Went there for the first time trying to find a place where in windsor that have tacos with the same taste as in Mexicantown in Detroit. They are not authentic Mexican tacos. too much pineapple in the tacos. I will still going in the US for real mexican tacos.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience at El Dorado Tacos! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm smiles and top-notch service. My fiancé and I decided to indulge in a variety of tacos, and every single bite was a burst of flavor. I had the Birria Taco meal, and it was nothing short of perfection tender, juicy, and bursting with rich, savory goodness. My fiancé tried the Perch Taco, Carne Asada Taco, and the Ground Beef with Chorizo Taco, and each one was exceptional in its own way. The balance of flavors was impeccable, and the ingredients were clearly fresh and of high quality. A huge shoutout to Michelle, whose outstanding customer service and vibrant personality made our meal even more enjoyable. She was attentive, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. The chef, Johanna, is a culinary genius her skill and passion are evident in every dish. We also want to thank Chico, Alejandra, and Christina, who were all instrumental in making our visit memorable. Their teamwork and dedication are truly commendable. El Dorado Tacos has won us over completely, and we can t wait to return for another delicious meal. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable taco experience!

The food is always worth the price. I love the chicken tacos, and the chicken quesadillas so much. The staff is very friendly and kind. This place made me fall in love with the Mexican cuisine. Would definitely recommend!!!

This place is absolutely amazing. Authentic Mexican food that packs a punch! If you can t handle spice I do not recommend using the hot sauce that comes with the meal. If you do however like spice then you will love this sauce! It packs a punch but is bold with flavour. I get the burrito with barbacoa meat as my go to which is so tender with a note of cinnamon. If tacos are more your style you have to try the birria tacos. The mole that comes with it is delicious and can become like a little soup with all the meat that falls in. 10/10 must try when in Windsor

This is a takeout place. I Ordered Birria Taco meal and El Dorado Nachos online, Our food was ready in 15 minutes. I ate Birria Tacos regularly in Rio Grande valley over the winter so Ive been spoiled with good Mexican. The rice is a little bland but the beans are probably the best Ive tasted.The tacos themselves are fantastic some crunch on the shells, tender juicie meat, A little green sauce a squeeze of lime and into the consumee that has just the right amount of spice . The Nachos with ground beef were a nicely proportioned and very flavorful . This is very good Mexican food.

Best Mexican food in the city!

Picked up nachos, guacamole, Pico de Gallo and beans. Was not disappointed. It was delicious!!!

The best place to go for authentic Mexican food. Very generous portions of outstandingly good food for very competitive prices. Its worth Spending the extra $2 that youd spend on a fast food meal and get one here that will feed you twice. Not to mention Ive never waited more than 10 minutes after ordering even on busy days.

I go here just about every week with my girlfriend I got burrito with ground beef and chorizo and the meat was raw had to take 3 days off work due to food poisoning on top of that when I went to the doctors I they told me I now have a parasites. Only go here if your okay with getting food poisoning and parasites

The food is great but their operating hours, especially on weekend evenings are limited. Impossible to get takeout on a Friday night even when ordering an hour ahead, with their ordering system simply rejecting our order. Wish they would anticpate higher demand of their excellent food and staff better/be open a bit later.

Amazing tacos. We we re craving the el pastor tacos we had on the street in Mexico. El Dorado did not disappoint! Not only was it like MX, but they had like 3x more meat. Tasted amazing. Nachos were a crowd please too! Also very nice people who own this place. We will be back!

I have no words for the way this food forced me to feel. It was so much more than dinner, it was permission to move forward with my life and choose happiness. Had I known that food could be this delicious I would have put in more time in my studies, and my overall health to experience the world for what it could be. If I had a marriage worth saving El Dorado tacos would have saved it. Thank for for the Fluatas, thank you for this second chance at life.

Small cute place with great reviews. Maybe it was an off night but I had a burrito that was super soggy even though it was only a 5 minute ride home. It was also lacking in flavour (I got pollo). As well, the beans and the chicken were much spicier than I was anticipating. Beans were good just super salty.

The Best mexican food Ive ever eaten. A little time consuming and simple atmosphere. If you try once, you never eat any other mexican foods.

My colleague said he was going out for mexican and I handed him a $20 and told him to get me what he could for that. What I got blew me away, the tacos were so good and packed full! I would have been happy with just them but the rice and beans that came with were super too! So satisfied, so stuffed!

All I can say is WOW! My husband and I ordered your burria tacos tonight along with pulled pork nachos for takeout. Weve tried a few other mexican places locally and they were lackluster at best compared to what we experienced tonight. The tacos were phenomenal, cheesey, loaded with fall apart meat that we dipped into a broth bursting in flavours. You also added in 2 sauces (guacamole type, and a hot sauce) both we enjoyed immensely. The nachos were obviously homemade and not bought in a store and unlike anything Ive had before. They were perfect. Overall experience was 10/10. Cant wait to come back to try something new.

This place is legit authentic. We tried los tacos birria (must try), al pastor, cochinita pibil, fish tacos, and cerviche, all were delicious! Luv that we get 4 different salsas, all homemade, all great, two of them had a nice bite! No complaints. Be back soon :)

We went in today and there were so many people coming into the restaurant, but the staff were still very friendly and curious to everyone even under stress especially the girl at the counter! Loved the service and didn t mind the wait for the really great food!

Been twice, i like the food and the counter girl is very friendly. If your doing takeout, dont bother calling, just do the online ordering we got hung up on twice before we realized what was up. And the actual problem i had, the menu is not up to date with pricing. I ended up buying something (steak fajitas) that were $6 more than the advertised price. I wouldnt have ordered it had it been listed at $28. Its good, but not that good.

I work in windsor through out the week. Today i Got 5 steak tacos with 2 broths to dip them in and all I can say is WOW. Sooooo good! 2 days ago I got the 3 Birria tacos with broth and thats what got me hooked. I have a problem when it comes to food. I have a very addictive craving for certain foods and this place has got me addicted. I cant wait to come back to windsor next week for work to have El Dorados again. Youre food is soooo frikkin good! Id recommend this place to anyone! Awesome food! pictures didnt even make it to this review cuz I was way too hungry lol. Next time though. Thank you to the ladies and gentlemen who made my food.

Birria tacos were great, probably best place I ve gotten them. Only thing I disliked is when I bit down into the taco, I bit a piece of a bone.. and it turned me off from finishing my food. But I will deffs be going back, overall was good tasting!

It s unfortunate because I have eaten here multiple times with no issues and this afternoon this was the one of the worst experiences I had to date. I arrived was with a party of 6 plus one baby roughly around the same time as the restaurant opened. Even though we were virtually the only group there, our food was very slow to arrive, a waitress spilled water on one of my friends and one of us had an food allergy which was disregarded by the staff. Someone from our dining party had to go to the pharmacy across the street to purchase antihistamines. Thankfully, the person isn t anaphylactic because no one bothered to check up on us either, even when it was time to pay our bill. That was the last time I will eat here.

We have tried this place before and decided to give it another try. Still disappointed. Food is way too greasy and I love cheese but there is such a thing as too much, especially on birria tacos. As someone who is very sensitive to greasy food it is way too much for me too handle. To each their own I guess.

Had a great experience here. I wasn t sure exactly what I wanted to order, so I asked the lady and she recommended the steak burrito. I also tried the beef tongue taco. These were DELICIOUS! More than enough food. Completely satisfied.

I m no connoisseur of authentic Mexican food but I imagine that this would be very faithful . I ve tried quite a few joints in town, ( Mexican, El Salvadoran ) where burritos tend to be a staple on the menu. Eldorado makes the best Burrito on the east side for sure. They also make amazing nacho chips the salsa Roja will melt your tongue and perforate your esophagus and yet you will keep eating them.

We originally visited to get their Burria tacos, which are amazing. I wanted to switch it up and got a veggie burrito - this is the best burrito I have ever had. The flavours are so well rounded , feels like a hug in a tortilla!

Ordered from here Sunday evening , a take out order and got home and we had no beans or rice , unfortunately we couldn t go back or call because they were closed , that is not the first time they messed up order, there tacos are amazing but the order needs to be correct

Real authentic Mexican food that is also very easy on the wallet. You MUST get the traditional guacamole and pico de gallo as appetizers. So fresh and tasty, AND they make the chips in house daily as well! There was an error in my order tonight and they took care of my family without any hassle. The service here is top notch, but it is slow at times. My best recommendation is to order for a specific time - 5 mins before you actually intend on picking it up (it is worth it for the food). I know there is a lot of options, but you need look no further than El Dorado Taco for excellent Mexican food!

That was the best burrito i have ever had. Ive ate burritos from the east to the west, north and south. This one was great the pastor with the pineapple flavour and authentic spice. It was insane. Ill be coming back

Holy cow my boyfriend and I came from Waterloo and stopped at El Dorado Tacos. I got the pulled pork burrito and he got The rice and bean burrito with a fish taco combo. THE BEST MEXI FOOD IVE EVER HAD!!!! It was full of flavour, the portions were HUGE the staff was so kind and nice and they were constantly busy!! The price range is amazing for the quality and quantity of food you get!! Definitely make it a place to visit if you love authentic mexi food. You ll be obsessed like we were !! Will definitely be coming back out next time we are in town!! Thanks so much for being incredible

Some of the best Tacos in Windsor Essex. We love the Birria Tacos in Particular and they also do a great El Pastor from the spit. Rather small inside so you probably want to do take out. Order ahead to save the wait.
