Great place, food was delicious

I absolutely love the Donair House. My fav place in Windsor.

Donairs arent a popular food item in Windsor but being from Halifax, I know a good donair when I taste one. And this is by far the best Ive had anywhere outside of Nova Scotia. The sauce is perfection! I would advise against the poutine because they use shredded cheese and thats just not right.

I love this place they have the best chicken delights and poutine. Underrated

If I could give this place a 10 star I would.

This is hands down the best place to get a Donair this side of Texas. Seven minute or less you fantastic meal is ready for pickup. the food is fresh and well priced. I would recommend to anyone to give them a try.

Owner, old lady was miserable and rude. If you dont like people why are you serving them? She was on her phone with the volume cranked and had her feet up on the fridge. Gross. Bathrooms were dirty

Wow we were absolutely blown away by how great the food tasted. It was honestly hard to stop eating it! We both agreed we wont be having donairs anywhere else. Everything was so fresh, hot and tasty and the service was absolutely unbeatable:)

BEST GREEK FRIES IN THE WORLD

I wish I got a picture but my goodness, loved the food. Could definitely tell its mom and pop made . Friendly service and it was very quick to get to the table, too. Since I worked out of town this week, this is my go to spot for Greek if Im down here! GJ in my opinion! I had the Donair meal. Delishhhh

Its simply the best gyro and donair place in the city/county area. They also have some of the best fries I have ever had. I dont know what sort of magic their fryer has, but I hope it never changes. Oh and dont forget your pop on the way out. Food

My wife is from the east coast and loves donairs. This place has her favourite donairs in the city. Vegetarian options: I tried the falafel pita for a Lenten Friday lunch and it was delicious.

Its been a few years since Ive had a Gyro from here, theyre still excellent. Fries as good as anyplace in Windsor. Avgo-lemono soup as good as any Ive had on Monroe st. in Detroit. (Greektown)

I will start with I love their donairs and salad. Amazing food. Sadly though the customer service would be a zero for me. The woman behind the counter is beyond rude and unbelievably unprofessional. Long time loyal customer no longer going!

The the food was excellent I try various menu items the whole family liked.the owner lady was supper nice and talkative to me and my son .She even let us try a sample of her fries . If you want good food just be patient and it will be worth the time spent.

Excellent food, with a great variety of options. Had the spicy chicken wrap and Greek salad, and was not disappointed. The gentleman that served me was very kind, and had the food out in less than 5 minutes. The prices are very good for the portions you get. Will definitely return, and would absolutely recommend. Just called to order dinner. Was craving a donair and salad. My husband isn t a big fan of feta cheese, asked for it on the side ..was told no. time to figure out alternative dinner options

Great food. I had a chicken gyro and it was delicious. staff is very friendly and warm. Unfortunately, this place does not have dine in. So, you have to either take it to go or it in your car. This is a little annoying. I would definitely go back for the food.

We placed a very large last minute order of 22 gyros & chicken delight combos for a work lunch & it was incredible! All combos were fresh, hot and consistent with ingredients and presentation. Our order was all being handled while they were still answering the phone and taking additional take out orders. Everyone here enjoyed their lunch very much and all have wanted to know were it came from. I think its fair to say you guys will have 20 plus new customers after today! Thankyou for your exceptional work under pressure , it was excellent and we really appreciated it !! WELL DONE!!!

Owner/older woman is extremely rude and ignorant! I asked for a few items to be on the side, one being the sauce and she lost it on me about how expensive the containers are and she is making the gyro the way it comes, I tried to say something and she continued to go off one me! I have been going here for years but today put that to an end! As I walked out she will still yelling at me and mad I was leaving because she already rang in my order! Good luck Donair House, because if you continue to treat customers like this, you will not make it!!

I have been going here for the past five years I have referred at least 50 people all of who have had nothing but the best things to say. This is by far one of the best places to eat in Windsor don t miss out on this one! Always great tasting food with a wide variety of items on their menu. Ive been going there around 10 years now and every single time ive experienced very fast and friendly service. Theres a lot of gyro/donair places to eat from but this is one of the very few Id highly recommend.

Went for the first time the other day because I was in the mood for Greek food. Best decision I ve ever made! It was perfect, I got their donair with Greek fries combo and it was an amazing blend of sweet and savoury. I recommend

I ordered lemon rice soup and it was the worst soup I ve ever had. I m not being excessive trust me. It was tasteless and I think it was dish water! Good luck at this place!

OMG guys. The Chicken Delight is more than just delightful. It is heaven in your mouth. SOOOOOO delicious. The sauce and the spices all rolled into a delectable a mouth watering pita. I went once before and i could not stop thinking about the chicken delight until I went and ordered it again. Your taste buds and stomach will thank you for it. 10 stars!!!

This owner, she is very disrespectful to her suppliers, she expects her supplies on demand, when I arrive to her restaurant, she is not happy with her delivery, when I say I shall try my best to bring her what she needs, she gets angry and needs it now , she spat on the ground at me, her partner tries to speak with her, but she just tells him to shut up , she gets very angry and called me innappropriate names, I do not recommend this place

Worst food. Sandwich costs 11 bucks and not worth it at all. Service is very bad the bald guy with the beard has absolutely ZERO experience and yell at customers and kicks them out.
