Nice place with helpful people. We went there during the holiday season and it was super busy and I think as a result their service was slow. Generally, we enjoyed this place

Worst service ever. Took forever to get food, then the same meat would be around. You ask for something multiple times and never comes. Even getting was forever. Then getting someone come around with the machine to pay was forever. Then they have nerve to automatically add 18% gratitude. Never again

Good food, decent service, hate the over crowded, sardine packed atmosphere. Called ahead to inform them, the seating needed to be away from crowded lower level, due to over sensory stimulation ( neuro issue) Ignored the request. Family had a hard time . Food

Highly qualified chef, very tasty dishes. The meat turned out tender and juicy. Pineapples pleasantly surprised with their taste. The staff is polite and friendly.

Ive been here a few times, and it seems like it never changes. Some friends and I went to celebrate a birthday. Our waitress was absolutely incredible, and the speed the sides came out was spectacular. But thats not why we go to Brazilian Steakhouses, is it. The meat comes out in waves, and when we arrived, it wasnt the wave we wanted. We had to wait sometime before the meat came, disappointing. And when it did come, my plate was overflowing because you cant say no in fear of waiting a long time for it to return. Very inconsistent to say the least. The worst part, after getting pineapple, its like they forgot our table existed. Some of us didnt leave completely full. I think for an all you can eat, thats the worst possible outcome.

Love the food here, especially the filet mignon. The meat is juicy, and the outside layer is crips. The cornbread and the pineapple were good, too. The atmosphere is chill and nice. There was guitar playing when we visited.

At first it was fantastic! the first two meat offerings were very tasty and small but I thought they would come around frequently so no worries. We never saw the good meat again but were bombarded with app that no one really cared for. We have a table for 16 and they had a large group coming in after us and they rushed us out the door. We never got the meats we asked for and for an all you can eat we felt ripped off.

Not worth it! Servers will stop serving you food after about 20 mins and they will force you to pay 18% tip without any warning. Food is okay but service is really bad. Servers are non-chalant with no customer service. If they run out of meat they say they ll come back, but never did.

This place is glorious! The meats are all cooked to absolute perfection every time and are delicious. The meat carvers are friendly and quick - Abriez in Vaughn esepcially so!! Always delivers me and my groups fantastic customer service. Went once, became hooked. It is a bit expensive for the 2 hour time limit and depending on how hard the servers are hustling you may leave less than full or without trying all the meats you wanted which can be disappointing.

Recently dined at this amazing restaurant. The meat was delicious and we were so full by the end of the evening. Our server Rosa was the highlight of our evening and entire experience. So attentive, friendly and warm!

I visited this weekend for a birthday celebration and it was unfortunately a huge disappointment. The service was incredibly inconsistent, with the meat rarely making it to our table, even when it was circulating nearby. We had to repeatedly flag down staff to request service, and even then, they would often stop serving our party halfway through, promising to return but never did. This forced us to order extra side dishes just to get something to eat. Its disheartening to see the service decline with each visit, especially after celebrating so many events here in the past. Im afraid I wont be returning.

Showing up at 4:30 it was packed. As they had a few Christmas / staff parties going on. Understandably they got some priority. But overall still had a great time and meal. Chef came out and greeted us acknowledging they were slammed. The staff was still quite accommodating and food was still hot when they came to serve us.

Was an amazing experience. Cuts of meat are delicious and staff were lovely. Music was amazing and Chef was very friendly. Definetly want to go back. Exotic drinks were delicious and beer was ice cold. Wish we could have stayed longer than the 2 hours!!!!!

The service is TERRIBLE since the new ownership. You have to fight to get meat. I recommend going to Fogo De Chão when it opens up in Toronto soon, it s excellent in the states and they don t fill their prime cuts with excessive amounts of cheese, just pure delicious meat!

Third time visiting Copa at this location, and once again - did not disappoint! Had a reservation at 5:30 tonight to celebrate birthday dinner. Service, quality of food, and ambiance was incredible! Seriously, not one complaint about each cut of meat that was served. Chicken, and shrimp were even noteworthy. If you know, you know - the grilled pineapple is the STAR of the show. This time dining in as 2 with a guest who has never visited before, I felt the service was extremely attentive and personalized. At multiple points during our visit, servers asked if we preferred a specific type/cut of meat and by the end we were turning the food away. The only thing to note was dining in early there was no live music or dancers which to be fair, maybe they are scheduled for later diners. Overall, super happy with the experience and will be returning!

It was definitely an experience that everyone should have. Im not much of a red meat person, which is what they had mostly coming around, but once they get used to you, they start bringing your preferences. The food tasted great weather it was new things to try or things your use to you will not be disappointed.

This was our second time there. It was noisy, and service was slow. We tried to catch servers to get more appetizers and were told to use a QR code to order them. This was something we had to figure out. We took an elderly couple there for their anniversary and we all seemed to not really eat a lot by the time we got our small slice. Watch out!!!! Also for 4 of us they CHARGED AN 18% GRATUITY on top of the bill and we didnt know this since our first time there someone else took us and paid. The place then received an additional 18% on top. The hostess ran off and didnt even ask if we wanted a copy of the receipt. She knew we had hit the button to pay more tip. Sneaky! Be careful!

Expensive chaos . Perhaps our party s experience wasn t the norm but having repeatedly ask for the meat-skewer servers to attend our table started to get a little old after a while Food is ok when you get it and the waitress we had (Lisa) did her best but was obviously frustrated. In the end, $559 for 4 people with drinks & wine felt a overpriced for the experience. . Edit: 2 of 4 dinner guests were vomiting all night following eating at this establishment. How is it smart to put inexperienced waiters in charge of carving off undone meat onto customer s plates? No surprise people get sick . Another edit... Interesting discovery... the reviews you can see change depending on what Google profile is in use... Kinda throws the whole integrity of the Google reviewing function into doubt...

An Unforgettable Copacabana Rodizio Experience This rodizio restaurant is incredible! The meats are perfectly grilled, the sides are flavorful, and the chef Jamie personally checks in to ensure everything is just right. It s the perfect spot to relax, indulge, and leave absolutely happy. Highly recommended!

Great quality and dancers

Weve been to this and two more of the Copacabana places, pre-covid, it used to be great like the rest, however, all the salads and other small dishes were poorly seasoned, the meat serving was extremely slow and inefficient. Ten minutes waiting for the bill... After almost ten years going to Copacabana weve decided that it is the last time, we simply waited for this awful experience to end. Go to a good restaurant and pay same price for a good experience.

The food is ok , but we have noticed the frequency of servings dropped after the first few rounds. One thing we dont agree is automatic gratuity being added to the bill ( 18%!). For the quality of the food and the service, a way too expensive! Food : 4/5

The meat quality was excellent, and the atmosphere, enhanced by talented dancers, was a highlight of the experience. However, the sides were disappointing lacking flavor and the fries were among the worst I ve had. Over the years, the quality seems to have declined, with portions becoming stingier. Unfortunately, the service was subpar; our server asked for additional requests but barely brought more beef when asked.

My last visit was pre-covid, at that I would rate it 6 out of five. This time around, it is a totally flipped experience, They did not serve all different steaks, only brought 7 different options, skewers were very small in size, and they didnt give us our requested level of cooking. Only brought a small try of one flavour which was better done. After first 15~20 minutes, they simply abandoned us and stopped serving us anymore. Buffet is also removed, you have to order those items and then if you find like something, you feel bad about wasting that serving. After all this bad experience, they force you to pay 18% gratuity on top of already extremely overpriced food. Never coming back again. Kid-friendliness: If you take kids, you day $40 for nothing for kids to eat.

Excellent meats, music was to loud, but we were seated a few feet from the speaker. Would recommend, it s pricey compared to Touro but you get what you pay for.

A surprise dinner was planned for my mom s 80th birthday. 99% of us had never been there before & didn t know what to expect for our $75 a plate! Most of us only eat our meat well done; so we hardly ate most of the meat. They brought these little bowls of two different sides. Mac & cheese, and brussel sprouts. There was no asking of what sides we would like. The side dishes was enough for one person really. There were 2 tables of about 12 people each table. One one told us about any salads or other dishes offered. I felt so bad for my mom. I know she didn t enjoy her experience. It wasn t until I googled this place and learned they had a buffet table and other dishes was supposed to come with our $75 meat. I will never go to that place again!!!!!! It cost me over $200 for my Mom & I. We barely ate anything

Solid 4 star. Amazing food, service was poor and 1- 1.5 hours in they stop serving you meat. And they hand ya a 250 dollar bill for you and your lady

Unfortunately, service was not the best. We were not told to order the sides through the phone. Waiting for the waitress was frustrating. Other tables were being served, yet our table was barely getting served. We had to complain to actually get some steaks presented to us. If you re paying $75/person, + automatic 18% gratuity, we shouldn t have to complain to start receiving steak. Once we spoke to the manager, service became a lot better. However, wish it didn t have to get to that point to be treated decently. Also, the need to pay $20/person to reserve a spot is weird.

The layout of the restaurant is terrible in comparison to the Yonge & Eglinton location and the Downtown location (which is now closed down). The salad bar menu is very boring (see it for yourself online). I will say the beef options that came around were tender and flavourful. For $75pp though, I d say try somewhere else. They don t even have the dancers anymore, so I can t justify this price. You have to scan the menu with your phone to view it, but the menu it brings you to doesn t list the price of the all-you-can-eat our server also never gave us this information upon arrival, we had to ask her what the options were for dinner & the price. When I asked the waitress, she told me I have to google the main website to find more information (what types of meat they offered/price). I found this really odd. The bar was also extremely slow. 20minute wait, minimum, for each drink ordered. I wouldn t visit here again.

The service leaves a lot to be desired (plates were not changed, we had to walk up to the waiter to talk to him, etc.), and being a limited time restaurant, we spent most of the time just waiting Secondly, the quality of the meat is not very good. At least at this price, the restaurant should use higher quality meat. All in all, there is no need to try a store that will only give customers another unsatisfactory experience.

Ive been here several times before and have had great experiences. This time I was very disappointed when we went for dinner tonight (Oct 29). Service was slow and selection was limited. When we were asked what items we wanted more of, it took forever for the food to come. Servers seemed to go to other tables around us more often. There was no selection for dessert -only option was for vanilla ice cream. I paid $111 for my meal alone, which I considered to be over priced for the the food I received. I did not leave satisfied compared to my previous visits.

Go to reviews - and select by lowest rating and that pretty much summarizes my experience at this restaurant this evening after spending over $100 per head! Needless to say, save your hard earned money and spend it at an establishment that focuses on service and not penny pinching.

The ribeye and skirt steak stood out, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Accompanying these were a variety of chef s side dishes, all thoughtfully prepared and complementing the main courses beautifully. The service was attentive and friendly, with staff ensuring our plates were never empty and our glasses always full. The live music added a lively touch, enhancing the festive ambiance. While the music was a bit loud at times, it contributed to the overall energetic atmosphere. For special occasions like ours, Copacabana offers a Date Night package on Thursdays, which includes their full Brazilian Rodizio for $145 per couple. This package provides excellent value and adds a romantic touch to the evening. In summary, Copacabana Brazilian Steakhouse provided a delightful dining experience that made our anniversary truly special. We look forward to returning for future celebrations. The food was mediocre and average. Considering the cost, I wouldn t say it s worth it.

First time trying this restaurant and I enjoyed my evening. Expect to receive top tier customer service right when you walk into the door, we were greeted upon entry and immediately seated (not busy on Monday night 5:15pm). The hostess was kind and explained how to order sides and drinks. The meat servers were friendly and routinely came to the table, keeping our plates filled. I never needed to call anyone as the servers checked up on us every couple minutes. Water was refilled promptly and many requests were rapidly fulfilled when asked for a favourite cut. The food itself is tasty, you can order sauces to complement the meat. The parmesan steak however was a bit salty, which the salad came in handy. If you re looking for a filling dinner, I recommend visiting this restaurant.

Food and experience were amazing. Everything was delicious. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Music was too loud so we had to shout over the din to each other which isnt exactly date night friendly. Overall 4 stars and will absolutely go again.

Very delicious meat but no salad bar!!!!

I recently dined at Copa Cabana Steakhouse and had a generally enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was decent, creating a comfortable environment for a nice meal. Also, I was a bit disappointed to find that there was no salad bar available, which I usually look forward to at steakhouses. The food was ok, but the service was bad. I made reservations for my birthday dinner and I arrived on time and had to wait 30 mins before getting seated! And they kept telling me 5 mins. The place was really full and it seemed understaffed because it took forever to get my orders

I recently visited this restaurant, and I was disappointed with the experience. The concept is interesting, with servers bringing fresh cuts of meat directly to the table, but unfortunately, the service was extremely slow. Given the high price of $80 per person, I expected a continuous and attentive service. However, we waited about 10 minutes between each round, with only small, thin slices served at a time. I felt that they were possibly waiting for us to feel full just by the delay, which was frustrating. After expressing my disappointment to the manager, they did bring more food a few times, but it still didn t meet my expectations. I had imagined a more consistent and fulfilling dining experience where we could enjoy the food without long gaps. Overall, I found it to be a poor value for the price, and I left the restaurant unsatisfied.

Went with a group of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids) . This restaurant cannot accommodate big groups especially on a Friday , Saturday or Sunday. They need to just stop taking reservations and walk in until they can serve tables properly. This is the third (now the last time) this has happened but remarkably each time consecutively gets worse and worse. Appetizers took about 20 minutes to roll out. After, we were served the meat for about 35 minutes then they stopped serving us. They started to ask if we wanted any requests . But none of them were made until we were fed up and asked for the bill. We waited over 40 minutes for anything to even be served to us. We made our requests with 4 separate servers, but nothing was delivered . The table beside us arrived before us (table of two) were continuously served while we sat and waited and watched. Unfortunate that every single time we went it was for a special occasion and the service had been horrible. Our bill ( $700 later ) came out in seconds . Machine and servers for our bill came remarkably fast. Left without even being served any dessert. A huge disappointment. Everyone left hungry.

They say they close at 10 but they dont let you in at 9.

We came on a monday with a large group. The food was good, but service is really subpar. Took an hour to get a drink. We didnt get many of the dishes/drinks we ordered. The meat doesn t come around enough.

The meat/steaks, shrimp and salmon were perfection! Love the house made chimichurri sauces and of course the grilled pineapple!!We were sitting in the indoor patio area and it was chilly even with the heaters above us, would prefer in the main dining area. Also the speakers were right by us so I couldn t hear my partner sitting across from me. Food and service was excellent and the drinks as well! Definitely returning!

Used to come here all the time but the food quality is declining and they continuously get rid of good items from the menu (buttermilk ribeye, churros, brownies, sweet potato fries, etc.) but continue to charge the same. Foods still okay and worth a visit every now and then, but not good for a regular spot any more.

The food here was absolutely but the servers were pretty slow at least at the time that I was here. I m gonna be honest, the bathroom were absolutely filthy and disgusting but apart from that this place ain t bad very good food.

We came here with a group of 5 and were disappointed by the service. Our table was completely ignored for most of the evening, which was frustrating. While the food was good, the options were somewhat limited compared to other Brazilian steakhouses. The only saving grace was one server who did his best to cater to us, bringing around meat while everyone else overlooked our table. Been a few times to this place it was always so good we drive 90mins to get here. Upon arriving this time we were a little confused as the ordering is all online but luckily the server came over to help with drinks and sides. The sides were really good and apart from mac and cheese which we had to order 6 times before getting it they came out quick. Meat service was lacking sadly I left hungry as we had been in two hours and the restaurant was busy people waiting for tables. The staff were really nice and asked what we wanted but they never brought it so kept asking. They always brought what we wanted and instead of bringing to us went to all the other tables. It was sad how can you go to Brazilian steakhouse and leave hungry??? When they cleared the table and offered the bills a 18% tip was automatically added and normally I would tip 20% but this time it wasnt deserved and to be forced to tip a specific percentage was just cheeky and why would it be earned if its guaranteed. We were never informed of this practice and then upon looking its printed on the menus which are only online. $100 to leave hungry enough that my colleagues asked me today did you get enough to eat I heard it was scarce. Im sad because every other time its been fantastic and top notch and our group consider it our big yearly treat. I dont think we will be returning definitely not anytime soon anyways. Came here to celebrate a birthday and you could tell the staff was disorganized. The meat took forever to come by, we waited for refills, waited for cheese bread and had to ask 4 times before we got it. Our bills came and we were charged double for drinks when we only ordered the 1. I told the waitress and she said she took it off but that was a lie because my husband already paid our bill. For 2 people we spent over $230, meat barely came around, drinks were watered down and flat and they have the nerve to charge $8 for a fountain pop?? Ridiculous. Live music was ok but people go to copa cabana for the dancers. I never got my money back for my drink, paid over 30 bucks in tips for not so great service: this cost me more than a car payment and it was not worth it. Out of all locations , including tauro, brassa, this was the worst one. Would be happy to change my review if I had a better experience in the future but as for now, I would not return.

This restaurant is really nice. However, when we first sat down, it was way too cold due to the air conditioning, even though it was the middle of summer. The service felt odd because we had to order using a QR code, which took away from the luxury experience. You pay a high price for the food, and drinks are extra, so you expect a high-end dining experience. Using a QR code on your own phone detracts from that. The servers kept bringing out the same food items to our table too often, and we had to ask multiple times for certain things like pineapple. Overall, I think there is a lot of room for improvement.

We went to the vaghuan location. The service was great. People who are working here are very polite and patient. After bringing so many times meats ,they still asked us a few times if we had any favorite to bring more. Service is better than other locations. The food was as amazing as other locations.

The best bang for your buck. You try many different types of meats, all with different rich flavours and fresh off the grill. The sides are all free and you order it through your phone. Service was great and their prices are very fair. No regrets at all. Atmosphere was great too

Copa Cabana was always one of my favourites, but after this visit, I won t be back anytime soon. My table ordered several of the chef sides and each one was terrible. I actually sent 2 back because they were so off putting. We ordered alcoholic drinks. All poorly made. One of the meat men was rather sassy, the other was great. We had wobbly table, so wobbly in fact, it was actually an inconvenience and the place wasn t busy. (Why not move us somewhere else?) and there were flies constantly buzzing around us. Now, to be fair, some of the meat selections were excellent! As well the manager seemed nice and made sure we got more of what we enjoyed, which I appreciated. To end, I ll say the meat was good. All the other details can be greatly improve, and for this price point, it needs to be.

As a meat lover, I definitely enjoyed it here! It was a new experience for me. It was more of an all you can eat meat . The servers go round, offering you different types of meats/steak. It wasnt worth the money. We waited 30 minutes for our table even though we had a reservation. They came around and asked us what else we would like more of and brought only two of the meat items we asked for. The compulsory gratuity is also not great since it is already so expensive and the gratuity ends up making your bill much higher.

Used to be a great place, where you could eat meat the whole time and struggle to keep the plate empty. This was not the case however when we came back to celebrate a birthday. We were constantly waiting for meat to come around and the servers kept skipping our table. It was almost 1.5 hours there and I started getting hungry from the lack of service and food. I agree with the other reviews I will not be returning back, for such a high price you are much better off at a regular steakhouse. Even after requesting pineapple we had to wait 20mins for it. Very loud. Meat was good but very slow coming around with the different cuts of meat.

Extremely disappointed with our experience here. Came to celebrate my 30th birthday with wife kids and family. Service in beginning was decent but after the first 15 minutes we apparently became invisible to the staff. We left unsatisfied with the amount of food we ate. I came here before the pandemic and my experience was much better. Truthfully, don t think I will be coming back because the $200 dollars we paid for 2 adults would be better spent at The Keg. At least I would have a decent amount of meat.

We used to love coming here .last time we visited this weekend . They shrank everything from the menu to the service. You almost have to beg for meat to come to you and they give you attitude for asking for more . Limited option of dessert, slow service , guaranteed 18 percent service charge , not worth it . My partner and I used to visit Copa Cabana every single week. It became such a routine that the servers knew our names and our order the moment we sat down. However, over time, we noticed a decline in the quality of both food and service. Initially, we chalked it up to the effects of COVID-19 and remained loyal, hoping they d bounce back. Unfortunately, things kept sliding downhill. They took our favorite ribeye off the menu, service slowed to a crawl, meats came out burnt and overly salty, and the final straw was leaving the restaurant still hungry after a disappointing meal. After a long break, we reluctantly returned with a group to celebrate a birthday. To our surprise, it felt like the Copa Cabana we once loved was back. The service was impeccable, and we had such a great time that evening. It was a relief to see this place pick up again because it has always been one of our favorite spots for date nights. I m thrilled to see things turning around, and I hope it continues this way so we can go back to our weekly rituals of great steak!

First time here and experiencing endless meat! My god does the parade of meat never stop, and if you arent careful youll be getting those meat sweats asap. I think my favourite was the bacon wrapped filet mignon and second would be the pineapple off the stick! Both were absolutely delicious. Do be prepared some meat may come out a little salty but it is all worth the experience

Food was slow to arrive at first. The meat that is served is so thinly sliced that you need to ask for multiple pieces just to have a normal tasting of it. It takes quite a while for the other meats to arrive only to have again super thin slices served. The sides were okay, notably the cheese balls, brussel sprouts and potatoes in sauce were very good. After a while even though we still wanted meat the servers stopped coming to our table. We had to actually ask the servers to bring more meat. The pineapple took at least 20 minutes to arrive after asking several times. The servers were all very nice but for $91.00 per person with tax and tip we will not return again, not worth it. Also, the 18% tip should not be added on automatically.

Mid at best. Been coming here for the last 3 years for a friend s birthday. The food and service has gone down which is unfortunate. We had dinner starting at 7:15pm and by 8:00 we sat patiently waiting for sides and meat to come. We asked multiple times where our side orders are and requested for the meat to come around. Things finally started coming again around 8:30pm. Pineapple was horrible as you can tell from the picture. The servers are nice and friendly and they had a live musician so that was great. Overall, it s not worth the price for the type of service you get.

The web site is saying that kids eat free, but it is not true.

There seems to be no logic in the way the meats are served - the carvers seem to consistently skip our table and serve the tables on our left and right. We waited close to 30min before getting our first meat. Our neighboring table (who arrived after us) got pincanha and top sirloin twice before we were even offered a single serving. Also music was way too loud, cannot even have a conversation. At this price point we could have had a nicer meal at any steakhouse in town.

Not all items advertised on tasting menu were served even though we were sitting for 2 full hours. We had to ask for salmon 3 times before it was served. Carvers were inconsistent in which tables were getting meats, we were skipped multiple times when tables to our left and right were getting meats despite having an empty plate. We even waited more than 15 minutes for end~of-meal ice cream before giving up and leaving. Music was also so loud that you practically had to shout at the person sitting across. I can see why there is a mandatory 18% gratuity - if it was voluntary our tip would not have exceeded 10% LOL

Went to this place many times prior to Covid and loved it mannnn, what a difference yesterday evening. The place used to be so vibrant and fun, they had live dancers, great service, buffet style side dishes etc. Nowwww, cold service you order from your phone and no server comes to even check on you to change plates, bring napkins and to top it off it was $100 per person and they even have the audacity to charge an 18% auto gratuity!!!! For $100 per person you can get a better meal at almost any 5 star restaurant. The meat was also very noticeably salty which shows their intent. Side note, bathroom was also disgusting. This place needs some new management for sure because theyre lacking in service no doubt.

We went to this location as a party of 4 for my birthday and it was an excellent experience. We arrived about 30 minutes early but they accommodated and sat us early. The restaurant was clean and well organized with an enclosed patio. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They bring meat to the table on skewers and you take a small sampling. You also can order things of the menu included in the price. Everything we had was delicious and perfectly cooked. They also had a live singer who was excellent and fit in with the atmosphere perfectly. Would definitely return to this location. The experience was amazing.

Copacabana just isn t what it used to be. There s no buffet table anymore and now you gotta order your sides one at a time. The quality of the meat was fine , nothing spectacular but the flavours were just salt or cheese. Most of the sides were also either super mid or not available. Also please just have more pineapple available, give the people what they want. This restaurant used to be so fun and made it feel like a special occasion but has now turned into a family friendly mediocre restaurant in the burbs. Disappointed and won t be back after spending $70 pp plus an automatic 18% gratuity regardless of your table size.

This was my second visit to this restaurant, and unfortunately, it will be my last. Despite the reputation of the establishment, the level of service was extremely disappointing. Our server lacked knowledge about the beverage menu, and it was difficult to get her attention when we needed to order drinks, sides, or additional items. On multiple occasions, I had to leave the table to find another staff member to inquire about our servers whereabouts, as she would disappear for over 15 minutes at a time, leaving us unable to place orders when needed. One guest from our party waited over 20 minutes for her beverage, that she ended up canceling it. The service from the gentleman serving skewers was also very poor. There were times we waited nearly 20 minutes between servings, while other tables seemed to receive regular attention. Even when they did come to our table, they only offered food to a few members of our party before moving on, leaving others without a chance to be served. To add to the disappointment, an 18% gratuity was automatically applied. I have worked in the service industry for over 10 years, and I fully support tipping for good service. However, the service we received was not reflective of an 18% tip. The staff did not seem to prioritize the guest experience, and there was no visible management presence on the floor to ensure everything was running smoothly. The restrooms were also not well-maintained, further diminishing the overall experience. The only positive aspect of the meal was the quality of the meat, which was excellent. However, the infrequency of service made it difficult to fully enjoy. Ultimately, I would not recommend this restaurant, as it does not live up to the standards set by other Brazilian steakhouses. While it may have a strong social media presence and name recognition, the experience itself falls far short of expectations.

Wait time for serving meat around 20/30 min rotation (we complain about it around 4 times), we will never come back and also auto gratuity 18% for bad service. Just got full waiting, never had a chance to try all the menu. If you looking for an all you can eat Brazilian, this isn t the right place.

paying too much just for the apps. told the server we wanted meat, but still took so long. celebrated my birthday hoping for a good dinner but just lost my appetite just by waiting. wouldnt even pay the half. I would not go back ever again due to bad services. We had asked to serve pineapple 4 times so we can pay but server intentionally ignored us. They would serve all the tables except ours. It turned out they are racists because we are only Asian group in the restaurant. 18% tip are added all bills after they noticed that we are not happy with services.

The food was amazing BUT service was slow we didnt get to taste many of the meat on the menu Had to call our server to notify her. Apps came first ... Apps I would say came super fast. Lasagna tasted like it was frozen and bland.. Mac and cheese was amazing.. Brussels sprouts were good... Corn bread and butter bread was offered in the beginning once.. thats it. As for the meat .very tasty if you got some We did not end up trying all the meats because they either don t offer them during the week or they didn t bother coming to our table with it. The people serving the food are amazing and some definitely tried to help us get more food. Food is way too salty. Majority of the meat is smothered in salt. There were a few pieces of meat i didn t find salty, but majority of it was. Also its too pricey to what for what you get. $70 plus taxes, and 18% gratuity. I could easily go to a fine dining restaurant, and pay around the same amount, and get way better quality food that isn t drenched in salt. I only came here for my friends birthday, i would never come here on my own will. I will say the service was great, but it also wasn t that busy either, but none the less, it was great service. The restaurant does look nice. I just wished the food was better.

Went for a birthday and didn t disappoint. Server was amazing checked on us several times if we needed anything , something I haven t seen done by other servers as of late from other establishments so well done here ! Meats came out quick , at times a little rare for my liking and they had to come back for at least medium - medium rare. We asked for well done for my dad and brought some cuts out rather quickly so thank you for that . Overall near perfect score just need to check the meats when they come out to the tables as several times the meat cutters had to stop mid cut and bring it back cause it wasn t cooked enough to serve . The cheesy steak passed by me 4 times and not once stoped at our table. If you want your meat well done, forget about it. You ll get it at closing hours and they give you a tiny piece of meat and come back 20min later. We did not experience majority of the meats. We paid $160 for lettuce and Mac and cheese. Tried 3 types of meat in our 2 hour visit. Staff and (lack of management) where very careless and did not try to rectify our disaffection. They kept saying the meat is coming and they needed to add more charcoal for the meat to get well done. He s telling us the problem is the charcoal. . We left without trying the pineapple which was the exact reason I went there, that pineapple skewer passed by me 4 times and did not stop. They also include the gratitude of 18% automatically which does not reflect the service. I would give a 0 star if I could. I STILL CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT THE PINEAPPLE PASSED BY ME 4 times and did not stop. Oh and as I was walking out the restaurant, I heard some people saying those the shrimp wasn t cooked, what SHRIMP!!! I went there for the first time, and it was great! It was the weekend, so it was packed, and the service was a bit slow. But after a while, when the crowd thinned out, they started bringing out the meat and steak like crazy. And let me tell you, it was seasoned to perfection and cooked just the way I like it medium-rare all the way! My advice? Try to go when its not so busy. Other than that, everything was on point.

All the meats were so tender and tasted great, and the roasted potatoes were crispy on the outside and cooked perfectly on the outside. As a first time diner, it was also just a fun experience, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

My first time at Copacabana, here in Woodbridge/Vaughan. My partner and I were celebrating her birthday. We were greeted and seated by the manager, Mete. He immediately welcomed us and gave us a menu tour and highlighted some of the great dishes available. As it was my first time, I took his recommendations and was pleased with every dish that was set in front of us! I have to give some additional mention to his staff, especially to Elisabeth L. She provided exceptional service and treated us with such special attention, that I was ready to recommend her to come work with me!! The staff members were on cue. Ready to assist, provided exceptional service as they assisted with the food deliveries. I will recommend Copacabana, Vaughan, to all my friends and family. I will be back!! Word of advise - come hungry!!!!

Honest review here. Went for my husband s birthday and I think this place is way over rated. The food was ok, the sides are extremely bland and really don t live up to the hype on the menu where you feel like there s so much variety and preparedness in each dish. It s nothing special. Each portion is extremely tiny and although they re coming around with meat, it s a very little at a time. And very thinly sliced. We requested the shrimp and salmon which IS offered on the menu, but it was barely served and we had to ask several times for it. After an hour of your eating experience, they make a point to slow down on coming to your table to offer meat. So now you find yourself having to flag down servers and ask, which was disappointing as their website says you have 2 hours. It s also such a distasteful thing for your guests to have to do. So expect or look out for that if you go to celebrate an occasion and you plan to sit and enjoy yourself. Also, there s a lot of sides coming out at once and our waitress barely cleared our table which is a huge pet peeve of mine because you re basically Surrounded by leftovers and dirty dishes as you try to enjoy your next dishes. Please clear the tables as often as you can. Not sure someone is done? Ask! When making the reservation they ask if it s a special occasion. I did say birthday, but no one approached our asked about it, which i find was disappointing. If you re going to ask, at least make the guest feel special in some way by offering dessert or a small token of appreciation for choosing your establishment to celebrate. Overall, I d never ever spend that kind of money in a place like this again. 18% gratuity added automatically and that was a let down as our waitress was not on point at all Way too much $$$$ for a half way experience.

I went there with my other 3 girlfriends last Wednesday for their Ladies night promotion. The price is $50 for the lady, and I thought maybe the service won t be as good and meats selection wouldn t be as big as on the regular day, but everything was fabulous. The only thing that they didn t was Miami Ribs which are my absolute favorite ones, but I have talked to the general manager and he explained to me that they only serve those on the weekends, but other meats were great as well so I was still very happy. They also seemed to update their drinks menu recently, and as I am a sangria lover, I have seen that there was a new drink in the sangria section called Life is Peachy . I ve tried it and it s 9/10 for me, something not very usual, but yet very tasty and exotic indeed. With this Ladies Night night promo that they have making it a bit more affordable, I will be coming back very soon for sure!!!

Food wasn t bad, but it took forever to get the meat every time. We went there on Wednesday and the place wasn t too busy, however we didn t get to try everything. I have been there before Covid, they used to charge $40/person, now it s almost double the price for a fraction of the food you receive. After we spend a quiet bit of time we decided to leave. My kids even made a comment that they are not full or satisfied. It was waste of money and time

My recent visit to Copacabana was nothing short of a disaster. For a place thats supposed to specialize in Brazilian barbecue, they barely gave us any meat during the entire two hours we were there. Instead, we were inundated with appetizers we didnt want, while the meat we did want was nearly nonexistent. The service was painfully slow, and when the meat did finally come around, the portions were laughably small. To make matters worse, when servers passed by with meat, they always said they would come back around but never did. We left hungry and frustrated, feeling completely ripped off. Save your money and find somewhere that actually values its customers and knows how to serve a proper meal. Copacabana was a complete waste of time and money.

The food tasted great but that was the only plus the service was terrible took forever to get meats then they stopped bringing them all together waited forever between drinks close to half an hour 18 percent tip is included but if I had the choice I would have tipped nothing.

Don t waste your time going there after 9pm, even if the website says they re open until 11 or 12, they stop seating at 9 and run out of meat before 10pm. They should really make this more clear, I probably won t be back as I don t want to be rushed to have a nice dinner before 9pm

Very busy on a Saturday (expected and understandable) so though we had a reservation we still waited maybe ten minutes or so for a table. Our server, Zenya A, was amazing and is the reason why we enjoyed our experience in Vaughn. She offered to refill our drinks when they weren t yet empty and offered to give us clean plates. Very fast and diligent with any requests we put. One star is missing in atmosphere for the wait and generally it was loud due to music and it was hard to hear my partner. Food kept coming so I m very happy!

It was our first time dining at Copacabana! We enjoyed the guys that came around presenting delicious steaks, shrimps, vegetables, pineapples, mac & cheese and cornbread. However, the enjoyment was marred by our server, Cecilia. She appeared rushed, clumsy and frequently reaching over us instead of properly serving on our right side, which disrupted the flow of the evening and detracted from what could have been a truly wonderful dining experience.

Not only was the food AMAZING, but the service was incredible. Best all you can eat I ve been to. I ll come back as many times as I can!!!

Copacabana was a unique experience and had some very delicious food. Although I had a great time on a date with my girlfriend, I would have to say its a place I only need to go to once. It was expensive and even after completely stuffing myself on all kinds of steaks, a lot of grilled pineapple and the shrimp, I didnt feel like I got my moneys worth. I would still recommend a visit for your first time as its quite a treat having a large variety of foods being freshly cut into your plate.

All the reviews are the same. SALTY MEAT. NO SERVICE. That was a waste of $100 bucks a person. They try to fill you up with starters. Once the carvers come out with the meat, youll notice everything is super salty. Your seating time is 2 hours, but they will serve you meat for about 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, the carvers avoid your table. When you ask for more, they give you attitude. We had a party of 15 people and the carvers came around maybe 5 times. After we asked for more, the carvers will cut meat for one person and say, the meat has to go back on the grill and not come back for 20 minutes. This is while there are pieces that could have been cut for the rest of the table. Salty meat and bad service. The atmosphere was decent. If you have 100 bucks to waste, try it out, but i think The Keg or any steakhouse is more worth your while. They also charge kids 40 bucks to eat fries. Dont bring your kids.

I celebrated my birthday at Copacabana, with my family and it started out well and the food was very tasty. After the first round of meat, the service slowed down. The servers did not come by, actually avoided our table. It was odd. We called the servers over but because it was loud, they continuously would not come by our table. Then eventually we asked our waitress, then someone came over and asked which protein we would like. They should have been equal and come around to every table. That was the most disappointing point of the evening

It s on par price wise with every other Brazilian BBQ in the city. This makes it not worth it though because it s very very average, I wasn t impressed by any one cut of meat, not even the picanha which I feel is the baseline for assessing Brazilian BBQ. My server was a ghost and the young guys tried their best but the meat was often over cooked and just didn t taste great (maybe it s the quality?). In any case, it s close to my house so I had a nice time in the coveted patio area, it s a nice vibe.

This experience was a significant drop from our previous visits. We miss the attentive service and exceptional food quality we were accustomed to. If youve been to Copa, you know the food is great. This time the service was just as good. They were attentive, professional, and friendly. Best part was the live music. A one man solo band that sounded amazing.

Service is terrible at this location. I ve never had an issue with any other location from Toronto to Niagara but we decided to go to the Vaughan location for the first time. Food is amazing as always but service was not even close to other locations. Towards the end, they asked for requests and we asked for ribs, top sirloin, garlic sirloin and grilled pineapple. 20 mins go by not one came by. Our server even the manager came by to see how are things and we repeatedly stated we been waiting for our last requests. Bills come out and we ask again. Another 15 mins go by nothing and we just left. Even people around us were waiting and getting fed up. For $100 better to go spend it at the other locations with better services.

Yesterday I tried this restaurant for the first time. The eating is wonderful, the team is fantastic, fast and always ready to help. The worst came when the bill came to pay, its not the first time this has happened and I get very upset that it happens when its not legal by law. The restaurant put it like 18%, I always give it like this but not this way and everyone should do the same. Because the value of the 18% of type does not go entirely to the employee. I asked to call the restaurant manager and asked him to remove the type and he asked me but why? are you not satisfied? Yes Im satisfied but what youre doing isnt cool and automatically he shut up. I called the girl who served us and gave the tip in cash to her and said that money was for her and not for the boss. She was very grateful for the gesture and said if all customers did the same the workers earned more. I leave my opinion for the future.

My husband and I came here for dinner and we were not happy with our visit. This is not our first visit, so we were able to compare from before. We started off by ordering drinks and a salad. The salad did not taste good at all. However the drinks were great! Then they started coming with the meat. A lot of the meat did not taste as good as they used to. The workers there were very slow at the beginning and kept missing our table to bring us meat. We eventually started getting more and we got to try all of them. They took away a lot of the side dishes that they used to have as well! They used to have a salad bar with all the sides and salads. And used to have a charcuterie area. But that all changed now. Then at the end we were waiting for pineapple to come. We asked the servers multiple times. We waited almost 20 mins for them to bring it over and we ended up leaving without it because the wait was so long. They brought it out to other tables but not to ours. For spending that much money on a dinner, we expected a lot more from it. It is unfair that there is an automatic 18% tip charge that they put on the bill, when I didn t find the service to be good to begin with.

I recently visited Copacabana on Maycroft Avenue in Vaughan with 4 of my friends, and my experience was quite mixed. Initially, the service was good, and we were pleased with how things started. However, as the night progressed, the meats took a while to come out. By the time we were the last people in the restaurant, we noticed that specific meats were not being brought out. I spoke to a waiter and asked if we could get other meats like the barbecue steak, buttermilk steak, beef ribs, and picanha. The waiter mentioned that these cuts were not available. I then asked to speak to the manager, and he said there was no manager. After insisting to speak to someone in charge, a person who identified themselves as the manager came over. This made me wonder where the mix-up was. They initially assured us they had those cuts and would get them ready for us, but later returned to inform us that they didnt have the cuts and couldnt provide them. This was very disappointing, especially since it was an all-you-can-eat service, and we didnt receive five of the advertised cuts of meat. To add to this, I saw them in the back talking a lot and trying to figure out the situation, which made me wonder whether they did not bring out the meat because it was the end of the night and they wanted to leave, or whether they actually did not have them available. It was also evident with the desserts; we were only offered ice cream and fried bananas, whereas usually, there are brownies, cookies, and other desserts available, which we didnt have access to. What made this experience more frustrating was that despite not receiving these meats, we were still charged the full price without any discount or compensation. Although one waiter, Eric, was genuinely kind and tried his best to make our evening enjoyable. He even offered to put the barbecue dry rub on another cut of meat just so we could have the opportunity to still have a barbecue flavor, although the barbecue steak was not available. This effort, however, didn t make up for the overall disappointment. Additionally, we noticed that the waitress seemed annoyed whenever we asked for refills of Diet Coke or Coke, which further dampened our experience. Overall, while Eric s efforts were commendable, the lack of available meats and the waitress s attitude towards refills left us quite dissatisfied with our visit.

Service is great at the beginning , however at a certain point the people completely forget about you and you have to consistently ask for food and drinks to be brought to you at an AYCE restaurant. most of the food you eat ends up being the sides that you have to waive down the waitress for. Considering you re paying roughly $70 a person AND paying auto gratitude of 18% no matter what size group you re in, this was by far a massive disappointment and waste of money. This place used to be gold but the service completely ruined the experience and it was my birthday dinner. Paying a minimum of $250-$300 for a dinner of two would at least hope for good service. @copa y all gotta fix up

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday. I ve only been to the other location in Toronto and let me tell you I m never coming back to these restaurants. The service was poor , they serve you for a few rounds of food and then you have to go searching for your waitress. They didn t bring out half of the food we requested. We kept calling over the guys serving the food and they would purposely ignore us! Our waitress dropped some stuff of the food on the ground and only picked up the plates but left the food sitting there on the ground. I know they add gratuity at every location but I hate it because none of them deserve it, since it s automatic no one cares about quality of customer service . IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GREAT BRAZILIAN RESTAURANT ALL THE WAY AROUND , GO TO BRASA IN NIAGARA FALLS

I was hesitant to come due to the recent reviews, but I have been to this location before multiple times celebrating multiple occasions, and every time service was top notch. So I still decided to come and I have celebrated my birthday with a group of friends and family members, we were 8 people total. Our reservation was on Saturday evening at 7 pm, we were seated at the patio. The weather was great for patio, we were also seated in the shade, so it was perfect. Our server s name was Kellie if I m not mistaken, and she was excellent from start to finish. She came by to our table 2 minutes after we were seated, explained everything in terms of how it works as some people were there fir the first time and she quickly took the order for drinks and sides and all of them were delivered shortly after. Despite the place being very busy, it looked like everyone worked as a team and tried to help each other out to make service better. Guys with meats started to arrive shortly after the sides were brought to the table, and sometimes they were brining meats more often, sometimes less frequently, but that s understandable. As long as you communicate with them about your requests they will make sure to bring it out for you. Even their kitchen manager was coming to our table to check on us and make sure we got everything. I feel like they improved communication with customers significantly recently which ended up in providing better overall customer service and it makes you feel special. My favourite meat as always is Parmesan Filet Mignon and it never dissapoints. We were drinking red wine and we decided to go with something new that was recently added to the menu, Neropasso Biscardo. We gave it a shot and we ended up ordering 3 bottles through out the night. It s sooooo gooooood!!!! Overall, excellent as usual. The only thing that we really miss is dancers that they used to have before COVID, but they have amazing musician performing there on the weekends, and we enjoyed listening to his live perfomance. If you want to see dancers, you need to go to others locations of Copacabana, but in terms of service this one is by far the best location. We will be back very soon!!!

What a fantastic restaurant!!! It was honestly the best steak I ve ever had in my life!! Staff was fun and friendly and service was amazing!! I talked to the general manager for a little because it was my first time there and I wanted to know a little about it, he was so nice and knowledgeable and friendly!! I can t recommend this place enough! Perfect place for a great evening out!!

I used to go to this restaurant often in the past, but last week we went and the experience was really bad, food was scarse and limited, they charged 18% tips automatically without even asking.i will not go back
