Ive been a long time frequent customer, at least twice a month. I have noticed ever since the ownership changed a while back, the consistency has changed greatly. The food is often under or over seasoned, missing the mark. Whether you Macdonalds or The Keg, the flavours should be the same every time. Thats what customers expect. When you are good, the food is very good, but the next visit may not be. Last Tuesday was the last straw. The ground beef was so over seasoned, it was very spicy and salty, the black beans were still crunchy. It was almost inedible. The people working were very unorganized as well. I stopped eating the el pastor a long time ago (one of my favourites once upon a time). Not seasoned right, and the chunks are so big, not bite sized, not enjoyable. Lastly, the pico de gallo is not real pico. Its just giant tomato chunks with other stuff diced in there that you cant taste, no lime or proper seasoning. Everything is to be more uniformly diced and more even in flavour. Itll be a long time before I return, if I do. I hope the Bobby Burrito employees take this time to get on the same page and get on track with consistency. I will miss this place.

Best burrito place in the city! Been exploring new Mexican cuisine and couldnt find a better place. Would recommend, good value, and they pack each burrito with a lot!

Foods, good person at the cashier doesnt know how to count. So make sure you know what your changes and make sure you dont have to argue with them for it either.

Not much selection for what type of vessel youd want for your burrito. I got the biggest one available (12) and got chicken as the meat. Guy behind the counter asked me if I wanted rice and I said just a little and he put a whole scoop (looked like a cup 250g). Right from there I knew this burrito was gonna be messed up. Already too much. Asked for the basics, lettuce, tomato, hot pepper, olives, and whatever sauce (I cant remember what exact sauce I got). Guy making burrito proceeds to push all the toppings into the middle and roll it as you should only that now it was the size of a baseball and the shape of one too. I asked him to unroll and try to flatten the toppings so itll be longer instead of taller. He said it was too late since the stretches the tortilla already. I saw that they had guacamole and it was $2.50 extra. I asked for some on the side and some tortilla chips to go with it. Once I got home I realized that the guac was just mushed up avacado (didnt even have salt). They advertised it as guac so I was quite unimpressed by that. The chicken was gummy and overcooked. The lettuce was soggy but the tortilla chips were very good with a good spice to them. Overall thats why I gave it 2/5 hope this review helped someone

New burrito places in town are better options sadly, i used to really enjoy this place.

From outside looks this seems not great. But food is exceptional, they have good mexican food and also Mediterranean+ Indian food. Dining room is midsize but can still accomodate 10-15 people. Vegetarian options: Ask for vegetarian options, they are quite a bit

This place has the best steak burrito in town. Ive tried everywhere else, this is the winner by far. The staff is friendly, prices are competitive, and the quality of steak is better. Go here if you like steak tacos or burritos.

my first impression was that the place was nice visually but messy and needed cleaning. regardless I ordered the pulled Mexican beef, overall pretty bland, and I was hungry.

The tacos and burritos were cold when they got here. They came with peppers on them despite me ordering them without (can t have peppers). I called to see if they d correct the mistake and they refused. I was out the money and couldn t eat them from my dietary restrictions and was told there was nothing they could do.

We were served by the owners of new management that day. One thing I can guarantee is, they really care about their business. They want their customers to be satisfied. The quantity was really good, taste was on point, overall experience was amazing. Best mexican place in Windsor. Vegetarian options: As many as you can think to create. I love burritos, tacos and the like, and I regularly frequent great places that serve this kind of food. This establishment is by far the worst food of the genre that I ve ever tasted. I threw half my steak bowl in the garbage today. Thoroughly disappointed. The staff were nice, but the food is horrible. My advice - you re better off going to Taco Bell across the street. I can list several places in Windsor that actually serve good food (e.g., Mi Casita, Acapulco, and the chains such as Qdoba) in this genre of food and have reason to be in this business. Bobby Burrito & Taco is not one of them. In summary - I d recommend Taco Bell over this establishment, and even mediocre chains like Quesada over this.

We just moved into the area and were pleasantly surprised to find Bobbys around the corner. The food great, at a great price and the ladies behind the counter are always happy. A friend of ours who helped us move declared he would be coming to visit us just to eat at Bobbys.

We tried the veg burrito and hard tacos this morning. They have the best Mexican food in windsor. The taco was really delicious. My new favorite place. Must try this place.

This doesnt make sense. Im a courier and wanted to use the washroom when i was picking up the order and the lady (Indian lady) was like you need to buy to use the washroom. Like for real.

One of the worst restaurant to dine in, I really had bad experience here. The Indian girl who works in that location has an attitude issue and she lacks in customer support. Burritos were dry and mediocre. They need to improve a lot to stay in business.

Taste is really good. Doubtless. Love the service and love the burrito bowl. Everyone should try and taste. You d love it :)

Went here after coming back from a road trip, staff was Amazing even during the training of another member. Very kind and theyll answer any questions you may have. I could compare this as a cheaper yet better quality version of Quesada. Instead of paying 15 dollars on a bowl, here its 10 and much more flavourful. I had gotten a rice bowl with barbacoa and My boyfriend had gotten a Barbacoa Quesadilla. Absolutely amazing and the food is actually kept warm by the hot plate. Will 1000% be returning again if I ever get the chance. Sadly forgot to take pictures until I had already aten it.. Thank you to the amazing and fast employees who were there when I had visited.

Amazing food portions kind customer service.

I tried them out recently. I had the large chicken burrito bowl. I was impressed, they put rice in the bottom of the bowl, then layed chicken down covering the circumference of the bowl added the toppings then put a few more pieces of chicken on top, and a little more toppings on top. The standard toppings sour cream, queso, tomato, beans, etc. Very filling and very good.

Food was fantastic. Great portions, great price. Everything was super fresh. Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian and vegan options. For protein you could go with edamame, black beans, or refried beans, and they also had a vegan minced crumble option.

My wife and I went there today for the first time. The girl behind the counter was great. She guided us thru the menu and gave us a taste of the gaucomole (crazy good) we bought 2 extra. We had friends coming over tonight and we ordered some chips and salsa(3). We ordered off the picture which showed 3 dips per order, we wanted just the Bobby sauce. We only got 3 dips total. Not their fault they were showing the dips they offer. They called me back and offered to walk the salsa to my house.... Who does that?.. Great food, above customer service.

Honestly some of the tastiest and generous burritos you can get on this side of town. Theyre the size of a small child!

Horrible place. They deny you the bathroom even when you ve bought something there, never going here again. I could clearly see there s public bathrooms and the lady told me right to my face their wasn t. Like hello??? You can t deny someone the bathroom like that. I also work in the same area as them. So disappointed in this business over a silly reason but it s a human right.

Burrito bowls are enough for two meals for me, quesadillas are excellent. Tacos are best in Windsor! Ive had better Mexican food before, but it was in Tucumcari New Mexico, 45 years ago!

Bobby burritos is amazing and theyre staff is always very pleasant. Lots of vegetables, proteins, toppings and sauces. Prices are very fair and you get large portions, they also load on the toppings. Definitely get your moneys worth.

Beyond disappointed. Even though it went straight from the counter to my hands, the food was cold. Completely flavourless and sloppy. You know how people say this food was made with love? This is what food made with hate tastes like. I pity the pig that was slaughtered just to end up tasting like a sour chunky nothing. Zero stars for the most expensive tacos Ive ever paid for.

Delicious and Healthy food

Normally, I order from this place all the time - food is usually great. I ordered this time through DoorDash and ordered two burritos - got burrito bowls instead. When I tried to call the restaurant to fix this, the employee was rude, dismissive, and basically made it sound like it was my fault she made my order wrong because when it comes through on her end it shows prepare as a bowl. She told me a manager would call back within the hour and never did. Aside from the poor service this time, the food also tasted horrible. Will likely never order here again.

Loved this place. Its kind of like Subway where you order your burrito and then you pick out your toppings. They have red and green sauce. Most places in Windsor dont have green sauce. Really enjoyed the food.

I love Bobby Burrito & Taco! Theyre my go-to place for burrito bowls and burritos. The serving sizes are very generous and actually fill me up. I can never finish a burrito and have to eat it as leftovers, but its still delicious! The employees are also very nice. I dont want to go anywhere else for burritos :)

I visit every couple of weeks and I usually get their taco salad. The portions are huge and I normally can share and get a couple of meals out of the large salad. The toppings are varied and very fresh. The staff and customer service is top notch from the hello when you enter the restaurant, the patience and respect of the staff, speed of service and the prices are unbeatable. I hope they are around for a long time!

Since new owners have taken over I must say it will be very hard to beat. They not only have very fresh ingredients but the taste and amount of toppings you get is amazing for the prices. Which is normal pricing to begin with. Definitely worth it, one of the employees gave me complimentary pop to go with order just out of appreciation. You can not go wrong with ordering from here. Definitely over 5 stars from me

Huge portion and always delicious

Highly recommend for vegans and omnis alike. Lots of fresh veg, proper plant based protein options, good prices, compostable containers, and most importantly, absolutely delicious. Only reason Im not giving 5 stars (call this a 4.5) is the amount of guac with the side guac and chips is very tiny, like a little sauce cup. Id pay a buck more to get a decent amount of guac! But thats minor. Bobby Burrito is a great spot and you should go.

My family and I ate here for the first time tonight and as soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and our food was made to perfection! Not only do you receive enormous portions for a great price but the staff is super friendly and attentive to customers of all ages. The best thing about Bobby Burrito & Taco is that they will never discriminate against any customer and welcome all! If you havent tried this little gem of an eatery, I highly recommend you do! Thank you to the amazing staff for a wonderful experience and for going above and beyond, espcially towards my toddler son! We will definitely be back!

Had not been there in a while. Went on a whim and we both enjoyed are burritos. They are so huge it is 2 meals for me. Friendly staff. Fresh ingredients. I usually get spicy and jalapenos but I was feeling mild and my choices complimented eachother. As it had been at least 6 months since the last visit I cannot remember the level of spicy. These hungry piggies stuffed their faces without thinking of a picture of the huge burritos.

Editing this review due to this place taking a downward spiral in terms of quality & value for price. They got rid of their best burrito (Barbacoa beef). I heard they changed ownership which likely is the cause of the stepback in quality. No longer recommend this place with many other taco & burrito options available now.
