Best steak I ever had, life changing.

Amazing food, service, and environment. The manager Chris took such good care of us and really made our experience beyond memorable. Would give seven stars for service if I could :)

Good place

I recently went to chop Steakhouse and I got to tell you the food was really good. The atmosphere was great and the customer service was fantastic. I had a real pleasure being there and enjoyed every moment. I would recommend this location in Vaughn to all my friends and family members. Dietary restrictions: I personally had no dietary restrictions, but if there is somebody that does require the dietary modifications, I believe they can accommodate as best as possible.

Food, atmosphere and service are great!

I had my birthday dinner here. Reserved a table for 8 people for 7pm and when I made my reservation it said counter so it made me nervous that Id have my family and friends sitting at the bar counter or something. So I called in, telling them it was my birthday and I had family and friends not wanting to sit at the bar table. They assured me it was the heated patio that was very nice. I said thank you and hung up. 7pm rolls around, were excited and I arrive at the restaurant for my birthday dinner. We arrive and get a table meant for 6 people. Then they pull 2 chairs over. I ask, werent we supposed to have dinner at the patio? They said to me a law firm had bought out the patio and that this was the table they left for me. No one called to tell me, and I only learned of my table being switched when I arrived. So now were crowded around a table meant for 6 people. We order our food and it arrives 40 minutes later. I ordered a prime ribeye medium rare, new York strip medium rare, and two kids meals both medium. The steaks for my kids came out rare and the ribeye came out medium. Being already hungry I just swapped half of my steak for my kids steak. At the end of the night I pay my bill and not a single happy birthday. No birthday cake. Nothing. Before I leave the restaurant I ask the front if there is a birthday special or something for peoples birthdays. They said Yes. They get a cake. I tell them I made a note on my reservation it was my birthday, even called in and let them know. They say sorry and offer to give me cake. I said forget it, it was too late in the night my family is tired. This place really sucked the soul out of my birthday. I will never come back to this restaurant again. Theyll swap your reserved seats out from under you and treat you like a peasent because you didnt buy an entire section. I also think racism was a factor here because I was the only guy who was Asian in there and was not offered anything for my birthday while my friends noticed other tables full of white people getting their birthday cakes etc and thought it was so strange nothing happened for me. Shabby table, shabby food, shabby service.

Marissa was an amazing server! She was attentive and always ensured that my drink was full. Would definitely come back just to be served by her!! Thank you for an awesome night.

The food is great as is the service. Ive been here for lunch several times and have no complaints. The tuna appetizer is especially delicious. Its similar to sashimi. Parking gets busy sometimes but there is plenty so youll just have to walk a little further

This past sunday we celebrated a friends bday.. i ordered a burger and asked for egg in it.. Sunday evening i started with nasau, then bad stomach ache followed by vomiting.. i got food poisonined.. we paid a hefty bill of $170.00 just to get sick.. Please never drop your quality of food..ive been bed ridden since sunday evening and Doctor said it was food poision.. your restaurant was the only food i had that day..

Im writing from my husbands google account, as I have already written a rave review from my own account. Last week my girlfriends and I had the pleasure of being served by Yarah. She was sweet, pleasant and so knowledgeable re: the menu/suggestions. She went over and beyond to ensure we were happy with everything. The food was perfect as always and Yarah is such a joy to be around. Thank you Yarah for such great service!

The restaurant is currently undergoing renovations, but you d never know it they do an excellent job of keeping everything contained. The space is clean, and the staff are efficient and professional. They also have a great ability to read the table s vibe and adapt to the energy of the group. As for the food, it surpasses that of other steak restaurants by far! Our party of six ordered five different steak preparations, and not one person was disappointed. I highly recommend this venue for your next night out.

Really lovely place for a nice dining experience. The restaurant is beautiful inside and the service is always very kind. We mentioned to our server that it was our anniversary and they were so sweet to treat us with dessert. Food is always really well made and as a vegetarian there s a good amount of options at a steakhouse restaurant! Will definitely be coming again for special occasions!

Had a great dinner and time out with my family. Great place with great food and service. Nicole and Sarah made it better. Drinks were great as well. We had dinner here with a couple of friends, and the waitress was very kind and helpful with some of our restrictions. I had the prime rib and it was very good. The appetizers are also worth mentioning, especially the birria spring rolls and crab cakes. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

This place is a disaster, used to be good a few years back and just dropped like a rock to the bottom of the ocean. The steaks are cheap, full of hard tendons that are worst than the cheapest steaks you can buy in the store. Steak came in raw vs medium Beer glass smelled like a wet dirt towel, and my wife s drink had lipstick on the glass Honestly just skip this place and go to 90% of the other restaurants in the area, or better yet go to the Costco in the same plaza and purchase a much better steak there that can be done on a pan at home in 15 mins and will be 10 times better than this place.

Came here for my birthday with my family and Luca served us and we had the bestest time! Luca knew so much about the menu and was able to answer any questions we had. It was such a great experience!! Thank you so much!!

This place was amazing can t recommend it enough especially if you go for happy hour they have some great deals. The burgers were great and if you drink definitely get the chop mule. It was our first time visiting and they actually brought us a free garlic bread and cheese dip.

On thanksgiving day , why would u serve this, burned stake and microwaved veggies an I asked for medium rare for my stake!!!?

My husband and I went this evening for our 1st time. We celebrated his birthday. We were both super impressed with the atmosphere and service. Came here for my 30th birthday dinner with family. Not a great experience and very underwhelming. When booking the reservation I noted it was for my 30th birthday on open table. We also advised our server. One of our apps didn t come out until we asked a manager to follow up - we didn t get it until we got our mains. Mains were okay - the apps were much better. Our dessert at the end of the night was brought out by someone other than our server. While happy birthday was written on the plate, there was no candle or sparkler. The plate was just put down and nothing was said. When we asked if it came with a sparkler the server that brought it out said usually yes and took it back to the kitchen. He brought it back out without anything added and said they are out. Our actual server never addressed it and didn t apologize either. The only reason I cared about this was because we had my 2 year old son with us that we practiced singing happy birthday and blowing out a candle and we didn t get to do that with him, and 30 is usually a milestone birthday. The server did not check on our table as much as we re used to and we would wait quite a while for him to return - the fastest we were attended to was at the end when we were ready for the bill. I love Chop it s one of my favourite restaurants but we will not be coming back to the Vaughan location again.

The meal was AMAZING!!! My steak, an 11oz Centre Cut New York - cooked rare, was fantastic, and the golden mashed with house veggies were delicious!! Because it was our 1st time there the manager on duty brought out a sample appetizer of bred with a Bree & Honey dip that was sweet and savory, if I ever get the chance to go again I will be ordering that appetizer next time. The prices were a bit high but not outrageous considering the quality of food and the uptown atmosphere. All-in-all it was a excellent dining experience.

Alessia was the best server that I have ever had. She was very accommodating to me and my wife with our needs and made sure we had the best dining experience. I highly recommend coming here and asking to sit in her section. Will be back very soon.

Thanks to Ariele for making our first Chop experience a great one! The 2 plus hour drive was worth it! I really used to like Chop but all it takes is one bad experience to ruin it all. Was invited out to this location on Friday with my wife s boss and coworkers & spouses. Waiter seemed to not have a clue, server brought the wrong drink after a long time of waiting for the drink. The 1st round of apps seemed good. The entrees took a long time to come out and at 1st it was only 3 of us who received them. 5 -10 minutes later 2 more entrees came out and 5- 10 minutes after that, the rest came out. When I finally got to eat my presumably cold steak I cut into was not only cold, it was raw on the inside when I asked for medium rare. Was I going to take this back and wait another half hour or more for my food? No. Sadly, I sucked it up at ate anyway. Was still hungry as that overpriced and undercooked steak was smaller than a cheap steak you would find in a discount grocery store. Justifiably, your site suffered a major tip hit.

The atmosphere was great. The hostess working last night was wonderful. The food for the most part was really good. However, the service was really slow. It wasnt like the place was busy. It was fairly quiet for a restaurant, but it was very slow service and the server seemed to spend half the time talking to her coworkers.

Your experience here will depend on whether you place more importance on the food at a restaurant or the atmosphere/vibes. For me the vibes are just a bit more important than the food because Im not a picky eater and can find something I like on the menu. First, their menu isnt large but it does the job. Lots of options for seafood if youre not eating meat/eat halal etc. and also a few vegetarian/vegan options. Their appetizers are good, nothing to write home about. Portions are sized well. They have a dessert menu that they bring out once you finish your meal. They have a large & complex drink menu The actual atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice, the seats are super comfortable and the lighting/overall ambiance is great. Id come back here again also because they are open late. Our waitress was very attentive and checked up on us throughout our meal. Now, onto price. The prices here arent justified by the food you get. Its just not good enough to explain a $40 main on top of a $20 appetizer + tip + drinks. The salmon I ordered literally looked like something I could make at home for less than half the cost. It wasnt bad, it just doesnt make sense. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available but Id recommend other restaurants.

Started with the birria spring rolls, something new but something so tasty Had the smoked rib eye as the main, absolutely incredible. Not an overpowering flavor but you can definitely taste the difference. Enjoyed it with a baked potato as the side. Got it with only butter and it was amazing. Finished with the pineapple upside down cake this was literally the best way to end a fantastic meal Experienced all new flavors today. Definitely recommend

Chop steakhouse has the best steaks around. Michael our server was very helpful when choosing one of their cocktails. I recomend getting the whiskey smash, the best thing on the menu.

I went to Chop on Friday, and I Will definitely be coming back. The atmosphere was amazing and our server michael S was always around, checking up on us, making sure, we had anything and everything we needed. He even helped translate the menu in Spanish. I highly recomend chop and michael as a server.

This post is long overdue but had to leave this review. Took my mom for her birthday back in April. Greeted by Manager and staff who were all amazing. We were waited on by Isabella S who was very positive, professional and attentive. Made my moms birthday experience extra special and memorable with an amazing dessert tray, thank you! Highly recommend Chop to anyone for good vibes, awesome staff and great food.

Best spot for drinks & service in Woodbridge

I give this place a 3 but it is more like a 3.5 stars. Chop offers a nice ambiant steakhouse vibe alone with a modern look. The menu is diverse and accommodating but somehow is still a bit lacking because a lot isn t appealing. I ordered the miso glazed salmon and my friends orders steaks and a beyond meat burger. On the good side the food came out relatively quickly, warmed and presentable. The salmon was soft and sweet and could be cut with a spoon, the vegetables were grilled and the rice was plain. Although the salmon was delicious, the rice was pretty bland and was overcooked as some of the grains were exploded. The veggies were all alright but not particularly seasoned. The service was good and attentive. They answered questions and were helpful. They mentioned that Halal meat is available but must be ordered 2 days in advance which doesn t suit a plan as you go big mon such as myself. Overall I wasn t displeased by my dinner but I wasn t impressed either. I probably won t come back but If things change, primarily the menu becomes fully halal, I might be inclined to invest my time and money Also had a complimentary cake, that was pretty alright. It had this weird mint flavour. Some said it was good, I personally didn t care for it but the cake was appreciated.

Went for dinner. Service was 4/5 - not very attentive - lack of table check, and did not recognize that I was drinking water with lemon - just refilled glass, but no new lemon provided. Steak was perfect - Ribeye medium - cooked perfectly. Potato very big but - only had a tiny bit of sour cream- had to ask for more. Veggies were somewhat overcooked/burnt - but the meal was delicious. Restaurant very clean. Atmosphere very relaxed. Sat on patio, beautiful evening. Definitely will eat there again.

Amazing night at Chop Steakhouse! The service and food were great. We celebrated a birthday in the patio and had a great time. We all ordered steaks and they were cooked as asked. Good selections of wine available to choose from. Plenty of parking spots available.

Went for cocktails but they changed the way they smoke the cocktails from a machine to a cedar board. Not nearly as good as the previous method of serving in a smokey decanter.

Ironically, the steak was not the restaurants highlight, but overall,, we had an amazing experience.

Really excited to try this place as the reviews were excellent. We traveled an hour to get there. The atmosphere was really nice. They sat our large party outside on the enclosed patio. Our waitstaff was excellent and really accommodating. The food....huge...letdown. Big time. We were really upset. My mom ordered the crab linguine and to be honest..this was such an embaressing display. They sprinkle crab flakes on top. There was ZERO crab chunks. You could not even lift it with a fork. It was literal flakes. Like dry flakes you feed your let fish. We called the waiter over as we thought maybe they forgot to add the crab and he assured us that it was the flakes on top. This is literally horrendous at $35. I ordered the cod. It was dry and lacked flavor but the rice and the beets were really good. My sister in law ordered the halibut and that was equally dry and overcooked. My sister ordered the steak medium rare. It was actually cooked perfectly and the seasoning was really good, however it was so chewy that you couldnt actually eat it. There was 12 of us and so the service was actually really good. But the food was not worth the price, or the drive, and I definitely dont think we will be going back. It was a big disappointment as this was for a birthday and a graduation dinner.

The food is great and so is the service! We went for Fathers Day and my dads birthday and they made sure to make my dad feel special!

We went on Canada day for dinner and sat outside on their patio. Service was terrific and we really enjoyed our meal. In my opinion the steak was better here than The Keg and i found it more relaxing as well. I would definitely recommend this place and we shall be back.

Came here tonight with my dad and our server Estee was awesome. My dad has really bad Tourette s and she did an amazing job dealing with him and his rather inappropriate behaviour. She was patient and treated him like any other guest. She really made his night, he was super happy, and mentioned that he wanted to come back next week on the way home.

Came in tonight with my boyfriend after a long day of work. I ve never sat in the bar area before, what a treat. Estee was our server and she was fantastic. Great energy, beautiful smile, and a fun personality. She was knowledgeable about the drink menu, as she recommended the Pink Lemonade. It was everything I wanted & more!! Will definitely be back, and will ask for Estee from now on <3

The interior of this restaurant was beautiful. They have outdoor seating as well, and I m sure it was just as nice. The food was great. I had the top sirloin 7 ounce With shrimp And my partner had the crab linguine. My steak was slightly charred at the top But it was still quite tender and perfectly done. The mashed potatoes were delicious! I would come back just for that. We did have a corner seat in the lounge and it was by the window, so it was quite cold and our food also got cold quickly. We tried the dessert trio and I would recommend skipping out on the dessert because it was not the best.

First time at Chop and was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful atmosphere! Veronica did an excellent job taking care of myself and my friends, delivering pristine service with an upbeat demeanour. AN EXPERIENCE WORTHY OF 6 STARS! Fabulous! We were a party of 4 who had been here once before . While the service was 2nd to none, there were a few misses with the food at our last experience there. THIS TIME IT WAS AMAZING . Every thing was on point. We returned this 2nd time because of how the Manager, Chris, had handled our issues the last time we were there. Very impressive and professional. Definitely someone who understands what the hospitality business is all about. So we chose to go there, (last evening) to celebrate a 75th Birthday. DO NOT WAIT for a special occasion to go. GO NOW! Especially because they have a limited-time special menu (in addition to the regular menu ) that has some real gems on it. The steak will WOW you and the Beef short ribs are fall- off -the-bone. YUMMY. Go soon so you can try some of those items. My filet mignon was soft as butter and the back ribs are hard to beat. GO HUNGRY. Portions are substantial. (We needed a shopping bag to take home all the left overs). Chris prepared a selection of desserts for us in honor of our Birthday guest. They were over the top fantastic. One was better than the next. It wont be easy, but leave room for dessert. You will love the food and be WOWd by the service. Shout out to Chris and all the staff. Well be back.

The slowest service I ve had in a while. It took forever for everything to come out, food came before drinks, and had to wait at least 20-30 minutes before we could flag down our server for the bill. I will not be returning - it was embarrassing in front of our guests.

***** **June 7/24 - I have responded to Roman, as he requested, but to date no response, whats the point if youre not going to reply?******* I have been going to Chop Steakhouse for a few years now and love the space, atmosphere and food. I have found lately that the servers are not at all attentive. They huddle around the bar area and chat amongst themselves along with the manager. On my last two occasions, we were seated, placed our order, received our food and beverages, then I waited and waited until finally I waived down the bartender to order additional drinks. You would think that with all the staff hanging around the bar someone would have time to check on the patrons at the tables. Disappointing Parking: plenty of parking

The food was delicious but service that we received today from Mike M was truly a special touch that we haven t got in a long time in food industry. Mike made sure to explain everything to us and substitute what we didn t like with many options and went over and above to connect with our kids. He is truly a gem to this restaurant and we can t wait to be back and enjoy the delicious food. The menu selection for kids is great as it has healthy options for kids to pick salmon and steak that my kids loved. Honestly I feel all the restaurants need to follow Chop kids menu as an example to allow the new generation to eat healthy. Can t wait to be back and try other items on the menu. The menu selection covers all needs! Kid-friendliness: Absolutely!

Everything was really good but the server was taking to long and we waited 30 min just to order after we got our drinks but other than that everything was great

The vibe and food here was amazing! Estee served us and she was extremely sweet and attentive the entire time. Will definitely be coming here again.

Very Good Food quality and friendly Staff

Came here on a Friday night for my birthday with a group of 6. The restaurant is lively with both indoor and patio options. I ordered the large Prime Rib medium rare and it was very tender. My friend ordered the bone in ribeye and even though they got it medium well, it was still tender. This place does steak well and I would go back.

I give this establishment 1 star because they serve military rations

Celebrated my 60th birthday with my son. Our waitress Estee at the Vaughan location made it all that more special. Thank u Estee for your great service.

Went here for my mothers 60th birthday. Sat on the lovely patio and had an amazing steak! Great place and amazing service, shoutout to Estee for amazing service and knowledge of the menu and great personality! Would defintely go back with that type of amazing service

Chop Steakhouse Vaughan was a complete letdown, serving overpriced, flavorless steaks and inedible sides that left us feeling ripped off. With the exorbitant prices and poor quality, I would never waste my money there again.

Top notch food and service!

My granddaughter understanding how upset I was at not getting a reservation yesterday for my spouse s birthday kindly took it upon herself to call today and spoke to the manager. After she explained the situation the manager was solicitous and agreed to her request for a reservation for our party. I cannot thank my granddaughter enough and the manager for his understanding.

Service was less than stellar. We waited 20 minutes at 2pm in the afternoon when it wasnt busy but was filled with staff. I went be going back.

Casual. Different seating settings including covered patio with dj, indoor bar, indoor dining. Good food.

Fantastic afterparty for VFF Vaughan Film Festival
