Have visited here several times and every visit the food has been exceptional. I am a huge connoisseur of Indian food and this is one of the best establishments in the area. We were served by Yatin who provided outstanding service. Highly recommend.
Positives: 1. Plenty of parking 2. Staff is very polite 3. Spacious facility although shows its age Negatives: 1. Between Roganjosh, Butter Chicken and Chillie Paneer did not like any. Roganjosh meat was under cooked. Butter chicken did not seem to be marinated at all. Chicken just dropped in the gravy which was sweet. Also undercooked. Chillie Paneer was slso sweet. Serving size was good. Lachha paratha was nothing special. Tandoori roti should be whole wheat. Will avoid.
Some dishes were ok. Others were not. Butter chicken was old and sweet tasting. The sauce was separating from the oil and was thick like mousse. The cheesecake had mold on it and smelt sour. I hope that I don't get sick from this food. I do not recommend.

The Samosa Chaat was amazing! Thank you! Only rating 4 stars because the other dish I ordered (which I apologize I can’t remember the name but it’s the 2nd picture) was apparently much better hot, and we got it served cold. But it was an outdoor event! Some things can’t be helped. Anyway, great food and service!
This restaurant was delicious! Very flavourful and meats were juicy and tender. The spices were well balanced and not overtly spicy (as long as you order the right spice level)! The service was pleasant and helpful. They were also very accommodating with my family's almond allergy (though be warned that nuts are used as garnishing so request when ordering). Highly recommend the tandoori lamb rack and onion bhaji (fritters).
Great food Great taste!! What Gem in windsor. Restraunt had really good vibes. We tried Delhi Butter Chicken , Allo Ghobi, Baigan masala, Veg Biryani , Dal Tarka , Garlice Naan ,Rice etc- all were perfectly made to perfection and taste. Price of the dishes justifies taste. Worth the price. Crew is friendly and fantastic. Lots of parking as its in Tecumseh town center. A must try !! you will love the food!
This new place is very good! The food is very delicious and the staffs are nice. Very nice place for friends gathering. Highly recommend the butter chicken and butter naan there - if you don’t eat very spicy food then recommend the non spicy version 😄 the best butter chicken that I have tried. First time tried the samosas chaat - very good too! Again choose non-spicy option if you can only eat slightly spicy 😄
Just visited this place again. Was used to be the best in town for everything. Waited for more than 20 mins just to get water and menus after sitting on table. No one knows what they were doing. Very disappointed with the service and food quality

We visited in the restaurant and we were 5people so without any information they charged us 15% fixed tip which is not a legal. Tip is own wish not there wish. If this is a criteria they should inform before sitting. We will not recommend to anyone those like to visit in a groups. Food : 2/5
#Worst food # low quality.. # Not worth the price. We have ordered lacha paratha with Kadak chicken.. They just added some green peppers & onions to Regular chicken curry which tastes very bad .. Not worth the price. Even the Biryani served cold and might be cooked few days back ( we can say that by looking at the rice), mutton pieces are so hard to chew.. we are two people and spent about 80$( which is so high for this quality food). Never wish to see them again.

Ive tried. Ive given this place 4 or 5 tries now. Some dishes have been good but the overpriced bad ones just dont cut it. Curry Goat was awful. The meat was tough and tasted off. The Roti was not good. Potions are just ok. Im sorry but there will be no more chances and I get Indian at least once a week.
Got Gobi Pranthas today. They were fresh, hot and very yummy!!!! Must try!!
Authentic Indian food the best
On Saturday at 5:20pm I called in my take out order of Lamb Briyani (SPICY) with 2 orders of Garlic Naan. Roughly $30 meal. My wife and I have sat in and dined 5 times before this and the food wasnt bad. I live 3 minutes away on Renaud St, and arrived at the stated time for pickup 5:45. Once I got the food back home I tore right into it, imagine my surprise though when upon opening it, the Naan was hot and fresh but the Briyani was hardly warm, and the spice quantity seemed very low which negatively impacted the flavor. My Wife have eaten take out from here 1 time before and the food was merely OK. This will likely be my last time ordering there.
On Friday, I ordered Dal Makhani, Goat Curry, Butter Chicken, and Garlic Naan for a Diwali party at my home on Manning Road, not far from India 47. It was my Canadian friend s first time trying Indian food, and I had really talked up how amazing it would be to him and his girlfriend. I picked up the food that evening, and honestly, it was disappointing. The Butter Chicken was overly sweet, and the Goat Curry lacked spice entirely. The rest was just average not the ideal introduction to Indian cuisine I d hoped to give. Really let down, especially since this wasn t my first order here. They re pricey, which I usually overlook, but after this, I don t think I ll be coming back.
While the food was satisfactory, I felt that the restaurants hygiene could be significantly improved. Enhancing cleanliness would elevate the overall quality and make it a more enjoyable dining experience.

Super disappointed. Ordered chicken tikka from the menu. Description on the menu says whit meat. Confirmed with waitresses white meat. When I got it it was dark meat. Sent it back. Waitress said sorry they ran out of white so gave me dark. Got the bill they charged me. Told waitress she should take it off as I sent it back. Owner comes and says in our restaurant we can make it with dark meat if we want. SERIOUSLY. Never coming back. Be aware.

Food was awesome but I would say the restaurant management is focused more towards the non-Asia community! We were total of 5 people! When we came for dinner! We have been offered two small tables on bar side! Tables were not suited for dinner tbh! Not to mention the tables were shaking a bit and also without the table cloth. There were tables available on the dine in side but I guess management wants to save those for their so called precious guests! Later we asked them to switch us to different table! We have seen staff spending more time with white customers! They often check on them and ask about food! Once we order the food not for once a single person came to check if we need anything else! We actually wanted to order more food and waited like 15 mins and try looking towards reception desk but staff/manager was busy winning approval of white customers! I seldom post the negative reviews! But this is unfortunate and ironic that we felt being discriminated in an Indian restaurant!

It was my first time here with friends and it was a good experience. our server was attentive and pleasant. There were quite a lot of choices; both vegetarian and non vegetarian. I really enjoyed the chicken hot and sour soup and the dessert too.
There is too much waiting time for delivery , they just attending dine , not care about delivery.

This place kind of has the vibe of a former steak house. Its pretty massive! The food was quite good! We had the chicken platter (chicken done 3 ways), lamb vindaloo with rice and two types of naan. It was the perfect amount of food for 3 people. The night we were there, there werent a lot of people. Our orders were taken pretty promptly, but it was a long wait (I think over half an hour) waiting for the main dishes to come out (and likely 20 minutes for the appetizer). I had to flag a waitress down for water about 45 minutes into the meal, but once we asked once, they came around twice and asked if there was anything else we wanted. I would eat here again - if I wasnt in a hurry.

Our dinner experience at India47 Restaurant + Bar was made better by a wine pairing that added an extra layer of fun to our wonderful evening! Warm smiles and a homey atmosphere welcomed us as soon as we came in setting the stage for an amazing evening. Our server , yatin assisted us in choosing the ideal wine to pair with our dinner. The sweet and sparkling white wine that we selected, the JacobsCreek Moscato went really well with our vegetarian meal. The care and attention to detail that went into every part of our dinner really amazed me. The flavours here are incredible. Had the Beet Kabobs, Aloo Mattar Ka Samosas, Rainbow Mango Salad, and the Yellow Dal Tadka (mild heat, still had a little bite to it). On Valentines Day, they made us feel extra special with a live violinist and complimentary chocolate covered strawberries. Always such great service and great food here. Highly recommended. Vegetarian options: They have vegetable only dishes as well as vegan options Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options.

I ordered through Doordash. Briyani quantity was less for 19 dollars. the time I ordered, there was a offer ed by one get one for $19 you could have given the single portion with more quantity. malai chicken tikka was not well cooked.
