Beit Beirut in Woking

We went out for a team lunch this afternoon to this lovely restaurant. We were a bit unsure about what to eat, but the staff were incredibly helpful. They suggested a platter of mezze, both hot and cold dishes and also the mains platter giving us a chance to try a variety of items from the menu. Everything was absolutely delicious! The service was outstanding, with courteous and attentive staff. To top it all, the baklavas were amazing too. Highly recommend this place for the excellent food and service. Would definitely be back!

Stopped in here for lunch, have to say I was disappointed. Having eaten at many Lebanese restaurants (one of my favourite meals out) seeing a high rating i have great expectations. However sadly it was not worthy of the rating. Way too much Cinnamon poured over the rice and inside the kebabs. Very strange taste. Lamb Kofta kebab had a very strange taste with so much Cinnamon spice added. The Sujuk sausage was a real let down. 3/4 tiny tiny bits inside a pot of tomato sauce and peppers. Not how Sujuk is usually presented. Flavour of the sausage was weak and the salty sauce overpowering it. I sadly wont return as i have eaten as massively better restaurants. Very over priced for the quality of food provided.

My husband and I had the vegan tasting platter which they also made gluten free for me. It was absolutely delicious, especially the hummus and the dolmades! Even the homemade lemonade was the most delicious drink I have ever tasted.. The staff are very sweet and attentive and there is a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend Dietary restrictions: Plenty of gluten free options and loads of delicious vegan or veggie options

I had a wonderful experience at Beit Beirut Restaurant with my family. The service was excellent, particularly from the friendly staff, especially Daniel. The meal was fabulous, with plenty of delicious options. I especially enjoyed the Shish Taouk and Lahem Meshwi, with the chicken and lamb grilled over charcoal. The appetizers Meza, were also outstanding. They easily deserve a 5-star rating and are my top choice for restaurants in Woking.

Great service .Our waitress was friendly and very helpful. Delicious food, with fresh ingredients. And an atmosphere that will make you feel like youre in Beirut. Starters - Hummus Pine Nuts & freshly baked Lebanese bread Mains - Mixed grill and Shish Taouk were great mains Sides - Phoencian fries and Lebanese Vermicelli Rice are a must!

Food was delicious but the drinks were outrageously overpriced and it left a sour taste in our mouths. £3.95 for a can of 7up which was price marked at 75p! Is that even legal? £7 for a small bottle of beer come on guys We ordered a vodka, but they don t tell you that the house vodka is Grey Goose!! So it cost £10 for a single plus £3.95 for the Diet Coke!!! So £14 for a vodka and coke?! Why don t you have a standard house vodka? Seems apparent you like ripping people off by charging £14! We were also charged £3.95 for mixer in every drink when they were clearly not using a whole can each time. 1 can would easily make 2 drinks. This is Woking not central London stop mugging people off. Won t be returning.

I visited beit Beirut this evening I must say the food and the service was excellent first class, the atmosphere also brilliant very relaxed, I definitely recommend this great restaurant

Booked a table for 13 people. Upon arrival, Mody was was brilliant and patient. Great recommendations and explanations of the various dishes. Food and drink was prepped and spread around. Very well balanced service considering we have taster menus and individual meals. Helped cater for a toddler too! Brilliant food, great quality and big portions. Worth every penny! We went for my brothers birthday. The food and customer service was amazing. There was 6 of us, we ordered 3 taster menus and the food just wouldnt stop. It was really fresh, you could taste each individual flavour, we really enjoyed our visit here and will be back. Vegetarian options: A large variety of vege options that taste really good. Parking: Two parking spaces at the back but call the restaurant to book them.

My wife is a celiac and its difficult to trust certain restaurants. Beit Beirut have been fantastic and explained to us exactly what she can and cant have. The service is impeccable and the sujuk one of the best Ive had. I think about going to back to this restaurant at least 3 times a week! Dietary restrictions: Great for gluten free.

I d give it six stars if I could. Monty and Dolly made me feel like I was having dinner at their home. The food was superb, the service equally so. The atmosphere made it perfect. I will definitely be back.

What a treat. The chef very kindly made me falafel and then aubergine, mince and rice, without peppers and chillies as I cant eat them, and they were delicious. We chose the sharing menus and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed everything. Ive never had Lebanese wine before, and that was delicious too. Thank you. We have just enjoyed the most wonderful evening at Beit Beirut. The food was fabulous , fresh, beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The service was first rate also. Wonderful attentive and caring staff which made for a warm a friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend and we are looking forward to returning to again soon. We booked a table for 20 of us for my wifes birthday. Ive never felt compelled to write a restaurant review before, so I hope this goes some way to convey how pleased we were that we had chosen this fantastic restaurant. The food, was FANTASTIC we all loved it! Really fresh and tasty Lebanese food. I would hightly recommend the taster menu (especially the Fattoush salad and the chicken in the mixed grill!!) Even the kids seem to love it!! Great service, lovely atmosphere, well definitely be back. Great value, great food, lovely service!!

Fairly priced, amazing food, brilliant service and a nice clean space... Maybe a little dark in places, but thats only for personal taste :) make sure you arrive hungry, portions are generous without being overboard! Eight of us, including a one-year old, a Vegetarian and a Coeliac booked last minute for Sunday lunch and couldnt have been better received. The food was delicious, the staff were attentive and friendly and we had a really lovely time. We will definitely be back! Vegetarian options: Lebanese food has lots of great vegetarian starters, but the mains are quite heavily meat based. Beit has several good vegetarian mains and we had a delicious aubergine stew. Dietary restrictions: Beit were able to cater for the gluten-free member of our party, providing gluten-free bread so she could enjoy the very delicious meze.

It was my first time in Beit Beirut, the interior vibe and aesthetics are lovely, arabic music playing. The service is top notch, they refilled out water a hundrend times. Muslim friendly in Ramadan, they gave us complimentary dates and appetizers to break out fast. Deema served us and she is great. The food is pricey and unfortunately not worth the price, it was just ok. Ive been to many lebanese restaurant in London and this one doesnt go on the scale. The mousakaa had whole garlic bulbs and basil in it, did not taste traditional. Tabbouleh had too much onions, hummus was delicious and so was stuffed vine leaves, chicken and kebab in mixed grill were cooked well but couldve been better spiced. Chicken shawerma is cut too thick and couldnt taste any spices on it. Kibbeh was delicious, cheese borek lovely as well as the falafel and the zaatar fatayer. All in all, I would go here again for the lovely service, nice seating but pick specific food.

Sadly disappointed. We were served water in wine glasses which is insulting as someone that doesn t drink alcohol. I ordered food which still didn t arrive even after an hour so we were about to leave. Strange that for the price of the mains, it doesn t include salad, rice or a small side. The waitress thought it was funny when we asked if the hummous came with bread. When this arrived the bread was hard and cold. Also, we were given nothing whilst waiting for ages. Don t think the meat was fresh and chips were undercooked and rice was cold. They gave us money off our bill but still charged us service charge and tried to make out like they did a reduction. Waitress was rude, food cold, wouldn t go back. I couldn t finish my food and I never not finish my food!

I ordered the roast lamb and it was the best lamb I ve had. We also ordered the mixed grill and some mezze plates and it was all so delicious. We also received multiple complimentary plates and drinks which was so generous. The service was incredible and we will be definitely returning! 100% recommend!

Nice atmosphere and decent food but look out for the waiter recommending you order more food than you need and a glass of local wine which turns out to be ten quid a pop!

Had a fantastic birthday dinner at Beit last night. With 11 of us it was suggested we went for one of the set menus and we loved it. Food was exceptional - theres no questions there! The major disappointment is the 12.5% VAT that they tag on to the end of your bill..seeing as thats not the rate of VAT at the moment, it appears to be a falsley labelled service charge (which they say is NOT included in the total). A substantial disappointment to an otherwise exceptional meal.

First but not the last time. Food was full of flavour and well presented. There was plenty items on my tasting menu some which were new to me. The house wine was fabulous with meal and the service was fantastic.

This is one of the most excellent restaurants in the zone. The mezzas are delicious, the service is excellent, the food is plenty and theyve always treated us very well. Its a staple on our weekends dinners or lunches.

What a great dining experience! My wife and I had the tasting menu (the one with meat, there are vegan and vegetarian options too) and my eyes nearly popped out of my head as the feast began and the multitude of dishes arrived. From cold to hot mezze followed by a short break and then a mixed grill of chicken and lamb. We will definitely be eating here again.

Weve been to Beit Beirut a number of times since it opened and the place is still going strong. The food is incredible (I honestly think the moutabal baba ghanouj could win an award) and the service is amazing. They are such a friendly bunch, they look after you so well and they take the time to run you through each of the dishes. Id recommend the Lebanese house wine too, its delicious. This restaurant is always worth a visit!

Good food, ok wine menu, its a good version of this type of food, which is Lebanese mezze. The restaurant is in an odd part of Woking and it could do with being more in the heart of town. Tables and surroundings inside felt a cheap. The service is friendly, possibly a little bit too fast paced for a relaxing meal. You get bread, dips, grilled meat and good veg dishes. I wanted to like it a bit more but I would return to give it another chance to live up to the 5 star reviews.

Technically the best Lebanese restaurant in terms of hospitality and quality of food. As a lebanese living in the UK I would recommend it for authentic taste that you wouldnt find only in Lebanon.

Come on down boys and girls, this place is sensational. I have just eaten like a king at his banquet. All vegetarian for me, biggest tasting menu platter that had the best halloumi I have tasted in the uk, served with a seriously filled basket of bread, and just as I gave in and asked for plate to be cleared the manager kindly brought out a small portion of perfectly cooked rice (mixed with vermicelli) and a oven cooked aubergine dish that tasted mouth watering sweet. I shall be sleeping well tonight, no space for a mint here, although manager did bring out mint tea and baclava

Went here for my birthday on Sunday lunch. Restaurant was empty but the service and food very good. Well cooked meat dish and a lovely taster dish with a variety of typical lebanese vegetarian lovely dishes.

Great food! Made with fresh ingredients and all traditional Lebanese food. We went as a group of 10 and everyone loved it. The coffee at the end is very much needed because you eat a lot and need some help to digest :)

We had a lovely meal at Beit Beirut two years ago and finally managed to return (we live in the north of England). The service we received from Daniel was just as amazing as the food and we definetly wont be leaving it another 2 years to return. Compliments to the kitchen team and Daniel for a lovely evening.

Great food backed up by superb service. We were served by Daniel, whose service was infallible. Everything from the zaatar topped bread to the charcoal grilled chicken was popping with flavour - pick a wine from their extensive selection, and youre bound to have a great evening. We were greeted with a very friendly waiter, he sat us very promptly. He suggested some great Lebanese wines and beers. We ordered our food (Beit tasting menu and vegetarian menu) and the food kept flowing. Every time a dish came out the waiter took time to explain what it all was to us. Very friendly, great portion sizes, and great flavours. Traditional Lebanese cuisine. I would highly recommend here and look forward to visiting again!

I ordered Mixed Grill and rice for takeaway collection. The portion size was small for the price, the meat was underseasoned and cooked unevenly; one piece of chicken was tough (tasted like it was cooked while still slightly frozen), some bits seemed undercooked. The rice was dry. I appreciate complimentary bread and a decent tub of houmous, but thats not what I ordered and I didnt like either. Its probably going to end up in waste. Id have preferred more meat for the price I paid.

Wow what a find! A random Monday night choice. Hospitality was second to none, very welcoming and warm. A cheeky few starters were thrown in and great lebanese wine, generous pours (they check if you are driving!) Food was excellent and great value. Would highly recommend!

Last month was my sons 18th and he wanted to try Beit Beirut based on there reviews and ratings. What can I say, for a party of 7, the food was excellant, kept coming from dish to dish - service was very good and they let us have a birthday cake with the final course of the set menu. Thanks to all of the team, food and service was great and we were all very pleasantly surprised of this little resturant in Woking.

We booked for 2 as the reviews showed fabulous food and staff. We chose 2 menus, one vegetarian and the plates just didnt stop coming. We couldnt believe how much food we were being served. We drank Lebanese wine and beer which were also excellent. While we still had plenty of food on the table, the friendly waitress brought more tasting plates and announced she would bring the main course in 15 minutes! We were amazed that there was more food to come. The restaurant is a real gem. The staff are genuinely warm and explained each dish as it was served. We loved the wine wall and the coloured lighting. Will definitely return to repeat the experience. We had to take away the baklava as we were simply too full. That was lovely too. Thank you.

This place is absolutely brilliant. The tasting menu is exceptional and everything on it tasted excellent. The waiter took time to explain each plate and the food just didnt stop coming.. if you do the tasting menu, make sure you dont fill up on the delicious bread as youll need to make room for last plate that comes out!

Absolutely superb quality food and service. A real authentic Lebanese set menu Mezza variety of hot and cold small platters/tapas style platters with tasty main grills and desserts. What is also impressive is the presence and interaction of the owner Dani and the knowledge of the well trained staff. And finally the great evening ambiance with a beautiful surrounding Lebanese and Arabian 1000 nights and nights music. Thank you Dani and the team we felt we were back in beautiful Beirut !

A fantastic experience from start to finish! The team at Beit Beirut made me feel welcome from the moment I walked through the door. Not only was the service fantastic but the food extremely tasty, really fresh, well cooked and made with care. If you are in the area then definitely check out this local gem. I was made to feel like I was in a home away from having beautiful Lebanese food served to my table! It was a real treat and I feel lucky that I stumbled across this first rate restaurant in Woking.

Absolutely fantastic and fresh! I booked for a party of 4 for my birthday. From start to finish the service was excellent. The individual manning the front of house (assume it was the owner) was such a friendly and accommodating person. We order a variety of food from the menu and it arrived to the table fairly quickly. All of it tasted brilliant and fresh. There was a lot of depth in the flavours and I have to admit it was some of the best Lebanese food that I ve eaten in the UK! Will 100% be visiting again!

Beit Beirut is a hidden gem in Woking. The restaurant is clean and tidy- but the food is really special. The olive oil is so good, the ingredients fresh, and the dishes so well seasoned. I had the best fattoush and baklava I have ever had. It was also so nice to feel the hospitality of the staff. A real treasure!

This is a great, great restaurant. The food was excellent (among the things we had, we particularly recommend the Farrouj Meshwi (marinated grilled baby chicken), which was very tender and tasty, and the clearly home-made hummus), the decor was beautiful, the restaurant was spotlessly clean, and the service was excellent. This is almost certainly the best restaurant in the middle of Woking, serving our favorite cuisine. We cant wait to try to the rest of the menu (including the tasting menus).

Tasting platter was an excellent selection of fine Lebanese dishes, complemented with a good white wine. Quality of service was as good as the food and portion sizes were generous. What we couldnt eat was happily packed up for layer. An all round fantastic evening out.

The food was the tastiest Lebanese food I ve had in ages. All the classics you d expect done to a really high standard. The wine was great, and the staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was lively without being too noisy to have a conversation. Great night out all round. Strongly recommended.

Never tried Lebanese food before, and it was great. We ordered a taster, the portions were small, but they came in large amounts, so we needed a doggy bag! Staff were friendly and we felt welcomed.

I went to Beit Beirut on a busy Friday evening; hospitality, food and wine were amazing. One of the waitresses, Mandy, was very friendly, cordial and attentive. I had very good experience there.

Just had the most delicious meal here for my husbands birthday. We are not from this area, but found this gorgeous restaurant and gave it a try. We are so pleasantly surprised. One of the loveliest meals Ive ever had,.. I cant congratulate the owners and staff enough.... Give it a try, you wont be disappointed...

Toolk my dad (aged, 93) to beit Beirut for lunch today. I had assumed hed had Eastern Mediterranean cuisine before. In all 93 years this was his first Lebanese food. He loved it hummus, olives, mixed grill. Wine and sweet meats for after. Our server, Mandy, was sweet, kind, attentive and helpful with suggestions. A very special occasion. Thank you Mandy. Phil. We will return!

Only people who season there meat with salt and pepper will enjoy this restaurant. The chicken and lamb had no taste what so ever. The hummus was like eating sand mixed with water and the lamb was so overcooked and dry, they probably starved it before it was served. The service was not so great either and IMMENSELY OVERPRICED!

Quiet when I was there but food is delicious!!

Brilliant restaurant

Ordered for delivery. Arrived cold but on time. Honestly everything tasted like old oil. Nobody had more than three bites. Really disappointing. I never really complain but this was so bad I felt I had to. Even my boyfriend who eats everything hated it enough to not eat it. Must have been a really bad day in the kitchen. Also some stuff was missing and the hummus definitely held the trophy for most inedible.

We had a positive experience when dining in (over a year ago) but standards seem to have slipped as we have been disappointed with the two takeaways we have ordered through Deliveroo during lockdown. The most recent order placed was for 2 mixed grills, one with garlic sauce and one without (as one of the customers has an intolerance), one fresh orange juice and one Amaza (authentic lebanese) beer which totalled £38 (excluding delivery fee, service fee and rider tip). On a positive note, the food arrived on time (though Deliveroo are partially responsible for that), the mixed grill tasted good, and we received 4 pieces of baklava at no extra cost which were also nice. However, both mixed grills arrived with garlic sauce (which also happened with the previous order), the orange juice did not taste fresh (had assumed fresh meant freshly squeezed but tasted from concentrate) and a San Miguel was delivered instead of an Amaza beer. The portion size was small for the price, and £7 is steep for the drinks that were delivered. Unfortunately I dont think we will order takeaway from Beit Beirut again but may give it another chance once restaurants re-open for sit down meals.

Very nice place, welcoming and with nice staff. The food is quite tasty and well prepared. I tried the vegetarian tasting menu, and all courses were satisfying. I definitely had a full belly at the end! The modern Lebanese music in the background (Mashrou Leila) adds a special touch. Well done.

Really lovely restaurant. Food was delicious, our waitress explained every dish to us & was the perfect balance between attentive & friendly and letting us enjoy our meal. Nice selection of Lebanese wines. Will definitely be back.

Had a meal there last night. Great service. Lovely wine, recommended by our server. The food was just fantastic. We ordered a variety of dishes to share and they also gave us a few complimentary dishes to try. All was lovely and all very fresh. Highly recommend.

Lovely but don t go if you re gluten free! Particularly if you re allergic - the manager was lovely but the rest of the staff really don t understand what it means to be gluten free. Ended up being served a vegan menu instead of a gluten free one - seriously!! It s a shame as could be lovely...

Had a fantastic meal with friends here before current lockdown. Very helpful and friendly staff. We all had the tasting menu which was amazing, and perfect for trying lots of different dishes - and the wine was fab too!
