Pizza looks very good. Service was great. Had the Panzerotti and it was very oily, lots of liquid spewing out as I tried to eat it. Would not recommend as I could not finish it, perhaps stick to the pizza.

Pizza and wings were horrible. The pizza was not Naples style pizza more like frozen pizza style. The wings were not crispy or mesty, instead they were full of fatty skin with no actual meat very low quality. Also the spice level was way to spicy for non items that were not listed as hot or apicy on the menu. Called the restaurant and the owner didnt care at all

The Pizza isnt as good as the previous owners. The main problem is the dough. Its even noticeable when you look at previous photos vs recent ones. The crust used to be well done, raised, charred yet soft on the inside. Now, the crust doesnt rise, its not charred or well done and its like chewing rubber. 2.5* The photo here is from the previous owners Pizza.

Not what it once was. Gerry used to make the best pizza out there. Dough isn t the same. Doesn t rise and isn t cooked like it s supposed to. Hopefully they can pick things up in the coming years going forward

The service is good. Food definitely does not warrant the 4.8 starts especially at that price point. Each topping is a whopping $3!!!! Youre better off getting your pizza from Fortinos if youre looking for something quick. For pizza, there are much better options around Vaughan.

The new owner makes the exact same Pizza Jerry used to make. Smells Delicious and tastes great, worth the 1 hour drive to pick one up every Saturday.

Unfortunately, the previous owner sold his business Now they are still riding the huge fan base of the previous owner but not for long. This was my first time trying this place and it was one of the best pizzas I ever had. I was order 58. Update: found out today is the last day of operations, sad to see it close down, I found this hidden gem last year, wish I found it sooner, but happy for Gerry as he gets to retire and move back to Italy,, happy retirement !

Absolutely fantastic pizza! Fresh ingredients, light, and a perfect crunch in every bite. Unlike other places, its not salty or oily. I especially loved the tomato sauce. It had the perfect sweet and sour balance. Highly recommend Taste of Naples for a delightful pizza experience!

Short version: Im convinced this is the best pizza you can possibly get in the Toronto/GTA area. If youve never been you are doing yourself a great disservice. Long version: Gerry is extremely friendly and the food is out of this world. I first visited over a year and a half ago and having visited recently Im so glad nothing changed. This will sound ridiculous but the dough tastes amazing and the sauce must have came from the gods. 2022/2023 Update: After 3 years the pizza is still amazing. Its never gone down in quality. After spending some time in New York and New Jersey Id still rank this on top.

Im not sure I want more people to know how excellent this pizza is. But they deserve the kudos. Sauce, crust, fresh ingredients and baking quality are exceptional.

This place is a hidden gem. The sauce is so fresh and the dough is light and airy. So so good!

If you want simple, satisfying and delicious pizza, this is the place! I have ordered many times from this place, usually with cheese, mushrooms and pepperoni or cheese with olives. Their pizza is cooked to perfection, they use special flour for their crust and it s a nice flavor, they bake it super fluffy and nicely toasted. Sauce, cheese and other ingredients are well balance. Always satisfy after having their pizza. I will say, their pizzas beats many fancy gourmet pizza places. No need fancy toppings, just a simple pizza with quality ingredients and made with care. So good. :)

out of 168 hrs in a week you are open for a total of 34 hrs, no walk-ins, call only... seems like owner has no monetary dependency and guess what, if you make it hard on customer to taste your food, they just wont, there are a million other pizzerias in this city. run this business for yourself and your 41 family member/customers you have and dont let others bother you, be careful not to over work yourself either, you work too much.

This was actually my first visit to this place, I read the great reviews and gave it a try. It was Saturday at lunch time, and the man who took my order was by himself. He seemed a little stressed, but gave me an accurate time that my pizza would be ready. Like clock work, my number came up, we went in, grabbed the pizza and a couple drinks and left. The sauce tasted homemade and fresh, quality meats and cheese that were not greasy. The crust also tasted like it came from freshly made dough and tasted light but was hearty. Although on the pricey side, it was well worth it! I thoroughly enjoyed this true artisan pizza, and will definitely return for more! Highly recommended, truly one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted!

Amazing pizza

Fantastic experience today right from the get go. My daughter told the routine and we followed it. Everything from ordering to picking up and best of all, eating, was top notch. Hats off to the gentleman that runs the place.

My husband and I went here yesterday. We did take out . He said that the owner was extremely friendly and great customer service. Im from Chicago and super picky about my pizza here in Canada. This pizza was delicious. The sauce that they use is amazing and there is an ingredient I cant quite pinpoint that they use that made the pizza stand out, although Im not quite sure what it is It could just be higher quality flour or imported , or it can be a unique ingredient Im not sure ....whatever it is, .Ill definitely be ordering again!

I recently tried the Italian pizza at this GTA restaurant and it was the best Ive ever had! Although theres no indoor seating, you can order inside and then wait outside for your number to be called. The prices were also quite reasonable. I will definitely be visiting this place again in the future.

This pizza is so damn FACKING good it belongs on The Food Network. This is small Pizzeria located in nowhere land.... but its worth effort to get there. This is a hidden gem amongst hundreds of subpar pizza places in Vaughan. We called and ordered for lunch and went for pick up. Waited for our number and went it. Very unorthodox process but worth it trust me. The owner was a very cool guy. We ordered the 16 slice square and was so good we polished it in one sitting. If youre in town, check this place out its right off Rutherford Rd close to the 400 in a strip mall at the back. Well definitely be back to order again. Thanks.

Arguably the best pizza Ive had in the GTA! The dough was outstanding - crispy, airy, and chewy. The sauce tasted fresh and well balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness. Really liked how the pizza was not too salty, which is hard to find in North America. A bit on the pricey side, but well worth it.

I never leave 1 star reviews, but Im very upset with my experience here. I came here with a friend because he had said it was the best pizza hes had in the area, and while the pizza was good, our experience was anything but. The owner was EXTREMELY unprofessional, barking at us from our car that our order was ready. This is not how you treat your customers, I will not be back. I highly recommend the owner putting in place an ACTUAL system for take out orders rather than screaming at your customers who were not told to come inside at a specific time. Very disappointed!

Google ratings brought me here. Very satisfied. Besides the dough was excellent, the ingredients were with high quality. No institutional taste usually found in pizza chains. They have a digital signage that tells you when you order is ready. We just have to wait comfortable in our vehicles; a nice touch during the pandemic lockdown.

My family and I found the pizza to have a touch of homemade sauce with their special spices. Like others, we noticed that the crust was light. and tasty. A delicious pizza made better by the great customer service demonstrated by the owner. He even came outside to let me know how much longer the wait was. Such a nice and cool guy. Looking forward to becoming a regular!

I had a craving for pizza so of course I went online to see what was considered the best pizza near Vaughan and Toronto area. With so many options, I was hoping the reviews were genuine, and hit the jackpot.... thanks to the other food fanatics. The owner was there and it was a half hour before closing, and I was lucky to watch and hear Jerry s creative ways with his art . Unique, creative, awesome and just WOW! Without a wood burning oven, he pulls off the unbelievable just like the best in Naples. Excellent fresh ingredients like the Italian pizza I ve had in Naples and Modena in Italy. Homemade sauce, premium cheese and the crust I can t even figure out. No frills, and a plain white pizza box with nothing printed on it. Next time I m in from Pennsylvania, I will be back. Btw your oven looks just like the Really old one at the classic place in New York that was my favorite pizza in North America. Who would of thought the best is in cold Canada!

During this Covid-19 pandemic they are accepting takeout and I could notice only one person working in the restaurant and he appeared to be the owner. Ever since I discovered this joint I stopped ordering from anywhere else. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. For a pizza it wasnt fatty or greasy it was fantastic, definitely feels like a healthier option to your typical brands. Been ordering it at least once a week for months now.

There are two kinds of people out there. Those who would go out of their way for a good slice of pizza and those who dont know any better! On the surface, Taste of Naples is your simple no-frills pizza place. 90% of the unit is the kitchen, with only a few tables for dine-in customers. There is a TV on the wall and the pizza options are written in florecent markers next to the cash register. This restaraunt doesnt try to be all thigns to all people. You wont find chicken wings, french fries or garlic bread on the menu. At Taste of Naples, they make pizza and panzerotti and they make both well. Gerri is the owner is a one-man show. He makes the pizza, takes the orders and serves the customers. When he has a moment, he will grab an acusic guitar and do a 30 second number of his own composition. He has a good singing voice and his music enjoyable. We ordered a three topping pizza with different toppigns on each half. The crust is exactlly what it needs to be. It is thin and soft with just a little bit of crisp around the edges. The ingredients are all fresh (including the oregano). We loved our experience and will gladly go out of our way for another slice.

Tucked into the back of a strip mall, in lush Toronto suburbia, I almost couldnt find this hidden gem. Its owner and pizza chef was affable and the pie was delicious. It was worth going slightly off the beaten path.

Great pizza. Great service. Pie had love in it, sauce from Gerrys mom, cheesed perfectly crust was crispy and thin and soft on the inside of the edges. Just delicious. Gerry said he gets a lot of business from pizza hunters and Im not surprised. Try this pie.

Simply the best pizza you can find in the GTA. Fresh and delicious ingredients paired with a perfect crust. Gerry is a master at his craft and an excellent musician as well.

Discovered this gem by chance, and drove by it twice in the strip mall where its located. Very unassuming, small and quaint place with HUGE authenticity. As I entered and realized it was one-man show, I had a strong feeling I would be impressed. I was, and so will you. Excellent quality ingredients, dough baked to perfection and super nice one man show guy. Highly recommended for the pizza nuts out there...

Wow what an amazing place. The owner Jerry is great to talk to and the pizza was delicious. Jerry even sung for us and was very captivating. The pizza has a unique dough blend and it has just the right bite to it. Would highly recommend

This pizza is so good that we came back twice in the same day. Agree with all of the excellent reviews below. Excellent homemade sauce, amazing crust, great quality cheese. Everything that makes an excellent pizza. The owner and his music are a pleasure to listen to. So sad we live an hour away.

Yes this is the best pizza of this style. Knocks taste out of the park. Go Here instead of the usual PizzaPizza or Pizza Nova.

Oh man......one word quality....from the crust to the sauce to the cheese everything came together beautifully. Crispy light crust. Cheese wasnt too greasy and the sauce was definitely home made. Overall great experience 100% coming back again and again. The owner was friendly and knew his pizza. The aroma kicked me right in the face when I walked in and thats how it should be.

Read all the reviews and decided to try it. Really good pizza.. the crust is an Amazing traditional homestyle not the neopolitain thin crust. When you pick up the slice it holds up!! Another couple was raving about the panzarotti. Will definitely go back to try it. Only downside no air-conditioning and the heat of the oven didnt help much...

Taste of Naples was recommended to me a couple of weeks ago and I have already been there twice! Amazing pizza and always a great experience with the owner Jerry.

I went there for the first time ! Too busy ! I asked for extra basil on my pizza ! Not only they forgot but also when they gave us the bill they charged us $4 for extra basil ! When l told the server he just apologized and my partner already paid ! After a month l was passing by there around 3 pm and it was quiet, l went in and told the owner he was extremely rude and was denying it and was saying that we don t do that !!

This pizza is the best in the whole world. The dough is supreme cheese and all ingredients are really good quality. The chef is passionate and an artist, you can tell from the first bite. We drive from Toronto and its worthy. Once you come and taste it, you will know what real Italian pizza is about, directly from the Naples.

Awesome Pizza... Never have i had a Pizza like this before in my life and im in my 50s. The tomato sauce is outta this world combined with the soft crunchy dough you cant beat this mans pizza...Forget the big box places and give the taste of Naples a try believe me you wont regret it...
