I have eaten there for over 35 years and have NEVER had a bad meal! I ate there yet back in the days when Chris and Iris owned it. They have always been consistent, reasonably priced, have high quality food and, hands down the best restaurant in this whole area. Staff are always friendly and very accommodating. Even with inflation, they are one of the few restaurants that are not price gauging their customers. Their lounge steak sandwich, Ceasar Salad and Frajaloki are my absolute favorites. Iris and Chris's daughter owns it now and she is the best! Classy, elegant, friendly, accommodating and clearly a very good successful business woman. I only wish they had delivery. I've ordered other places lots of times because they don't deliver along with other people I know. That's a LOT of lost revenue. That I do not understand. Lost a star for that. Pam Sorensen
Place is clean and service is wonderful. Sad that their food is bland. The burgers are frozen patties.. which is a disappointment. The fish and chips were very fishy and came with Kraft tartar sauce (wish they noted that in menu; as it sounded like it was house-made).
Steak was excellent! All else was ok. Decent place. Would like to try the pizza and Greek ribs another time. But we came for steak and weren’t disappointed. Rib eye with herb butter was on point!
Family staff, lots of parking, great place to eat
it wasn’t horrible, but i will not come here again. waitress couldn’t understand anything. the “prime rib” burger was a beef burger and a slice of ham on top. the tomatoe was moldly. and burger was overcooked
The prices are good. The atmosphere is nice, it’s fancier than usual spaces but not so fancy you need to feel super dressed up to feel like you belong. The menu is quite expansive and I love that there is a variety of options. Especially such a large chicken menu; that doesn’t happen often. They let me customize how I liked, food came out pretty quick. I did think it was weird I had to order tzatziki on the side for my Greek dish, but nice it was available when I asked. Service was good, fast and attentive. I would definitely return. Food was pretty good too.
First time to visit. Food was great and in massive quantities. Nice spot for cadual dinning. Shrimps appetizer were tasty. Nachos platter was generous amount to share for two. Steak and shrimps platter was really delicious however the steak was bit over cooked as per what I asked. I will be back!
Good environment, delicious food, and friendly services. I love the plater food, it contains a little bit everything. I will definitely come back if I go to Yorkton next time.

Answer the phone!!!! You re the only restaurant in Yorkton that ignores the phone. To-go orders are still business and part of your offered service. Absolutely ridiculous that you re expected to sit around for 30 minutes instead of just taking the fricken order over the phone. Awful, awful service, especially for how much they are charging. Good job on the food, chefs. Your hostesses (3 of them working) need to figure it out though.. and how is management condoning this? Your website says call, you don t offer online ordering, you don t have a voice mail. Pick up the phone, and ask them to hold for a moment instead of ignoring your out-of-towners and farmers who aren t able to come in and sit. I remember having to run across the restaurant I worked at to make sure I answered the phone. Ignoring customers is bad business. I don t want to waste my time sitting on a fricken bench for a pick up order, as if my time is less important than yours. Another lady said the same thing when I was there. Will not be ordering from there again.
It was a nice place to eat and not to to expensive. Had the chicken club would recommend it to who ever stops to eat there.
I attempted to place an order at 8:26 and was told the kitchen is closed by the rude Zara when their website clearly says they re open until 9pm. I won t be supporting such nonsense anymore, especially since I had to go there because they don t answer the phone to place an order for pick up. Overall just poorly managed with their mediocre customer service and lack of communication to customers when Zara or Cindy are working. Was this restaurant sold like Manos? The quality is just not as good as before when a salad and soup take literally a few minutes to prepare.
This is one of my favorite restaurants ... The pizza and Greek food are top notch ... Highly recommended!

Very good food with a nice dining room. The service was awesome too. I had the new york strip steak and it came with a salad, mashed potatoes, sauteed mushrooms, steamed vegtables, and a slice of garlic toast. All for $23. Washrooms were very clean and well stocked. There are no stairs to enter the restaurant making it handicap accessible.
Went tonight for my birthday and had a delicious steak. Will go again for the same thing.

0 stars, went at opening which is 11am with our U13 hockey team and we were turned away, there was only 1 table in the restaurant and we were told they only had 3 servers and couldn t accommodate us, good way to turn down a potential $1000+ bill, so we went to Boston pizza and they were very happy to see us.

Nice place had to ask for dipping sauce for the order of breaded mushrooms which was kind of weird it should have came on the platter no platter of mixed appetizers over all the food was good service was excellent but whoevers doing the menu needs to improve however we watched another waitress harass our waitress and werent impressed about it

Recently was to this family restaurant for dinner. Me& my wife tried the Back Bacon & Pineapple pizza. It was not what my wife was looking for in Bacon but that is the difference in food from Ontario to Saskatchewan. All in all it was still good as well fast as per service.
Second rate food at a restaurant pretending quality. The Greek salad was not a Greek salad but a garden salad with olives and crumpled feta on top. The stuffed potatoes were uninteresting and had a dull planty taste. Frankly, my mother can make them better. Service was wooden and had difficulty keeping my water topped off. In addition they rushed me out presenting me the bill before my meal was finished. The atmosphere was quite nice, I enjoyed the architecture and colour scheme. In conclusion the food is almost adequate and they certainly have quantity. But still a second-rate restaurant. RATING Avoid.
It was quite awhile since we visited and we werent disappointed. We will back again, but much sooner.
We don t eat out often but have been coming to Melrose for our anniversary for a few years. Food is always good, atmosphere is great and the service is excellent! Shout out to James, our waiter who remembers us from one year to the next! Highly recommend!

I enjoyed this so much. Been there twice now and the food is outstanding. I love the alfredo they have there, so rich with cream. The staff was incredible and did well with my grandmother who has dementia. With outstanding service and delicious cheesecake I say 10/10 Parking: Lots of space for parking. We parked in the far back for our dog to be under the trees Wheelchair accessibility: My grandmother is in a wheelchair and has dementia they were outstanding and it was easy to get her into the building!

This restaurant was exceptional. Located on the outskirts of Yorkton, I had no Idea it was there. The Insude is very clean, well decorated. We ate in the lounge. Steak dinner , shrimp, mushrooms, twice baked potato, salad and bread and the price wasnt much more than getting a burger from fast food place. The staff was very friendly, the food was served hot. The musician the lounge wasnt to loud. It was a great experience and we will be back
Melrose is always a nice place to eat. The waitresses do go out of their way to make sure you are a satisfied customer.
This place has exceptional food!! My wife and I dine here often and I must say this is absolutely the best place in yorkton to eat! I would also like to mention the two girls at the front .for being young they sure have wit and great sense of humour! (not sure if they are twins but they sure look like it) the servers are great as well! I always recommend this place to anyone who asks where they should go to eat!!

We got the sea food platter along with a side order of dry ribs, and it was yummy. I would recommend getting it. Lovely place, clean, and friendly people. A nice quiet place to go for your anniversary. The place looks and is dressy. Service is for stares because we didnt get a drink refill offered to us before we were out but thought maybe she thought we wanted to be left alone... but would still recommend this place. That was the first with the drink issue, I believe.
A huge thank you to Melrose Place Restaurant. They opened a space for our family to gather after dads service. Our server was beyond brilliant taking care of everyone. And as always the food was great. It meant so much for us to be able to spend more time together before people had to travel back. Thank you from Carol Bradley and our family

Beautiful restaurant and the food is amazing! lemon soup, roast chicken breast and Greek potatoes. Large portions and you will want to take your leftovers if you cannot finish it. Delicious!!

Our first time trying a new place to eat in Yorkton today. We come from out of town for appointments in the city, and a lady suggested this place. Our server was super kind, food was excellent and fresh, great prices and amazing portions for everything that you get, and best of all extremely clean environment. We will most definitely come back and try something new next time we re in town, thank you to all the lovely staff for everything.

The food was amazing! My partner had the special, Chicken Cordon Blue with Caesar Salad, and I had the Blackened Chicken with Chicken Lemon Rice Soup. The soup was sooo good. The salad had a bit too much dressing but aside from that my partner said he really enjoyed it. Both of our chicken was done to perfection! The blackened chicken was juicy and the flavour was unreal. The chicken cordon blue was delicious too. It takes a lot to impress us with food and this place definitely impressed us. The staff was super friendly too. Highly recommended this place!!

Went out for a late supper with family and had the lounge steak, in the lounge obviously, and it was amazing. Service was great, and the atmosphere was very pleasing as well.

Home style Greek food thats just ridiculously good. I got the gyro with the Greek salad honestly I thought it was one of the best gyro dinners I have got. This would compete easily with some of the best Greek restaurants in Toronto might even be top 10 in the country. Very underrated
