Pacific Belle Seafood in Windsor

Visited Pacific Belle for the first time after hearing good things. There was 8 of us and everything was good. The food was excellent, everyone very much enjoyed their meals. Service was good could of been more attentive seeing as there was only 2 other tables of 2 in the restaurant. We will definitely all be back and recommend it to others.

Had the shrimp cod and clam strips. Was very good nice cute little place would go back for sure.

Although not exactly known for It s land lover menu items this Roast Beef Dinner Special I ordered (see photo) brought a whole new meaning to my definition of Comfort Food done right ! Start to finish,,, it was perfectly hearty & yum! What a meal !!! Thank you Pacific Belle! I ll be back

Traveling through this part of Canada , we wanted to try so local fish dish and found this place online. Arriving in at night we were not sure of our choice. But we did not regret it, the little oyster were great, the fishes were amazing. A little gem of a restaurant.

The environment was comfortable with pleasant spacing - finding the location is not difficult and the location has good parking spaces available Service was great, my experience was during happy hour which was from 3 pm - 5 pm (at the time of this review) and was a great value to split items between myself and a friend The food was great and prices were fair, drinks also available and compliments the menu well Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to try a local seafood restaurant Parking: The shop is on a corner near a light - turning into the shop parking is very convenient despite being on a busy intersection

Food was absolutely amazing props to the cooks! One waitress though was bad talking us loudly to other the customers behind the bar for sending a drink back saying nothing was wrong with the drink , while we were still present, very unprofessional.

Based on all the negative reviews and how staff discriminates against people of colour. I will not waste my money at this restaurant. Plus ..its Frozen seafood. Ughhh

This is a wonderful restaurant with amazing seafood and even better customer service. We tried their 2 can dine pasta special on Wednesdays and me and my wife were both very satisfied. We also tried some of their happy hour menu items and for the price and quality of the food it s definitely a must try! Their shrimp nachos and fish and chips on this menu were both delicious and kid approved!

Racist resturants, just coz we are different they delayed our order on purpose the waiteress was not even apologetic when we said will.leave without eating. They are definitely against brown colored people and hate that we entered their place. She kept saying 5 to 10 minutes for over one hour none of us got his order. We were a group and left feeling disgusted by the miserable treatment we had as we were not white. I hope I have th time to file for discrimnation against the host and chef and owner very soon.

If you or someone you re with is a person of colour, please avoid this place. They re not like us and they don t like us. Don t give this place your money, they made it clear that they don t want it. So unless you re palm coloured, stay clear of this place.

Seriously good! The Snow crab was tender and full of flavour. The slight sweetness of the crab meat paired so well with the salty, garlic butter thats brought to your table. The Shrimp has a savoury buttery sauce its sautéed in and the lobster tail was absolutely HUGE. Even the mini lobster tail that came with my meal was quite sizable, reminding me of the regular sized tails at other establishment. The sides we where served with our seafood where mashed potatoes that werent overly seasoned so they just sucked up all the sauce on your plate, and asparagus which is fresh in season this time of year. Toasted garlic bread was brought to our table free of charge as well, and the selection for alcoholic beverages was quite large given the size of the establishment. The atmosphere is small, cozy and right on theme for what this place serves. fisherman decor dawns the walls, and string lights bring the cozy feeling together. Our waitress was incredible as well, she was kind, funny and attentive. We stumbled across this place by complete chance, but I have a feeling its going to become a staple for us any time the craving for seafood hits again. I cant recommend it enough, dont be fooled by the location or the quaint size of the building. From the chef, to the service to the experience itself. This place is worth every penny!

The atmosphere is perfect. Like something out of a Tarantino movie, that ends with happy customers with full bellies. I love this place. I had the perch. It was ridiculously amazing. The slaw, yes please. The homemade tartar sauce. Yes. Even more. This place is a hidden gem.

Best fish and chips I ve ever had. I love the romantic feel of the place yet it s like a pub environment, so I can dress casual or dress up. The dill tartar sauce is amazinggg! & so was our service. 5 stars all the way!!

My takeaways from dining here - The food was excellent - Staff was very friendly but we waited a very long time to even get a drink order taken. (20 minutes) - The tables are very close together. - Very expensive. Which is to be expected with seafood, but I found that $366 is a little excessive for 2 people. Granted, we each had 3 drinks.

Pacific Belle now has a giant chicken parm! You get that with a beautiful side of pasta! It s the best restaurant in the Detroit/Windsor region. You will not eat anywhere as good as you will here. One word: Amazing!

You should kick yourself, if you don t try this amazing dining experience! I was told by a client how wonderful the food is, so we went to try it out. We were greeted by our server Sam who was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, and even gave us instructions how to reheat our leftovers the next day, so we would still have the best quality to be had. The amount of food for your money is incredible. If you go on your birthday, they give you a discount. Such as, if you re 65 years old, you get 65% off your meal. (Platters not included, which is understandable) We had the king crab, snow crab, jumbo shrimp, lobster, braised beef, and everything was so fresh & tender, with an explosion of flavours. The servings were more than adequate. We drove over an hour away to eat there, and we will be back! Highly recommend!

I was disappointed they put over peppered beer batter on lake pearch fillet??? And then over cooked the hell out-of it, and it doesnt cost much to put a few decent fries on your plate not a bunch of unpealed rotten potatoes. You wont see me there again,you had your chance!!!!

A brand new restaurant in town and my husband decided to surprise me for dinner. A cozy, small almost coming-back-home feeling restaurant. Our server Erica was gracious and very nice. We decided to dine on just entrée because too many to choose from . We had mussels -I llllove mussels- crispy calamari and lobster cheesy dip all these washed down with an excellent Moscato. Theres a danger: the basket of the garlic bread OMG its soooo gooood.

The Poutine Oscar is AMAZING!! A meal in itself! Moe and Krystalyn were stupendous servers!! Get a margarita made by Moe. Youll definitely go back for seconds! This is high end seafood dining. Be prepared to have your taster tantalized!!

Went here recently for my birthday. I got the braised beef and jumbo prawns, my wife for the papperdelle with shrimp and haddock. Both dishes were excellent! We ended on creme brule which was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Im from the Maritimes ... Its the best restaurant for seafood Ive seen outside fishing communities. And when I think I paid $20 for a nothing burger at other establishments I have to say it was a relaxing treat (and I walked out with a nice french bottle of wine for pairing with steak for the weekend). Oh and the scallops were very decandent I was a little overwhelmed with the options (vegan, small plates for sharing, sandwich meals or monster seafood platters) but when I asked for simple things like malt vinegar or a nice glass of wine all the details were there. Parking: I found plenty of parking but the place can get busy quick (but I found parking on mothers day)

Great food and great prices for drinks but I was very bothered and put off that the wait staff were discussing the kind of cars customers drive and how much they were willing to spend and tip. They should be more mindful that customers can hear your conversations. I dont think we will be returning for this reason. Customers shouldnt be judged and talked about openly, very unprofessional.

Amazing date night dinner. Wednesday half off bottles of wine we had a Cave Spring Rose. Started with a dozen oysters. Mains were haddock fish and chips and the shrimp po boy with poutine. Portions were huge, everything was so fresh too. We will be back!

Windsor - this is such a gem! Absolutely wonderful seafood, cocktails & desserts. Large, very shareable portions. The atmosphere is jazzy, nostalgic & upscale. A great new addition to the fabulous Windsor food scene. We were all blown away.

We ve gone here a few times since they ve opened and every time it s phenomenal. We keep making the mistake of ordering small plate menu items before the entrees and end up stuffed to the gills! This time we had the Mussels and Crab Rangoon to start, followed by the Wheatley skink chowder and Shrimp Po-boy for our mains. We were going to share but after getting halfway through we decided to pass out instead. The mussels were great, very flavourful and the meat on them was quite large! The crab Rangoon was great as well, very full and creamy. We probably should have stopped here because our pants were getting tight but the natural stupidity of man had us chugging forward. The Wheatley skink chowder was amazing. It had a Smokey flavour to it almost like bacon and the perch texture was perfect. We shared the shrimp Po-boy but we had to eat most of the shrimp off the sandwhich before raising it to our faces, there was just so much shrimp on it. It was surprising. We ended up having to take half of everything home because we couldn t eat anymore, and our kids were thankful. They give the food a 5 as well so this is really a 10. Service is always top notch and the atmosphere is a strange classy, jazzy, fishermen s shack kind of jam but we totally dig it. Definitely will be coming back it s so nice to have a seafood specialist in the neighbourhood that uses locally sourced food at decent prices.

We ve driven by Pacific Belle a thousand times and finally decided to try it out after our neighbours gave it a great review. I ll start my review with the important stuff: the food. We ordered both soups to start, the French onion and the smoked perch chowder. The broths were so flavourful and I appreciate the use of fresh herbs and ingredients. The portions were big which properly reflects the price of the soup. (I would love to see a smaller option become available). For our mains, we ordered the 2 piece halibut fish and chips, the bang bang shrimp and the Oscar fries (their version of a seafood poutine). The food served was elevated without being pretentious. And everything was delicious! All the portions were generous and we ended up taking some home. So sadly, we had no room for dessert. If you care about the other stuff at a restaurant, keep reading. The inside of the restaurant is on the smaller side (seats under 50ppl). There was light jazz playing throughout our meal to help create a romantic ambiance. The nautical theme is modern and tasteful done with dark green walls, gold accents, natural woods and leathers. The many nautical themed pictures on the wall added a lot of character. Good quality dinnerware and cutlery were selected for this restaurant. And the chairs were extremely comfortable! Moe was polite and professional while he waited on us. He didn t make us feel rushed and honestly answered any questions we had about the menu. We will 100% be coming back for a bowl of soup on a cold winter night. I also look forward to trying other items on the menu at our next visit. Vegetarian options: There s a vegan burger on the menu, multiple delicious sounding salads priced without protein and French onion soup (with cheese tho). Parking: Plenty of parking behind and to the east side of the restaurant. If the lot is full (highly doubt this would happen) there s free street parking down the side street or gas station across the street.

We had the gift of our first visit to this wonderful restaurant last night! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left everything was extraordinary!! We felt like we were guests and the food was all fantastic! From the Shrimp P.O. Boy to the halibut and Shrimp Tacos we couldn t have asked for better quality!! The Oscar fries are a treat indeed! The portion sizes are huge and for the top notch quality the prices are on point!! If you love seafood this is the place to go!! We will be back!!

Service and presentation were fantastic, but the food did not impress. I was really hoping this would be worth the money, and live up to the expectations but the food was bland, the lobster was chewy and over cooked. Even the butter had no flavour. The oysters tasted dirty and looked awful. Save yourself $500 and pass.

This is definitely the best seafood restaurant in Windsor. Perfectly executed and cooked, great service and atmosphere. And fair pricing for seafood this far from an ocean. If youre a seafood fan, then this will probably be your new favorite restaurant in the area. Kid-friendliness: They were amazing with our baby and other children in the restaurant.

We have gone to Pacific Belle for a few different celebrations. Food is excellent! So nice for Windsor to have a serious seafood restaurant. Staff are friendly helpful and patient Love the different specials offered 2for1 or discount Birthday cost etc. Also decorated so interestingly, very comfortable. We absolutely love it here.

Restaurant was recommended by several people so we decided to give it a try. Its a small establishment. Not too many tables, but very cozy. Decor is very classic, a bit dark. We started with mussels as is our usual, I liked that they brought out a lot of bread to dip in the sauce which most restaurants dont provide. I had the sea bass which was amazing, came with rice and corn. Portion was a bit smaller but sufficient for sure. My wife got the Pappardelle pasta with shrimp, also very good. One of the kids chose the 2 piece cod fish & chips, it comes with coleslaw and fries, that ended up being too much, one piece would have been sufficient. The other got the house burger which was ok. Price was very appropriate. Definitely will be coming back.

First time trying pacific Belle have to say the wait staff was amazing always seeing if you needed anything else the food unbelievable our table started with the lobster dip it was delicious after that we all ordered tacos all delicious the fish ,shrimp,and pulled pork very filling and amazing flavor taco night is Thursday my niece ordered chicken linguine the whole table picked at her dish lol another delicious dish PS just dont fill up on the complimentary bread or you will be bringing lots of extras home HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Absolutely amazing! Had the cod fish and chips that was the best I ever had. Not too greasy and loads of flavour. I do recommend the gravy as it is a great pairing with the dish. Service was prompt and amazing attitudes all around. Atmosphere was cozy and decor was well suited for the theme. It is well worth the price!

So excited to finally make reservations and go here! It s been on our list of places to try for a while! We went for a birthday so you get the % off the age you re turning off your entree! Such a great idea! Great service and price for seafood! We enjoyed the calamari so much! Such nice texture and not chewy. The breading had such good flavour. Also ordered fish tacos for dinner the chipotle aioli sauce was amazing and delicious. Seafood linguine was great, it had plump scallops, shrimp and muscles in a garlic wine sauce. Can t wait to go back and try something new.

Phenomenal food & extremely friendly service, I definitely plan to dine here again.

Delicious food for the hungry soul

All the food was great, especially the calamari. Service was really good, I loved the cozy atmosphere and decor. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic little gem .. with an equally fantastic staff .. FOH and BOH .. have been here 2x both for special occasions and they knocked it out of the park !!!

The appetizers were excellent the main course was very good and the service was extremely great. The total check was more than reasonable for an excellent dinner. I was expecting to pay at least $50 more than we paid.

Excellent all around. The crabs rangoon appetizer is a favourite, as are the bang-bang shrimp. Its the grooviest restaurant in town!

The food was amazing, drinks were great. Quiet, you can hear each other speak. Staff were on top of things No complaints

Food was good . Service very slow. Ceasar drink ( not on the drink menu ended costing $17. Didnt question it, paid the bill with a full 22 percent tip, just wont go there again.
