In town for a hockey tournament and found this place. Food was great, lots of selection. Service was top notch, would recommend this to friends when in the area for hockey. Will be Back when in town again!

Meh I was expecting way better based off of the reviews. The service was very slow and my friend and I were the only one in the restaurant. We had to go up to the kitchen area to ask for more water and for our receipt. The server never came by to ask how our food was. The poutine was extremely overpriced for the handful of fries that you get. The burger was good, but definitely tasted like a frozen patty. The toppings were what made the burger taste good. The fries could have been more crispy and the bun should have been toasted in my opinion. After reading the reviews, I m really surprised about how mediocre my experience was compared to what other said.

I got the Cowboys Grill Smoked Plate and it was fantastic! I was given 2 options never tried belgium fries and they were better than the regular fries. Everything was cooked great and I will be back again sometime. I want to try the roast beef too. Thank you!

I walked in on last Saturday for brunch while waiting for my mechanic to finish working on my car. I am very happy I did. Right away I was pleasantly greeted by a staff member and the owner Sean and he was a delight. I ordered coffee, smoked shawarma and fries and it did not disappoint. Service was perfect, I was never rushed, or harassed, but all my needs were met. Music was fun, place was clean, and I got to see a couple celebrate their anniversary. I will absolutely be going back again. Thank you Sean!

We stopped at Cowboys Grills on a Sunday afternoon not knowing where we are going to, my wife ordered Chicken parmesan, my daughter ordered chicken fingers and I got Texas smoked brisket sandwich, all dishes were fresh and full of flavor, this place is absolutely 5 start, next time we are planning to go and try their breakfast.

We ordered brisket, wings and back ribs, along with french fries and nachos for our family reunion. Everyone devoured the meal and a few stated this was the best brisket theyd ever had. I would not hesitate to order again. Delicious.

Not a good brisket. Ive had my share of good real Texas brisket. I asked on my Uber order to get the point of the brisket, got the flat, guess they thought I wouldnt know the difference or they just didnt care. I hate not getting what I ordered. Im not very certain that the brisket was smoked. I got little to no smoke flavour, instead more of a cured meat flavour. Ofcourse, being the flat, the meat was dry, sauce was just a fancied ketchup and the fries was soggy. All in all the brisket was OK, Ive certainly had worse. Also keep in mind I havent eaten for over 26hrs before having this, Im on OMAD, so I was very hungry, so this could skew my taste to a more positive critique than what it was in actuallity

Came in here for the first time on Mother s Day, after work, to bring home some sandwiches. This gem of a restaurant is close to work & home, so I thought why not check it out ? Man, was I happy I did. After reading the delicious menu I decided on the Louisiana shredded pulled beef sandwich. I was cheerfully greeted by Sean, the owner as soon as I walked in. After placing my order with his friendly staff I was told that it would take about 10-15 minutes for my order to be ready. That s what I like to hear. While waiting for my sandwiches Sean made sure I was comfortable and asked if he could get me anything while waiting. After assuring him that I was fine I asked him about his place and his history. Wow, he kept me company and entertained while telling me his story of how he got involved in the culinary industry. He then asked about my work and thanked me for working in a long term care home. Those 15 minutes seemed like only 5 minutes. Anyways, after getting home and indulging in my sandwich, I can honestly tell you it was, and still is, the best shredded pulled beef sandwich I ve ever had. The beef was perfectly smoked and well seasoned and the portion was plentiful. The homemade buns were very tasty and completed a perfect balance. Everyone else at home enjoyed theirs just as much. Hidden gem in North York! Great place, great food, great hospitality! Definitely going back! We had the brisket poutine, half pound pork ribs and smoked meat platter, plus dessert (which was phenomenal!). You do not want to miss an opportunity to dine at Cowboys Grill!

I drive by this place daily and finally decided to try it this eve. Unfortunately was let down. The brisket sandwich had extremely dry and chewy brisket on about 2/3 of the sandwich. No meat on the rest, not that it mattered because it was so dry and chewy it was inedible. The ribs were mediocre at best, but the rub used was good. I would not recommend.

This place is decent. I eat here sometimes. But It wont last. For one its in an industrial area with only working class people around while at the same time charging the same prices as a sandwhich shop in Rosedale. Thats just not it. Sorry dude. $20 dollars for sandwhich in this area is a joke. And than to charge $6.50 for two regular sized pops is crazy. Pretty good food though.

My husband and I searched for the best grill in town and Cowboys grill came up. It did not disappoint! We had the pull pork and ribs with their home made chips! Honestly super yummy! Sean the owner and his wife are hard working and really put their heart and soul into their food! We will definitely come back!

Just picked up the Texas Smoked Beef Brisket Sandwich it did not disappoint! The in house baked fresh bun tasted great and the brisket was delicious! The fries were great with the BBQ sauce (sauce made in house!). I met the owner, Sean, who was a very welcoming guy. You can tell he loves what he does. My next meal will be a sit down in the restaurant for the Grill Smoked Plate! Highly recommend this gem!

I recently visited with a group of friends. I ordered half a rack of ribs. My girlfriend ordered the brisket. The meat was tender and fell off the bone. The meal came with fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw was delicious but small. The service was great. The waiter constantly checked up on us making sure we were happy. At final bill with the tip was less than $40. This is the ideal place for lovers of BBQ. They also make their own donuts.

Walking through the doors, youre instantly hit with a deliciously smokey aroma. We were seated, and immediately flustered with an array of great options to choose from. It was our first time, so we both went with their Cowboys Smoked Plate -- which is filled with samples of a bunch of different menu items. The smoked presentation is something to marvel at. And it only gets better once you start digging-in to all the delicious flavors on the platter. I cant say enough about their brisket!!! In totality, this is just Bar-B-Que done absolutely right!!! *TOUCHDOWN* But the kicker, though -- the extra point -- came in the form of their blend of coffee and homemade doughnut. I mean, who would expect such rich quality of coffee & doughnut coming out of a Bar-B-Que joint? But it doesnt stop there. The interior decor complements the food, perfectly. And Sean (the owner), along with his staff are friendly, courteous, and downright hospitable. Great food! Great atmosphere! Great hospitality! Affordable prices!.... I was craving bbq and wanted to try a different spot. Found this place sort of close by, in a very odd industrial area, but very spacious inside. Very large menu, so many options, and just gravitated over the sandwiches. I grabbed the roast beef and friend got the brisket. I think both of us were a little disappointed, the buns were too light, the meat was some of the driest I have had in awhile. I had a very hard time swallowing and there was very little sauce to help smooth over every bite. I tried some of my friends brisket, its supposed to be braised in a wine reduction, but there was no sauce, not juicy, and barely seasoned. It was quite disappointing. Another thing that seems uncommon to me, but we asked for water and were served water bottles for a charge. Apparently we have to ask for tap water, I think if there is an option you should clarify to customers. A little sad about our visit, not sure if its worth another try.

I ve been here a couple of times with both my boyfriend and my family and it never disappoints! The owner is very nice and warm. The food is to die for! The place is clean and well maintained. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

The Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich lacked flavour. It was moist but crust didnt have any bite. There wasnt enough BBQ sauce on the sandwich and is wasnt very good. The bun was ok. There was cheese on the burger, but I couldnt taste it. The fries tasted like frozen fries. I dont know what justifies the high ratings. The restaurant was clean and the servers are friendly. It looks like a family run business. Definitely disappointed with the food after seeing the high ratings.

Came here with my family of 4! The place looks so cool and the food was so much different and better than any ordinary burger/bbq we ve attended. The owner Sean was very talkative and nice. Will be coming back!

The food was impeccable! Unbelievably delicious. If you have an exquisite palate, you ll know that every piece of the dishes we ordered was made from scratch. This was our first time visiting and we decided on the burgers for lunch. THE ONION RINGS - I can t forget the rings I need to know what they used for batter because it was eye opening. The brisket was the star of the show, but the bbq sauce and chipotle can t be ignored. We are coming back for the platter.

Ive had two regular bbq go-to spots that have recently declined in quality and raised prices above what Im comfortable spending. Im very happy to have found Cowboys grill. Great food, friendly service and a good price for what you get. The smokers plate was a great way to try a little of everything. Would highly recommend and will definitely return. The homemade donuts were a trip down memory lane, tasted just like a local shop we used to go to when I was a kid.

My wife and I dropped by with no expectation. The owner/Sean was really friendly. We ordered a smoked Beef Brisket Sandwich and Ribs. One word...Am...mazing!. The Brisket was melting in the mouth and not chewy at all well down. The Ribs was fantastic too. I dont say much! You must try it yourself. I obsoletely recommend it. I am confident other items on the menu will be good too.! Cant wait to go back with my friends again!

It was our first time at this magnificent restaurant. We ordered the all meat platter and oh my, oh my. It was an explosion of flavours embedded in great meats and chicken wings. The attention of the owner was delightful. Definitely you must try it. The prices are affordable. We spent around $100.00 including tips for two people.

The brisket is just out of the world amazing. The service is unbeatable, you don t get the service you get here anywhere now in days. The cheesecake is not like other cheesecake, less sweet and so savoury. Love this place, happy its close to home.

I had the most amazing beef brisket sandwich. The restaurant I went to had a really cool atmosphere that made my meal even better. Plus, the owner was super friendly and welcoming.

Tried this place via uber eats, Great brisket sandwich that arrived still warm, had the right amount of fat, very juicy, perfectly cooked, on a nice chewy bun (their sauce is delicious btw). A fried pickle on the side was a nice surprise and very good also! Ill definitely go in to try this place in person, i enjoyed my meal, Thanks!

Hubby & I went here for dinner Friday night. Finally a BBQ joint close to home. Sean the owner was amazing, he answered all questions about the menu items. I am a die hard brisket fan....Sean gets top marks for his brisket & presentation. Fat to meat ratio was just perfect and melt in your mouth. The fries were hot & crisp. Hubby had a sandwich which he devoured and did not even offer me a taste. During our after dinner conversation with Sean we found out he worked in Vienna and told us his Schnitzel is amazing and he will also be opening for breakfast with the focus on egg & croissant sandwiches (cant wait to try). We will be back!!!

Cowboy Grill has been open for almost 2years. As soon as we walked in the door we were welcomed by Sean, Who promised us a great meal . It really was great! We had the Ribs and Brisket Dinner. Usually I cannot eat a whole dinner but I easily ate the whole thing. The meat is fall off the bone melt in your mouth Tender. Fries are soooo good. The prices are great. Good for pick up or stay in. The place looks very cool. Highly recommend. Fries and brisket, ***save some room for the Warm chocolate donuts and delish coffee

Cowboy Grill had recently catered a breakfast my property management hosted for tenants, that was so fresh and delicious I had to order more. We ordered for delivery: the smoker plate and beef brisket sandwiches and fried calamari so delicious, highly recommend.. my next order will definitely be dine in! The donuts look delectable
