Just went here with my husband to meet family yesterday and we will never go back . First off you walk in and the music was incredibly loud you could not hear the person sitting next to you. The place was not very busy yet with the music so loud everyone had to shout to talk to their friends / family . It smelt like a public restroom. The menu was very basic. Doesn’t give good description of what is on certain dishes. My BIL ordered the bruschetta and it was under done . The bread was soggy. Chicken tenders were over done and not the best batter. Over all the food was not the best very low grade . Wait to even take the order was very long . Over all the experience was not great and I wouldn’t waste your time going. If you want to be deaf and unable to hear your guest and don’t plan on eating then you will be fine.
We ordered nachos, and there was more than enough for all of us. They were delicious and fresh. The people working there were so friendly and made everyone feel so welcome!
Level 5 local guide here. Food was pretty bad to say the least. Waffle fries nachos were soggy, ground beef was over cooked. Perch was under salted. Waited 40 min to get food after ordering. Overall, this is what I would call bad bar food. Service was fine. Atmosphere was dead, it's Monday.
Ordered the British Burrito, which was described as "Yorkshire pudding wrap stuffed with tender roast beef". The roast beef was lunch meat heated up. It was not pleasant! The processed lunch meat was rubbery & did not taste good. The server offered a discount off my bill ( I really should have sent it back), but when I requested a take away box because I didn't want to waste the food, but instead feed it to my dog, they refused to give me the discount. The server did not tell me this, but then tried to get me to pay full price. It was only when I challenged him, that he told me that management said no discount if I took it home, only if I let them throw it away. I had only taken two bites. I didn't appreciate the server not being upfront. If I wanted heated lunch meat, Arby's would be a better choice. It was gross! Won't go back.
Now known as the 519 Beerhouse. Attended last night with fellow firefighters. The place was packed and the owner gave us free samples of their delicious wings.
We really enjoyed our 1st experience. Went for dinner and drinks. Food was yummy, excellent and friendly service. Live music was nice. If any "complaints" or should i say tips... a little more sauce on the ribs next time ;) ;) and French onion soup could of been a little hotter (bowl was hot but should of been under broiler a bit. Crispy top) But other than that food was very great and we left by eating it all! Looking forward to going back, thanks!
Took my wife and my mother out for Mother’s Day lunch. Wonderful atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, especially the stand up comic waiter. Excellent service and the food was delicious, is there a six star option.
Had a great experience! Greeted immediately upon entering and seated quickly. Appeared to be only one server in the place and while there was a decent amount of people dining he was great and very attentive. My burger was fantastic and full of flavour, the mac and cheese was so tasty that even when full I couldn't stop eating it. The Irish nachos were a delicious appetizer. Had a very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this place! 👍Only downfall was several missing menu items.

Went here tonight 6 of us and sat at a table for over 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Very loud in there. Stopped on way out to let manager know. Sorry about that was the response.
Advertise everywhere, open at 9am on Saturdays was not open and we arrived at 10:30. Disappointing.

I will never eat here even though its the closest restaurant to my home. I like to check out the menu before I go to a restaurant to see what they offer. I was blocked from there web site for no reason. If you dont want your customers to know about you, Ill take my business elsewhere.

If google allows me give review without giving a star, that would be my first choice. My family went for their new year eve event, but the place is not set for new year celebrations at all! There is no celebration atmosphere at all, and the food was discusting, the veggies are not cooked at all. They even do not bother to put salad, the bread they serve are old like rubber, I barely can chew it, we didnt enjoy at all, and as my daughter said, its just food for hunger. Beside that, the place is too loud with the game, other people were yelling and scream during the singers performance, the screaming even covered the singers singing and music, I just feel I am really in the wrong place for such a nice event. In short, nothing was special for new year celebrations and it is not a place to host new year celebrations such! We really regret to book here Please dont come honestly!

I had heard about the good food and welcoming atmosphere at Sir Richards. Im moving to Tecumseh and thought Ill try it I was not disappointed and felt very much at home. The dessert was to die for. This is definitely going to be my go to place.

We dined outdoors for the first time last week at Sir Richards and their patio is beautiful, well set up, fountain and music. Worth stopping in for a good meal and nice atmosphere.
My husband actually said he felt like meat lol we walked in and instantly felt we did not belong. Live music was great food was terrible

The atmosphere was okay for what it was as a pub. The service was either inexperienced or slow. A lot of times I felt forgotten about and the food was aggressively mediocre. My wings were half sauced and the menu was boring.

Horrible. Had to wait an extra 40 mins beyond time stated. Got home everything was ice cold. Nothing even slightly warm. Asked to speak to manager while waiting and were told they are not in till next week. We ordered on a Friday at 5pm.
Went here a couple weeks before Christmas, it was wonderful! Went there this week and What happened? Service was horrible, food either overcooked the other undercooked, and the bathroom was disgusting, and the floors looked like they hadnt been cleaned since the last time I was there in early December.

We were excited to go back after all the restrictions were lifted. We were very disappointed in the service and quality of food. I had to order my 3rd choice as they were out of my first 2 choices. The food finally arrived and it was cold. It will be a while before we go back.

my friend and I went for dinner a couple of weeks ago, loved the look of the interior, and it seemed to have a good selection of beer and I thought I would come back again for a drink that weekend. that is where the positives end for me unfortunately, we got in and it wasnt terribly busy they took our order and we waited 2 hours for our food! when the food did come my friends dish was cold noodles with overcooked chicken. mine was also cold and somehow they undercooked the rice. i mean how do you serve what was basically uncooked rice. needless to say i wont be back for dinner anytime soon.

My fave local eatery. My partner and I go weekly for supper. We had a bad dinner once recently but the situation was handled gracefully and the night in question was short-staffed and busy. A very good restaurant with a sweet add-on of live music in the evening - Fridays & or Saturdays :)

Great food, excellent service, nice pub atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, the food is delicious and delivered in a timely manner, menu selection is extensive and the facilities and dining area are kept clean. Highly recommended.

We went for breakfast. I ordered a standard bacon and eggs it was very good. My husband ordered Sir Richards breakfast bowl. It was good but needed to be much warmer. The cheese curds did not all melt and were cold. The plate was cold causing the gravy to cool quickly. As far as the flavor it was good just need to improve on the cold issue and it would be great. Service was excellent.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful meal on the patio this evening. We shared 2 pounds of Chicken Wings - large size, good quality, with no gristle. They were perfectly fried and the meat pulled easily and cleanly from the bone. The fresh-cut fries were nicely-seasoned and cooked perfectly. Our sons enjoyed an Apple Crumble and Warm Brownie (both with ice cream for desert). Drew (our server) recovered nicely after a small spill - he checked on us often and was excellent. We will be back again soon!

Ordered the sir Richards burger for takeout with side of fries for four people and all four orders were messed up and had wrong toppings. The meat was tasteless and cold, the fries dry and were like cardboard, I had to grab sauce from the fridge just to make it edible. Was the first time I ate here and was not impressed. Tasteless and bland. Do not recommend for food. Parking: Spacious

Had breakfast at Sir Richards July 31st Sunday oh very well put together breakfast eggs benedict plus English style breakfast for my two friends we enjoyed it very much to top it off we enjoyed the scones that were sent out by the chef and waitress. Will be back for another trip!
Ordered steak and ale pie. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Puff pastry flopped over a serving of canned beef soup with a tip of I think vinegar or Guinness splashed in it. No steak whatsoever. The soup was so watery I had to eat it with s spoon. I took the puff pasty that was not even baked on top of pie off and ate it separately. The pastry was buttery but not cooked properly. STEAK AND ALE PIE SHOULD BE EATEN WITH A FORK AND HAVE VEBETABLES THAT ARE NOT CUBED, gravy that is not soupy and can be eaten with a FORK. Gave it 1 for puff pastry otherwise GARBAGE.

I found the service very good...but the place is quite dirty....you need to spend some time in the washrooms and bar before I even consider eating here!
Service was good however the food was not cooked. We had fish and chips and perch dinner. The fish was mushy undercooked and the fries were cold and mushy also. The menu online did match the menu in the restaurant. We will not be back.

Was ok. Kids loved their simple pastas. The Beef and Ale pie wasnt what I expected maybe thats my fault? The beef they used was good and tender but the way it all was...was strange. The Cod dinner was just ok my wife said. Fried dough sticks and mozzarella sticks were good. Ill try it again and hopefully bump the rank up! :)

Hoping we caught this place on a bad night. #1 was the music. Terrible. Most people in the place were over 50 and the playlist was worst songs of the last 2 years . Loud enough to be distracting. Horrible enough to be annoying. Service was good. Very few inside. Food was not great.

Prices on their takeout menu on their website are not the prices they charge you when you get there. Very deceiving. Parmesan sticks and deep fried pepperoni are not nearly as good as they sound. The actual meals themselves are good, but avoid the appetizers that cost more then they say

Id like to preface this by saying there was 3 tables (mine included) the server took so long to serve me that the kitchen was closed, commented in appropriately on my appearance and couldnt serve a table if her life depended on it.
We had a couple drinks & an app. Our waitress Alisha was so nice & helpful. First time visit. Only critique no wine or beer menu. Owner needs to get on that!
We went there yesterday with a friend for late lunch. Wife has fishn chips and loved them. Friend and I had wings and they were awesome. They have many more varieties of sauces than most places. I tried the Buffalo ranch sauce on my wings and they were like the best ever! Staff was great and WILL go back. Get out and support this place!

Excellent food, great staff. Only one complaint, while the music (on the radio) was good, it was so loud at times I had a hard time hearing my wife talking across from me.
Service was good but the food was bland. Yorkshire pudding wrap is a great idea. Pudding was done well but the beef and su jus was flavorless. Same withbthe kettle chips on my wifes plate, no flavor not even salted.
No I didnt take a picture.... Sorry The Goat cheese, beet, and quinoa salad YUM. Ratatouille also YUM!!! I must admit I have never had the opportunity to try this before so I am simply going on my opinion of the flavors.... If you love stewed tomatoes then this is a must try dish! It was delicious, I would definitely have again. The only change I would make is, rather than the cheddar, I would request the goat cheese with the quinoa.

Disappointing. Service was good but food was poor. Pirogies were deep fried and the cheese on top was not melted and neither was the cheese on top the Mac & cheese. Ruben sandwich would have been ok if the bread had spent more than 20 seconds in the toaster. Wings were OK but the Cajun rub was way too salty. We enjoyed the beer and the waiter was good otherwise it would have gotten a 2 star.
Drunk guy at the bar kept swearing loudly and didnt hear anyone telling him to quiet down. Food was ok...mac & cheese was bland and dry, and some ground pickle stuff was on my burger that wasnt listed...
Decent beer selection and unique, interesting menu.
Service was good. Had the beef and ale pie. The stew portion was good but the puff pastry topping was raw. I will give it another go as this is a common mistake lots of places make when baking puff pastry.

We popped in for a late lunch. There was an energy in the air, a Michigan vs Ohio football game was on. I had the Cod fish and chips. It had very nice light crispy coating and the filet size was quite large. My one companion had the Yorkshire pudding wrap. It was quite unique and tasted great. The accompanying kettle chips were to die for. My other companion had the Chicken Parm wrap and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our server was friendly and perfectly attentive. This was not our first visit there and wont be our last.
