Food is ok. Bought onion rings, and the batter was cooked but not the onions. They should dedicated a couple parking spots for orders that take a long time. Was waiting in the drive-thru way too long.

Ordered a custom cake online that was supposed to have a printed image on it. Got there and she couldn t find my order at first, I said it s got a yellow border on the top and a pink border on the bottom she brings out and there s no image on it, I tell her I m not taking it with nothing on it so she tells me to wait 2 min. Lo and behold the printer is not working! Obviously it wasn t working when they made the order and it still wasn t working when I got there. I placed the order 4 days in advance, why wasn t I contacted to be told that the printer wasn t working?? I left without a cake because I refuse to give my money to such a horrible business.

Made a purchase tonight totalling $16.02. Paid $20 cash and was given back $3 95. I inquired and was told this is how we do it, we only round down. I should have gotten $4.00 change back not $3.95. The staff should be taught proper change back techniques. The cashier also looked annoyed that people were actually there. Smiles should be automatic with customer service. **I reached out and heard nothing from a manager. This tells me that the manager does not care about the customer. Do better

Stopped in for something different and we had soft serve ice cream. Lets just say I already wanna go back The vanilla soft serve when dipped in chocolate was off the hook. Food

The floors are dirty, and incredibly sticky. Staff uniforms are extremely dirty (one looks like they threw up on themselves). A pile of trash infront of their cake freezers. The food is good, but given the appearance of the customer-area, I shudder to think what it looks like in the kitchen.

I am now boycotting all Dairy Queens after having to spend..are you ready..$8.69 for a frigging Peanut Buster Parfait!! What a ripoff!!!

2.5kg Ice-cream cake for $43(serves 12-18 perosn) is a reasonable price compare to bakery where 8 cake is starting at $45. Friendly and efficient staff. Staff knows the products, explained the contents and provided good suggestions.

I ordered 2 kids meals.....figured I would give them a treat. The fries were colder then the ice cream. I ask for fresh fries I am being looked at from the lady I asked as though I had 5 heads. Waited for the fries and they were still cold. If you are serving something at least have it the right temperature. GEEZ!!

In response to owners reply to my review: There is no way to rectify this situation, I was not calling to get a free meal nor is that the reason I wrote this review. You need to pay attention to order notes on deliveries or stop offering delivery because my daughter could have died if I hadnt checked her burger before giving it to her. You cant solve all your mistakes by offering free food! And I had to spend more money to buy her dinner from a different restaurant which I was happy to do in order to keep her alive .................................................................... This restaurant almost killed my daughter tonight because they choose to ignore order notes for my uber eats order and they put pickles and mustard on my daughters burger when I wrote in the introductions for it to be ketchup and cheese only Pickles can easily kill my daughter and the guy I talk to on the phone didnt even have the decency to apologize Pay attention to order notes before you kill someone

Last night my fiancée and I decided to treat ourselves to a Dairy Queen combo and a blizzard, the weather was dismal and the last month has been overwhelming for us to say the least, so we where after some comfort food on a budget. We decided to order inside as it appeared to be fairly empty and we could review our options while waiting in line. Burger fries and ice cream right? nothing crazy. Cheryl took our order and instantly made it a fantastic experience. She was very attentive to our orders, what we wanted, allowed us to use coupons and was such a breath of fresh air from the normal robotic fast food industry worker. Cheryl oversaw the kitchen staff and other workers, serving other customers and taking a cake order all while having a smile on her face, and she went over our order with the cook with a fine tooth comb to make sure everything was perfect. The fast food industry and the world need more people like Cheryl as I believe she is the last of the original hard workers that you ll find in this industry that do it all for the customers and not the paycheque. Thank you Cheryl, we will be back again no questions asked.

I always enjoy when I get a chance to have DQ. But I do find the prices a bit high expecially when waiting so long for food. The employees seem to think moving slow is normal.

Food was good, service was good, but I felt horrible for the teens serving everyone. So understaffed. Had to wait about 20 mins for our order.

Poutine barley had cheese or gravy. Fries didnt even look cooked. Purchased two burgers. One was a chicken burger. That was basically so dry I couldnt eat it. Onion rings were great but such a small portion for the price. Asked for a slushie mixed with soft serve and was handed a regular slushie. They did fix this prior to leaving.

The quality of service and food safety has gone out the window at this location. One should not be going back and forth from wiping tables and sweeping to handling food without washing hands. Unacceptable!

Usually good fries but sometimes undercooked. Ice cream is great but dont really care for the fruit chunks in some of the milkshakes.

Although the ice cream/ice cream cakes are delicious, the cost of taking the family out is quite expensive. I would go here more often if the price was right, but for now, its more of a special outing treat.

I went drive through today. Absolutely felt like there was big chaos in the store. Felt like bunch of school teenagers are running the store. Also it seemed very messy inside especially the topping section.

Went there this evening and they messed up my wifes order, the attendant and the window did not flip the blizzard because it was all melted. I do not recommend this location if you are looking for late-night ice cream.

I have never had an issue with the Dairy Queen on Manning Rd in Lakeshore with their ice-cream cakes until last week. I ordered an ice-cream cake with vanilla layer on top, chocolate for the bottom layer and strawberries in the center. I picked it up the next day and I was VERY disappointed. There was a chunck of strawberries off to the side on top. The icing did not cover the strawberries in the center. There was hardly any chocolate ice-cream for the lower layer of the cake. The decorative icing along the edges were very uneven. It looked like an inexperienced toddler made it! I told the cashier and she got the manager (man manager). He was trying to fluff it off when I replied...is this acceptable to you? Would you feel good serving this to your family? He did give me 25% off of the price of the cake because as awful as it looked, I still needed it for a birthday that day. I didnt realize that I was overcharged for this cake. They quoted a price of approx $35 and I didnt notice until I got home that I was charged $42. To be honest, I will never order an ice-cream cake from this location ever again.

Went here for some blizzards with the family. We had the most delightful experience with one of your staff, she was attentive and cheerful, a young girl with red hair. Blizzards were spot on as usual

My mom and I went in at 9pm on a Thursday night, and ordered two blizzards and one meal. From the time we ordered to leaving it was 25 mins. The manager had to come out and ask the cook where our food was, since our blizzards had been made 15 mins prior, and were starting to melt, but we chose to not have them remade because of how many other people were waiting for there food and to be served. Next time, we will be asking for them to be remade. We were just ready to get home at this point. The cook wasnt cooking the main meal, just onion rings, which they sat for 10 mins. The manager stood there watching what he was doing, I think to make sure he was cooking the food/doing his job? And I overheard him say the grill wasnt working properly so he had to use a different cooking surface? Which I think we should have been told as this was another cause of the long wait. By this time we left 3 other groups of people were waiting behind us. Weve never waited so long there before. I also was not comfortable seeing the cooks handling everything bare handed with no gloves, which is very unhygienic when using different surfaces, and by how busy it was, Im assuming the surfaces were not cleaned as often as they should be. I normally do not right bad reviews of businesses unless its justified or I feel the need to let other potential customers know.

I would give this a zero if I could, I used to love coming here for food and blizzard, tonight made my decision to not ever come back here again with my family, the place was sooooo dirty like unbelievable dirty but we ordered anyway since we loved the food, as the kid was making our food I notice he s using his hands to put my cheese curds in my poutine ok I turned my head, then as I sit and start eating I notice he is eating while making everyone s food so I stopped eating completely and went and threw my food right in the garbage and took a quick picture right before we left the door, and not to mention when I got my poutine it was ice cold completely! This needs to be dealt with from whoever owns this, even customers who we knew were in there were also complaining of how dirty it is. Maybe don t have a bunch of kids taking control and have someone in there who can actually run the place! The picture below is absolutely nothing compared to what you see behind the counter and not to mention the station where they make their blizzards!!!! I would be completely careful eating here if I were anyone going in anytime soon!!! Unfortunately these reviews are only reviews! Beware anyone who goes to this location on manning rd! Went through their drive through. My vehicle is tall enough that I could see the prep areas. Wish I hadn t!! The place is filthy!! How does this place pass health inspections? Filthy prep areas, filthy uniforms on their staff just a nasty place!

I ordered 3 chicken strips meal for $36 the chicken strips and the fries were very small , I had to take my kids to shawarma place right after that because dairy queen meal are a joke .

We ordered an ice cream cake. It was very expensive, but delicious. We left the decorating up to them. Were not sure why youd choose green lettering, then use green gel icing to decorate. It just looked rather messy. But that doesnt affect the flavor at all.

I ordered a very special anniversary ice cream cake with a photo on it. Not having done this before I physically went into the store. I explained to the girl the reason it was so important that this cake had to be done right. The girl at the counter was very nice and showed me an example of a cake they had done for someone else. We loved how it was decorated and said we wanted the exact same decoration on our cake. When we picked it up on our way to the anniversary, the cake was NOT decorated as we asked. The girl we had spoke with was not on duty so I returned on Monday to tell them I was not happy. We had paid for a specific cake but we did not get what we ordered. I asked for a refund. The girl consulted with the regional manager and they ended up giving us a store credit but would not give us a refund. I must say, the front counter staff was very good and my problem is not with them. The girl had taken a picture of how we wanted the cake decorated and had passed that information on. The problem was with the decorator not carrying out our wishes and doing her own thing. In my opinion we should have got a full refund and the decorator should have been given the bill to pay.

I thought it was unsanitary that the person making my food did not wear gloves and had a whole lot of beaded bracelets hanging over the food. It turned me off.

Please always check your receipt. I was overcharged, when I went back to get a refund the female Staff member was rude and couldnt do math. When I corrected her on the amount she got very confertational with me. Will not be going to this location again. This was not the first time I have had to correct the amount charged so please check your receipt before you leave.

I ve been ordering a banana-split blizzard, made with chocolate soft-serve instead of vanilla for YEARS! Ordered one from this location two weeks ago in fact. Went there today, and the supervisor advised the worker that they cannot do that I asked why, and was told I don t know, we just can t . I offered to pay extra, was told it isn t about money. I m sorry, but what in the actual f@$@!? I don t understand. I said, I ve never been told this before after ordering this same thing all the time for a decade or longer Extremely rude. I stated I wouldn t be ordering anything then, and they said okay. I guess they could care less about not making a sale and losing money. Thanks for ruining my day. Since when can t you sell something and make someone happy?! What is the difference?! Never going there again!!!

My little cousins and I were craving blizzards so I took them for a treat, looked at the state of the blizzard machine, we ended up getting vanilla ice cream. It was absolutely disgusting, chunks of various blizzard flavours all over the machine, floor, and walls. So gross.

I went to my local Dairy Queen because I heard about fantastic things the owners were doing with our local baseball community. I enjoyed the food and the ice cream a lot. The staff was friendly and the store was spotless. I will definitely be coming back for more delicious food at this location.

If this could be a no star review it would be. The general manager has no desire to speak to customers and couldnt care less about issues. Called, was promised a call back, then stopped in talked to a fantastic lady, stated the GM would be in that day and would call back, NOTHING. Would not talk to me about the below situation and this was back on September 17, 2022. Had a small pumpkin pie blizzard when it first came out this year, top had a some mixing but the rest of the blizzard was pure white. So when the BOGO $2 special came out we decided to go again but pay for extra toppings since it was a BOGO and the second one was supposed to be $2 as long as it was equal or lesser value, NO OTHER EXCEPTIONS stated on the coupon. Ordered 2 medium pumpkin pie blizzards, asked for extra toppings, and one with additional pecans. Got to the drive thru and was $18.57. They charged me $4.78 for extra toppings on the one blizzard which normally costs $6.69 and the BOGO was $2 plus another $3. Its one thing for a request of extra toppings to increase the cost of a product by almost 50% ($3 on a $6.69 product) but to also charge it on the bogo when it was actually cheaper than the first product is worthless. Will not ever go back to Dairy Queen. It was an expensive treat we enjoyed occasionally but when you have management not even willing to call a customer for something like this then they dont want my business.

Very bad experience with DQ tonight October 29th 2022 as my man and I went to DQ drive-thru and ordered 2 blizzards and a ice water and when the lady at drive -thru gave us napkins and a straw first before our blizzards and ice water in a tray a bug flew in my eye from the DQ restaurant window and got a spoon with a black mark on it and the bug is still stuck in my eye and I asked them to use the washroom to get it out and they said no . Pretty sad

While the drive thru line was long (reopening weekend and a gorgeous summer day). The staff worked quickly and the wait wasnt long at all. Major kudos to them. I asked for a small bowl so my dog could drink his water, and they didnt bat an eye about my request. I heard one girl say, remember the small bowl for her dog as they were handing out my order. We enjoyed our blizzards.

A great place for a soft ice cream or a large variety of Blizzards (served in a drinking cup but eaten with a spoon). Flavours including: Oreo, Cotton candy, Smarties, ... You can also enjoy a full meal ... or get their frozen ice cream cakes !

First purchase at DQ. Had a Great experience here. Waited for about 10 minutes in the drive thru but its okay. Id like to recognize an employee named Matthew for his great customer service skills. He was very friendly. About the order, it was simple choco dipped cone and it was good as well. Would try the butterscotch next time.

Terrible experience. My child found pieces of plastic in the cake. Cake was purchased Nov 27. My father went in to complain and brought the pieces in a zip lock bag. Management was supposed to calll back. Never did. I called last weekend again with all my information still no calll back!
