Poutines are absolutely amazing! I m pretty sure my family travels down here just for the poutine and visiting me is an added bonus. Really appreciate the awesome service and Chris goes above and beyond to make his customers feel welcome and taken care of.

We Went to music bingo tonight at Joe Beavers! It was a blast and the food was amazing. Our waitress was Shea, she went above and beyond to keep the kiddos entertained when bingo was starting to get boring! She offered to bring them markers and pictures to colour! We will definitely be going back.

Just stopped by for drinks and to check the menu for the next day. I will definitely be going back for dinner. Great service from Shea. This was my 5th night in Canada and Shea was by far the friendliest waitress I have had.

This place is amazing! Gluten Free options have a great selection and the GF buns are homemade and delicious. TV screens with all sports. Service is wonderful. Absolutely a five star!!!! Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options are safe and delicious.

If you are in Yorkton, you have to stop here. Excellent bevvies and the poutine is amazing. Great servers too (Jenn and Hanna) and the other host who wears the nice shirts! We will be back for sure the next time we are in Yorkton. And go when there is a Rider game because they have fun contests happening during the game.

Coming from Toronto to small town Yorkton, my partner and I didn t expect much, but could not have been more impressed. We only planned on staying for the poutine (recommended by hotel staff) but ended up staying (near to close lol) because of the bar man Chris. Polite, prompt and flat out fun

Guaranteed to never come back, couldnt buy a smile from any staff. Burger was burnt and dried out . Perogies were loaded for sure....loaded with pure oil. Buddy said the salad with no dressing was the best part of his steak meal.His steak was ordered medium rare and was presented more than well done. Wednesday is wing night and there were hardly any customers ; that itself tells the tale. Used to be pretty good here about 8 months ago. If you enjoy this place you better support it. It will be closed in less than a year.

I am a former Yorkton resident with our family business firmly rooted in the City s food culture. Now retired in Calgary; one of my many passions is reviewing the local dining scene in the Cow. My initial experience with Joe Beeverz was somewhat surprising. I had ordered the classic burger for $19 somewhat typical of metro centres and chicken wings for $18. The Suprise came with the bill. My burger with a $3 discount on Tuesdays was immediately nullified when I substituted the kettle chips for a Caesar salad. My 7-piece chicken wings were charged an additional $3 for a 2nd flavour. My total bill including tip was $48 representing severe sticker shock for what I got! It would have been nice for the waitress to have warned me about these extra charges. However, instead of withholding a tip punishing to wrong party I decided on this review. What happed is store policy invoked by the proprietors. This over pricing couple with nickel & diming will spell the death nell for this business if not corrected. My experience is that food venues survive more on reputation than good food. This behaviour is a direct shot at that reputation. Reply to owner: The mere fact that you are defensive and discounting my review means you are underestimating the discretion of the consumers of Yorkton at your peril. My issue isn t simply with your pricing but with your business practices. This point seems lost on you so carry on then.

My family and I had a great experience. We were served by the manager and he was incredibly friendly and even had my very shy granddaughter laughing. He was just so kind and even gave us a free dessert. The food is fun and yummy.

The food and friendly staff keeps me coming back as a regular here, especially for Tuesdays Music Bingo. The gluten-free options are delicious, including the house-made hamburger buns! The meals are very filling and things have always tasted great. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options available, including the option for a separate fryer for kettle chips.

Excellent service..surprisingly delicious .friendly service manager was very kind and friendly when we were having issues with our credit card. Never made us feel like we were dining and dashing happily our card ended up going through .will definitely return.

Great service and friendly staff

Food is great, especially the poutines and wings, and they have good specials on the wings. Service however, has taken a nosedive the last few times we ve been there. They show a clear bias to the larger tables and will completely ignore you if you re a couple, especially a younger one. Even more abhorrent is that the manager is the most guilty of this. For example, I had ordered the steak sandwich and my steak was way overcooked and chewy. I waited to get the servers attention to return it and just drink my beer instead, but he never came back. He continued however, to check in on the large family table right beside us the entire time, who by the way got their food first even though they came in after us, and could clearly see I wasn t touching the food. I decided whatever, I ll just eat it, I m starving. He finally came back once our plates and drinks were empty and asked how it was. I said it wasn t great and he would ve known that if he had checked in at all. He said oh, that doesn t sound good, and then he tried to make small talk as I paid.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. They ensure to meet all the dietary requirements of the guests. I was looking for vegetarian and sea food options. They helped me in ensuring that there is no cross contamination with other foods. One of the employees was dinning next to us. She told me that restaurant has beyond meet burger which was not on the menu card. So grateful for their help. Dietary restrictions: Beyond meat burger with fries.

I should have gotten our servers name tonight she was fantastic. Food is always good. The only thing I would say is the fry log used in the poutine needs to be cooked more in the center.

Food was average, but seemed expensive for burgers and such. Had the dill chicken burger with dill chips and dip. Was disappointed that the dill chips were mostly soft, and the dip was pretty generic tasting with some chopped pickles in it.

Original review: TL;DR good food, ask for no cheeze whiz in your Caesar... We moved to Langenburg this year, and have been to Joe Beeverz a few times when we go into Yorkton. The food is generally pretty good, with good specials and generous portions. The poutine base is good, the wings are crispy. We usually have the young man as our server, who runs around the restaurant at record speed lol. He is very polite. Last time we were there, however, has left us not wanting to go back. When we arrived, we werent noticed for a few minutes (thats totally fine, we werent in a rush), and a younger woman started serving us (after looking around for a bit, presumably for who was supposed to be serving our section). After she had taken our drinks AND FOOD, another server intercepted her and then came and introduced herself to us. We hadnt seen her before - she was slightly older than the others (maybe 30s?), thin with dark hair and glasses. When she said she would actually be our server it seemed passive aggressive toward the girl who had already started serving us. I understand that we were probably in her section, but we had been there ~20 mins at this point so I feel like the other server was covering her behind by taking our orders! When our food came, there was no topping on my Caesar (there is usually a pickle or celery or bacon) but they are not consistent with those so I thought nothing of it. I like their Caesars and was hungry. When our orders came, it seemed there had been a mix-up (I am guessing because of the 2 different servers) and my food was forgotten. Thats fine, I just started eating my partners wings. When my food did come, it was good and I was satisfied. The new waiter did not come and apologize for the food delay, but a man (I think a manager of some sort) did. The new waiter also did not come check on us for food and drink til we were almost done our meals. Up to this point, everything was fine. I wouldve just waved it off, no worries. When I was about 2/3 done my drink, I noticed that there was indeed a stick of celery, inside of my drink. I didnt think anything of it, just that whoever made it didnt understand the concept of a topping. Being a Caesar, it was opaque, and as you drink more (and the ice dilutes what is left) it becomes more see-through. As I got down to the last 1/4, I sipped up a slimy substance through my straw. Again, not one to complain, I thought it was just some clamato concentrate or something innocuous. However, I tilted the glass around and noticed more clumps at the bottom, and they appeared to be orangey-yellow. When the server finally came back, I was ready to pay and leave. I wasnt asking for anything comped or complaining at all, but my partner was examining my drink when she got there, as he was concerned. He politely asked what the yellow stuff at the bottom was, and she replied it mustve been cheeze whiz from the celery that was on top of the drink. Now, she was the one who brought us our drinks. She KNEW that there was no celery ON the drink when I got it, it was IN the drink. I realized the celery mustve fallen in while she was bringing it, and she didnt bother to tell me or do anything. Immediately after my partner asked about the cheeze whiz, she asked if we wanted it comped. I said sure if she could, still kind of shocked that she knew she had messed up my drink and hadnt done anything in the hour we were there. She went to ask a manager, came back, and we paid. When she looked at the tip on the receipt (which was only 10% as she was rude and inattentive to us, and I saw/heard her being rude to other servers), she started to berate us as we were trying to leave. Saying that we shouldve let her know about the drink issue earlier (I didnt notice it right away, and she didnt check on us until the end anyway).

It has been a few years since we visited last. We always enjoyed ourselves every time we stopped in, this time was no different.

We are a large group, hockey team, and manager was a little worried about the size however they did a great job and served great food. Definitely recommend the buffalo chicken poutine! And, vegetables were fresh. Thanks to the manager and weight persons that attended us, they did a great job! Had to wait a little while but we knew we would. Would definitely go back there when back this way.

We like Joe Beeverz and have visited several locations. The food was very good in Yorkton, but the service was definitely lacking. We were the only people in the establishment and it seemed like we were bothering our server, Hailey. Too bad. Not sure we will visit again.

My family stopped in for lunch last weekend. The food was great, highly recommend the burgers. Nothing tastes, quite like a freshly made smash burger. The service was also great and friendly.

Ive been here twice in the past couple of weeks. The service is unbelievably slow. At the first visit we were acknowledged fairly fast and drink orders were taken. We then waited an hour for food. Tables came in and left while waiting to be served. Another table made a complaint about the wait and stated that theyre not returning. On the plus side, food was delicious and serving sizes were decent. It was not overly busy. Coworkers and I stopped for a QUICK drink last night before a function and it took fifteen minutes to be acknowledged. We got our drinks and paid right away so we wouldnt have to wait again. There were maybe five tables in there. The other tables looked unimpressed as well. We wont be returning any time soon.

We had a beef poutine. It was awesome. We could only eat half, so had some to take home and heat up in the air fryer.

The service here has been far above par every time we come here. They are upfront with you if its busy, food takes longer. Food is above average. The provolone burger tops the charts for me, very well put together. The 204 burger was, interesting... With parodies, the sautéed onions and such it was quite soggy which Im not a fan of. Id suggest a firmer bun, maybe a pretzel bun, bit it was still a good burger. The manager always comes out to check on tables and make sure you have everything you need. Hes a bit of a d!ck, just kidding he said to say that. 10/10 will eat here again, every single time we are through!

Great place to relax.

We were in for a late lunch and it was pretty quiet. Took a while for the waitress to bring us menus and then took some time for her to take our order. Once we had the food it was very good. Chicken quesadilla and steak sandwich were both very good. Will go back but hopefully the service is a bit quicker.

Would not stop again. Husband ordered fish and chips waitress asked him what side would you want? He said coleslaw. So order came with no fries and two containers of coleslaw. So guess if you say fish and chips you still gave to ask for fries as a side??? Fish was over cooked.

It was quite good! At first I was worried there was only poutine and Im not a big fries person, but I ordered a type of steak beefdip and omg it was fantastic!! My friend had the fish and poutine, and said it was delicious! Definitely will keep going back.

We were driving through Yorkton last week and decided to give Joe Beeverz a try. The atmosphere was nice. The place was bustling. So much so the manager on that night was waiting tables as well as running the show. We ordered and got our food in a timely manner. The beer was great the fries we crispy! Went out with a few friends to Joe Beeverz not knowing what to expect. The manager, Sean, treated us like gold and really made our night. The drinks were great and the food was on point. 10 out of 10, would recommend!

The bruschetta was fantastic. My co-workers wings where great. The Whiskey BBQ was thick and not runny. I had 2 and thought I should order some. I ordered medium maple with a side of Beever sause. The sause wasnt nearly as good and the Whiskey BBQ was way better. The beever sause didnt do much for me either. The Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich didnt disappoint either. The service and food was kinda slow.

Our experience at Joe Beeverz was wonderful, in large part thanks to our server Katrina. She made helpful recommendations and even gave us directions to where we were headed after our meal. I wish more of our dining experiences had such great service.

Love this place and their beaver dam poutines, there s nothing like it when I come back to Alberta but I always make sure to stop in when I m in the city! Chelsey served us last time and she s the sweetest and funniest girl there for sure, very attentive and caring. 10/10 would go again! Parking: Lots of room for parking!

Food was delicious but service was absolutely terrible. Whole time was there never had anyone come to ask us if we would like a refill on drinks. A couple who walked in ended up leaving after 20mins of sitting and nobody coming to serve them. Another table beside us even had to walk up and get there own drinks. I know it was busy tonight but the staff sure didnt care to pick up their speed at all.

Ordered take out over the phone to our hotel. Ordered the buffalo chicken poutine, buffalo chicken caesar salad, deep fried pickles, and the junior hot dog with veggie sticks. They sent a measly amount of side caesar dressing for a giant salad, the pickles didnt come with any dipping sauce, the kids hot dog didnt come with any condiments, not even ketchup, the veggie sticks also didnt come with any dip, and there was no kids drink sent. Not to mention, they knew it was being delivered to a hotel, I *assumed* theyd send utensils, shouldnt assume I guess. Only 2 stars for me for those reasons. Food tasted great though.

Our server was very nice but only stopped to check in on us once in the hour and 20 minutes that we were there. Drinks were extremely watered down and both of our steak meals came out burnt after an hour wait. For 2 adult and 1 kids meal we spent $70 which was way over priced the the quality we received. Will not be going back again.

Drinks are usually good, no complaints when I sent a drink back for being unflavourful and got it removed from my bill. Love the service, always what Im looking for. Food is always good, too.

Meat lovers Poutine was fantastic !! And I m originally from Qc. It HAVE to be top 5 in the prairies. I ll be back for sure
