Great service, delicious food. Nice to see and try the “Authentic Thai” menu - I got the crispy pork belly dish and it was great. Augmented by it being a meal at the end of a long drive but I trust it would be just as good regardless. Big portions will make good leftovers!

The food was so incredibly fresh and delicious! Great, friendly service and very nice prices! My only "complaint" is they did not have a high chair for my Grandson. Not really a big deal, though.

Tiny Thai has quickly become my favorite restaurant in the county. I can't believe it took me so long to give this spot a try, but after my first dinner there, I was hooked—I even went back the following weekend because it was that incredible. The menu offers an amazing variety with well-labeled dishes, and nearly everything can be modified to accommodate dietary or allergy needs. Although it's BYOB, they provide ice water, which came in handy when I forgot to bring my own. The interior is charming, though it seems many customers opt for takeout. The food is prepared shortly after you order, and the appetizer menu is packed with classics, each paired with a variety of delectable sauces. The vegetables are fresh, the spices and sauces are out of this world, and the proteins are top-notch. For my vegan friends, they offer tofu and vegan duck, while their chicken, shrimp, and duck have all been incredibly impressive. So far, I've tried the ginger duck and the pad prik pao with duck—both were absolutely mind-blowing. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions you get. I honestly can't say enough good things about Tiny Thai. You simply have to try it.

Wow! Great Thai food, tiny place, could be twice as large and would still be just as busy. The Red Curry Rice with pork was fantastic. Awesome Jasmine tea and ginger tea as well. App said not busy, but it's always busy! Waited 20 minutes for a table but so worth it. Recommended

Had a lovely meal here on a short visit and I can't say enough good things about this restaurant and it's proprietors. I learned that they've been around for almost a decade and that they tend to be quite popular when it's raining. They had a take away counter and it looked extra busy with all the folks showing up for their takeaway meals. The service was excellent, they were able to accommodate me on a busy evening even though I was dining alone. Their ginger lemon ice tea gave me the best ginger ale vibes without being ginger ale. The app they called the crispy combo was quite delicious. And the ginger chicken, totally gingery - but in a good and not overwhelming way.

I loved it. I was not expecting to find amazing Thai food here in Burlington! After a 20 minute wait on a busy Saturday night, we got our food within 15 minutes of sitting down. We had the spicy and aromatic green curry, and Thai fried rice with crabmeat. Both were delicious. Total for two around $40. Thanks for the great evening.

Small space but fast service despite being busy! Started with a refreshing Thai Tea (as good as you'd expect), as well as an appetizers of crispy duck (SO good, like fried chicken but distinct duck flavor and sweet/sour sauce) and pork dumplings. Entrees of a fried rice and drunken fried noodles. The noodles packed the HEAT but in a great way. I don't do spicy foods much and the noodles ranked about in the middle of their spice chart, I'd say it is well marked. Very spicy but right down the middle (about as spicy as I'd want something to be).

The vegan menu had limited options, but we enjoyed the food. We had ordered a bit too much so we packed the leftovers to take away. Service was quite Swift and efficient. The place was not too crowded. Mist visit once again to try their other dishes.

How do you mess up pad see-ew? That is a classic Thai dish. It was absolutely so dry! Where is the sauce? Where is the flavor? However, I would recommend the Massaman Curry with chicken it s pretty good. The mango and sticky rice is okay it also needs more flavor.

Always enjoyed trying new things on the menu & have been satisfactorily so far. I would NOT recommend their Crispy combo as it is a chunk of a deep fried vegetable and very flavorless & comes with side of sauce that is the only good thing about the appetizer. Dim sum dumplings are tasty but for $6 they give you 4 which personally I believe should have 6 for the price.

I tried this place when I first arrived in Vermont a couple of years ago and thought it was OK, nothing special. I just went back a couple of weeks ago and I am still thinking about the pineapple fried rice. I was very happy with the flavor and service. Got there early and still had to wait for a seat, but once seated the food came quick, hot, and good. Going to put this on my take out list...in fact, might order it tonight. Parking: You might struggle to get a spot. Street parking means a bit of a walk.

Descent food but terrible service, and threats of pote tial credit cadd fraud! A group of 5 of us went to have a company paid dinner at this place. When it was time to pay they didnt ask if we wanted separate bills, they just brought one bill. Our company requires each person to submit their own receipt even if we dine together so we kindly asked to split our bills. When we went to the cash to get it sorted the owner (I think) was very rude and told us they will only do 2 bills max. Some dude the pointed to the fine print on a page about their payment policy that the server didnt let us know about before we even ordered. We explained our situation and she said she will only do it if we pay 20% tip. Service did not deserve that much but we agreed so we could get out of there. As we were paying one of my colleagues didnt hear about the 20% IMPOSED tip amount so I clarified for her. The owner then said if you dont put 20% Ill just charge it on my end. Pretty sure tampering with a signed bill is fraudulent... Noone had said no to her ridiculous 20% request.

They created a table of one just for me. What a pleasant surprise.

December 21, 2023

In the beginning of August, I bit on a big staple that was embedded in my fried rice. Long story short, a few weeks later, I was getting a root canal. I contacted Tiny Thai and they put me in touch with their Insurance company. I was kindly and reasonably requesting they pay for the dental bills associated with the pain that started and got worse after biting on the staple: eventually ending in a horrible root canal (and crown placement). I thought I was being judicious and thoughtful by not going for pain and suffering of which there was a fair amount. The tooth, a bottom molar, had a mild pre-existing condition (conservative cavity) that the respective dentist put in writing that in no way caused the root canal. Because I wasn t an established patient at said dentist or the endo who performed the root canal, (thus they would ve had recent X-rays and notes on my teeth), they couldn t legally say it was the staple that caused it, but it s obvious it WAS. Teeth are tricky I know, but this feels like getting in a car accident, breaking your arm, and having the offender s insurance company say, your arm could ve been injured before the crash, so we aren t responsible in full. The bills totaled just over 5000$. Tiny Thai & their insurance agreed to pay only 1775$, in an effort to buy peace, but true accountability wasn t taken. I considered going to court, but just wanted the situation over. Their food is tasty, but not worth a root canal. It s interesting to me, because if they had paid these bills without claiming preposterous scenarios like 1) I made it up 2) The tooth was hurt anyway and going to die on its own etc then they would ve kept my business and that of those close to me. Over time, having not lost said business, seems like that would have been a better deal for everyone. I also have 2 very public facing jobs and have shared this story when it comes up. It s my belief the situation wasn t handled with morals and responsibility. Keep an eye out out for foreign metal in your Tiny Thai. Bummer.

Great spot, and one of our absolute favorites for cool nights. The warm authentic Thai spices can be mild or authentically hot! Its a great spot, and every dish Ive tried has deep flavor and generous portions. Staff are super nice, but the actual restaurant environment, while not bad by any means, does not match the excellence leaving their kitchen. I tend to just take out and eat at home, but either way its going to be a an amazing spot with lots of variety, great staff, low wait times, and of course incredible food.

They crush good thai food, most of the staff are welcoming and amazing. However, I ordered a ginger-lemonade to go - super tasty - when I asked for the check, and while I was paying they mistakenly threw out the drink. I believe this is an isolated event, I recommend Tiny Thai to travelers all the time, and that white haired guy at the counter should have done that differently.

Dietary restrictions: There are vegan / gluten free options for everything but entrees - apparently no substitutions are possible, unless you just want to get white rice and steamed veggies.

My favorite restaurant in Chittenden County! The kai luk koey is delicious. Its the only place worth getting pad Thai or green curry. The desserts are excellent too! Ive been going to this place as an occasional treat for seven years now, and it never disappoints.

Great food, nice people. Lately, the wait has been atrocious. One Pad Thai took 1 hour and 20 minutes. Other than that, great restaurant!! Usually faster service if you re dining in rather than take out.

Loved the experience. We went around 5pm. I was shocked with how fast they brought the food out despite having a mountain of takeout orders to get through. We were in and out after 30 minutes. The service was very friendly. It feels very comfortable, like you re eating at a friend s home. I recommend the Khanom Jeeb- don t worry, they ll help you pronounce it! The pad thai was a little sweet for my taste but some soy sauce helped. Ingredients were fresh. Would recommend to anyone- I wouldn t wish for even my worst enemy to miss out on eating at Tiny Thai!

I had the crispy duck krapow and my wife had the drunken noodles. Also had the chicken satay to start, which was fine, nothing amazing. Nice heat on the duck, not for the faint of heart. BYOB so bring what you like. Finished off the night with some delicious Thai iced coffee. Parking: Minimal parking out front but sidestreet parking is available.

Such a great dining experience! Food was delicious with thoughtful care being poured into the rice and noodles (perfectly cooked imo). The lemon ginger tea was . Speaking of fire - they have different spice levels clearly laid out to accommodate everyones different tolerances. (For people like me who cant even handle spicy bbq sauce). 10/10 wish I lived closer to frequent more often.

My first experience with Tiny Thai was about a year ago. Take out order bc their dining area was still closed due to COVID. I wasn t very impressed, to be honest. Food didn t look or taste much like real Thai food (I ve been to Thailand). They re now open for dine in We decided to give it another shot. Parking situation is a little difficult since they only have a few spots and they fill pretty quickly. We were NOT disappointed this time Servers were friendly and efficient, food was very good and prices were decent. We ll certainly be back!

The pad thai was good, but the serving size was small. If youre only ordering takeout, other Thai restaurants in Greater Burlington will offer better value for your money. I would only recommend Tiny Thai if you are dining in, because the place is big and the atmosphere is lovely.

Always very good. The best Thai in the area. Maybe not as good as some restaurants in NY, but for Burlington it s amazing. While I was sad when this place moved to their new location, they really took it as an opportunity to transform from a quaint restaurant to a large, consistent operation easily able to manage 50+ to go orders and dine-in guests on a Saturday night. Very fair prices.

I m happy for this business that they are experiencing tremendous success, however the food quality has significantly slipped. We use to order extra, specifically so we could have leftovers, but we didn t even bother keeping the extras last time we visited.

I had their Pad Thai and was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful it was. Ive had this dish in different cities in different countries but this one was definitely one of the best ones Ive had. The spring rolls were also good with the sauce. Staff was knowledgeable and kind. The packaging of my takeout order was thoughtful and done with care.

This small place tucked away in a little mall seats about 18-20? people. I had to go to the rest room thru the kitchen area. Ive never seen a kitchen as clean as this one! All fresh food. Everything was everything was so good. THAI FOOD IS NOT HOT! It can be if you like it hot but even if its supposed to be hot, you can ask for it not to be.

They use fish sauces/paste in most of the dishes so if you are vegetarian make sure to choose from the vegan menu. The resturant was extremely busy and the wait time was ~ 45 minutes. The spring rolls were okay but not the best. The main dish was good but definitely a little on the expensive side for the quality.

Consistently good food. The new location has lots of parking which is much more convenient than the previous location. I love that things are marked gluten free. I love spicy food and get extra spicy most places, but two star spice is plenty spicy for me on the Pad Thai.
