I gave the service two stars because; I being a Middle Eastern woman came in and ordered a felafel with spicy level of hot sauce. The associate assumed because of my fair complexion that I can’t handle heat and put three dots of the hot sauce saying it’s too hot to handle. Which made me angry because first of all who are you to judge what I can and cannot handle. Second of all, how does it matter to you how much hot sauce I like. Don’t tell me what I can and can’t do if you think I can’t handle it. It’s not your problem ;put the hot with the amount that I request and I will pay the consequences later
I stopped in since I'm not usually on this side of town, and after a pretty high recommendation from a buddy, I was definitely disappointed. The rice and beef were pretty tasteless, and the fattoosh salad was overloaded by massively cut raw onions and not enough dressing. Definitely would not try again.
Very clean on entry with someone there to help right away. He was very patient while we ordered and offered better solutions. The food was amazing! We brought it home to eat and it was still hot. I had chicken on the rocks with salad. Portion was huge so there were left overs. I really enjoyed the pita chips in the salad. There’s more I want to try from the menu so I will be back Pricing was very reasonable considering all the food we received
Pretty good food and most of my friends’s go-to spot for shawarma. I usually get a chicken shawarma but this time I got the Oz Box and enjoyed it. I was starving and it did the job.
Food is so amazing here The salads are always fresh and the meat is superb cooked to perfection. The spicy sauce here is really spicy and delicious and there's different levels of spice you can choose from. The garlic sauce here is also amazing and very tangy and complements the rice perfectly. Service is always quick. And the atmosphere is typical of a fast food restaurant. The only negative thing I have to say about this place is the prices are really high but then again I did order the lamb Osmo box so for $25 it could feed about two people. Great place and I highly recommend
Always a mouth watering experience at this place with my favorite chicken Oz box on the rocks with Caesar salad. Full of flavor and ample in quantity it is sure to fill you up. The price is fair for the quality and portion size. Plenty of space for dine in. If you haven't tried it yet, you definitely need to check it out.

Update (01/05/23): The manager, Muhammad, reached out to me because he appreciated my feedback. He asked me to come back to the restaurant and talk further. Muhammad was a super nice guy. He really cares about his business, and improving it any way he can. He provided a “redemption meal” and the flavor was very impactful when compared to my previous visit. Come down and give Osmow’s another shot. 12/07/23: Osmow’s has been a lot of changes to the menu and overall aesthetic. Unfortunately, this has lead to them overlooking what made them great in the first place. Let me start off by saying the service at this location tonight was great. It was kind of rude that the employee helping me and the employee on break were talking through me, but honestly, that isnt a big deal. The restaurant was clean and bright so they are 4-stars. The food was a different story. The food was bland and their garlic sauce almost felt watered-down. I even paid for extra sauce, but it continued to lack the flavour punch i was looking for. The chicken and rice were old, overcooked, and barely considered warm. By the time I got home (<5mins), the food was almost cold. I have been going to Osmow’s for almost 15 years in Streetsville and Port Credit and these locations were always INCREDIBLE. I know things get busy and it is easier to have meat in a hot merchandiser, but the deteriorating passion in the business is evident. Overall, it’s disappointing for long-time customers like myself who appreciated its authentic and bold flavors. Side note: the large chicken on the rocks was almost too much for me.

Food is Amazing!!! Their hot sauce is actually according to my child who is a freak for heat...well, he says oh, you put hot sauce, couldnt tell haha at the top level!!!! Parking: Leaving the parking lot is a bit challenging lol with straight up drama @Tecumseh Road traffic!! Kid-friendliness: Very much so kid friendly...my beast of a 3 year old kept himself from boredom one night waiting for our order...was free to play at the table, on his chair & walking around with ease, no haters or naysayers telling him to sit down!!

It keeps to traditional arabic cuisine while having its own Canadian twist to it. Its the best of both worlds.
Store appeared clean inside. However, staff were totally unattentive and ignored us. They seemed totally disorganized and confused. Additionally we received attitude when they finally did speak to us. After the long wait, our order was incorrect and my partner felt sick the next day. Wont be returning.
We ordered delivery so no atmosphere rating. Chicken on the rocks side order of fries. DELICIOUS, food was super fast. Highly recommended!

Great food as always. The only cons here if you are new customer you will not be informed that the shawarma has different sizes. We are new customers last few months ago and we asked the woman in the counter about sizes but it seems she is not aware about it. So if you are a new customer better take your time to read the menus before you order. Anyways I love getting my shawarma here even its a little bit expensive lol

Just had a long day working and I was hoping to just go to Osmows and dine in on some chicken on the rocks. I ordered the food and received it as per usual but then I was informed by one of the workers that Dine In is closed . Nowhere it says that dine in closes at any specific time and I wish I had known prior to ordering. I just wanted to sit down and decompress and eat some Osmows. Ended up having to eat it outside the restaurant. I feel that I arrived with plenty of time. I arrived at 9:10 and ended up getting my food at 9:30. Still half an hour until closing. To make matters worse, there was a group eating right when I arrived.
Delicious food, has a unique taste unlike any other meat with rice Ive ever had.

Inattentive staff, rude owner, food is overpriced and just meh. The owner decided to continue to berate me in the comments as he did in the store. He continues to obsessively update his comments harassing me over something he could have fixed at point of service. At the time, I did not receive an apology or an offer to have my food remade so I left. Its not that deep, its not a conspiracy, I was just a paying customer who had a bad experience at his restaurant.

Absolutely horrible!! I ordered through Uber eats because I have had wonderful experiences at other locations. The order I received was completely wrong. I called the store after letting Uber know and the man on the phone said I had to deal with Uber only. He called back 10 minutes later offering to remake our order but we had to pick it up. When I politely declined indicating we ordered delivery as we were not able to pick up he got aggressive and starting yelling he didnt believe that my order was wrong and that I was lying for free food! I will never support them again! There is better food at other restaurants.

Very good shawarma plates. I always get the rice plates. The quantity is enormous. I cant finish a plate by myself. Ive tried both the chicken and the lamb and loved them both. The hot sauce is delicious?
First time trying Osmows. We will definitely not be back. I ordered chicken on the rocks with the least amount of heat and it was so spicy, the rice tasted old and I got a pita on the side which turned out to be rock hard. Maybe it was just a bad night but it was a terrible first impression!

I love Osmos
I ordered through door dash. This has been my third time ordering at this location and have not been impressed any time so this will be my last. The rice (rocks) were dry and tasted worse than those microwaveable rice containers. The fries (Stix) were average fries with little spice but were crispy. The falafel was burnt and tasteless other than a hint of oil. However the garlic sauce was great. I ordered a beyond steak wrap and the beyond steak was rubbery/slimy, but the taste of the wrap was good. The baklava, which I assume is not made in store, was delicious. So a 3/5 (probably a 2.5) for this place and would not recommend personally.

Initially i reviewed them 2 but is forced to change my review to 5 after giving there food another try. Thank you Muhammad for making it an amazing experience. Chicken on rice was a treat. Lamb shawarma was flavourful. Again Employees was amazing like last time. May be the last time was a bad day and we all are humans. Old review ... shawarma is not at all tasty. Rice had no flavour, meat was hard. Only thing good about the place was there employees.

Shawarma on rice... SOOOOO GOOD!
I am a regular customer to this store, totally disappointed with the quantity they give. Ordered 2 Chicken Saj wrap on March 1st around 9:30 pm and all I got was veggies and few chunks of meat. As you can see in the picture it is just the wraps thickness but not much of meat and veggies. I didnt pay $11-$12 per sandwich just to chew on some bread.

Any of the on the rocks dishes are the obvious highlight here. Chicken on the rocks especially when you get it fresh is delicious - nice combination of seasoned rice with tasty bits of chicken. A very good deal especially when on sale. Occasionally Ill get an order with some uncooked/undercooked bits of rice but nothing super egregious. The restaurant itself is very clean and well maintained, very modern decor. Staff is friendly and quick as well.
We ordered the first time at Osmow s Shawarma and we will be going back.The chicken Shawarma was fresh and tasty.We also ordered the Chicken Shawarma Poutine for the two of us and we were both full. I will be recommending this restaurant to my family and friends.

I waited 20 minutes for a simple chicken shawarma and fries it is not worth such slow and poor customer service. They don t even have trays for dining in, this place needs work.

If youre a student, you can come eat here because you can have a reduction. My sister took me there to try their food, and its very delicious and fantastic. The best part of this is when you order, you have a choice to take one juice and the are kind and respectfully. Ive never ate this type of food before its wonderful. This is my favorite place to eat. So I highly recommend it to everyone

I eat here quite a bit the food is normally great but occasionally the chicken will be overcooked and Ive also found bone fragments in my chicken on the rocks on more than one occasion. 9 times out of 10 the food is great.
OMG...Probably the best take out food in the city hands down. Flavor is out of this world, spicing is just right. The food amounts are excellent for what you pay. If you want a great meal when your just gonna chill at home check this place out.

I loved this place simply because the guy making my order asked me not to get the medium spice because its really very hot. This is customer service, which goes a long way in building relationships with customers. And when I tried it later, he was spot on. Very friendly place. I would visit again.

They could not deliver to my location
Going through the older reviews that the order mentions that customer satisfaction is their priority. This however wasn t the case for me today. Ordered a chicken shawarma with mild spice.Tasted like their hot spice and when I brought this up to the manager, he says don t get the spice at all if you can t handle it and gives me a blank look without doing anything about it. The manager was really rude and not at all apologetic. I mean why do they even have mild as an option when it is going to be as spicy as the hot.
Ordered from Doordash, Lamb Shawarma Oz Box with Caesar Salad, extra STIX (not needed), and hummus. I like lamb but dont cook it for myself. Theirs lamb was excellent, and I liked the variety of options in salad and sauces. I had the Garlic Sauce and Tahini that they recommended. Loads of good food, will last through tomorrow, I ordered medium spicy which was a bit too hot for me but otherwise excellent. Id try the Fatoush salad next time. Vegetarian options: I see falafel, hummus, many salads.
i ordered a chicken shawarma wrap i come here almost everyday and order same thing but today the employee was kinda new and rude. I asked her to add little extta garlic sauce in the wrap and she added too much garlix sauce that my wrap was all soggy and everything came out of it. Its a common sense thay extra means little more than usual but she put half bottle sauce in it and when i called i was told that we cant do anything.

Another location and another great one! Osmow s Sharwarma always the the best. Crew was super friendly , helpful. Food was really good and quantity is good too. This is right opposite to tecumseh mall. It has limited parking spaces. They also has sitting which is good if you want to have food there. We took the take away and it was packed perfectly. A very nice worker suggested me to try out a new limited edition special sauce. It s a new extra garlic type sauce that has a strong garlic taste which suits well with the shawarma wrap.

I literally love this place! I come here multiple times a week, there chicken shawarma wrap is so freaking good. The workers are fabulous, I mostly go in the evenings and I always see these gorgeous female employees, they are so nice and kind. The service is pretty fast, so Im out of there in about 5-10 minutes depending on how much I order. The atmosphere inside is also quite amazing, theres a few tables for an option to dine in, I mostly get takeout but its very pretty. Im gonna be coming regularly for a long time, there chicken shawarmas are that good. I totally recommend this place to anyone thats curious!

Absolutely delicious food. Ever since Messi shawarma closed down at Tecumseh mall weve been searching for a replacement. Every place weve tried since has just been a failure until we found this place! Had it about 4 times now and not once has this place failed to impress. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone. I would never recommend this place to anyone ever. I went to this place for the first time today during my lunch break and the staff member didnt provide proper customer service and the things I asked for in my food, he did not follow it. and there was just way too much hot sauce. and the wrap wasnt even grilled properly. and the fries were soggy too. I feel like the store can have someone who knows how to treat customers well. Very much disappointed in the service and the food.
I like their menu, the Menu items I ve tried are good, it s fast, price is average. My one issue is the way they do spice levels. This is not this locations fault of course, it s just the way Osmow s works. They have one spicy sauce that is very spicy, and the level you choose is just how much sauce they add. So if you aren t good with spice, imagine taking a bite of your meal that has a whole dollop of very spicy sauce then a couple bites with none..etc. I honestly don t recommend getting any of this sauce at all, or just asking for it on the side if you don t have a high spice tolerance.

After today s visit, I had to write a review If you see a new employee being trained, keep your eyes on them to make sure your order is correct or just don t bother eating here that day. Stopped by for a quick takeout order of 2 items. There were 2 employees: one lady (experienced) and one guy (new). The guy took my order and he was very courteous, however a bit slow. I understand that since he is being trained. Once I ordered, the lady told him to start on the ozbox by filling the rice. I saw him with BARE hands spreading out the rice in the ozbox I ordered. He just used the ordering system and didn t put gloves on or washed his hands. I immediately told them & they started a new box after he put his gloves on. The new guy didn t seem to know what to do at all like what to put in fattoush salad and such so the experienced employee was telling him what to do, but she wasn t watching what he was doing to make sure he was doing it right. He ended up putting the meat on both salad and rice and afterwards she was telling him to move the meat over to rice side. I told them don t bother then he forgot to put fattoush dressing on the salad. The experienced employee was making my other order which was medium fattoush salad with chicken and she put beef what s the point of the order screen? at this point I ve been here for over 10min when there was no one else there when I arrived, I was over it. The training of new employee seems to be very very relaxed & should be looked at. The food is good for quick take out & the portions are great. The location near the university is much better & quicker.
Osmow s is a family middle eastern food chain. They have amazing poutine s, osbox combos and shawarma s. This particular store has plenty of space to seat customers in house and the order takers are very friendly.
DONT TRY THIS RESTAURANT Bad experience, with owner, I did order shawarma wrap and i see the person who did make me sandwiches did touch everything in the restaurant and then make my sandwich without change his gloves and when i asked him to change it he didnt accept it and shouting on me and when i asked him to return money he didnt accept it and refuse to give me receipt for my payment. its last time and i wont try this restaurant anymore
