakfast and a breakfast clubhouse. Unfortunately, the over easy eggs were overcooked and the bacon was undercooked in both meals. I didn t notice until I took a bite of my sandwich, then my partner opened his meal and the bacon was also not fully cooked.

Staff was very friendly. *Do not go by their current menu online. The items and prices are significantly different. *My 4 stars instead of 5 is in reflection of how expensive they were. TERRIBLE SERVICE of ALL TIME If you get there a little bit past two, then you will hear the waitress complains to her coworker super loudly that why dont they come here at three? I have to finish all cleaning at last minute. Well, before that she didnt even greet you at all, so if anyone of you would go there I would suggest you to get there at 7, then the waitress can have six hours to do her no-brain needed job.

I found this piece of metal in my eggs while attempting to eat my food this morning. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of food safety from this restaurant. The restaurant wont even answer the phone to deal with this situation, so I must leave this review for everyone to know how they deal with this sort of situation. Sad really. Wont be ordering from here again.

First visit today. Very good buffalo wrap and breakfast burrito, super reasonable and convenient location to walk from a waterfront parking lot. Breakfast potatoes cooked perfectly and very flavourful. Menu prices need to be updated on line. Says 3 egg omelette with 4 ingredients $11 but is actually $14 which is why I didnt get it. Nice little spot, will go back.

Coming down to the Chatham street diner has always been delightful with such great customer service! But today was nothing but frustration for me, and Im sure for others around me as well. The server was great, shes very enthusiastic about her job, and tries to stay on top of all the orders, but with no help she falls behind and forgets things. I was there for an hour and a half, which should of been an hr max. I had to wait numerous times for my slices of tomatoes that I wanted to eat with the rest of the now cold breakfast. I also asked for extra napkins that should of just been brought to us with the food, in which I still never ended up getting, and just decided to grab paper towel from the bathroom. After my ice coffee was finished, I should of been asked if I wanted more or something else to drink, but I waited on the waitress and finally asked for an ice water, which again took some time to get, as I know she was very busy with the other customers. She is such a great aspect to the restaurant and it would really help if there were two of her! Ive been coming to your restaurant now for awhile. I know a couple cooks and waitresses that have worked for you, not just at this establishment but also a couple others as well; the patio, just to name one, and Ive never felt such frustration, for myself and a waitress as well. Im not writing to you for any compensation, or recognition. Im just reaching out to you on behalf of your regular customers, to help with lightening the load of the waitress, to be able to enjoy the atmosphere more! Great food, great customer service. Wait time, with one waitress, sucks.

This is our favorite breakfast place in the city but its far from us so we always opt for delivery, 9/10 they cancel our order after 40 minutes of waiting. Their food is amazing whenever you ACTUALLY get the chance to eat it.

Randomly not open on a Tuesday at 09:45. Everything, including their own sign hung in their window, says they should be open. Great way to operate a business!

When the food is good, its great. The problem lies in the fact that either their cooks or wait staff just dont care about what their customers order. The most recent issue was when I ordered 2 big breakfasts. I received poorly cooked sunny side eggs instead of the over easy I ordered in both meals, the home fries were both over and undercooked, received ham instead of pemeal and slightly warm bread instead of toast. Honestly, its a gamble because when its good its really good, but when its bad, its awful.

Today I decided to go shopping at Anacoco Market. I found my favorite boiled nail polish there and immediately grabbed some. But then I ran into my high school bully and they slammed me into the freezer. I then got sucked in and ended up here. I held a gun with bubbles in it up to the chef and forced them to make me a soup with desk wood shavings and a shattered light bulb. They ended up finishing it with shaky hands but it was still amazing. I even added my previously purchased boiled nail polish on it. Get here now.

I cant even explain to you how good their food is and how amazing their prices are. Update: I came there one Saturday morning and now Sunday morning both of which they advertise are open till 3 PM only to realize their doors are locked. Please update your hours or stay committed to you I was advertised as it is now a nuisance to come here for nothing.

I ve become disappointed in the quality of service and food here lately, coming a lot from someone who doesn t usually want to waste the effort to complain about something. I used to love the quality of food being served here but now it s become rushed/messy plates, missing items and no contact to a customer to inform them of changes to a paid order. I can understand if a place is going through a tough time, but this place provides straight up no communication when an issue arises. Take more time with your orders if it means your customers will get exactly what they requested and paid for. Took a while for my order to arrive that day but I was patient until it arrived completely wrong and missing the things my partner and I ordered. If it s just a mix in staff that maybe doesn t have the same quality control as whoever used to make things great there, let your customers know or something. Either way, I ve lost hope for enjoying another meal here. It s just a risky gamble of Will I get what I ordered?

Went there during the weekend. There was only one waitress who had to do and take care of everything which is not fair at all. The breakfast was okay though the fries were burnt and horrible. Also, make sure they have enough food before going. Peope came after us and waited and they were told that they dont have any food left anymore.

Always a great breakfast option. The food portions are generous and theyre always accommodating for any special requests. Parking is meter parking our front. Theres also a city pay garage less than half a block away.

Little dinner where you can get a great quick hot breakfast to start the day the right way. I was craving a breakfast sandwich and they delivered. The potatoes were super crispy and perfectly cooked. Was early on a Wednesday morning with few people but it was cozy and nice. There is a big section without tables which makes it a bit awkward and sad knowing that everyone is still struggling. So go and be a part of their success.

Okay start with the positive stuff but was some stuff that definitely could have been done better. First impressions customer service was beyond excellent, friendly and helpful and welcoming, prices are amazing, place is clean and friendly environment. Food everything but what I will be talking about (steak and poached eggs) was 10/10. Now reviews are meant to help places know where to improve so yes many things were amazing but this is why 4/5 stars. Ordered steak breakfast combo with a bagel instead and cream cheese, and grilled onions, cheese and shredded onions added to both my combos fries. Neither fries had green onions on them that I paid extra for $1.6 gone, bagel did not come with cream cheese either was pretty disappointed at that. Ordered whipped cream on the sufe for pancakes with both combos didnt receive one. Steak was okay for its price but little flavor was very watery, cooked the way I asked but could have been a lot better. 2 poached eggs I ordered unfortunate to say was the worst poached eggs Ive had before, very watery and done poorly. And bacon was very dry and hard. So those things could have been a lot better but, everything else was amazing, I do recommend this place and would go back it just needs some improvements and to not rush things as thats how things are missed or not done well. Overall tho was great food and experience and priced well, made very quickly.

My girlfriend and I stopped by for breakfast this past weekend and ended up finding our new favourite spot. The staff was super friendly, they made sure our table was cleaned up well and quick before we took a seat, and we were treated with great service despite the busy morning. The coffee was awesome, the food was unmatched, and the prices were shockingly low. Some of the items were available for as low as $3.50-$4.00. We never felt rushed or forgotten about, and even on the way out they treated us like we were regulars. Well definitely be back, this isnt somewhere you want to miss out on.

Chatham Street is my co-worker s and I s go-to place for Sunday morning breakfast take-out. We always have multiple orders and they always do a great job at getting everything right. And they are a pretty busy place - there are always Skip the Dishes people showing up picking up orders. Staff is great and the prices are DYNAMITE! Highly recommend - although I ve never actually eaten inside, it appears to be nice and appears clean.

Customer service is excellent and food came out hot . They actually use the thick bacon and they dont cheap out on the quantity either. They use large eggs instead of the medium eggs that most a breakfast place use. I left full and happy. I recommend this place.

Accepted my order then waited until 15mins before dropoff time to unilaterally cancel it. Apparently they cant even use the excuse that theyre busy, because Google says no ones there.

The pancakes are as fluffy as their prices are reasonable. The breakfast sandwich tastes amazing, better than those other guys by the bridge.

I ordered from Skip the Dishes. Ordered Pancake Combo, The Big Breakfast, and the Ham and Swiss sandwich. The meal was great! But, both the Ham and Swiss sandwich and the ham included in the Big Breakfast were extremely underwhelming. The cheese on the Ham and Swiss sandwich wasnt even swiss, it kind of seemed like it was just sliced Kraft cheese, which is extremely disappointing. I would have appreciated a call if menu items needed to be substituted or changed. The sandwich was the most disappointing of the items, and probably something I could have made at home with more satisfaction and less money spent- even with the kraft cheese. All in all, a good meal. Id order from here again, but Id probably avoid any sandwich or anything with ham. The pancakes were great and so were the scrambled eggs. Ill update my review if I ever end up going in to eat!
