First of all, I d like to apologize to Adam for not doing this review earlier I went for lunch at Moxie s with a friend of mine. Mary Adam gave us all the time that we needed to discuss what we need to discuss. He was very patient and understanding we didn t feel rushed. We didn t feel uncomfortable. We felt at home. Adam was very efficient as I am Gluten Free. I have celiac he was very informative and constantly asking me if I was allergic to anything else and read out the whole menu of what I was choosing of what was inside, so nothing would affect me. I wish every restaurant was like this it would make life so much easier as for celiac it is very difficult to go out and eat, but I wish they would make it easier. I was very comfortable after I ate, he made us laugh. I truly felt like I was at home. I would like to thank Moxies for hiring Adam and keep him because I might steal him. He is a very good server and a very good speaker extremely friendly thank you very much Adam

Loved the Spicy Mango Chicken and the no bake dark chocolate dessert! Service was excellent, food was excellent!

We had a large group of 12 with mixed ages. We sat in the Solarium which was beautiful. The kids right under the heaters felt hot but overall it was a good space. The Food was delicious and served well. Our waitress Denica was AMAZING!!! She was helpful, fast, considerate and just so on the ball. She would have things brought out even before we thought we needed it. Water, extra cutlery and napkins etc with kids. Thats the level of service everyone at restaurants should thrive for!! Thank you for making it a fun night with friends.

Came in on a dead thursday evening with a friend and the service was absolutely terrible. She said she would come back and left us for 25 mins. Without drinks, nor a food order taken. Ended up just walking out. Guests being seated after us already had orders taken by her and we were neglected. By time she returned and we ordered, we were told they didn t even have what we wanted in stock. Waste of time.

I asked for a Chicago sear on the steak and the waitress didn t know what I m saying I tried to explain she said yes yes and brought me regular steak . Also asked for kosher/ coarse salt and none was available - I don t think she even went to ask the kitchen. Felt like she didn t know the menu very well , was not cleaning off the table on time . Brought me to go containers without a bag so I had to ask for one. Poor service. The kids high chair didn t have the ties to secure the child.

Anthony DT was an amazing server, so kind and professional and attentive. Food and atmosphere were also great and we had the pleasure of meeting the lovely manager as well.

Their whipped feta thing is so good you need to try it. Other than that mlxoes has pretty good food. I found alot of the time its kinda slow though. This location wasnt too bad though. Staff are always very nice. Place is cozy and chill. Vegetarian options: Some fries, pastas and various things

Went in by chance with my adult daughter and I. We were not overly hungry, but got a light meal each. I had tuna poke bowl and my daughter had the chilli chicken lettuce leafs. Both dishes were excellent and would have again. We looked at the dessert menu and decided on Churro ice cream sandwich and salted caramel cheesecake. Can we say the ice cream sandwich was one of the best desserts we have ever eaten

Beautiful restaurant, great service and good food.

Food was great. If we could rate it up to 6 we would give it a 6. Kids pasta was a bit plain. The atmosphere and service were welcoming and fancy. The place looks nice. It is newly renovated. Mushroom steak was excellent.

Entire bar seating area was taken up by staff. Manager hung out with them most of the time I was there. Seemed like a poorly lead group of people. My server was disconnected, not in the game and disappeared frequently. Vegetable side was blah, and not seasoned. I ve eaten at many Moxies, this was by far the worst.

I went to Moxies last night with few friends for early dinner and was able take advantage of Happy hour menu. Service was good and so was food. We sat there for 5 hours and no one bothered us. Definitely will go back again. Gluten free cheese cake was amazing.

worst experience at this location in my whole life moxie visits, first of all this location need to hire more servers because seems very less people for big crowd first thing i have to wait and then saw no one is coming i have to call someone to send server i got my drinks which were served holding in hands not even in plate out of restaurant policy and order food so when my dinner came and i told server that i need new drink and she got my glass said ok and when i tasted my food first bit i was neither able to chew nor swallow because my pasta was cold how much was able i had because i was hungry and never received my drink but till i paid my bill and even has to call every server every time. worst place to go for food . manager offer me gift card i was not there for free food.

Ive been coming here for years and I would have to say its my fave for ambience, food, service. I love that they always answer the phone quickly, making take-out fast and easy. If I have ever had an issue with a meal, i.e. missed an ingredient in the salad, its always properly addressed. Compared to the similar style restaurants like Earls or Joeys, Moxies is my fave. However, the sangria is too sweet. Thats really the only suggestion I have! The new extension to the restaurant with the enclosed patio is incredible!

Where do I begin I recently came back after not visiting this location for a while and OH BOY. I was so shocked at the service. Our server Antony was beyond our expectations and just a delight! He was so funny and pleasant, and the most attentive server we ve had for a while. He kept us smiling with his jokes and laughing so hard to the point I almost choked! (He assured us that he was certified in the Heimleich maneuver ). If you come to this location, please be sure to take Anthony s dinner suggestions! The chicken Alfredo in a Wrap was so tender and oozing with flavour! Ugh and that mini sticky for dessert was just finished us off so good! The flourless cake however . Well, safe to say I m not sure why they decided to remove the flour in the first place If only he worked here everyday, I d be giving my every last dollar to Moxies!! Cheers

Had the absolute pleasure of having a young girl by the name of Emiga G as our server last night. It isnt often you get such fantastic service like this anymore. She was attentive, thoughtful and kind (even though another customer was giving her a hard time for something out of her control). I will definately go back to this Moxies and hope to have her as my server again! Definately 5 STAR SERVICE!

We were in the area for a photo shoot for our dog and we got hungry and called to see if moxies would take us and they did ! Our server Amanda was amazing I feel they went above and beyond everyone was so friendly the food was also 10/10 we even managed to get a steak for our dog ! Thank you guys !!

Stood at the front waited for someone to greet and seat us. Wait staff walked by with no acknowledgement. After 10 we left and walked across the street to Jack Astor s and was seated immediately. Terrible service.

Ive not been to this Moxies location in a while, but I was in the area so I stopped by for lunch. So glad I did. The new renovations / decor are stunning, the food was amazing as usual, but the best part... was my awesome server, Sabrina. She was incredibly sweet, attentive and even though she was busy, she made me feel important and looked after. Her smile is welcoming and beautiful, her attitude is energetic and positive and her service is impeccable. Well done Sabrina....and well done Moxies Vaughan Colossus!

I recently had a wonderful dining experience at VaughanMoxies. The food was absolutely delicious and prepared to perfection. Service was extremely slow, waited 20 mins for a waitress to take our order. Food came out fast but was extremely salty. She never came back and asked how our food was, so again waited another 20 mins to order dessert.

Both times I visited this week were terrific from the standpoint of service, food, and courtesy of the staff. My colleague and I ate at a table one night and I sat alone at the bar the second visit. Vanessa welcome us both times and was amazing as a server and equally fantastic as a bartender. The Thai noodle soup, the blackened mahi, and the chimichurri steak salad were all delicious, and the cocktails (martini and gimlet) were well executed. They also have a good selection of beers, and can find one youll like.

I had an outstanding experience at Moxies, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Mike. From the moment we arrived, Mike was incredibly professional, accommodating, and friendly. His attention to detail and efficient service truly made our dining experience memorable. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, promptly addressing all our needs with the utmost professionalism. It s rare to encounter someone so dedicated and genuinely invested in making sure everything runs smoothly. I enjoy eating at Moxies and have been for years! Vegetarian options: On the menu, they do offer vegetarian options. Its always best to ask your server questions. Dietary restrictions: I have 2 friends who have an allergy to shellfish. When a server asks, they will always let you know depending on what you are ordering, how its made, and what they use. Parking: There are a lot of spots as its in area with another restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking is close to the restaurant.

We visited moxies during our visit to Canada coming from the states, and I must say the atmosphere was awesome,the food was great and the staff, they were just a breath of fresh air. Good service, somewhat reliable. Nothing revolutionary or groundbreaking. Prices have definitely gone up (as they have everywhere) but I feel like the portion sizes are fair.

We came in yesterday (Sept 11) at 10:51pm. The host told us the kitchen is closed and we couldnt even get drinks. I have no idea why the store has it advertised that it is open till 12am. Never have I heard of a last call more than an hour before close. Wont recommend driving out of your way to this location.

First time in Toronto and was recommended to this restaurant. I and my family of 6 was not disappointed, the food was great and so was the service. Our server Chole was awesome, she made us laugh and share some experiences with us. We will definitely be revisiting.

Ordered the thai chicken salad to go, completely UNACCEPTABLE presentation & satisfaction for takeout through uber eats, it s as if they through a bunch of dry lettuce into a box with majority of the ingredients missing, 4 dinky little pieces of chicken, maybe half of a half of an avacado IF even that, NO salad dressing AT ALL,not on the salad nor on the side just dry lettuce! you would think a place like moxies would have the decency to care for outgoing orders, I m so disappointed to have spent $30 for lettuce in a box, just ended up throwing the whole thing in the garbage, waste of money! Staff must be lazy and think nobody is going to say anything because it s take out so disappointing!

Went to this location for a team lunch during the week. We greatly enjoyed the nachos and lettuce chicken wrap appetizers. Unfortunately, I did not like the vindaloo main I ordered but the rest of the table seemed pleased with their food.

Me and a friend spontaneously decided to come to Moxies on a Tuesday night. We had the pleasure of having Julia as our server. From the moment we sat down, her warm and welcoming demeanour made us feel right at home. Julia was attentive without being intrusive, expertly balancing the needs of our table with her other responsibilities. Her menu knowledge was impressive she offered thoughtful recommendations that perfectly matched our tastes. Every time we needed anything, she was quick to respond, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a wonderful meal. What truly stood out was Julias genuine passion for her job. She took the time to check in with us throughout the evening, making us feel valued as guests. Her positive energy and professionalism truly elevated our dining experience. Overall, Julia exemplifies outstanding service, and I cant recommend her highly enough. If youre lucky enough to have her as your server, youre in for a treat!

Rotating IPA does not exist. Lol. Also all appetizers are deep fried. That said the chimichurri steak salad is great. Nic was a great host.

While it arrived with a visually pleasing presentation, the quality left much to be desired. The texture was inconsistent, and it lacked the richness and depth of flavor one would expect at this price point. It s a shame because the rest of the menu holds promise, and with such a strong focus on service and setting, you d hope the food would follow suit. Overall, Moxies Vaughan excels in ambiance and service but falls short when it comes to delivering on key menu items like the steak. There s potential here, but I d suggest exploring other dishes that better align with the restaurant s otherwise polished experience.

It was my very first time at this location. The place was very clean, good ambiance and I enjoyed the food. The best part was the service from Adam A. He is a very delightful and knowledgeable server. I thoroughly enjoyed all the food/drink which he recommended.

I went to dinner with my friend yesterday after watching a movie at cineplex. I ordered the prawn laksa curry and not only did it arrive cold, it tasted like it was going bad. I tasted the curry twice before I asked my friend to taste it and she said the same thing after tasting. That it was tasting like it was going bad. Then my friend had mentioned that there was a weird and pungent smell coming from the laksa curry when they brought it to the table as well. I have ordered this dish before from this location and I enjoyed it. But this time everything was off. Our waiter was amazing. He was so nice about me sending the food back and gave me another moment to order something else off the menu. After the food was sent back, I think a manger came up to me to validate me that the food is checked multiple times in a day. And that s it. She didn t offer any sort of compensation or anything for the inconvenience. When she had passed by again a couple of times to check with the other tables, she was avoiding eye contact with my friend and I. I found that really odd. I m really disappointed in their service as a whole. I was really excited for the laksa curry as well. Those two taste bites made my stomach upset too. And I wasn t able to finish my food that came after. Again our waiter was amazing.

The service was excellent, everything was on time.

My sister got severely ill after eating a meal that we were assured was prepared separately since she is celiac. We asked several times if she would be safe to eat as we would have went elsewhere, but were assured. Terrible that were not honest or careful!

Had a great dinner on the patio with lots of new options to try with food and drinks. the new summer menu is realy awsome the salmon burger and summer salad is amazing. The churo ice cream sandwich was good and was large enought to share between 2 people. The waitress was realy nice, patient, and knowledgeable. Parking: lots of parking spaces located in a big plaza Kid-friendliness: has a kids menu Wheelchair accessibility: mobility device accessible parking, entrance, and seating.

I went to this location for the first time for my birthday with my fiancé and his family and Fatima was our server. Fatima was very kind and patient with our group. We had some specific questions about the white chocolate brownie on the dessert menu and although she didn t know the answer off the top of her head she was able to find out the answer for us very promptly. Because of Fatima s service, we will be back!

I always enjoy going to Moxies for business meetings! Especially Moxies Vaughan. Today I took my husband for his birthday who has never been to a Moxies. We had an awesome time. My business partner and I entertained an important client at lunch yesterday. We were seated in the restaurant and served by Nick, an experienced server and a new team member, Al (Alex) who was just starting her Moxies adventure. Nick et. Al. as I called them did a great job. They were very highly engaging and attentive. The food was as reliably tasty as always - but the service was quite exceptional - especially as they teased us back as energetically as we teased them. Nick is a pro and Al will be a star for years to come, Im sure.

August 27th, 2018 We have made beautiful memories in this location, throughout the years. There are couple of my favourite dishes they no longer serve, but I cant complain since they have plenty of other delicious options.

Im from Orangeville, and I must say Ive been here twice, and the food is AMAZING. I forget (sadly) the name of my pasta dish, but it was made with chicken, and a creamy wine sauce,and came with a nice big slice of garlic toast. SO good!! I loved it so much, that yes, I will order it only next time as well. My friend had a dish, which I also forget the name of, and it was like French toast slices with goat cheese, roasted tomatoes and garlic ...she put a bit on each slice and let me try one. WOW! So flavourful! I wish we had a Moxies.

Ordered takeout. Drove to pick it up. Came home only to find out it was made wrong. Called and had the issue fixed with in a few seconds of the phone call. Yes it was a bit of an inconvenience of having to drive twice but got to hand it to them for solving the issue and being so professional about it. It s small acts like this that makes us, the customers want to go back even if we had a small inconvenience. I know many other places who would have argued back or not have been so professional about a matter like this. Thanks Moxies!!

We loved our experience at Moxie ! The food was great and our server Kevin was excellent! Kevin made our night with his friendly attitude and made sure all was good at our table . He checked in on us several times and was so courteous! Our night ended with a birthday dessert which was delicious ! 10/10 experience thanks to good food and the great service from Kevin ! Always a pleasure visiting this location! Our sever Martina was soo kind and very attentive to us! Our food came out very quick and the supervisor (I think kesim was her name) was very accommodating when our meal was missing taro chips. The girls, the service, and the atmosphere is incredible, definitely will be back again

This was the best customer service I have ever experienced in a Moxies. When I ordered Chicken Alfredo, she gave me the option to even have it extra spicy, which I loved. JoAnn went over and beyond, she made our evening very pleasant. Thank you for the amazing experience. I would certainly recommend this location to all loved ones!!

I was just there and ended up going next door to Earls. Hostess desk was empty, waited more than 10 minutes ( I was watching the time) with servers passing by and ignoring my partner and I. A very stuck up atmosphere. I finally went in by the kitchen and stopped a red headed waitress and asked if someone could help me. She said someones gonna be there in a minute and walked away without helping further. I just walked out after that. VERY RUDE AND STUCK UP SERVERS.

I been to the Moxies in this location a couple of times. Last time I came here we got the nachos and they were amazing. I came here again on Friday and we got the sweet potato fries and nachos and the nachos it was so disappointing The sweet potato fries were really good but the nachos was so bad, it only had a few pieces of meat and the cheese and everything was on top. Once you ate the top part the only thing you had left was the chips, nothing else. I bought this up to the waitress and she said that a lot of people tell her that and it depends on the chef that is there that day. If that chef isn t that good then why do they still keep him? Speaking about the waitress she only came by 3 times. Very bad service, we felt like she forgot about us. The drinks were okay as well they felt water down. Very disappointing not planning to come back .

The only way to add another review is to edit an existing one. Wanted to share that our server, FrancescaP, was great. Just as was our last server (LaurenD), she was pleasant, friendly and attentive. She came around several times to ask how we were doing and if we needed anything. Her presence was appreciated. I love this location and the bar side of the restaurant. Great atmosphere. The food always tastes great. The beyond meat burger and fries were delicious. Thank you! Dietary restrictions: Vegans have some great options.

Honestly I ve been here twice and the food is always on point. I often send my steak (medium rare) back to the kitchen at other places but here it s always cooked to perfection. Big kudos to the chefs back in the kitchen! Even their new Salmon burger with their super green salad was good too! This place overall is a vibe! Highly recommended! I will definitely be back soon with more friends!
