Been awhile since we ate here. Food still good. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Only wish debit or credit was an option. Almost had to leave before we sat down because we could barely find the physical money to pay.

We were visiting Windsor and looking for a place to have a quick lunch. Someone we know from Windsor recommend this place to us. It did not disappoint! My wife had a Rueben and I had a Bacon Cheeseburger with fries. My wife loved her sandwich. My burger, well, it was probably one of the best burgers I have ever had. The patty was fairly big, moist, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The burger should be about the meat patty and thats how it was. No overwhelming bun, sauces and veggies The serving of fries is fairly big and can be shared between two people, IMO. The service too was on point. one thing to know - they are a cash only establishment. We are from out of town and will miss this little place. Highly recommended!

This is the best breakfast spot we got in Tecumseh. Love their food and service, all girls on service are very nice and serve you from heart. Its almost our family restaurant specially for breakfast on weekend morning. Everybody on town should try over here for good food specially their pan cakes and sandwiches.

Pretty sure its family owned. Im not a fan of corned beef, but their Rueben was delicious. Good sized portions, fair prices. Also some good vegetarian options.

Great breakfast and lunch spot. Very popular place on Saturday and Sunday mornings, which means getting a seat can be tricky. I always go for the spinach pie and salad -- very tasty and good value. Highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Not lot of options for lunch, but the spinach pie and the salads. Side of fries. No vegan options other than a toasted tomato sandwich, which is not on the menu, but they will make it for you. Parking: Parking in front Kid-friendliness: Its a family restaurant.

Great breakfast place. Homemade potatoes were mashed and then fried. Toast was fresh & delicious. Bacon could be more cooked, but other than that, everything else was great.

I was told about The Sandwich Nook and I had to try it out! Food, delicious!! Went for breakfast, which is my fave meal! Eggs Benny was awesome, Hollandaise sauce nom nom! Service was super friendly, quick and perfect!! However, its a cash only business, so I had to leave, go to a bank and withdraw money. This costs them 1 Star...Im not a fan of making it hard to pay the bill!

Best Ruben sandwich since Malicks

Was craving a OG Malics corned beef sandwich and The Sandwich Nook did not disappoint! We ordered one corned beef and one pastrami sandwich and they were both equally delicious! The meat is piled high, fresh and lean and the marble rye was just as tasty including the dill pickle :) Outstanding service! Highly recommend and will definitely be returning back!

I always try to visit this place every time I visit my family in Windsor. The service is always great, and the food is exceptional. The traditional breakfast with hash browns is a must, as is the Reuben sandwich for lunch. There are so many comfort meals to choose from. Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible with parking directly in front.

One of the Premier eggs Benedict in Windsor. The rest of the menu is top notch as well. One of my favorite eateries in Windsor area.

Honestly one of the best spots that Tecumseh has to offer. We love getting the ultimate nook breakfast and the gyros with Greek salad. So good! Extremely friendly and personable staff that goes above and beyond. The Sandwich Nook will always remain a Saturday morning staple.

Love Sandwich Nook! Used to live in the neighbourhood and went there at least once a month. Still visit from time to time and the food is amazing and so are the staff.

Travelled from Stoney point after checking their website (and calling) they forgot to mention it is CASH ONLY. Crazy concept, but you should probably indicate that to your customers before they enter your shop. Food served cold as well. Not recommended.

Cash only. But wow is it worth it. The turkey rueben with deli meat is the best sandwich in the world. The staff have always treated me and my family very well.

Club pita horrible. Dry. No ham. Who makes a club with no ham? Fries hard as a rock.

Checked it out cause of high ratings, I guess if you aren t a regular you re not a priority, table after me got I think the water and coffee I ordered before them cause i never got a water ,( asked twice,)the food was pretty bland, I get it,it s not easy to please everyone, sometimes there is different reasons y things aren t great but I m not picky or rude to the service persons,I still tip, but expected more from a highly rated place

The best service with awesome food.

Not only is the service friendly, but they make pretty good grilled cheese sandwiches and fries. However, why dont they accept credit cards? So that way, I dont have to worry about not having any cash in my wallet. I still recommend it, though.

Very good lunch

We ve had The Sandwich Nook on multiple occasions and they always deliver delicious food with good portions at a decent price. I always get the rueben on marbled rye with sauerkraut. It is the BEST in the area! My kids like their chicken fingers and they have a delicious Lemon Rice soup we always get as a side order. The service is always friendly and punctual. I cannot say enough for this little gem of a sandwich shop. Keep up the amazing work! My only recommendation is to perhaps get debit so I don t always have to have cash on hand. It s worth it regardless :)

Had a wonderful breakfast and the young lady serving us was wonderful and pleasant.

Such an awesome place for a perfect morning breakfast. The prices are very reasonable and the food is phenomenal. My wife and I eat there atleast 3 times a month. I always get the eggs Benedict with ham. By far the best eggs Benedict in town. The only downfall is cash only. The servers and cooks are very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend eating here such a great place

Great breakfast place in Windsor who lacks these types of establishments. The eggs and pancakes we had were delicious and definitely tasted homemade. The service was efficient. My only problem is that staff didn t fully inspect our vaccination status. We didn t feel as protected as we did in other restaurants who fully inspected our status.

Went here for breakfast with my husband. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Had the breakfast special and the food came quickly, was hot and prepared just right. Its out of the way for us to go to but very much worth the effort.

I have been going here for years and have never had a bad meal. Fresh soups daily. If your going be sure to get the TURKEY SLAW . Fresh oven baked turkey with a tangy house made coleslaw. The best sandwich ever

Lunch was delicious! Its hard to find Egg Salad and Chicken Salad Sandwiches like momma used to make. Service is always cheerful and quick. Kudos to a well run familg business no matter the day!

Decided to go to the sandwich nook because of the reviews on google. Unfortunately me and my boyfriend went there for breakfast. Waited 45 mins for the food and the food was Bland. Bacon and eggs undercooked and pancakes were overcooked. Wouldn t return!

Today was my first and last visit to this establishment. I would like to start out with the fact that it took over 10 min for the waitress to offer us menus and drinks and it was freezing in the dining area. I ordered from under the burgersection - a chicken burger made with chicken breast. I was expecting a nice piece of chicken breast and what I recieved was a frozen chicken patty. Not to mention, I had asked for no mayo and recieved mayo. I was left to sit and wait for nearly 10 min while my friend ate her food so it wouldnt get cold. The waitress barely checked on us, and she wasnt knowledgable about the menu. When it was time to pay, I had inquired about a discount due to my food being messed up and having to wait. - the answer was a quick, straight NO... 10% off would of been less than a dollar off of my bill and it would of satisfied me as far as customer service goes.
