I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the wonderful dining experience I had at your restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. The flavors were rich and authentic, and every bite was a delight. The portion sizes were generous, and I was impressed with the attention to detail in the presentation of each dish. Additionally, the service was fantastic. Our server was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Did not eat at the restaurant so my review is not based on the food. I parked at the store beside and the owner of Gianni’s came out and very rudely told us to park elsewhere. Started yelling and using profane language and I had my children with me. Completely unnecessary, especially given that I did not park in front of the restaurant nor do I believe that putting a piece of paper on your store window gives you the right to restrict parking. He ended up telling me he was going to f——ing tow my car. Never going to this place and will be contacting someone to see if this restaurant has a right to do this.
The fried calamari was so good - clean and light but still flavourful with the lemon. The owners were extremely friendly and gave good recommendations, and we had a nice conversation with them. I look forward to trying their pizza next time!
This place is truly amazing, the owner was soo nice and explained all the dishes and recommended based on what we were looking for. We went with a party of 6 and ordered the family meal, the calamari, meat platter, veggies, and pasta was really delicious. The portion sizes were a lot and the prices were really fair, will definitely be going back!
Amazing food, great hospitality, I had my son’s confirmation never felt so at ease throwing a party, the staff was so easy going. Recommend it for parties or a simple dinner for the family.

Owner is very rude and will start swearing at anyone who parks near the restaurant if you re not going to his restaurant. You don t own the parking lot buddy.

Its a shame that there are only 5 stars to be awarded! I would have given at least 10. The discovery of this trattoria, Italian cuisine, was completely accidental. It was Victorias Day and with my colleagues, with whom I was in Canada for work, we looked for a place to have dinner that was near the hotel. What can I say? The food was exquisite, Gianni, the owner, affable, sociable, kind-hearted. The place had a welcoming, warm atmosphere: you could feel the atmosphere of home. A friendship was established that will surely continue. I took a dive into my familys past, listening, moved, to the story of the vicissitudes of this man who did not surrender to the hostilities of life but stubbornly always got back up and rolled up his sleeves. A great example to follow. I will return without a doubt, because, when you are away from home and are looking for familiarity, hospitality, friendliness and good food, this is undoubtedly the right place. My friends and I stumbled on this place and had an amazing meal. The gnocchi with vodka sauce was 10/10 and the service was 12/10 as John made us feel welcome and chatted with us. Definitely will go back
The best authentic Italian food that I have ever eaten. Friendly and family oriented atmosphere. Excellent service. I highly recommend Gianniis to anyone that loves good food.

Horrible food and service!! Had to wait for water for a long time and service person was very argumentative upon questions or to ask anything about the menu. Don t waste ur money here!! Parking: Awful parking and the old guy won t let u park there even though u r their customer!!
Great food. I ve never liked ricotta ravioli until I tried it from here. So soft and flavourful. Can t wait until we can dine in at restaurants again. Crab and shrimp great, not over cooked at all. Lamb great as well, great medium rare.
We just picked up and enjoyed a lovely Valentines Day dinner prepared by Gianni ... so delicious, and very generous portions - great value - even included a beautiful rose!

Honestly Truly Authentic Italian Restaurant, put a sofa in the place and I am at home !!! We had dinner last night , and the food was fantastic !! Service was the same!! Wow!!!!! We went here on Friday night for a fixed seafood menu, the food was all cooked to perfection, the service was incredible. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, you will not be disappointed. Great job Gianni , Dino and Silvana we will be back!!

Excellent low key Italian fair. But its all as good as the photos. I can say the food food here is as good as any casual place in Woodbridge. Loved the pasta and pizza here. The owner is amazing and comes by to make sure you are happy. I hope people come and enjoy the good food.

I totally disagree with what the customers are saying as I have eaten at Giannis trattoria and the food is NOT satisfying had better elsewhere . Also Gianni the owner is very very rude and unprofessional with employees and customers hanging up the phone on them and always belittling his workers being one of them . I rather go eat at Mac Donald s then eat at his place. But I truly truly reccomend Gran Gusto Ristorante a very very reputable and well know reputable family restaurant on highway 7 & weston. If u ever decide to have a party at Giannis make sure that u have a signed paper with what ur getting and paying for otherwise I ll end up getting a surprise at the end. Very dishonest man and owner

Gianni and his team did everything to ensure that my wife who is very limited with what she can eat was accommodated with her needs. We have found another favourite restaurant! A real Italian trattoria, simple and tasty food, generous portions. The owner Gianni is from Abruzzo, he is a very kind person and will makes you feel like in Italy.
