I went to this place after seeing reviews. The burrito I ordered was quite tasty except that it was full of leafy greens and full of liquids which I believe was some salad dressing and sour cream but that was enough to mess up my experience. The chicken didnt taste very fresh and way too much leafy greens inside. I was okay but not something I would crave.

Was in the area and decided to check it out. Definitely will be back! Had the chorizo and steak tacos and the barbacoa quesadilla. All were delicious and tasted so fresh!

Ok, so I found this place by chance. I noticed a few people sitting outside eating tacos and I thought, let me try. I was blown away. They were made fresh, and quick. The meat was tenter and full of flavour. The woman who took my order behind the counter was very sweet. She was concerned the habanero may be too spice for me. It was spicy, but I like things very spice. I ordered 4 different tacos and when I was finished I ordered 2 more. They were sooo good!! I will definitely be going back with friends and alone lol

Expected authentic Mexican flavour but I found it to be worse than the usual Mexican chains like Bar Burrito, Fat Bastard etc. Maybe I have high standards for mexican food after having lived in Southern California for sometime, however even a person with no idea what the real deal is would find this place underwhelming. The chicken burrito that I ordered here was very soggy and flavorless. The extra guac was so so sour. Even the chicken was nothing to write home about- shredded and flavour less. I ordered spicy sauce which was not at all spicy- it was really mild and flavourless. At the price I really don t think the food here is worth it. In fact a chain store like Chipotle would be a tastier and more affordable option. I also got a Tres Leches cake which was nothing more than a grocery store vanilla sponge cake doused with evaporated milk. It was not at all like an authentic Tres Leches. Only positive is the place has cute decor and the people working are there friendly. Don t be fooled by other glowing reviews on here(like I was). Save your money and appetite.

As a Salvadoran lady living in Toronto and tried so many Mexican restaurants I am confident to recommend this amazing gem in North York. I always appreciate people who cooks with so much love, their food is completely worth every penny you ll pay for. Thank you guys for your amazing, delicious and Glorious food, this multicultural family love to share every weekend with Enchilados Taquería.

I was visiting Toronto looking for an option to eat with my husband, we found this taqueria and everything we tried was delicious, I must mention that the chorizo tacos were the best, also the carnitas ones, the bathrooms were clean and the staff was very friendly, We definitely have to return, highly recommended

It is my favorite taqueria here in Toronto, I have not tried other tacos that are more delicious and remind me of my beautiful Mexico like these from Enchilados. The carnitas and pastor ones are my favorites. The service is excellent. They always take good care of you, they are very attentive and respectful, they always check if you need something. The environment is calm, clean and always smells delicious. The meat is fresh, it has very good quality. The tacos are very well made, the tortilla is golden but soft and they prevent them from breaking like in many other taquerias where you end up eating the taco in pieces. I love these tacos! And its fresh waters.

The tacos are amazing. Fresh tortillas and fresh ingredients. Started with 3 tacos and had to have 3 more. Everyone is so friendly and the service is just so amazing.

I always struggle to find authentic and tasty Mexican in the area but this place was delicious. The pastor and chorizo were particularly flavourful, same with the hot sauces. And a great selection of palettas! We will be back.

5/5 Taco al pastor. Its one of my favorites in Toronto and reminds me of the ones in Mexico City. The caramelized pineapple slice is great. Delicious! 3.5/5 Steamed tacos with potato filling. The other fillings arent my favorite. 5/5 Service. Portion size is small, and the chipotle and tomato-based salsas are okay, nothing outstanding - have had had better elsewhere. Overall rating: 3.8/5

Everything delicious buuuut for the love of God!!! They put no sauce on it, cover it separately but put it well. I ordered 7 tacos and they gave me LITERALLY 3 tablespoons of salsa. I crossed it out there!!!

Everything is excellent!!! The delicious food, the tacos 100% the flavor of Mexico the tortillas have such a delicious flavor, they put a special sauce on them that uufff deli deli and the exquisite desserts too (there are flans, chocoflanes, tres leches...) I RECOMMEND!!!

Discovered this spot when I moved into the area and its everything. Their chicken quesadillas and chicken burritos are my go-to. Just so well seasoned and delicious over all. Amazing service! Edit: the barbacos taquitos & Al Pastor are also delicious!

Best Mexican burritos in Toronto. Family owned

This taquería offers the best authentic Tacos Al Pastor in Toronto. The homemade salsa that comes with tacos is really good too and all the ingredients are good quality. Real Mexican food is hard to find but this restaurant has it all. Even the Rice drink is good.

Ive eaten here about 5 or 6 times in the last two months. I have attempted to eat everything on the menu because i wanted to taste all the different tacos. EVERYTHING ON THIS MENU IS REALLY REALLY GOOD!! All tacos = amazing All Burritos = amazing The Best Taco is Taco Pastor. That pineapple its beautiful. Vegetarian options: They have veggie options. Look at the bottom of the menu Parking: Small taco shop. Has about 8 parking spots but they are always busy.

If youre in the area and you dont go here for burritos, youre wrong about the decisions youve made in your life. Go here, get the burritos, add the chipotle sauce and start making better life decisions starting from that moment. Its not too late.

The chips and Guacamole is great. They are crispy, salted appropriate and the Guacamole is a refreshing taste. Dont get the steamed tacos if you arent going to eat them right at the restaurant. I took it to go, and in the 15 minute commute back home, the integrity of the tortilla fell apart and these were a wet mess that ripped as soon as you tried to pick them up. I will try this place again in future and adjust my ratings accordingly, cause the meat and cabbage of the Tacos were nice. My gf and I liked the filling, but the soggy tortilla was off putting.

Just came back from Mexico couple of weeks ago. After eating two tacos and quesadillas I felt like Im back in Mexico! Food was awesome with friendly service and authentic atmosphere. Ill definitely will be back more.

I don t think I ve ever left a 5 star review until now. Hands down the best tacos I ve ever had. I ve never had a steak taco so tender and juicy. Delicious flavours and they were generous with the meat portions. The pastor paired amazingly with that chipotle salsa. I got salsa on my shirt and I m not even mad. The Jamaica was delicious, all it needs is a styrofoam cup with some ice.

Service is awesome, friendly people. Clean place. Welcoming people. Excellent food. Vegetarian options: Mushrooms quesadillas are really good.

What a gem of a place!!! Can t get authentic tacos like these downtown. We were shopping in the Castlefield design district and found this by happy accident. We will be back!

Hidden gem on a busy street! This place is tucked away Keele and Eglinton, just before the main intersection at Trethewey and Eglinton. As soon as you walk in you are hit with some deliciousness that fills the air. The food is incredible! The achiote chicken tacos are phenomenal and the OG pastor tacos are delicious! The staff there is super friendly and fun, definitely recommend going here!!

I had placed an order through Uber Eats, tacos el pastor and carnita along with a side order of guac and chip. The el pastor was well seasoned very delicious, the guac and chips were also a good call, the chips were nicely salted and the oil they were fried in was clean there was no aftertaste and that is a good sign that they take care in their food prep there is nothing worse than having food that tastes like overused oil. My only critique and disappointment was that my salsas did not make it into the order. Everyone knows that these are an extention of the taco themselves, this oversight really hindered the overall food experience as the salsas are everything but at least i got my limes. I will definitely reconsider ordering from here again and hope that the next time they get everything in the bag.

Very decent!! Better than in Vancouver! The habanero sauce, spicy and with good flavor as it should be! Corn tortilla that doesnt feel like a bag, and has good flavor in general! The chorizo the new addition did not disappoint. If you are a fan of Las carnitas... dont expect much but they are enjoyable.

First time trying them on Uber eats. It was very delicious and satisfying. I had their chips and guac with a chicken quesadilla and their choco flan dessert. Guac was great light and refreshing. The chips were nice and salty good texture and the quesadilla was bomb. I love their spicy chipotle sauce; flavor and depth was great!!!!!!! Cant wait to order again. Thank you !!

I recently tried this taco place, and I have to say it was a delightful experience. The pastor tacos were bursting with flavor, and the beef quesadilla was equally delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the seasoning was spot on. The service was friendly and efficient. If youre looking for authentic and mouthwatering Mexican cuisine, this place is a must-visit. I cant wait to go back for more!

Tiny tacos, dont fall for the cheap price as they are literally half the size of other place. Flavour was lacking personally especially the chicken. I couldnt taste anything and has to add the sauces to really taste anything. Could be a one off day but its a skip for me.

Edit: I tried again this place and the sauces are now great, especially the habanero sauce. Coupled with great meat, now it is a proper Mexican taco place. Pricey tacos. Too much onion and herbs on the pastor tacos, should be served on the side as done in Mexico to be really authentic. Sauces are not as hot as expected, there should be at least one hot option. Sauces are also not that tasty, and the chipotle one tastes like served from the can. One good thing they have going is that the pastor meat flavour is really good, one of the best in Toronto. Also served with pineapple which adds authenticity to the pastor tacos.

I arrived as soon as it opened and had 3 delicious tacos and a Jamaica which is basically sorrel without ginger or fermentation. I would come back and try everything else on the menu. The hottest hot sauce was perfect. Good balance of flavour and fire. Worth the visit if you are in the area but its made to order so be sure to have at least 10 minutes to wait. Street parking is right in front as well as on Eglinton but getting a spot may be tricky.

Tried 4 of the traditional tacos, and was a bit underwhelmed. The barbacoa and chorizo tacos were well done and packed with flavour. However, the steak (carne asada) and al pastor tacos left much to be desired - the steak was bland and dry, and the pineapple on the al pastor taco was 1 large piece of pineapple instead of chopped bits. They should also serve more than a quarter lemon for 4 tacos. Their horchata was actually quite good and definitely recommend it. They don t have many seats for dine in (max 5) since it s a small place, so be ready to either wait for a spot or take your food home.

This place never disappoints. Food is delicious, homemade, and authentic. Its a very small shop with just a few seating spots but I love to come here for lunch or dinner. The prices are affordable the food is amazing quality. I loved the pork in salsa verde and the tacos al pastor. Make sure to get a hibiscus juice its super refreshing and tasty. They got traditional paletas which are great too but even tho they are a bit expensive for a paleta. Vegetarian options: mostly bean and veggies options Parking: very convenient in front of the shop.

Tacos and nachos are sooooo good!!

If your ever in this area, this Mexican place is a must-try for their tacos and only their tacos! There are a variety of selection of proteins to go in you taco. They also serve 3 more premium tacos as well. If your not feeling tacos, they also have quesadillas and burritos to choose from. I got the de barbacoa, al pastor and pulled pork, along with a adobo pork burrito. We went late before closing and there were no orders ahead of us and we needed to wait 15-20 mins for my order. Was disappointing the wait when theres no other order in house. The flavors of the tacos were flavorful, each bite was juicy and you just want to go at it for another bite. However, the burrito was very disappointing. It was large in size, definitely did not cheap out on the rice and beans. But there was no flavor, no seasoning. It felt I was eating pulled pork with plain rice and tasteless beans. It was super disappointing especially after eating the tacos. Would recommend TACOS not anything else !!

Wanted to try this place for a very long time and regret i did not sooner. Have to say that I am very impressed by this small resturant. The tacos were absolutely delicious. Ive tried other spots before but this place is worth its money. I got a few items on the menu, my most favourite was their Carnitas and Pastor tacos. They were full of flavour and alot of juicy meat. I will definitely be back.

Small place thats easy to miss if youre not looking for it. I went there because of the reviews. Ordered three steamed soft tacos, two beef and one fried pork skin. They were amazing! The pork skin was very rich, tender and tasty but I dont think I could have eaten more than one. Not much dine in space. They have a bench with three stools. Ordering ahead and take out seemed to be what everyone was doing. Wish I lived closer I would be going there often!

Oh my God! Who gave this place 5 stars ??? I am looking for an option to give stars in negative. I have never been disappointed this much before. Not because the food was bad, which it was, but I had bad food before. Its all he great reviews that threw me off. I had such high expectations. There were practically no veggie or vegan options and the veg tacos I ordered , they literally put only ingredient in there, mushrooms, nothing else!!!!! Their sauces are a disgrace. And adding guac did not help. They were out of chips. After spending like $15 I left hungry, we had to stop and find another restaurant to eat in after visiting this place

I don t understand why this place has so many good reviews they have to be fake. I got the al pastor and one carnitas. The carnitas were extremely dry I couldn t even eat them and they don t put any kind of sauce on the side or salsa like most traditional places. The $5 guacamole is a tiny cup that has to be like a quarter of an avocado. The al pastor was ok because of the pineapple but still so so dry. I am extremely underwhelmed and almost upset at this experience.

Honestly it was ok, it needed more seasoning, they give a very small amount of gauc. The tacos were small and the waiting time was long. The barbacoa and steak tacos taste plain.

A local hidden gem for delicious tacos. Never had steamed tacos until I came across Enchilados Taqueria. It was interesting as it was a lot of softer than even a soft tortilla but definitely a unique item to try on the menu. Personally, I just don t know if that s my vibe. I did thoroughly enjoy the traditional tacos! The meat was soft, tender and flavourful. A total hidden gem and one of the best taco spots in the neighbourhood. However, there are no real seats and dining area. There s a small area for two by the windows but that s about it. This is definitely more of a takeout spot. On the menu, I highly recommend trying the steak and al pastor tacos. The grilled pineapple on top of the al pastor was perfection.

No matter how good is the place, it doesn t mean anything if they don t open the store on time. Looks like they don t care about lunch time at all, it say that opening time is 12 PM but every time i went to try the food, it was never opened. Always putting a notice on door that opening at 1 PM, what s the point of good and pricy food if you are not punctual.

Also, I noticed that the only 4 star reviews were because the salsa container wasnt big enough? and that they didnt have a lot of seats in the small take out restaurant?? What? Judged solely on food quality, temperature, vibe and absolutely lovely people - this place is 5 stars +++ all day long. Just sayin.

This review is for catering purposes: I used their services for a party for about 50 people for a 3 course meal. Words cannot explain just how amazing their team is and how delicious the food was. If you need catering for any party, this is the place. Our event was semi-formal and their professionalism was incredible. All our guests couldnt stop raving about how amazing the food was - especially the nacho bar, quesadillas, burritos and tacos.

My personal favorite Mexican place in the neighborhood. Owners are so nice. And their hot salsas are perfection. I always order potato tacos and taco Al pastor because they are personally my favorite go to. But Ive tried all of their other tacos and they are amazing as well. If you go over, go say hi. Delicious food! I had a few of the tacos and will definitely get them again! The staff was also very friendly and provided amazing service Dietary restrictions: They were very responsive and knowledgeable to answer all my questions! I messaged them prior to my visit to get an understanding of their gluten-free options, and their response was very thorough!

Not very good. Was not satisfied. Couldn t customize my order at all. The people working inside don t even know like 5 words in english. Was not even that good biting into and did not even finish. Avoid this place if you like good tacos

Incredible tacos! The pastor are my favourite, but the flavour for all are just great. Guac and chips are also a must
