The shrimp taco was delicious and very fresh, and the chicken taco was loaded with massive fried chicken chunks. Great portions, great price - and they do have daily specials as well! Tried their best seller - Saigon Fried Chicken Taco & Fried Fish Bites! It takes some time as its made to order. The taco was massive and contained 2 large pieces of buttermilk fried chicken coated with saigon sweet chili sauce, garlic creama, creamy slaw, lettuce, carrots & daikon. The taco shell was like a asian onion pancake ( hold the onions) and was so unique to see and eat in this combination. A beautiful marriage of texture and flavour. I would probably eat with a knife and folk next time bc I had a hard time keeping it all contained within the taco. Thats okay though bc I love lots of food! The fried fish bites were lightly dusted fried fish nuggets topped with sriracha crema, citrus purple slaw, cucumbers & parsley. Also tried the Carne Asasa Fries which were so good! Fries were topped with Ribeye Steak cubes/ Ancho Crema / LVT Crema / Avocado Salsa / Pico de Gallo / Scallions! You gotta eat here! They have a successful catering business and are quite busy with food truck events!

Food is made fresh , not pre-made and cooked when ordered (you can taste the diffrence). Delicious sauce of savory, sweet and spicy.

I can t believe we paid $20 for ONE taco at the CNE and it was NOT what we wanted off their menu. Tell me how they put numbers 1-4 or 1-5 for their tacos as well as their fries. Here s a tip: make it 1 to 10 etc to avoid any confusion. The lady claimed she confirmed our order with us but no one heard her. Maybe speak louder and clearer next time A good running business would offer you to pay the difference and to re-make the item you actually wanted. I liked their food when we tried it at the food fest last year but now it s gotten so ridiculously overpriced and their customer service is terrible. I will never support this business again.

Ive only had the food truck version twice, but this place is incredible. From fresh ingredients to excellent combination of fusion mexican and Vietnamese flavours. I tried the fries supreme, and fish tacos, which were really good. I like the fresh scallions and garlic, the Pico de Gallo, the freshly fried fish and it had a great crisp/crunch. The fries supreme was so fresh and piping hot and we tried the pulled pork with cumin flavour with Pico de Gallo as well and fresh sour cream which was delicious. Highly recommended

Poor service very slow to make order and not good

I ve eaten out of their food truck and they have a ton of amazing options. Something for everyone here and in huge quantities. I really like their tortilla they use which is more like a Malaysian roti

I had the Saigon Fried Chicken and Mexicana Fries and words cannot describe how good it was! It is the perfect blend of Vietnamese and Mexican food. Whether youre celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a fantastic meal, I cannot recommend Los Vietnamita highly enough. Trust me, you wont be disappointed!

I love Los Vietnamita! They blend Vietnamese and Mexican food beautifully together! The flavors are amazing, and the dishes are so tasty (especially their Saigon Fried Chicken!). The staff are extremely nice and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend Los Vietnamita to everybody!

Ive almost tried everything on the menu at this point and it is Awesome.

Everyone NEED to know about this place, why is it so underrated?? Saigon Fried Chicken Taco: where has it been my whole life? Sauce is the star, crispy chicken and cole slaw go so well together. Nem nuong banh mi Taco: huge piece of pork sausage, combination of avocado salsa and hoisin sauce is such a creative idea. Crispy Fish Taco: not bad but compared to others its not stand out. Mexicano Beef Egg Roll: very tasty snack, love the filling. Saigon Chicken Fried Bites: Im in love with the taco version of this so I got extra chickens, Id love it has more lettuce and a little less sauce. But flavor is on spot.

Really flavorful and delicious

This was such a mind blowing experience and tasting the flavors of both cuisines meld together created a perfect harmony. One was not overpowering the other, but they worked together beautifully creating a symphony of explosive flavors scintillating on my tongue. For others coming across this restaurant for the very first time try their al pastor fries, trust me, you won t be disappointed! We will be coming back to try the tacos and the carne asada fries next time!

I get that people with small businesses are just trying to make an honest living. Ive worked in the industry before so I totally get the grind. Few days ago I was searching for food to try and I came across Los Vietnamita, a Vietnamese Mexican Fusion....Whattt!!! I saw the number of reviews with 5 stars despite one or two reviews with 1 star that didnt make any sense, they were just probably having a bad day or have no perception or knowledge about food. Anyhow, I decided to make the trip to their store from Mississauga yesterday and let me tell you, when you first walk into the the restaurant it looks amazing with an urban street vibe, youll get it if you have read up about them. Upon walking in, you can also see the open kitchen and it was probably one of the cleanest kitchen I have ever seen! The menu was very interesting with many options to choose from. They have Banh Mi Tacos, Fries Supremes, Sammies, Rice Boxes and Snacks. I didnt event know what to try! The very friendly gentleman at the front was very helpful in providing me with recommendations. Service here was seriously top notch for a takeout shop. I decided to try the Banh Mi tacos accompanying it with a few combo fries supremes as it was highly recommended. I ordered the Saigon Fried Chicken, Crispy Fish, Carne Asada, Firecracker Shrimp and the Shaking Beef - Combo with Mexicano Fries, Carne Asada, and Al Pastor Fries. WELL LET ME TELL YOU THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Money well spent to be satisfied! Everything was fresh and so mouthwatering flavorful, every item had its unique flavor, touch and cooked to perfection. And OMG the Fries were something else, its nothing Ive ever seen or had before. I just cant pinpoint which is my favorite but to say that they were all exceptionally above amazing. You just have to try it for yourself. Parking: Ample parking at the back of plaza. You can park on the street and infron of the store.

Having tried their food truck, I decided to try out their store on OConnor. We ordered two bowls, one pork belly and one fish bites. The food was top notch! Creative concept, big flavours and attention to detail. The sambal was home made, the nuoc cham was extra garlicky and the pork belly was tender perfection. They really pull off this seemingly odd combo of cuisines in every bite. For a take out spot, the food took a little while to come out but I can guarantee no time was wasted back there. Minor feedback would be that it would be nice to have seating for kids. Ill still be back soon.

Large fish taco filled me up! No need for fries.

Wow I had to stop eating to write this review! The ratings are not lying the food here is amazing! I got the fish taco and carne asada fries. The fish taco is a huge filet and the toppings are fresh and crunchy! The « taco » is like a naan bread it s great! The fries omgsh perfect! Ordered on Uber and my food was still hot, definitely a 10/10 will visit in person!

I cannot speak highly enough of this place. It is the best fusion food Ive eaten in my life! Had them at a food truck festival over the summer and made the hour+ drive to try in store yesterday. I had the pleasure of dining at LV during their soft opening and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, making great recommendations for both food and drink. But most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious. I started with the Saigon fried chicken Taco, which was expertly prepared and full of flavor. Then moved on to Grill Lemongrass chicken rice box and it was cooked to perfection. The portion size was generous and it was one of the best dishes Ive had in a long time, which was a perfect ending to a fantastic meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

A new Vietnamese and Mexican fusion restaurant. From a food truck to their very own brick & mortar, they got some amazing menu items you gotta try! The space is very clean and decked out with a black & white decor, with a mix of modern and urban. Simplicity from the tables and counter, and the walls are filled with grafitti artwork, tags and phrases. Their BANH MI TACOS are huge! The Saigon fried chicken and crispy fish are amazing. Freshly fried and topped with fresh veggies. The RICE BOXES have something for everyone from braised pork belly to carne asada served w rice and their Mexican beef egg roll! Really good on its own. Their FRIES SUPREMES are fully loaded and are meals on their own. Great spot to experience something new and delicious!

Tried their pork belly rice and crispy fish taco. Even though we went there right before closing, the quality of food was amazing. This place doesnt really have dining in place so you would do takeout. Definitely would recommend this place to people even if you dont know anything about Vietnamese style food. Price, portion size, food quality, flavour, all in one package!

Went on the evening of their grand opening. Already loved their food from their food truck, but it was usually too far away to frequent and now they are only a few minutes away! So excited. If you haven t tried Los Vietnamita Taqueria, you need to add it to your list of places to try this year. I ve been to a lot of restaurants in the past, but this has to be in my top 10. Service is amazing, quick and friendly. The restaurant is clean with a great interior. This spot is mainly a takeout joint with two tables you can use to eat your food while standing. The combined flavours are absolutely delicious. The ingredients are top quality. Definitely a place I m going to frequent. Make sure you try the made in house hot sauce.

The food is amazing! They pull off the Asian/Mexican food combo perfectly. We had the Al Pastor and Crispy Fish Banh Mi Tacos, and the Crispy Fish Bites. They were freshly prepared with fresh, high quality toppings.

Amazing! Went here with my friend yesterday and the tacos were really fresh. We got the Saigon Fried Chicken taco and the fish taco (the two that won prizes) with the Carne Asada combo upgrade. Price is per taco, which may seem like a lot, but you do get a very sizeable taco. One was plenty filling. The cashier was super helpful and nice, and the food came out quick. Definitely plan on coming back! Note that this is not a sit-down place. If you re okay to stand at the tables to eat, then all is good, otherwise you probably want to grab it to go.

First time going here and absolutely loved it! We got the Saigon Fried Chicken tacos and the Crispy Fish tacos (owner said these are the top sellers), on top of that we also got the Carne Asada Fried and the Churros. Everything was delicious. Location isnt bad and theres ample parking in the back which is nice for that area. Price is also reasonable, we got full off the one taco but its huge, so I think its worth it.

Best fries supreme I ve ever had!

OMG this is good! We had no idea what to expect, but we re so glad we tried it. One thing we did expect was to dine in, but this is really a take-out place with only two stand-up tables and no chairs. Still, the food was so good we didn t care one bit. Portions are generous and beautifully presented in take-out containers. The fried fish was magnificent maybe not what you d expect, it s not big chunks of fish with batter; it reminded me of the old Howard Johnson s fried clams, more like crispy strips of deliciously fish-flavor batter. Carne asada and French fries was amazing; tender beef chunks (not over cooked!) on fries that reminded me of the great fries in Montreal. Pork belly on a brioche reminded me of Momofuku. Yum! And the fried chicken taco was a serious piece of crispy fried chicken (not over cooked!) on an amazing taco with all the fixings. My son has experience as a head chef and he is convinced these people have some serious restaurant experience under their belts. Kudos!

What a great fusion concept! The banh mi tacos felt and looked like a taco, but not quite! The Vietnamese flavors were there with the fresh pickled veggies, garnishes etc. I loved that the shell was pastry made and house made. Definitely pair your tacos with their house made hot sauce, it had a great tangy kick. The mexicano fries were slightly sweet with the sambal crema and it was super loaded. Amazing! I really appreciated the marriage of these 2 types of cuisines because it just worked so well together. The churros were stubby and filled with caramel and chocolate. The exterior of the churro tasted very familiar like from the churro stands I would get at the flea market in San Jose. It was super nostalgic. It was doughy and fluffy! Honestly, only great things to say about this place. They did used to be a taco truck and now have their own establishment. Im definitely coming back!

Delicious food and friendly staff! Ive come here multiple times and my go-to favourite is the Saigon fried chicken banh mi taco. Also enjoy their boxes and fries options. Recommend their housemade hot sauce as well. No seating to eat there, but I often eat the taco standing up at their tables - it doesnt travel too well if you have a long way to go for take out!

This place is the best food i ve ever had. The balance of the flavours was amazing. I know i ll be coming back to try other things on the menu. I kid you not! My first bite I was speechless. I had the Saigon fried chicken taco and my girlfriend had the Crispy fish taco, and we shared Carne asada fries, it was the tastiest food I ve have for a while. I didn t think anything of it when i was told about a Vietnamese Mexican fusion spot. i like Viet food, I like Mexican food but together I was kind of skeptical. That was until I had my first bite, sensational. I met Kevin and i think his name was Gio, great guys. Learned about how LV was started and that they had just recently opened up their St Clair location. From a tent, to doing festivals, to a food truck. You can tell they re really passionate about food. I m glad I found a new spot to show my friends, and i highly recommend for anyone looking for something to eat

Ordered the crispy chicken and al pastor tacos and they were both visually appealing and packed with flavour. I enjoyed chicken taco a little bit more. The toppings were fresh and added great flavor. The hot sauce was good and just the right amount of heat. The restaurant is tucked away on the corner of st Clair and OConnor and worth the visit. Amazing twist on a taco! The wrap is really yummy, similar to our East African chapati if not the exact same thing; holds the meat, flavours and toppings very well anything thinner wouldn t do! The pepper provided complimented each taco so nicely! (I could of done with slightly less toppings but thank you for being so generous!) Tried the beef and fried chicken taco, both were equally yummy to me! Can t wait to try different items on the menu! Thank you!

What a great choice this was! My fiance and I were first introduced to Los Vietnamita Taqueria when they were at the Celebration Square event in Mississauga and always wanted to try it again. Yesterday we made the trip to their location and we got a friendly welcome from one of their staff that was very attentive and made our experience great. We had the Crispy Fish Taco, Mexicano Fries and Saigon Chicken Bites rice box. What a tornado of flavours that left us fully satisfied and leaving this place as a favourite in our food books. Thank you for the great customer service, food and keep up the great work!

The fish taco is delicious. Perfectly balanced, so satisfying. Ideally sized for one person with a medium appetite. Finally, I have a favourite food in my neighborhood!

Love all the Rice Boxs, especially the Al Pastor and Grilled Lemongrass Chicken.

What a meal! If you like Vietnamese cuisine with a touch of Mexican influence, this is the place for you. It offers flavorful dishes with generous portions at a fair price. Go before everyone knows about this humble establishment. (I heard they started as a food truck.)

The Saigon Taco was the best taco I ever had. As a person with a substantial appetite, just one taco filled me comfortably.

Delicious taco spot with a Vietnamese/Asian twist. The fillings were generous and flavours were great. We really enjoyed the Saigon Fried Chicken perfectly crispy with a nice kick. A couple minor complaints: 1. There s only bar height tables so it s not ideal if you have kids. Understandably it s a small space but it d be nice to have some outdoor tables for the spring/summer. 2. It d be great if they had a sink available for customers to wash hands. (There are no public washrooms.) The food is great, but it can get messy!

Incredibly delicious food and unique flavours. The pork belly was so tender and the taco egg roll was to die for. Definitely check them out so they ll be here for years to come!

The food is delicious! The flavours are on point. We had the braised pork belly sammie and Chipotle Honey butter fried chicken sammie and both were just the best Ive had around town. Hands down. We also got the Carne Asada Fries supreme large portion, which was just gluttony at that point but so delish, even heated up left overs in the air fryer next day. Coming back to try more! Thanks guys, keep it going! Only thing.. if you offered some seating or bar stools that would be great so we can gobble up our food ..and maybe order more

Stopped by for a late lunch Saturday afternoon and boy, am I sure glad I did! Los Vietnamita specializes in Vietnamese-Mexican fusion cuisine. I ordered the Saigon chicken banh mi taco combo with mexicano fries. Both were so damn good I forgot to take a photo! Los Vietnamita, you ve stolen my heart! Can t wait to see you again soon!

Had both the chicken tacos (fried and lemon grass) and they were fantastic! Huge single taco so unfortunately you cant try multiple flavours, but I would definitely come back for some more. Great fusion of mexican concepts with Viet flavours.

Good food. Prepare to pay for it. But you ll be happy and full. Parking: Not much parking. But we got there early for lunch and we re able to park in fronton the street. The signs allow it for this one short section on the street. Kid-friendliness: Not. No chairs and only have bar height tables. So kids will have to eat outside in the front. We ate on the giant rocks where the flowers were

Late review but had Saigon fried chicken Rice box, Crispy fish and Carne Asada tacos a few weeks ago. Can never go wrong with fish tacos but the Carne Asada really tasty and stood out! The rice box includes the Mexicano beef egg roll and was so tasty!

2 words - simply irresistible. Having tried their food truck a year ago, we finally got to visit their store and we were not disappointed! We tried the shrimp, chicken and steak on tacos plus loaded fries, and ended with the churros. Amazing taste and friendly service!

The Saigon chicken taco 17/10 nothing on the menu ever comes close to it. Poor service, always closed. Very unreliable. They just opened after being closed for 35 days and now they re closed again. Hire some more workers if you re going to work in a food truck during events while the shop stays closed. Very unprofessional

While its true that their storefronts locations hours arent consistent right now, Los Vietnamita has made it so easy to follow where they will be located throughout the food truck season on their social media! My roommate and I tried them for the first time at a night market in Markham and were blown away at the delicious high quality food! We made sure to keep a track of when their storefront was open for a few days to get in a visit (I would recommend turning on post notifications on instagram!). We placed a way bigger ($150+) takeout order on a Saturday that they were still able to accommodate last minute. Everything we ordered was perfect! The staff were also so kind! I really appreciate how transparent this business has been about navigating their primary food truck business and their storefront location. It can make it a little tough plan to visits this time of year but it makes it extra special when you can get your hands on their incredible food!

My favourites taco place

This is a Food Truck and catering 1st place. Stay tuned to their social media posts on when the store is open. I have only ordered from the store as it is easier for myself and the family. The service and food is at a top shelf level. I can not express how good and fantastic the food is. We have tried almost everything on the menu and there is never a disappointment. We have recommended this to our friends, family, strangers, enemies you name it...it is that DAMN good!

Great food .. so different

Everything I had was so fresh and tasty. By far one of the busiest food trucks at my event. If you haven t tried yet, you re missing out I strongly recommend the fish tacos!

They are near by found on a walk it has been closed I guess for food truck season went to the weekend food festival the line up was unreal. Worth the wait

I used to obsessed with this place but I recently tried it from the food truck and the prices are not reasonable honestly they are ridiculous. $38 for two tacos?! The quality of food has gone way down too. Its too big of a taco to manage that you cant get all the components in your mouth like a regular taco. I dont want to have to cut my taco. They used to be good, regular sized tacos for $12. Their fried chicken burger is not good either. Super disappointed. Waited for this place for over a year.

Kevin and his team catered our wedding in July and it was just outstanding. Kevin was there to answer my questions every step of the way and provided us with everything we were hoping for. His prices are extremely reasonable but the thing that speaks for itself and hard to put into words is the food. LOS VIETNAMITA TAQUERIA is by far our favourite. Their food is fresh, explosion of flavours, and top-notch cuisine. My husband and I would highly recommend- especially their loaded fries and fried chicken taco. 5+ star.

Los vietnamita is no joke. Starting off as a food truck turned into a full blown full service restaurant, theres a reason why their tacos are consistently being ranked as some of the best tacos in Toronto. Although slightly further out of the city, it is well worth the trek to try any of their tacos, any of their sandos, any of their fries, or anything else on their menu. No one does it like Los Vietnamita.. no other food truck comes close. They are hands down my all time favorite Food truck. They are literally one of the reasons Im always excited for summer.. koz summer equals ... food truck season. Makes this foodie very happy.. Lol. Every single item on their menus yummy goodness! .. year after year I literally go to almost all their food truck stops. The shaking beef taco... new on their menu.. really good ..the beef very tender. The Og Saigon taco and Carne Asada fries my fave. Do yourself a foodie favor and make sure you give them a try if you ever see them around. No regrets. Their slogan.. a bite and uld be hooked.. they really arent kidding ... hahahha

I found the food to be good if not great, small portions and overpriced for what it was. Maybe I didn t have the experience most people have here since most of the reviews are very positive. I ll have to try it again.

We tried the LVT chicken sammie, al pastor taco, crispy fish taco, Saigon chicken bites, and carne asada fries (combo size). Everything was delicious! They also have a great selection of Jarritos flavours.

No words to describe this amazing fusion joint. Very unique food and it is so good! Everything on the menu is delicious and trust me, my family and friends have all raved about this place and we just can t get enough. The staff are also super nice and the vibe is just such a cool place. Do yourself a favour and go eat here!
