Not very happy. Shawarma lacked the flavor, sauces were very little, whole shawarma was dry, didnt taste anywhere near for a good shawarma.

Highly recommend the Iraqi bread shawarma. It s fire! And the falafel is beautifully made fresh and delicious. Shoutout to Reham for the great service!

Decent food, Ive only had the chicken shawarma, my only complaint is the garlic sauce is a lil tame, I wanna stink like garlic after a chicken shawarma

Will not be returning. Got a sandwich and garlic was too sour. Only 3 tawoot in the sandwich. Not grilled well too. Meat has no flavour. Not how this place use to be

High prices for the food you get. Average combo plate is around $18-20 and they don t even come with a drink. Food taste good, but it s nothing unique. I would honestly just go across the plaza to the Greek place, they give larger portions and a drink for around the same price.

Parking: Its a strip mall, with no room to expand, parking is usually available. Kid-friendliness: Have not observed any creeps like the one who frequents Tim Hortons at the 1501 Lauzon Rd location. Wheelchair accessibility: Automated doors, accessible, and CLEAN washrooms!

Updated review: I have been a regular customer at East Side Shawarma for quite some time now, and have always enjoyed the food they serve. However, on my last visit, I was disappointed with the service provided by the new employees. I ordered the mixed grill plate, and was asked to wait for 10 minutes. When my order was finally ready, it was already packed and I was not given the opportunity to choose my vegetables or rice/potatoes. Additionally, I had specifically mentioned that I do not eat all the veggies especially no pickles/turnips, when I said this to the employee named Zee she put on a gloves and just removed the pickles from the top When I tried to ask about the other vegetables on my plate, Zee was rude and dismissive. It was a frustrating experience, and my partner and I ended up just grabbing what we got and leaving the restaurant. I hope that the management at East Side Shawarma addresses these issues with their new employees, as it has definitely affected my overall experience at the restaurant.

We ordered to give it a try since the previous owner sold the business. All I will say is the quality of the food has gone WAY down. The fries were soggy, the beef was not seasoned and the garlic sauce did not have the same garlic flavor, it was very bland. 1 star is being nice. If you like bland food with no flavor this is the place for you. Wont be ordering again

The spinach pies were absolutely delicious, as well as the toum and fattoush. Service was fast and friendly. I was sorely disappointed with the Shish kafta and the spicy potatoes unfortunately, both lacked seasoning immensely.

Shawarma taste good. But its very small for the price. Barely any meat. Across them is house of donair and for a $ less you get a lot more .

The beef shawarma combo that I ordered was delicious and filling. It is slightly on the pricey side when compared to other shawarma options in town but all of the ingredients taste fresh & yum. They have spicy tahini and garlic sauce options. Their in-house seating is adequate to hold 20 - 30 customers but watch out for those peak hours. Their staff are very friendly and definitely looking forward to going back here to try something different.

Most bland beef shawarma Ive ever had in Windsor. Staff was nice service was good but the food had almost no flavour and the garlic sauce was extremly bland as well, like it was watered down or something.

The shawarma wrap was falling all over, taste is horrible I don t recommend beef shawarma at all full or lettuce only. Chicken Shawarma the chicken is burned and I looks not from today. Do Better please

Tried I once was good, tried a 2nd time was iffy , wasnt sure I would return , 3rd time definitely never going back . The wrap hardly had any meat at all, with horrible lettuce that should have been put in the garbage. The potatoes, I dont even know what to say about these things. They are never freshly cooked but they always say they just came out. They were drowning in oil and garlic sauce couldnt even taste the potatoes. Lost my business for good. First time there, I went knowing what I wanted just not the name. I called it a Mala Salad but its called a fattoush salad. Maybe just made a little different for me?? Anyways I cannot say enough how delicious it was, the service was great with a beautiful smile to go along with the fantastic food. Thank you.... I will be back!!!!

I have never been more appalled at the service I received today I purchased a chicken Shawarma and a spinach pie a pound coming home I noticed my spinach pie was burn so bad that it was rock hard when I called to complain about the situation they were very rude unprofessional they asked me why I was upset they accuse me of making a complaint before which I have never done !!!!! Then when I bring my food back they tell me it s just a little crispy and try to give me two other ones and when I say no thank you I just like a refund they then tell me that I ve ordered food from them before and have not came back and purchased it which is a complete fabrication so not only are they unprofessional there also storytellers and they just can t take accountability for having messed up my order I wouldn t waste my time on this establishment the overpriced food does not match the quality

Good service but the food just is not good. The beef is super blubbery and both chicken and beef were under seasoned. Even the pickles were not good, soggy.

I used to love their food. But honestly lately it has been terrible. Tonight was my last order from them its throwing money away at this point. Threw 80% of it away. No taste, salad tastes rotten, chicken was in tiny pieces like i was given the ones dropped on the bottom from previous orders or from yesterday, the garlic sauce had zero taste. I ate the pita bread and hummus dip only. I think ive seen enough.

Havent been there for a while. The Sharma is still good and Biryani was awesome. My friend had the same thing except that his Sharma was made with Iraqi bread. Food : 4/5

Literally the best shawarma shop in East Windsor, Ive tried several of their dishes and their catering meals during Ramadan and I think its safe to say that they do an amazing job with everything, though it does get busy around 12-3pm.

Bought 6 shawarma, it tasted nothing but a pickled wrap with some chicken meat chopped in cube, by mistake I told them to put spicy garlic and they paste they put was neither spicy or garlicky. I will never go back there to have a shawarma again Food

Absolutely delicious food! I always get the shish tawook skewers with fatoush salad and biryani rice! With EXTRA garlic sauce (the best to dip fries in) and Baklava for dessert! Amazing service 10/10. Always the most kind and friendly people serving us, keep up the great work! One of my fave spots in Windsor to eat! Kid-friendliness: My daughter loves the food here and always orders the Baklava for desert! Soooo yummy!

Food was hot, the beef was good but was not seasoned enough for flavour. The hummus was bland but creamy, the portions could be more generous for the price you are paying. Each time I go in there is 1 poor girl working by her self, even we she is busy the man in the back does not help her. If you are in a hurry and there is a line, go some where else or you will be waiting a long time.

Your place is always a favourite, however the potatoes were fire burning , mouth on fire hot spicy. Why are you changing things? The garlic sauce had no garlic flavour.

Got Falafel sandwiches ... Service is good .. Food too is good... The Falafel Balls were prepared fresh after we ordered (which was gr8) but could taste better... Not sure if its the parsley that was missing or any other ingredient... Id rate them closer to the 5... But Google doesnt allow half star or 2 third ratings... And also... Im a repeat customer and will go in the near future for sure...

When I arrived to the restaurant I was welcomed with a smile by the employee and smell of kabobs! I ordered the shawarma poutine with nix of beef and chicken with everything on it, the order has a great portion of everything( could feed 2 people ) and the chicken and beef were marinated to perfection.definitely recommend this spot for anyone whose looking to dine in or a quick bite. Couldnt take photo of food was too hungry! Lol

My wife saw the sign and decided to pick up a Shawarma as she doesn t care for the ones out our way in Tecumseh. She had a good feeling as they were using freshly prepared ingredients. Took it home and said it was delicious! Now she has a new Shawarma place.

Best Shawarma place Ive found in Windsor! The Plates and Shawarma Sandwich/Wraps are amazing, and the best deal - I recommend these over ordering anything separately as the individual items are more expensive. The meat is very good quality. Tried the lentil soup which was just okay, a bit too thick more like stew than I prefer, but still tasted alright. Great food overall!

A unique taste. East Side Shawarma has some of the best biryani rice, and with their chicken cream chops (deep-fried chicken breast) it becomes a winning combination. Their family platter is our go-to for special events and family dinners. My preferred choice of places to go in Windsor-Essex.

it was my best restaurant, but after it was sold to different owner now Shawarma is bad quality of meat and less quantity inside Sandwich, you have to order Extra & Extra & Extra Shawarma to meet the traditional size. Me and my friends went to try a new shawarma experience, and as soon as I took the first bite, I knew it was worthy of a five star rating. Not only was the food great, the waiters and chefs were very nice and the service was amazing. I really recommend you try it. Its definitely the best in the city.

Why there is no garlic (toom) enough in the chicken shawarma sandwiches!!!! You need to improve this point, and you need to stop putting vegetables in the sandwich unless it is not shawarma. The falafel was good

Wow. Best shawarma in wWindsor! I ve been loyal to another spot for three years but when I was dragged here last week, I was blown away. Such nice flavor on the meat and AMAZING green hot sauce. The lady was singing all these classic vocal jazz tunes while she wrapped up our sandwiches. Haha. Was so great! Please give it a try.
