Pulled up at 8:10 (closes at 9) to the gentleman mopping the floors death staring me. Still went inside to order. Another man took our order while the man mopping was slamming the chairs and tables around. Slamming bathroom doors etc. not welcoming at all. Was going to leave just cause of how obviously upset the staff were. Not to mention them looking at each other and laughing when they realized how uncomfortable I felt. Don’t think I will be back after this experience

Great good — would not consider the wait times fast food, waited 20 minutes and we were the only customers. On the pricey side for a burger.
Great burger and onion rings. Fries.... Well I have had better but not too bad. The burger was very good. Only negative on the burger was the cheese slice was way too small the size of the burger. The milk Shake was also very good. Overall the food was very good. Just thought the price was a bit too high for what you got.
I've been there for my first time, recommended from friends. And they are right, might be the best burger in town as it was so yummy and the pricing was ok too. Interior looks very modern, open , clean kitchen and very professional staff. Highly recommended
Ordered a grilled cheese, fries, and a milkshake to go. Sat and watched them serve every body else that came after me. After over 30 minutes I asked where my food was. Idk why they just ignored me meal and seemed to not know how to make a grilled cheese and had to ask me how i wanted it. A damn grilled cheese, that's about as basic as you can get.. The milkshakes are not worth it.
Very unimpressed with our first visit. The girl working the counter was very rude when my wife’s meal was brought to her incorrectly. She asked for a grilled chicken breast and not fried for her BLT. The girl just walked away from our table and we sat for 10 minutes before anyone came back to ask if we had a problem. When the meal was brought back, it had no tomato and mayo just dumped on with a very oily chicken breast. I can understand if she was having a bad day same with the cook but their bad day made this customer give this store a 1 star review and not want to come back.
Went for the first time since they opened. We got there around 7:30pm. The layout inside is very good and almost like an old diner. I had irish nachos and rodeo burger. The nachos were absolutely amazing (and spicy) however the burger was so-so. The patties were a good size, but unfortunately it was lacking flavor and the meat was dry. A little more spices in the meat would go a long way. My kids and wife had meals as well. The main complaint was that the fries were soggy, and burger was bland and dry. One of my kids had a chicken burger and said it was really good. All in all it was a good experience and decent price. The staff were super friendly and energetic, and took the time to have a conversation with us while we waited for the food. Definitely will come back.

Very bad 1st experience. I do not usually write a bad review but my visit in this store was the worst experience I ever had. I was excited when my friend brought me here but very disppointed with the lady who took our order. Not friendly at all. She looks so mad when she took our order. She was so rude!! Maybe the fries and milkshake that my friends ordered were good, but I did not eat them. Her poor attitude towards customers just ruined the whole experience. I will never come back to this store! Poor customer service!!
Tasty burgers made fresh when u order
I was recommended this place by Journeyman, who has been working in town for a while, said its the best burger place in town! I got a burger and fries to go so I could film the review for my YouTube channel, Talentless Cooking. The fries were steamed by the packaging, theyre put in a little trey, then wrapped in a burger wrapper causing them to go floppy. The burger was pretty good, I liked the crinkle cut pickles the best. It was the classic burger with lettuce, pickles, diced onions, tomato, mustard and ketchup. Two burger patties and two slices of cheese on a nice soft bun, it was a pretty good burger.

The food is good but do expect to have a longer wait. The prices are reasonable but my main issue was I had to change my childrens diapers on the floor of the bathroom since there was no change tables. Update: I was told to call them and when I called I was told that they didnt even think about a change table and would consider putting one in, but I wont be going back and risking having the same issue.

Burger was dry but likely because all juices are hard pressed out of the meat when they are cooked. The fries were cold and soggy and very salty. 7 onion rings in the order. Service was good.

Had the double bacon burger, chili fries, and a shake. Burger would have been fairly plain without the bacon. Chili fries were fairly average. The shake was just okay. Noticed many were greeted upon entering after I seated and note I was not one of them. Highly underwhelming for the $26 spent that I should have went down the street. Parking: Shares parking in small strip so if cannot park out front need to walk a little.

Good burgers always worth the stop
I ordered onion rings and when they came they were all stuck together. Outside was done but inside was raw. Someone took them out of freezer and thawed them then returned them to the freezer where they all stuck together. Whoever was cooking should have seen that.
I order the crispy chicken and my hubby order Double bacon burger meal. Boy oh boy so delicious! Love the looks of the restaurant!
Edited my 5 star review because since our 1st visit its gotten terrible. When they 1st opened it was good. Sadly its gotten really slow now & orders have been screwed up the last 3 times. Took an hr to get our food delivered, delivery portions are way smaller than eat in too but cost more. When you wait that long & get wrong items & soggy handful of onion rings its ridiculous! We ordered custom burgers & they keep screwing it up adding things not supposed to be on it. We order custom due to anaphylactic allergies & extreme dislikes. When you spend $50 for a meal for 2 people you want to get what you order & should. Occasionally mess ups happen but not 3 times in a row. Very disappointed & wont eat there again.

Clean, retro feeling burger joint, delicious food. Burgers are great, juicy and real. (Not a paper thin McDonalds patty) Poutine is great, especially when you add fried chicken. A little more money than fast food, but worth it entirely. Kid-friendliness: Kids combos available.

Our family has a hard time eating out due to allergies and dietary requirements. When we heard that there was a place we could try that would be able to accommodate our dietary restrictions we were very excited to try it out. When decided to go there about a month ago and the service was oddly terrible. The young lady was visibly annoyed when I was asking her about ingredients (my son and I were the only customers in the restaurant). The food was satisfactory but every time she looked at us she was giving us unnerving looks. My 12 year old whispered to me that he was uncomfortable because they kept glaring at him. It was weird. We ate and left. I wanted to write a review that day but I also wanted to take time to think about what had occurred. In retrospect I wish I would have said something that day, no one has the right to make a paying customer uncomfortable by glaring at them-let alone a child. No matter how good the food is, customer service is what brings people back.
I have nothing to say but nice things about this restaurant. Service is great and they make anything the way you ask... the end product is juicy and just dances on my pallet. Thank you for being so dang amazing ! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options!!!! One of the only restaurants to offer it and it still tastes great!!!

I went to Yorkton for a trip. Somebody recommended me to try wayback burger. No doubt the food was good. But the Manager over there was so rude and bossy. She was very rude to Indian people. And I saw that she was very rude to the employees as well.

No better than a fast food burger. Bacon was virtually flavorless. The individual components of the burger were indiscernable. Aside from the acidic mustard the burger became a bland excuse for a meal. The overly sweet strawberry syrup meant that no actual strawberries were harmed in the making of this runny shake. On a list of the best burgers in Yorkton...this one is waaaaay back.
Excellent lunch. Burgers were moist and tasty. Very busy yet line moved quickly. Most orders are takeout so no problem finding place to sit in restaurant.
The burgers are mediocre. Onion rings were totally soggy and inedible due to this. The chicken strips were also soggy because they were sooo drenched in oil, it was pooled on top of one and the batter or whatever was falling off because it was so greasy. Also, absolutely no kind of seasoning on them. Neither me or my sister even finished all of our meals.
Soggy af onion rings that are sweet for some reason ? Soft, greasy, chicken tenders, zero crunch, NO flavor AT ALL, I wasnt even asked to make sure if I want sauce or not, they are as plain as they can possibly get. The burger was OKAY at most. And you better hope they have actual good drink options from their fridge, because currently they have no carbonation in their fountain machines (??), otherwise you HAVE to get a milkshake if you want a drink. Waste of $$, didnt even finish my meal :/
Wayback does not disappoint !! I ve had a chicken burger and fries & a burger there so far! Very tasty food , I didn t find the fries soggy at all! Yesterday the fries were a tad well done but still edible. I love the shakes they are tasty . The service is good and yesterday they were working on a few glitches with system but the (manager/owner?) was fantastic! Very polite , kind and never any issues with the fact I have a service dog. (Papered & licensed by government) . I just love going here!!

i don t usually post reviews but DAMNNN. the milkshakes were absolutely to die for i literally couldn t stop drinking it and the burgers were SOOOOO GOOD. LIKE PERFECT. AND THE STAFF WERE LIKE THE NICEST PEOPLE EVER. DEFINITELY COMING BACK AS SOON AS I CAN.

The 5 stars go to the young white kid who clearly cares about his first job and is good at it. The classic burger sucked. Its flavorless. Fat and salt are needed for that dry burger. The onion rings need to be salted wheb they come out of the oil fast so it sticks to them before they dry out.

Ive had way better...the actual burger was tough,my tater tots were very greasy as in the oil was not properly drained from them as were my boyfriends onion rings...there was oil sitting in the bottom of the container...

Visited to have vegetarian food.. found burger which I liked.
Very clean and uncluttered . Plenty of parking . Burgers were good . Washrooms were very clean . Would eat there again .
