We waited in lobby to be seated as the sign asks. 4 staff members working not one looked our way. After 7 min, a hostess came and said the only table for 2 was infront od the washroom and kitchen doors. Yet 6 other tables and 1 booth was open. Horrible horrible. We will never go there.

Ok.... food is good, youll enjoy the flavor. The service....OMG... it is simply awful. Waitress will talk to friends while you sit there waiting. Take the orders, then go back and talk if you have that kind of time. The food always takes a while to come out, but it tastes good, so its worth it. But waiting 10 minutes for them to take your order while their chatting away with friends is annoying.... just be ready.

Simply Thai is now our go to place. The service fast and the food amazing. We cant wait to go again .

Quality of food has lost its touch.

Great service, tasty food!

Specifically asked if they added the house meat addon (chicken and shrimp) and was told yes charged for it and they didnt add it. Clientele was also incredibly rude as well as servers knocking door open trying to hit people on entry. Look at the other low star reviews there is an obvious trend including if you step into the place in the first place. (Exclusivity from the 1940s)

Pathetic service. We ve never felt this way before in Canada but at this restaurant we felt like we were racially profiled. Came here based on the reviews but we were extremely disappointed. Except for the tom yum soup, everything else was average and the peanut curry was so bad that we couldn t have more than a bite! When we let the server, Naila, know, she told us, well next time you know what not to order! and walked away. As a courtesy, she didn t even offer to take it off our bill.

I have been to Thailand and I can swear and tell the food here is bad and if u let the waitress know she ll not take it back. I had a bad experience, felt I was racially profiled.

Located in a plaza with some deep pot holes but worth it because the food is pretty good and the staff is amazing! Will come back again

Worst ever Ordered take out told to pick up at 6:32 Wasn t ready had to wait 25 minutes. So basically they had not prepared order and were throwing it together as we waited Food disgusting Tumyum Pho. Tasted like dish soap Sooo hot. Dumped it Summer rolls. Lettuce, noodles and couple pieces of shredded carrots Boring. Thank goodness for peanut sauce to add a bit of flavour Pad Thai with chicken tasteless, sauce watery pieces of chicken skin in it. Ugg Would have given it 0 stars if I could My hubs was so angry because of the wait. Would have gone to Phai Palace but they weren t open.

We order pad thai, pad see ew, and fried rice. Everything tasted great. My kids loved it too.

Better Thai than other places in Windsor. Fresh vegetables and ingredients make a difference. Love the sesame chicken medium spice.

Always great food. I also get Pad Sweet Basil or Pad Panang. The mango sticky rice is really good. Try the jasmine ice cream Vegetarian options: The menu clearly states what has animal products so you can customize if you need to ( or if its able to be modified ) the staff are very knowledgeable. Dietary restrictions: You can build your own so theres something for everyone in your party Parking: Good size parking lot Kid-friendliness: The kids meals are great. My kids love the chicken satay with side of rice.

We were driving around looking for a place to grab some dinner and came across Simply Thai. I had never even noticed the restaurant but my wife felt like Thai so we gave it a try. It was a great experience. The food was really good and the portions were great. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options

Told staff of an allergy before ordering. They assured me my order was free of said food. When I received food, it took a couple of bites before I realized it had what I was allergic to. I decided to leave and asked for a refund; and was refused. Manager was awful. Will never be going back.

Coconut curry soup. Everything else we have ordered is awesome, too. But that soup is unbelievable.

Nice people. Awful food. The cocinar curry tastes like coconut water. The satay chicken is dry. The vermicelli noodles are bland.

WORST Thai food I ve ever had! I ordered the coconut curry that s supposed to come with chicken and shrimp. There was zero chicken and there were two and a half shrimps sliced in half to make it look like five. The coconut broth was so watered down that it had no flavour. The noodles came with sliced cucumbers and iceberg lettuce which made it taste even more watery. Awful! This is not Thai food. Don t waste your money here.

Great for take out - prices are very reasonable and the food is really good. I usually order online and tend to give them a lot of advanced notice and it sometimes gets busy with take out orders.

Quite a busy spot for early Friday evening and its not difficult to understand why - many Thai standards as well as a build your own option. Good variety of appetizers and all good prepared to order and as requested.

Easily the best thai restaurant in all of Windsor. Their food is always fresh and full of flavor. Great option of vegans/vegetarians since more than half their menu can be modified accordingly. Staff is very warm and accommodating to any requests. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area !

First time ordering a platter for a party from this restaurant and they were great! Also very affordable for the amount of food you get. We ordered a Pad Thai and green curry platter and they said each platter serves 8-10 people but we had a lot of left overs which was nice. And they were very generous with the veggies and meat in the platter. Overall get experience and great taste! Shout out to Shannon for taking our order, she was very knowledgeable.

Peanut stir fry was very bland and watery. I have never had a good experience with stir frys being creamy or just not watery here and tried after a few years to give it a shot again and the same thing. Very bland and watery. Will not eat here again.

The Thai Style Pho (with chicken and beef) was hearty, perfectly seasoned and extremely filling. The Peanut Curry (with chicken) was delicious - the roasted peanuts added fantastic layers of taste and texture. The portion was also very generous.

I ordered shrimp pad thai. It tasted ok, but was violently vomitting for days afterward. Never again.

Such good food! Always get the chicken satay and the build your own stir fry. The ingredients are great and the spice is just right no matter what sauce you have. The best Thai food I know.

Ordered a chicken and shrimp pad see ew and shrimp summer rolls. The portions were small, the chicken and shrimp were overcooked and dry, and the noodles were watery. I requested a medium spice level, and it was as spicy as ketchup would be. I was really hoping for an authentic flavour, but I was disappointed with a white-washed meal. Although the food wasn t anywhere near authentic, I could see how customers who are not used to south east asian food would be fine with it.

Excellent food and great service. We ate and then sat around talking and no one came to send us away. We really appreciated the kindness. We will definitely go back again!!!

Great food and excellent customer service but I cant give them 4+ start bcz of small plastic pieces I found in my take out food. They need to pay more attention in the kitchen so small plastic bag pieces wouldnt end up in the customers food .....

If you are looking for a real thai food flavor please do yourself a favor and dont go to simply thai restaurant. Prices are expensive comparing to the portion they serve you. I ordered pho it tasted like Campbells pho broth not the real pho bone broth flavor, pad thai did not had enough noodles or flavor, tamarind flavor tasted like light soy sauce. The servant rushes u to order than rushes u to leave. Very very unsatisfied.

Used to be a staple at our house but its going downhill it seems. Pad thai tasted like vinegar, too sour and no real flavour, very light on the veggies and next to no chicken pieces. Times are tough due to covid but dont change how you prepare your dishes!

Not a single vegetable in my stir fry was cooked, found a hair in it, then when they re did it for me still wasn t cooked and added so much spice to the point where I couldn t taste anything when my original order had no spice, this dish isn t even edible...

I picked up 3 separate dishes for my family today. When I got home with the food I open the takeout boxes... all of our stirfry had absolutely NO sauce in it, the noodles were dry and stuck together. Such a bummer! because I loved this place so much. Won t be ordering from simply Thai ever again. This isn t the first time I ve had a problem. :(

Great food and atmosphere, priced right and always top quality.

Over one and half hour wait from initial time of placing the order. This was only for 2 spring rolls and a stir fry noodle dish. ONE HOUR AND HALF HOUR WITH WRONG ITEMS AND DISAPPOINTING QUALITY. Definitely not worth the time or money. Chicken spring rolls that I ordered were definitely store bought and was given the wrong one. One was veggie and the other had dark mystery meat. Stir fry was soggy and bland. Do not recommend! Be careful of the wait, there were a lot of disappointed customers!

We came to this restaurant with some family and when I first heard of this place, I thought for sure it would be mediocre at best. It seemed a little inauthentic. However, I was completely wrong. The restaurant itself is nothing too exciting, but the food was great. They have a great peanut sauce and the dish I got as my main was delicious.

Good food at a good price. Many vegetarian options available. Im not sure about gluten-free however. For those of you that havent been a long time take note that the location is moved across the street.

Flavorful food and helpful staff. I find the menu has plenty of options and everything Ive had so far is fantastic. Lots of flavor. Ive brought a few others to try it out and they all really enjoy it The atmosphere is nice and its not overly expensive lunch and dinner menus are the same and they also have a make your own to suit different tastes or diet needs My only problem is that I didnt know of this place sooner

Pad Panang

Ordered carry-out food for 3 times for the last 2 weeks. Every time, it s either being charged for extra grilled tofu which is actually not in the dish or forgetting to include the lettuce for the lettuce wrap. The food tasted quite well relatively as the only Thai restaurant in this area. Highly recommend to dine in since you can see what exactly is served in your dish.

Excellent Thai food with friendly service in an informal very pleasant setting. The lettuce wraps appetizer was full of flavor and stir-fry main dish was a nice blend of typical Thai flavors. The price is a good value for the overall quality of this dinning experience.

Chicken pad Thai what a disappointment. No chicken no taste. Lettuce wraps a bust. We have been going there for years but last night was our last. I am reviewing for my husband. All leftovers are in the garbage.

Not very authentic. Ordered a thai coconut noodle soup and was quite disappointed. All I could taste were coconut and chilies. Portion size was good for its price. Would not recommend if youre looking for authentic thai.

Flavourless Thai Fried Rice with completely dried-out tofu croutons, for lack of a better word. Im not even sure how tofu could get this bad or how anyone could think it was acceptable to serve these hard, spongey pieces. Incredibly disappointing take-out experience.

Highest quality Thai food Ive had in Windsor/Tecumseh, very fresh!

We love our Thai food, so long as it is authentic and prepared correctly. Simply Thai is just that, simple Thai(?) food. The appetizers were fair, we had the fresh Spring rolls, Chicken Spring rolls and the Tom Yum soup. Average at best and nothing to write home about... Onto the main course, we ordered the Spicy Eggplant and the Pad Thai which i ordered as not spicy. When the meals arrived they looked nicely prepared, however upon tasting them, this is where it all fell apart... The spicy eggplant was sweet only, no spice at all which was thoroughly disappointing. The Pad Thai was just as sweet and the noodles were still hard in the middle. We ordered the main dishes with chicken, another huge disappointment as the chicken is boiled and then added on top of the meal! Tastes just like boiled chicken... We left around 3/4s of our main course at the restaurant... When asked if we enjoyed our meal, i told the waitress very nicely what was mentioned above. She said she was sorry and that was it. No offer of a discount or anything in that regards... We will not be wasting any more money at this establishment.

Food is great. Its even better if you ask the owner to make you his authentic house food that not on the menu! Larp, pho, and thai style Papaya salad. Its to authentic for the area.

The best Thai restaurant in town. Great atmosphere and nice workers. The Ultimate Kapow dish is my favorite. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that want to try something new or a fan of authentic Thai food.

Not amazing but good standard Thai food. They have a create your own stir fry which was pretty cool but a little overwhelming with all the options. I just opted for the Pad Thai which had a good balance of sweet/savory/sour.

Nice place, food was good and server was friendly but I wasnt asked if I wanted anything else to drink just got water , and wasnt asked to refill the water , nor was I asked if I wanted desert !

Its been a long standing restaurant in Tecumseh/Windsor for a good reason, service is friendly and very quick, we often order the Pan Panang for Pick up and its done in roughly 10min. Atmosphere is great a quick date night and a movie.
