Never good service, decent food, okay prices. I d only come on a deal night for it to be worth anything

Excellent food

Walked in at 7pm on Tuesday night. We waited 20 minutes, no one came to our table. 2 waitresses and 1 waiter. We left. No reason to go back with Johnny Schotz right next door. Too bad, I like Chucks other locations. This one is new and not off to a good start. Dec. 17, 2024

Ordered take out tonight...the fries looked like they were made yesterday...so disappointing 50 dollars wasted!!!

Food is good and prices are great. Need to have a bartender making drinks so that servers can actually serve their tables. Wait times for drinks, food, order taking and paying bills is crazy long.

Always a great time at Chucks. Prices are reasonable and the food is always hot and fresh. This location is better than the others in the city.

I ordered butter toffee pudding and it is clearly missing toffees and when I asked them regarding this, they didn t offered me anything and instead they asked me to come to store in the snow to get those. Absolutely waste of money

They have the worst service. I ordered pickup , they missed the items in my order and when I called to ask them why they were missing.. They cut the call and they didn t respond. They didn t even bothered to call back, but they took full amount from me.

Anne Marie is a very nice, friendly waitress who took care of our every need! She checked on us regularly and made our experience terrific!

Steak and mushroom were salty. The food was good however.

For the price food is ok. We had some apetizers, nothing special, good for the price. Ordered double Jack Daniels, server tried to pursede me to get it with a coke and eventualy served it with lime wedge???? Whisky was very watered down which explains why they pushed coke with it. Eventhough I returned it after one sip, I was charged for it. Tells you everything about the establishment, it is cheap but you get what you pay for, with extra water. This did not happen in other Chuks locations I visited. Probably will never go again.

First of all it has poor lighting had to use our flashlight to see the menu there was 4 of us 2 people got the bbq chicken breast it was not hot at all I felt it and it was cold so i called the waitress over and told her she said to me ok what do u want me to do I said can u replace it she said no take ot home and I will take it of ur bill what the heck and she totally got iratated when we call her over to ask her something while we were trying to eat our food never came over once to how everything was but when she noticed we were all most done she came to our table 3 times to try and cash us out she asked me if I wanted change I said yes she came back with our change and slammed it on the table very poor service and not very good food I will not be returning there

My food came out cold and was hard to get a waitress to complain,waitress that finally came to the table was very rude and brought out more food threw on the table walked away no apologies nothing Food was colder than first was horrible experience and probably wont eat there again

Rib eye steak with mashed potatoes were awesome

The staff is so attentive I love going there we got quite often so I would encourage you to try it out

What an amazing lunch out! Once in a while my friend and I will go Chucks for lunch. We always get a draft, and lunch. Service: AMAZING! Our waitress was Pam, Pam was amazing at making sure we got everything we needed and greeted us right away. Throughout our lunch she was very kind and we had a laugh with her. Food: DELICIOUS! We both got the chicken fingers with fries and I got a side Ceaser salad. These chicken fingers were so crispy, and not greasy! Enjoyed very much! Ceaser salad was amazing. Perfect balance of dressing, to bacon, to crispy lettuce, perfect cheese. Definitely will be back!

Was a great place I was a regular. They got a lot of new staff and the new servers arent up to par compared to the others. 25mins before they take youre food order. The old stuff that still work there I feel bad for because they work there ass off and are great.

As a long time chucks customer, I advise to stay clear of this location! Sign says wait to be seated,ended up seating ourselves as not a soul attended to us after 10 mins wait. After being seated,we went threw horrific noise with 2 waitresses dragging tables and chairs across the floor to obviously ready a table for a larger party,but come on,2 waitresses could easily carry them to put in place without the unnecessary noise by dragging them. Its Wednesday, so I ordered the rib and wings,my 75 year old mother had a cheeseburger with fries...had to scrape the burnt black coating off my ribs,wings were good,but very disappointed with the fries,very soggy My moms burger was extremely over cooked as well,she didnt finish the meal. Used the mens restroom,had to dodge the lake of urine from the over flowing urinal, tiles broken off the walls and very disgustingly dirty. Was time to get out of this horrific location,our server collected our dirty dishes said shed be right back with the bill,she left us there for another additional 15 mins waiting for our bill to arrive. A very unenjoyable dining experience today.Save yourself and visit any other location,this location needs help,Im a frequent visitor with the chatham location and it blows this location away!! Definitely no tip added!

Went for lunch with a friend to catch up. Took a few minutes to be noticed to be seated. Waitress was friendly but didn t seem like she was comfortable. I believe she was new and trying to find her confidence and I have no doubt she will be great. I ordered the Cajun chicken and felt like it was well presented. It was a great size and wasn t too much food. Fries were well seasoned. My guest asked for her fries to be a bit more crispy. They were not. I feel like that was the only knock food wise. I will be back as it s reasonably priced and everything has tasted good

Used to enjoy coming here but service and food quality has been noticably declining over the last couple of years.

I was very anxious to try this restaurant (Tecumseh location) after reading the excellent reviews. I can t stress how disappointing it was. Loud is an understatement. Couldn t hear myself think and would not go back because of that. However once my food arrived, I had many more reasons not to go back. My medium rare steak was medium-well, my baked potato was still hard while I was trying to cut into it And my daughter s french fries were hard and not fresh. We were told the chef had quit and the owner was now doing the cooking, which explained to us a lot about how bad the quality of the food was. I hate to badmouth an establishment, but when absolutely nothing went right, it s hard to endorse them.

Went to this restaurant last night for a belated birthday dinner with my boyfriend about 630, asked for a booth and was told a server would be with us shortly. After 20 minutes of nobody coming over to even ask us if we would like a drink my boyfriend went up to the bar to get us one since nobody was waiting on us. After we got our OWN drinks and were about halfway done them we watched another couple walk out cause nobody was coming to serve them either. We sat for at least another 20 mins after that, which makes it about 45 minutes now, still NO service! A party of 4 came in, was seated in a booth near us and a server was there for them within 3 mins, i called the next server i seen walk by over and told her we have been waiting at least 45 minutes and no one has even come to our table, she apologized and said i will have someone come right over, well....another 20 minutes later nothing so we walked out after over an hour of no service. Im so so so disappointed in the service there, it was absolutely ridiculous! I hope someone from management sees this! Cause it ruined my birthday dinner. Chucks on Tecumseh road east.

I honestly dont understand why people eat here. Its very loud, loud enough you cant even hear the person next you. I guess people eat here because its cheap but you get what you pay for. Ive had the chucks burger a few times from different locations and its disappointing every time. Over cooked patty, bready bread and fake cheese. And the honest to goodness fee ?! Just feels scummy. If you have to make the burger and beer 50c more each, Id feel less ripped off.

We go to this location pretty regularly and have never had a bad experience. Food is always fast and good and staff are always super friendly and attentive.

Deep fried pickles were fantastic. Had a burger with fries and was typical bar food. Prices were reasonable.

I love the bruschetta here it s the best! I also love the ribs especially on Wednesdays when it s on for a low price! After 9pm the appetizers which are delicious are on for half the regular price!

The kids really enjoyed the food. Prices are reasonable. Wait staff was super friendly.

Hubby and I had received a gift card as a gift so decided to have dinner their Sunday evening (8/4). Our server was absolutely AWESOME. Anne-Marie was a breath of fresh air. It nice to see a server that is personable and on the ball. She is definitely the reasone we look forward to frequenting this location again.

My friend was down visiting from Toronto. So, I had to show him the road house and food. Four of us went for dinner, and 2 more joined in as well. Had a great smokehouse burger and upgraded to a delicious greek salad.

Great rib specials on Wednesdays. Tasty and fall off the bone $4 pints are good too, before 5pm.

I am very disappointed, we walked in to order a smoked meat sandwich with no fries to go (take-out). Instead they charged us a dollar more and served me a hamburger with 2 onion rings. Sitting on a train for the next 12 hours its not like a customer can return their meal. The waitress truly needs to pay attention to exactly what people ask for otherwise she will not last very long in that industry. Customers reading this that plan on having take-out from here make sure you double check the meal before leaving.

Had the best experience at the Tecumseh East location. Sam was the best server ever she was so accommodating and friendly. Ribs are always the best....big shout out to Manager Mike.

Usually end up there with my 2 older friends I work with Lacey was our server and Usually is she absolutely kills always going the extra mile. Always remembers our orders and says to the other waitresses what we order if we end up with someone else we always come for the 1/2 Apps LOOKING FORWARD TO THE PATIO!!! Give lacey a raise!!!!

Family had a great rib dinner at a reasonable price. Our new go to place. Clean with plenty of parking. Restaurant was really busy when we arrived, but were seated with only a short wait. Keep up the great customer service

The cuts of meat, are excellent the place is very spacious and the menu very varied, it is an excellent place, maybe it is good to improve the cleaning a little.

Been to Chucks a few times, and it has been delicious every time, and our waitresses very friendly and accommodating.

I would pick Chucks Roadhouse every time...even over the Keg! The service is great, friendly and fast. The steaks are cooked to perfection. The selection of food is vast. The portions satisfy. The atmosphere is pleasant. The prices are reasonable... (you can actually afford to leave a well deserved tip). Chucks for me, from a burger and fries to surf and turf!

The manager Mike and the wait staff are the best

Even though it was on a very busy day because it was Fathers Day. The service was as good as it could be they made it feel like it wasnt as long of a wait is it was they were kind to us and our kids. They kept giving us updates as to when our food was coming and if we needed any more drinks. So by the time we got our food it was very good it wasnt at all cold it was served right after it came off which isnt always the case with some restaurants sometimes they have something sitting for a while so by the time you get them theyre cold. All of it was hot and delicious and I would definitely go back again with my children.

second disappointing experience here, been waiting for an hour just to see them sit others first, racial discrimination on this place, avoid if you are not white.

I m not sure if they were down some staff, but it took us 20 minutes to get our first drink. No water or cutlery brought to our table. Our food had to sit getting cold while we waited for a fork. On top of that, the calimari was the worst I ve ever had, it tasted similar to popcorn chicken. I feel confident saying it is fried in the same oil as the wings. Our drinks ran empty every time, and we went drink less for about 15 minutes while waiting for a refill. I will stay away from this chucks location going forward.

Waited about 15 minutes for somebody to take our order. No water or cutlery provided. Food was cold when it finally came out and we still didn t have cutlery. Stepped out for a smoke and they cleared our entire table after with food and drinks; we asked them not to. Came back and took another 15 minutes for us to get new drinks back. I understand they were busy, but towards the end of our outing service was the worst and the restaurant seemed to slow down. Will not likely be returning to this location.

Ordered through skip, received my spinach dip in a big container with 10 pieces of bread and only enough dip for 6.... totally disgusted in the price and amount of dip that was given

I have been trying to order takeout by calling the main number for over two hours with no success. Frustrated, I went to the restaurant in person, only to be told they would not take my order. This level of service is unacceptable. I am very disappointed and will probably never return.

Quick and easy pick up of my order. Great food as always. I love their take out containers great quality. Kid-friendliness: Last time we sat in to eat they were very patient when dealing with us. Engaged with the kids well. And menu was simple.

Was in the Tecumseh Rd Windsor restaurant. Was about 8:45 on a Friday when we got seated. The place was very busy but our waitress was at our table almost as soon as we got seated. Holly was awesome. Took our drink orders and told us about the 1/2 price appetizers and other specials offered. We decided to wait a few minutes and order appetizers. As soon as it was 9 o clock, Holly was at our table taking our order. The food came out exactly the way we ordered it, and it was great. We never had to look for Holly. She was always at our table asking how we were doing or if we needed anything else. Even with dessert suggestions. Even though she was super busy, she always came to the table with a smile on her face. Our drinks were always refilled and the food was great. She made our evening at your restaurant very enjoyable. We definitely will be back again. Next time probably for dinner. Especially more Klondike Crumble!!!! Thanks Holly

Went in to enjoy a sit down dinner with the family, we were situated at a table and the waitress came and took our order she then left to place the order Drinks came with no issues Waitress came back to update us saying food was on its way and we were sat for little over an hour before we got our food, once we got it our food it was cold along with a few other iteams we received People who had come in much later after us had ordered and received there food Very disappointed!!!

The food is pretty good. Not amazing, but above average for sure. The service is mediocre (I dont like having serviettes thrown at me). Its very dark in there - they need more windows, because the Christmas lights they have strung up on the ceilings arent doing much. What really, REALLY stinks, though, is their added 3% Honest-to-Goodness fee, which is anything but honest. This is the thin edge of the wedge, as I guarantee this nonsense fee will only increase in the future. Theyre just being sneaky and deceptive by adding 3% to the menu prices without increasing the prices on the menu. With every company and service nickel-and-diming us to death nowadays, its time we consumers vote with our wallets. Weve gone to Chucks about five times in the past year, and this will be our last time. Somehow, the canned and boilerplate response from the owner below only confirms my suspicions that they dont really give a hoot about their customers and are not the least bit interested in actually improving, but rather in forcing their customers to fit into their mold. No problem...I will tell every person who asks me for a restaurant recommendation what a scam theyre running with their Honest-to-Goodness nonsense.

Waited 45 mins for a server to come to table and we finally left. Even asked if we were going to be served, said someone was going to be right over and waited another 15 minutes and no one came to table. We were there with a five year old child. People that came in after us were served. Terrible service. We won t be back.

Went for after 9pm half price apps, was very busy. Food came out very quickly, tasted awesome and the wait staff were amazing.

Usually I have no issues with my steak and baked potato at Chucks. Yes this is Chucks, where you get a decent steak at a reasonable price but this last visit was poor standards even for Chucks. I dont know if it was the waitress or cook but the steak and baked potato were only warm to eat but my boiled water corn was hot. Manager on duty tried to soothe things over with a meal discount and 1 free dessert at the table. I will say that I ate my meal but the appetite for steak was ruined. I will go back one more time but not for awhile.

Great place with a great vibe and great food at such an affordable rate is a rare find and all the servers are well versed with the menu items and prompt in the service. Really it s a must visit place and definitely topping my list of the best places to eat, drink and chill.

this was horrible we sat down around 9:10 ish and im typing this as im sitting at the table its 10:35 rn and still no food, others have been sat after us and have ate and left before we even got our food, this is outrageous chucks i will never be back ever again and u need to get a new lineup of staff this is unbelievable

This place is great! We went there on a Saturday, around 8:40 pm and got greeted by a super kind waitress who told us about the half-price apps after 9 pm deal, in case we wanted to wait. Even though we decided to order right away, it was nice to know. The chicken quesadilla and artichoke dip were so tasty and big enough, we almost skipped dessert. But I glad we didnt, and ordered the toffee bread pudding which was out of this world! Cant wait to go back just for that cake. Overall, a fantastic experience.

I really like the $25 steak and lobster tail dinner. The steak is good and the lobster tail is always grilled well. Service is quick and friendly. Its a sports bar so it can be a little noisy for family but as long as you know what to expect then thats ok. Dont think its a great place to bring anyone with noise sensitivity.

Was there 2 weeks ago. Must have had a new girl. She gave me the wrong beer and told be her boss would be upset if she got me a new one and was reluctant. once she did she was very dismissive and not polite. My kids food took forever and was wrong. hen new came out and it was cold. Not a great experience

Wish the gravy would be consistent. Sometimes is watered down. Other than that, food is always great!

Have visited this location many times over the years. Food is always good never had a bad experience. We were there on Rib Wednesday, two of us had the ribs and added steak. And one order 12oz New York steak with upgraded to poutine. And my grandson had kids cheeseburger meal. We also had nachos as an appetizer all the food was excellent. Ann Marie was our server, she was amazing best server that we have ever had there. If I could give her more than a 5 star rating I most definitely would. So if you visit this location which I would recommend make sure to ask for Ann Marie if she is working.

I was amazed with Ann marie s service tonight, we had a table of 3 during dinner rush hour & she went above and beyond to meet our needs during our entire dinner! She was super polite & professional with her serving. I would love to return to a table served by this heart-warming women! we tipped & would do it again!

Ordered BOGO wings. Ordered BBQ and Medium for the two 8 piece, and Medium and Hot for the two 16 piece. The wings themselves are alot better than I was expecting. So that part is at least 60%, the sauce is the rest. The 8 piece, sauce was exactly the same. As for the 16 piece...well theres zero sauce. No dry rub, no nothing. Since I wont eat wings dry/naked I wont get to enjoy my superbowl hot wings. Really sucks, because the wings are a good size, and the BBQ tasted great, but because of this chances are I will never be ordering from here again. I chose here instead of Loose Goose because of delivery time. At least with Loose Goose, I know without any doubt my wings will be smothered in sauce and get the saucy beard the wife loves. If you like a little sauce or naked, I would definitely give Chucks a go. Just because of lack of sauce/no sauce a second chance isnt likely in the future

I go to Chucks all the time but I was unsure of what to get. The server recommended the Cajun chicken sandwich which was fantastic. Our server was super cool and she made us laugh. We also tried the Buckaroo dessert, and it was just okay. It did not wow me, but I know how good the other desserts are. Was a fantastic meal all in all. Great work

Excellent place for lunch or dinner. They have promotions during different days of the week. The service is very good even though when we went it was almost full. The beer is served very cold and is delicious. It is a restaurant chain so you can visit this branch or look for one wherever you go in Canada. The ribs and burgers are exquisite. Very affordable prices compared to other places and the quality of their food.

Steaks are very good. Mine came out rare ordered medium well waitress took back and brought my fries and corn back out and then my steak came out 10 minutes later. My husbands potatoes were cold. Took a long time to get carry out box and pay our bill waitress was in a conversation at another table. Another waitress had to go interrupt her and she still carried with her conversation. Chucks in Niagra Falls was much better very disappointed with the one in Windsor.

Mike (the Manager) has been incredible! Some of the best customer service, and went above and beyond! My friends and I love dining here for their 1/2 off appetizers and it s the best spot to just hangout and enjoy good food at:)

Long wait, 1+ hours of wait on the table for the food, cold wings after 1 hours, some of them were uncooked but was replaced by the waiter. Good atmosphere, but the food quality was not acceptable.

Food was good but Ann marie was our waitress, she didn t make us feel welcome and was not very kind. We felt that she left our table for last, she brought the machine to our table then left and went to a different table when most of us weren t finished paying yet. She barely payed any attention to us and was over all not professional.
