The impression that I had was that the foods were cooked by amateurs, who doesnt really know what goes well with what, not sure how to season, and just place the ingredients on the plate in an appealing way, but none of the flavors really go together. The meat is very often dry, tough, old, or thin, and probably not marinated or seasoned ahead of time. I went in expecting Asian Hong Kong style food, but what I got was low quality bland American flavored food, if that makes sense.

Went for dinner a couple of days ago and I m still thinking about the popcorn chicken rice! The customer service was absolutely terrible. I feel like the male waiter serving our table hated his job or something. We asked for a jug of water and the waiter gave us the jug of water from the table beside us that had just left. I proceeded to ask for a new one but he ignored my request??? Not only that , during my dining experience a cockroach crawled up my leg and I swatted it away immediately. I told the waiter and he stomped on it and whispered to his coworker to hide it from the customers. Did not give any formal apology or anything. Customer service was just horrendous. Wont be stepping foot into the flaming kitchen at Vaughn ever again.

Unique dishes with hot pans. They offer quite a selection for sizzling plates, or even customize your own. We tried the recommended super deluxe Teppanyaki rice and Truffle cream jumbo scallops spaghetti, both were well prepared and served right on temperature (as do all the sizzling plates). Ingredients were fresh too, just be aware that salmon and scallops could end up overcooked if not mixed immediately after being served. The Kimchi cheese fries were too salty for our taste that we didnt finish the plate, otherwise a good fusion between the two Definitely going for a second visit!

We ordered 5 dishes to share and one of the dishes had a hair in it. We told the server and he didn t even offer an apology and told us it s gonna take 15 minutes for another one so do we still want it or not. Food was mediocre and service was horrible. Will never come back

I had a fun time at this restaurant! There were a lot of unique dishes to choose from and they all looked delicious. My personal recommendations are the Spicy Mentaiko Beef Udon and Sizzling Spicy Rice Cake. The other dishes were good but needed more flavour, especially since one of them tasted like spicy ramen you can get at stores. The popcorn chicken tasted too fried and the dessert is very mango forward - good if you enjoy mango a lot. I would recommend to check this place out and give it a try.

Server was extremely rude, did not even look at me when i came in, found seat bymyself and had a very bad attitude overall. Left 0$ tip. He was extremely bothered by my presence. Food was still raw when the sizzling finished so not sure why they wouldn t partially cooke it beforehand

Good food- it s a hit or miss sometimes though. Pretty fast to serve and the portions are good. The overall service is not too welcoming. Majority of the time are lazy and will submit to requests but do the bare minimum. Not sure if they are tired but even when it opens and I ve ordered, they act the same way. The overall vibe from them makes me give such a low review.

During my visit here I was able to try a few things like the kimchi fries, super deluxe teppanyai rice, and the black curry pork rice as well. The overall taste of the food is not bad for the price but the dishes are all missing flavour. Even with all the different proteins and sauces added within the dishes it still felt like something was missing. Service is good, once your food is served the waiters will leave you alone but will assist you if you have any questions or concerns about the menu. Overall it s a nice place to go to if you re looking to try a new experience but if you re looking for something delicious you won t find it here.

Surprised to learn you had to finish cooking the food on a cast iron plate intended for keeping food warm or sizzling, not for final cooking. My shrimps did not cook properly and still a bit raw. I gave it 2 stars because I enjoyed the mango slush and food tasted OK but nothing special. I had Truffled Cream and Scallops with Spaghetti with add-on of shrimps.

Food came hot and fresh, and are reasonably priced. Portions for the beef dish we ordered were small. Yes the rice was enough but the beef definitely wasnt. There wasnt enough time to cook the other side of the beef from the hot plate even when we flipped it the moment it was placed on the table. The dish left my bf hungry at the end. You get what you pay for. Pork cutlet however was tasty and was enough to fill me up. Customer service was good. We came around lunch and it wasnt busy.

We got the flaming Japanese style fried chicken, flaming spicy chicken rice and cumin lamb rice. Loved our food. The flaming spicy chicken rice is not spicy at all. It has a hint of sweetness. Overall, loved our meal.

Been here twice, once for a meal and another for quick snacks. The snack items were quite appealing and shareable, my favourite was popcorn chicken and cheesy corn. The food comes in different varieties, from noodle dishes, noodle soup dishes, and rice dishes. These dishes can be customized, but the common selections are listed with colourful pictures as guide. Not every dish looks like the colourful pictures, though. My friend ordered super deluxe teppanyaki rice dish, but he commented that the picture had more meats than what was on the plate. There wasnt enough sauce on his rice, and extra sauce would have cost him extra. My curry pork cutlet udon was great, though, warm and comforting during a cold day. The pork was tender and complemented well with the curry broth. Cheesy flaming chicken noodle was also a solid choice, as it was warm and spicy enough to make you sweat. Value was mixed. My curry udon was a good value, but most of the snacks and the super deluxe teppanyaki rice felt overpriced for the portion size. I would recommend going with good friends and share the food around the table, so everyone could try different experiences together.

Weve been here 2 times, tried different dishes on each time and like it here. The atmosphere is fun. Service is good; the guys and gals are nice and helpful with explaining how things work and food choices. The food are great and tasty, which the kids love too. Those sizzling cast iron plates they use help keep the food warm/hot throughout the meal. My wife likes the noodles here b/c their sauce is creamy and flavourful. Well be back to try more stuff. The desserts look yummy but we havent tried. Always full after the meal already, but hopefully can manage to try next time . Kid-friendliness: My kids like the food. They finished their dishes which I thought they could not b/c the portions looked big.

I experienced a new food here today and the food in the hot pot wasnt bad. But its a place I never want to go back to. Among the staff working there, the glasses-wearing and large-built staff are very rude and unfriendly, and all the food and utensils. He brought it to the table like throwing a drink and did not answer any questions or additional orders. The owner here should know that the employee is the one who makes the restaurants image and food taste bad.

They try to be Pepper Lunch but of course you can t find the same taste here. The funny thing is Pepper Lunch s sauce is way better and you can have as much as you want while here you have to pay for extra sauce and it s not even close.

It s hard to pick between customizable DIY options & teppanyaki, but we settled on some popular picks: - Black Curry Pork Cutlet Rice ($15.99): crispy katsu accompanied by mild curry sauce - Super Deluxe Teppanyaki Rice ($19.99): shrimp, duck, beef, scallops, chicken, salmon - Sukiyaki Beef Soup Udon ($14.99): with sweet soy sauce & enoki mushroom - Sizzling Cheesy Corn ($5.99): sweet corn cheese pull is always a crowd-pleaser This was good but we wished sauce flavour was bolder. Even still, the dishes satisfied our appetite with plenty to-go too. This is certainly a hot spot for affordable Chinese food.

I dont know if the servers are new or not but they are really not good with customers. Whenever they are called for a question or service they always approach us with an attitude. These guys really look like they dont like working there. The food is great but the service is the worst.

We ordered Rose milk tea, Kimchi fries & Cheesy flaming spicy chicken noodles. The drink was good and no too sweet. Kimchi fries were flavourful. The best were the flaming spicy noodles. The food was good. I got the mushroom truffle udon and my daughters ordered flaming spicy chicken rice and the supreme beef rice. The downside was that the udon dish was lacking a bit of flavour but it was refreshing and light and for my daughter, her rice was too spicy so she took it to go and mixed it with plain rice later. Overall great place to try and enjoy at!

This is the worst and filthiest restaurant I have ever eaten in. I actually ate a cockroach. It was a cockroach. I really couldn t get over it for a long time. A few hours later, I feel uncomfortable just thinking about it. It s so disgusting.

We are the kind of customer who never tip on Card but instead we tip by cash so the tip will goes to the crew/server But the server in this place is unbelievable as soon as he see we skip the tip thing in the card machine he complain right why we didnt leave a tip. Didnt know tip is required now and its not by the customer satisfaction. We are a large family and we are Never coming back.

I used to love coming to this place years ago, but I went here earlier this week and was very disappointed that the food has noticeably gotten worse. The cheesy corn had almost raw milk (or some sort of dairy liquid) at the bottom, and the corn was not sweet at all. The mixed vegetables appetizer is extremely oily and bland. And the Tom yum sauce on the Tom yum rice used to be very flavourful and thick, I tastes more diluted now. Food is still decent but sucks that the quality has gotten worse, would love to see this place like it used to be.

Ive ordered from them consistently as there is a lack of Chinese food selection in Woodbridge. I find it ridiculous that theyve messed up my UberEats order 3x in a row consecutively. I always order their popcorn chicken rice but for 3x straight they delivered the popcorn chicken appetizer. The last two times they had to send their own worker to drop off the corrected order. Most recently, the worker only dropped off a box of fried rice?!?! Without any popcorn chicken?! Its absurd that we got our meal delayed significantly and then they cheaped out on making a brand new popcorn chicken rice meal and only gave us the rice. They keep apologizing and acting sorry but the order keeps on being messed up. Something needs to change with their ordering system. I will not be ordering from them any further.

Food was decent a little oily this time round, however the service was NOT good. The guy and the girl with the glasses working were rude and dismissive. The guy just dropped the menus and water and our order list on the table without telling us how to order or welcoming us. The girl with the glasses hardly explained the ordering process and she knew well enough that we were struggling to order cause we took so long and expressed confusion, however she just stood behind the cash and didn t offer to help. My group and I decided to ignore their unwelcoming and indifferent behaviour and enjoyed our time. However, when it came to the bill, we did not realize we had to tip at this Vaughan location specifically and once we paid our bill, the girl with the glasses called us out in front of the entire restaurant and asked why we didn t pay tip. The staff were constantly on their phones and did not help to explain the menu and just dropped off the food on the table and then they demanded we tip them at the end and gave attitude? The atmosphere and attitude of the staff did not give off any vibes for tipping at all. Unprofessional.

This place is infested with cockroaches. There was one crawling on the seat where we were seated. The way one of the staff handled it was clear pain rude. Felt like they didnt even care that happened. Dont need to say much, just read the other reviews on the service they provide. Take a look at the store itself if you drop by, so run down and filthy.

This was a new spot my family decided to try for dinner. The place was cozy, lively and clean! The server was nice and approachable. The prices were reasonable as the portions of the rice set entrees were quite large!! We only ordered one side dish- popcorn chicken to share, and it was savoury and crispy! I loved the sauce, it had a hint of spice! The rice was flavourful for all the rice set entrees that we ordered. The sauce and meat on each entree were portioned well. The pork cutlet meat was crispy and tasty, it tasted even better dipped in the popcorn chicken sauce. The meat for the Hamburg teriyaki sauce rice set was a bit on the drier side though, and the sauce didn t help. Would go again and order other side dishes and try out desserts!

From a cost perspective they seem to not have significantly increased there prices which I give them a lot of credit as many restaurants have not done so. Overall would recommend. This one of our to go resto if we dont have time to cook for the family due to work and school. The only thing is, it gets so so busy during weekends and need to wait atleast 20-30mins but weekdays its perfectly fine even though its a bit busy too. They dont have plates for kids but the big bowl works okay. For the food, We love everything we ate here, serving is big and it is not so pricey.

I frequent this place a lot when I need a quick bite. Food is tasty, quick service and pretty good value. They even have snack sized items of youre not that hungry. Highly recommend either the Flaming Chicken Spicy Noodles OR Beef Mentaiko Udon

The food was good but the service could do better. The staff wasnt at all attentive and they were just talking to each other at the front. They lacked a lot of energy and just seemed really tired to do anything. When we asked questions they sounded irritated. The As a staff they are the face of the restaurant so I wish they would improve their service or else its gonna have a bad impression on customers. Then when I asked for a bag the girl did not want to give me because she said she had already given me 2 containers. Its best to take the food home rather than not take it and for it to go to waste. I hope the service at this location improves in the future.

Food was surprisingly good. Very close to Vaughan Mills. It s an excellent choice and alternative to poor food court choices.

Been this place for more than 10 times, always order the same dishes because kids love this place, but just had worst service experience, cant believe the worker have such attitudes. This is my 10+ times visit and will be last time.

Been this place many times and all other visit were pretty good but last visit had bad experience with this place, Bad service, waiter had attitude issue, he dont not seems like to serve you and food quality also taste different than all other times, not sure whats wrong lately but for sure will never visit again, not recommend.

Order though Uber. Looks good on the picture. I understand that dine in is better than delivery but is terribly bad. They just cook all the stuffs and put them together. I don t need u to be exactly the same form the picture but I believe they can do better than that. Taste is not that good too. Such a disappointment.

Went here because the pictures looked really good. However, this was not the case with the actual food. The food was very bland and did not taste good. The quality was poor, unseasoned and not much effort was put into the making of the food.It also seemed like the food was not freshly made. The rice tasted like It had been there for a while and warmed up then served. PLEASE DO BETTER! Not worth the wait, not worth the price.

First time here. Ordered a dish noodle with duck breast. The noodle has a string taste, a bit too salty which I m ok once a while. But I found out after that the noodle with the taste were from the instant noodle package! This is totally out of my expectation from a restaurant!

I would never eat here again!! The food was disgusting.!! The corn wasn t fresh none of there food is fresh. They slapped a cheese (Kraft) single slice on the noodles to make it cheesy it s gross. The noodles looked like it was store bought. Never again worst East Asian food. Looks nothing like the photos!! Looks nothing like the photos on Uber eats!! Really nasty and I was so mad when I spend 65 dollars on this!! It looked like Ramon noodles!

The food was very yummy and the portions are very generous for their price. The time for the food to come out was kind of slow, but it was understandable due to the packed restaurant, and it was ultimately worth the wait! The staff also actively filled out the water jug when it depleted, which was a nice gesture!

The food tastes great! I love the Mentaiko Beef Udon. The Okonomiyaki Fries were nice and crunchy, and the orders for the other members of my group were delicious, too. The portions are a good size. It definitely fills the stomach. I recommend trying the Snowyland strawberry ice cream for dessert! It wasnt busy when we went there on Canada Day for lunch, and we didnt have to wait very long after we ordered our food - which we did online while sitting at the table. That was a nice option to have. We ordered: Sizzling Cheesy Rice Cake Sizzling Okonomiyaki Fries Spicy Mentaiko Beef Udon (with cheese) Tom Yum Chicken Noodle Curry Hamburg Steak Rice Set Black Curry Beef Udon Snowyland (strawberry ice cream) Durian Kingdom ice cream Parking: Its located in one of the plazas across from Vaughan Mills, so theres a parking lot. Kid-friendliness: While we were there, a big group came in and they had high chairs for the little ones. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, so it looks like a wheelchair could get through the door fine.

Absolutely amazing! I went with my friend and we got rice with the tom yum and herb cream sauce, and both were extremely delicious. I was surprised by how saucy and creamy the tom yum sauce was too, and it really helped to elevate their hot pan rice from other restaurants. Their waiters were so nice and on point with their jobs too, I even tipped them a little extra. 100%, maybe even 110% satisfied with my experience, and definitely making this my go-to spot for warm food!

Went here for the first time with friend and everyone had good impressions. The food were delicious and they are reasonably priced. It was so delicious that I returned back a week later. I love spicy so I got the flaming spicy chicken rice both time. I also had chance to try popcorn chicken, honey garlic beef rice and cream udon. Cant wait to return for the 3rd time!

ordered through uber and the presentation was really bad. the food wasnt that tasty and was packaged poorly. While eating, I found a hair in my food and noticed things in the soup I did not order. For example, there were crab pieces in the soup when the ingredients said it wasnt included. The portions were also very small compared to the pricing.

Actually the food and service all good but why i give 3star because they automeic charge 15% tip. I am not say the service bad. But they didnt even told tip. They already choose the tips. I never been to some restaurant help customer select. I dont know is restaurant made it or the serve did it.

Small but cute interior inside Flaming Kitchen Vaughan. Limited seating, but fine for parties of 2 or 4. I ordered the Black Curry Cheesy Beef Rice, and while it was cheesy and delicious- the meat/ protein portion is small in comparison. Still was an overall great meal!

I found this gem years ago in North York, and I am SO happy they opened one 20 minutes away from where I live now The tom yum sauce is to die for. I dream about it ever since I have it. Ive seen a lot of bad reviews, but they were all delivery!!! You need to go and have it SIZZLING hot..it is absolutely amazing. The staff is very friendly and nice, the food came out piping hot and FAST...maybe 5 minutes not even. My husband had no idea what to order being a vegetarian but enjoyed the DIY tom yum with veggies. Easily my fave restaurant Ive ever tried. I cannot wait to come back and have some tteokbokki and other delicious food from all over asia!!! I love you flaming kitchen!!!!! Vegetarian options: Tofu, tofu TOFUUUU, veggies, tons of appetizers! Maybe not vegan but still vegetarian friendly! Dietary restrictions: They will sub anything for you if you ask! Parking: Tons of parking in front! Dont do takeout, you need to have it FLAMING Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options and they are very good at recommending and following instructions for veg meals. Dietary restrictions: Tell them you have restrictions and they will accomodate. Parking: Tons of parking in a high traffic parking lot next to the mall. Busy, but still lots of parking! Kid-friendliness: We saw kids, they seemed to love their noodles. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible by wheelchair, ground level on sidewalk.

Came here for lunch with friends and ordered the spicy mentaiko beef udon, which is my favourite! Wish it was spicier but its still always delicious nevertheless. The service is lacking a bit since they dont come to check up on the table expect to take the order, drop off food and the bill.
